Im fed up of all these pundits and journalists saying about Dave king should sell up it's a joke! What are these guy on about Sell up to who? Anyone with money who wanted to buy are club have had plenty of chances over the years but the fact is nobody has stepped up apart from Dave king and tbh we are in a much better place now than we were when he took control and we are going in the right direction and it's clear king and co have rangers best interest at heart. Think some people have been deluded by this 30million war cheast when tbh king stated I could take 30million to get the club back on track but he never said the very first summer I'm going to spend the whole 30millon on players all in one go did he! It's about steady investment over a few years. Just remember He managed to get the club out of Ashley clutches when we were in deep trouble and is still trying to sort out the retail side of things. i dread to think we're we would be if he never took control people need to cut him some slack seriously and on another note I think he will be happy to sell if it was to someone who is willing to take the club forward but untill then we are at least in safe hands With him.

Well said mate

15 Mar 2017 22:10:12
Too many supposed to be rangers fans wanting to bring people down do you want ashley or king ano who i want get a grip can't stand these so called supporters spouting pixx get a grip and be happy that we are in hands of rangers men not ones that want to bleed us dry x

15 Mar 2017 23:05:17
Completely agree but also understand why a lot of fans feel the way they do given how things have been over the last 5-10 years. Once ashley is gone and a few of the other cases etc are resolved the club will be in a position to grow again

Saw the first couple of training sessions with Pedro and main emphasis is on pressing opponents and only taking 2 touches before passing. Good to see.

16 Mar 2017 19:24:32
put this another way if at next season at this point we are this number of points behind celtic with david king investing verry little money like this season.
Do you still think investers and fans will stick by him then and not blame him.
the pundits and the fans no this is a big summer for the board and for this we require a big investment on players this summer to close gap on celtic so will be intresting to see if this happens.

Deano on March 5th 2015 Dave King promised "Absolute honesty and transparency. " Do you think he gave that to the shareholders with his failure to admit he was part of a concert party? Do you think he did that when he failed to make an attempt to buy all of the shareholding?

Do you think he did that when he attempted to hide the share ownership in companies in the Virgin Islands and Guernsey amongst other places? Do you think he did that when he made it difficult for TAB to establish the share ownership?

A lot of you seemed to be seduced by his claims of honesty transparency but when push comes to shove, a good number of you just back the regime, time after time after time, crook after crook after crook. Your pleas of "what can we do? " ring hollow when you support him in posts like that and more importantly when you back them time after time at AGM's.

Yes that is exactly where you can say "No you haven't came close to living up to your pledges. " Your on what, your SIXTH dodgy CEO in a row maybe? If you don't learn now you never will and to be honest hell mend you if you can't actually see King for what he is. Why don't you just trade in "the teddy bears" for the three monkeys? See No Evil, Hear No Evil and Speak No Evil, It's seems far more fitting.

i think king will suprise a few people this this summer and sepnd the money we need to get back to europe and the top of the spl .

im not saying its all coming from his own pocket but i think he will get the money from somewhere as i believe he is a very smart guy with a few tricks up his sleeve

What I find slightly laughable, if not surprising, is the amount of posters now coming out slating MW, when some folk were shot down (most likely by the same sheep) that are now posting slating MW and DW.
Only interesting thing is no-one has used the much favoured term of "wage thief" to direct it at players - yet players like McCulloch, Boyd, MILLER et al were all labelled that way.

15 Mar 2017 17:21:23
I think that most people critising MW are referring to their attitude at the end and their apparent lack of commitment.

Of course most were unhappy with the results etc but it is the fans duty to get behind the club and offer support through thick and thin.

That has to be rewarded by the players and management doing their utmost to improve our situation - with hindsight MW was clearly not committed and so deserves to be slaughtered for his dishonesty

15 Mar 2017 17:28:00
I wanted MW to succeed here, I had some doubts on his lack of adaptability in our tactics last year, and he was found wanting. Some of his summer signings and their sheer number, after his lean squad comments last year, were alarming. All that can be forgiven but his actively seeking a new club after being given a big rise in salary here BITES. So no surprise to me he's being turned on.

