hi ed, can you clarify the ticketus deal? Is the deal based on season ticket sales or ticket sales in general? If season ticket why dont rangers sell tickets only? that way ticketus get hee haw {Ed001's Note - it is based on X amount of ticket sales, whether season tickets or pay on the door will make no difference.}

If ticketus or craig whyte are not due the 18 million whyte paid to llyods or ticketus the 24 million answer following,
A)why do you think nobody is due to be repayed for paying llyods,
B)if the ticketus money is a bill due to whyte why are adminastrators chasing the remander?,
C),you cant say its legal as far as taking money, paying llyods, chasing the remainder, not accepting whyte as a secured creditor,or ticketus due their money, all that can not be the case,

Rusty I'm right and you know it the tim!!I'm a Celt thru and thru and it's not just the Celtic fans who agree with me it's the sensible rangers fans as well so most of you's on this page are out of that category!!!what's Steve Davis got that big sammi hasn't?exactly nothing.sammi would turn him that many times he wouldn't know if he was going for a s**te or a shave!don't even get me started on your front line.next old firm hoppers going to tie his boots together but also put them on the wrong feet to give your centre halfs a chance.p.s there's only 1 thing that's worse than getting beat off Celtic, that's getting pelters fae a fat baldy ginger hail hail rusty the rolly polly

BIG QUESTION ! who introced craig whyte to ticketus ! a company rangers used before takeover ! this smells

Believable7 Unbelievable0

Minty murray

Agree0 Disagree0

Llyods TSB rep was introduced whyte to ticketus and who backed them up

Agree0 Disagree0

That's a hell of a good question! Exactly how did Whyte get to know about Ticketus and also know that his bid would be accepted? Looks as if Murray has a lot more to answer for. Reckon he came out the other day and used his media puppets again, this time to bash Whyte, as any response from Whyte will carry no credibility.

Agree0 Disagree0

Craig whyte has a friend inside ticketus, I don't know for sure, it could have been murray who's made the deal, but chances are it's his friend from ticketus that has made him aware of this deal
deejay.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Mar 2012 19:08:43
Don't Shoot me down in flames it is a scenario more than a rumour.

A friend of mine who owns over 100 flats and a couple of businesses in Glasgow, he is a very smart guy when it comes to getting loans and finance, He recons that if Whyte did not have documentation to prove he owned Rangers he could not have borrowed the Money on future sales of the season tickets, But it is common for business men who are having temporary cash flow problems or need a temp cash injection to do what is called a twist deal. A bit like a bridging loan when you buy a new flat while waiting for the sale completion on your first flat. He recons White would went to ticketus
laid out his plans to buy the club he would have secured the loan on his other businesses temporally, then once he had bought the club.he would then go back to them do the original planned deal on season tickets, this would have been when the security would have been changed from his other business to the Season Ticket deal. and the reason for the change from a 3year deal to a 4 year deal. could have been down to the doubting the press where starting to mumble about him giving ticketus leverage to demand higher interest. .As I say not facts but this guy knows his stuff and says that is how he would have pulled it off had he been in whytes position.
Kev 03

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Good post. Im thinking your right. CheltBlue

Agree1 Disagree1

Or, it could simply be that murray told ticketus that whyte was in the process of buying rangers, which is more likely

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Mar 2012 18:52:33
I think its time rangers fc started being alot more dignified,
Squirming and wriggling is an embarresment to their name & supporters,
Ticketus gave rangers 24 million, even if it went to whyte it still paid your overdraft ti llyods,
The shareholders at ticketus are normal people who will miss out,
It was paid in good faith,
It should also be returned in good faith,
Payvback the tax payer,
It could in effect be you or a family member suffering due to lack of money not paid in taxes could be the treatment someone needs,
Money for troops,nhs,police,schools,
Instead paying dodge it 3 times,
Poor rangers a joke, poor people needing urgent care etc & cant because of non psyment of business tax,
Pay other clubs what they are due,
I no you love your club but if you look at bigger picture your club is not a victim,
Its s disgrace to spl,scotland,britain,
Even yet just cant put your hands up & say this is all our doing, but try tarnish everyone else with your smeared brush,
Yous all stood & took the good
Stand & take responsibility for your mess,
I dont blame any1 for loving or defending their club,
Any normal human would be disgusted with way people jeoperdise your exsistance, within yourselfs, keep looking for someone to blame, untill you wash your own hands it will never stick on to anyone else,

Believable11 Unbelievable8

Hold on a minute here.