15 Mar 2017 20:13:07
We were warned about Warburton from some of his ex players from Brentford. They said things like he wouldn't change or adapt to suit the teams strengths and not changing from short corners too.
I was wanting him to succeed but, I also think he was given too much time. He should have been shown the Door long before he did.
I hope that caxhinia proves to be a shrewd bit of business for the teddy bears.

16 Mar 2017 17:42:14
To be fair blueblazer most fans that slated warbs and weir had saw through their flawed tactics for a while and had been slating them for months before they were sacked. Where have you been?

16 Mar 2017 17:54:30
I was a Warbs fan right up to the Hearts result and even then i was hoping he could turn it around. The reality is he knew and DW knew it wasnt going to happen so they manipulated a way out that initially backfired on them resulting in their claims they hadnt resigned! At that point sorry Warbs you have done the dirty. Good luck at Forrest but Rangers forever.

It's no secret that we struggle with our CB's and this season Liam Lindsay has caught my eye. young, good centre back at 6ft 3. One to watch out for in the future imo and would like to see him join us. together with Bates I think that would be good options for us to have breaking through. Would keep Wilson as I think he is sold short and on his day can be really good. Hill I believe may retire and I would get rid of Kiernan as soon as possible. next season would like to see a good experience CB on Pedro's choice join us, Wilson, Bates, Lindsay and Senderos (only cause we won't be able to get rid of him and he has another year on his deal) .

Any CB's out there you guys would like to see us go for that's realistic?

15 Mar 2017 17:09:34
Does anyone else find it alarming how many times Wilson gets caught out by a bounce ball or misjudges the flight of the ball? My mate's a season ticket holder at Tynecastle and says it happened pretty regular with him at Hearts too.

15 Mar 2017 17:41:11
Kiernan is statistically our best defender wins more on the ground and in the air than any other CB. IF Pedro can coach the mistakes out him or change his style of play he's maybe worth another year.

15 Mar 2017 17:47:39
Lwdawson, totally agree with your comment. Wilson is shocking and gets nowhere near the abuse directed at Kiernan but makes far more mistakes and is also lazy at best. Dundee, Inverness, Parkhead to name but three places where he has single-handedly cocked up or misjudged the flight of a long ball.

15 Mar 2017 21:20:09
Kiernan is rank rotten and neither he or Wilson are the answer. Hopefully Warburton will take Kiernan to Forrest but that would seem to good to be true

16 Mar 2017 09:54:36
I'd like us to go for the young hamilton CB. I think he's there captain also?!
I reckon having him and bates ( both youngish ) with Wilson ( still reckon there is a player there if he has 2 FBs who defend ) and getting in another experienced CB would give us good options.
I'd chase Senderos and hopefully Warburton comes in for Kiernan.

16 Mar 2017 17:03:55
Papabear, like you, i really like the look of partick thistle centre half, liam lindsay, and have actually posted on here before, as to us going to try and sign him! The centre half i would like us to sign up for next season, is the current ipswich town centre half, christophe berra!

16 Mar 2017 17:40:19
Wilson is a liability like Kieran both should b sold at end of season get two decent central defenders and a new captain as Wallace is never a leader, get a solid defense first and someone to boss the midfield.

16 Mar 2017 18:09:03
Kiernan is actually a better defender than Wilson imo

16 Mar 2017 19:29:16
Kiernan maybe wins more on the ground or in the air but it's usually 25 yards out of position when he should be nowhere near it. Hill and Wilson have looked by far the most solid pairing this year even though they're both left sided.

16 Mar 2017 23:28:49
kyle bartley played with us knows what its about and has got better over time plus i'd love to see him go through brown again that was a brilliant challange lol

16 Mar 2017 23:33:02
Papa bear, I scouted younger players for many years and if I was scouting Lindsay I'd be at the point of getting a second opinion because there's a player there, but he might lack a bit of mobility and of course he's still raw. My verdict would be worth a punt, he's 21, give him a season or two and see what's there.