Rangers have not been found guilty of withholding taxes, if found not guilty that means all was above board.

As for Ticketus, that was a deal agreed between said company and Mr Whyte. He is the person responsible for the re-payment, not Rangers Football Club.

Agree2 Disagree7

Yeah I put my hands up, it was me. Im just an ordinary fan but I told SDM to bend the rules. I also told CW to rip all of the needy off too. Not the dole cheats who take billions off the tax payer, I mean the sick and vulnerable... Happy now? CheltBlue. ps Im embarressed everyday about the state were in but its not the fans fault.

Agree5 Disagree0

Well all use folk think we are a discrace what are the spl cause they have run other leauge down the pan they dont have a clue this would never have happend down england and if it did they would have sorted the mess in days and booted us out they the spl take weeks months and years to do anying

Agree1 Disagree3

Their is exactly what iam saying, the big tax case aside you still owe 15 millionn now,i didnt rip people off y shld i care,nr did you pay for the club to win things but you still took that, its the spl thats a disgrace,no it RANGERS no I in team,

Agree3 Disagree0

To the main poster - Do you really think you are the first to post those types of points?
I agree with the majority of gers fans on here that we should pay back what we owe.
Your points are weeks old but the most sad thing is that you are using these points of nhs, troops etc to have a go at a team/club that you hate, when any other day you wouldn't give a toss.
There is over £120billion a year disappears in non payment of tax, tax evasion, tax fraud and uncollected taxes in the UK from large companies and wealthy individuals.
So save your crocodile tears for all the causes that you mentioned cos you just dont give a toss.

Agree6 Disagree1

I have posted on here several times now saying that we should pay what is due. i personally am disgusted at the way the club has been run and if any illegal stuff can be proved then those responsible should be held accountable for it but i am getting sick of celtic fans coming on here bleating about tax for the troops when they refuse to wear poppys and i seem to remember a story about a season ticket holder at parkhead being abused by other tic fans because he had a poppy on as his son is serving abroad at the moment. stop being hypocrites, you all hate the british armed forces and have been vocal about it with signs and up the ra songs.

Can i just say, everybody should stop writing the debt we might get, if you seen newsnight a few weeks ago, that man said that a 70 mill tax bill is just a rough gestimate could be higher or lower a don't understand why some of you are all sayin 100mill (bolls) right here we go, our debt before everything was 30 mill ( not exact) and brought down to just 18 mill (exact) then obv when you add the 15 mill from our recent apposed debt and that takes it back up to 33 mill, most of the possible added on debt is just HEARSAY, so once again to make it clear, it could BE LOWER than 50 mill, if this consortium goes ahead the 3 that was mentioned adds up to a combined total of just over 1bill + , so IMO we could probably just get out it and no more, so they WILL have to spend money preferably “ halfing in“ as our neddy culture would say lol and again my opinion, things actually don't look that bad. S&M

Believable3 Unbelievable7

You've conveniently forgotten about the 24m you owe ticketus, and the debt to creditors, and the debt to your players come the end of the season.

rangers ARE looking at debts close to 80m BEFORE the big tax case is added on...so yes, over 100m is well within the parameters

Agree8 Disagree6

Well apparently its craig whytes not ours, for the fact he took their money before he took us over, that's what D&P are tryin to make clear

Rusty I've got ginger hair so what I'm a tim!!!rangers fans why do you's constantly slaughter my opinions??opinions aren't right or wrong!is it because I'm ginger like Neil Lennon?why is it you mention Neil Lennon to a rangers fan and all you get is vile out there mouths!have you's no class?look at Celtic from top to bottom, directors are nothing but a credit to us fans, management are 1st class and say all the right things and respect other managers and players, players are talented, barca class, kind, appreciate fans and give them time ie talking to them ,autographs, pictures and the world class fans who sing good classy clean songs who make everyone welcome to parkhead and get on with every other supporters ie rangers fans where you's just let down everything about Scottish football!!as I said I'm ginger and proud so respect me and my opinion!!hail hail rusty the ginger tim!!

Believable9 Unbelievable11

Hilarious mate, disagree with everything you said, lennon and his coaches are immature boys who can't take it when things aren't going there way, there disrespectful to refs, your players are barnsley class! the barca class was the funniest part of your post even lennon would giggle at that! The sad thing is that charles Mulgrew is gona somehow get player of the year when we all know that Stevie Naismith is the top player in scotland and would of won it had he not got injured, fact is when things were good at the start of the season we pumped you's it could have been 6 or 7, And yes opinions are neither right or wrong; However your statment there is not an opinion it's a Fantasy! Agree0 Disagree0

Got to say i didnt even realise the mistake - beemer lol

ryanrfc

Agree0 Disagree0

Common mistake but Marseille were not charged or found guilty with anything to do with that, or any other Champions league season. What they did was bribe a couple of Valencienes players before a league match, their last game before Champions league final vs Milan, to go easy on them, a result which also helped secure their league win. What they did had no effect on knocking Rangers out. They were stripped of the Champs league win and this was awarded to Milan. What I would say is there is no smoke without fire and there is every possibility that they did nobble the odd official or opposition player during that season, Club Brugges result looks iffy especially when you recall how Brugges performed against Rangers, but as yet no accusation or charge made against them.
Even as a Celt though...I reckon they probably did! {Ed001's Note - actually there were a number of accusations made against them that were never investigated. Typical UEFA though, they wouldn't want to uncover the corruption that is rife and has been for years.}

Right then if we are talking about been shafted or stripping titles or whatever Porto are planning, should we not have had a European final to play in , it's been proved WE WERE CHEATED out of one, so wind your necks in timmy because we were conned out of the biggest prize in club football.
Archie buchannan(before gina tried tae top me an i came back as 'Douglas')

Believable8 Unbelievable7

Cheated how? rangers drew their last section game and that wznt enough

Agree4 Disagree5

Still had to win the final clowns, just a little hurdle, but i will say that u should have been compensated and every one else marseille done over.

Agree4 Disagree2

2. On that basis we were the team who would have progressed in the group, not Marseille. Hence why we were cheated. TBH I think there is so much rubbish out there the now, nothing is believable until it's done and dusted. Everything spoken about Rangers should be taken with a pinch of salt, as all these rumours are just getting boring now. It's time for some clarity. The whole thing is now embarrasing and would make a much better movie than "Shot at Glory".lol. Seriously, until the tax case is resolved & CW relinquishes control, nothing should be believed.... Coisty

Agree5 Disagree0

Wipe that cheating French sh!tebags from the group and I think you will find that an unbeaten rangers would of went to the final, "cheated how" THAT'S HOW !
Douglas(gina threw me off a cliff, I canna mind im Archie)

Agree3 Disagree3

Rangers were cheated, how dose that feel i wonder says the rest of the spl b

Agree3 Disagree3

How come they cheated and they are to quote you cheating French scumbags does that by your logic make Dignity FC cheating Scottish scumbags? If so it is refreshing for one of you bears to admit it. Scotlands past and continued shame

Agree4 Disagree1

If your gonna "quote" then do it right, sh!tebags not scumbags.
Lenny Murdoch

Agree1 Disagree2

How where yous cheated? , am i not correct in saying the bribing was in the french league to make there game easier before the champions league game, hence why nothing happpend in europe but the were stripped of title and relegated from ligue 1

gunner&tim {Ed001's Note - only because UEFA refused to investigate the Champions League matches.}

Agree0 Disagree0

If you take the marseille results out of the group Bruggue would have gone through as they would gain 4 points (points for a win)and rangers woul have gained 2 points (rangers drew twice with Marseille) that would have given Bruggue 11 points and Rangers 10

Ed, here is my thoughts on a large company taking over the club if the administrators are allowed to remove Cw's shares from him:

Invest £100m in the club, secure naming rights on Ibrox (say 20years) & secure shirt sponsorship for the next 10 years.

Within 1st year sell off 34.9% of shares in share issue to recoup part of the investment.

Run the club within it's means (£35m brought in then only £35m can only be spent)

After 5 years sell the remaining 50.1% of shares in another share issue, this time selling of shares in a club which is back on it's feet, running within it's means and has no debt.

They might only recoup 1/2 of the original investment but they have been given massive publicity, would still have 5 years shirt sponsorship left & 15 years naming rights left on the investment and a £50m investment for what they have received would not be a massive loss to a massive company.

Plus if the big tax bill is less than £50m then the original investment might not need to be £100m.

Could be pie in the sky but then again could possibly happen if someone with more of a business brain than me sees the same opportunities that I have listed.

Believable7 Unbelievable8

So bb every newspaper in the land is full of stories regarding interest from people looking to buy us. brian kennedy n the blue nights have gone on record as saying they WILL made a bid. so theres 2 guarenteed bids.....but you know different eh?!!
as for them lot winning the league by a country mile....your best maybe to go n support a team that has no expectations or aspirations if thats your attitude. so if we didnt lose naisy n weren't in administration they would still have won the league by a distance?? terrible attitude for any rangers fan to have. i cam guess what bb stands for....baw bag?

Rangers are in "Administration" , it will be confirmed on Monday , when HMRC will apply to appoint their own independant administrators who will get the job done instead of pussy footing about like Duff and Phelps , these court appearances are only delaying the inevitable , Rangers can not survive on the plans currently in place , there is far to much going on for Rangers to be exonerated , HMRC will not be allowed to let Rangers off with 10p in the £ , it opens up a can off worms and creates a potentially damaging precedent , the faces being mooted as potential buyers could have their own volume of "Digger" such is their reputation , the quicker Rangers liquidate and return as a new club , the sooner they can get back on an even keel , the old Rangers cant get out of the mess they are in without facing up to and paying back £80m to £100m , and lets be honest nobody will do that , time to bite the bullet , its over .

Just a couple of questions, I'm living in France so a bit too far away to get real news other than SUN, RECORD etc, my questions are, C Whyte agreed to pay £1 for the club plus the Lloyds bank debt£18millionbut he didn't, he used the club's money to pay for this so illegal, 2nd point ,why did ticketus forward the £24 million to someone who at that time had no right to access it he was just someone who wanted to buy the club.As far as SDM is concered he's now saying the the EBT's were not used for salaries , players / directors if this is the case what were they used for ? sea side trips for poor kids in govan??

Watch out Channel 4 are about.

Believable9 Unbelievable10

No need to disagree it's 100% true...Alex Thomson Chief Correspondent and Presenter for CH4 News has tweeted that they begin filming on monday...investigating Rangers/SFA/SPL, governance of the Scottish game and 'Succulent lamb' culture....hold onto your hats ladies this is about to get interesting!

Agree12 Disagree9

Does anyone know when this will air?

Agree0 Disagree5

Not sure when it will air but it certainly puts more pressure on the SFA,SPL to do their job correctly when carrying out their investigations.

Agree5 Disagree5

Investigating ya plum, not adjudicating. Yet another red herring from deluded dhims, in their eyes there is no need to carry out an investigation just go out and hang us, why, because they are bigoted to the core. If we are or indeed the SFA/SPL are guilty then it should be dealt with but please don't let your bile preempt any investigation. Oops to late.

Agree4 Disagree5

Seriously Number 4 you need to have a word with yourself..I am not a tim my small minded, deluded little friend..all i have done is simply quoted Alex Thomsons tweet so you are in fact calling an award winning war correspondent a plumb.
By the way your post literally makes no sense...its a ch4 investigation into the whole farce...watch the program and draw your own conclusions.

Agree2 Disagree2

No 5 why are they investigating mutton pies?

Agree2 Disagree0

Don't know number 6...wait for the program to air and watch it yourself. Why don't you tweet or email Alex Thomson and ask him why he thinks it's a worthy subject for investigating....you keep sticking your head in the sand though maybe the nasty men will go away!

Duff & Phelps. DUFF being the appropriate word here. These guys are bleeding our club even drier (if thats possible). We were supposidly in administration 4 weeks ago. Now it seems that, through their sheer neglegence, they forgot to inform the appropriate authorities. Their legal costs, so far, have probably cost us £1m. For what ? A new cour hearing has now been set ! More cash. These jokers are definately in cahoots with someone to bust us ASAP. Its money, money, money and money we do not have. The whole affair smellls of a rat as we continue to become the laughing stock of European football.

Believable13 Unbelievable1

15 Mar 2012 06:16:37
Gents, DO NOT TAKE THE LATEST NEWS AS GOOD. If Rangers are not in administration officially then HMRC will appoint their own this time. Forget the technical issues and look at the facts, 1 mill a month losses and players taking massive wage cuts to fulfil fixtures. You need admin to save the club. Heid oot the sand bears and one of you for crying out loud ask why Whyte is not up on fraud charges. I am a Celtic fan but no bigot, We need you, you need us, Scottish football needs us both. The smaller clubs have always been jealous of the big two and always will. They moan and groan but they need to have a look at themselves and the number of fans in through their gates.

Believable8 Unbelievable7

I have no sympathy for them, you said scottish football needs the old firm, it was a different story when both clubs wanted to go to the English premiership, so why should any other supporter feel sorry for the them

Agree1 Disagree1

15 Mar 2012 03:51:05
All you Celtic supporters need to face the truth You's all know that we are gonney get back what belongs to us season12/13.
You's are all worried because You's all know that we will be taking over way someone who will mega invest in our great institution of football and we are more than a club plus we don't do walking away W.A.T.P

Believable8 Unbelievable18

Agree, agree, agree mate. fact is if wee naisy didnt get injured we wuda still won this league even with a 10pt deduction. dont care what anyone says, jelavic going was a big blow bud naisy was the top man for us and if fit wuda dragged us to 4iar im certain of it. so with him back next season and a few additions, hopefully a good striker and a box to box midfielder we'll stroll it next season. selik are worried because they convinced themselves we were going out of business or at least lose all out top players but administration has seen us lose 2 bit part players and with a new buyer looking likely we must be the only team in football to retain a full quota of first team players and come outa this mess in very decent shape.
j1985

Agree9 Disagree10

Why do you make this all about Celtic? Get rangers sorted out and then you can spout all yor Bumf!If you dont there will be no rangers! From South Africa!

Agree8 Disagree7

Will the tax man get back what belongs to him?

Agree5 Disagree1

You are correct someone will pump mega money into the club.

£15 mill paye/ni
£4 mill missing players wages
£20 mill to Craig Whyte
£3 mill to D&P
£49 mill to HMRC big tax case

And who knows what else is still outstanding.

So a minimum of £90 mill and that is before you buy a player.

Ian(54 and subtracting)

Agree10 Disagree10

Do you know more than anyone else? if so could you please divulge? who says we owe d&p 3 million? why have you set yourself at 20 million to craig whyte? I don't think the 4 million to missing players wages has to be paid back and I'm amazed to find that the tax case has finished showing we have lost and owe 49 million!!
you must have good connections hen, because you seem to know alot more than anyone else!!
deejay!

Agree4 Disagree4

Deejay i don't know if you know this but all them lot are either lawyers, financial advisors or have inside info from HMRC.....at least they think they are.

J1985

Agree3 Disagree5

Lets look at it.
You agree £15mill hmrc
Yet you contest the other 4. Ok the players will have something in their new contracts to say they get their money back or walk for free. I was being generous with £4 mill you could lose a lot more than that.
Craig Whyte will want his £18 mill floating charge and at least £2 mill for his shares.
D&P wont be cheap I think £3 mill will be the price for their service if you believe the £600 to £800 per hour.
HMRC will win why would you want to pay them off twice before £49 mill.

I also forgot about the £25 mill to ticketus.
So it is actually more like £115 mill to spend before a player is bought.

Ian(54 and subtracting)

Agree7 Disagree3

The £18m floating charge is questionable at least to be CW's or any of his companies, and then you hit again with Ticketus being owed £25m.
Poster no. 7 have you been on planet heidupyirarse?
What do you think CW's floating charge is for and where did he get the £18m really £24m? (even though he may not have one or have one but it's seriously questionable)

Agree2 Disagree0

Your inside knowledge is incredible! you must know someonereally high up in all this because you seem t be the only one that can say this factually!! who told you that then? me thinks you read too much p*sh!!
deejay

Agree0 Disagree1

No 8 again - May well be on the news already. Duff and Phelps went to the Court of Session to ask for an Administration Order. They were acting as agents for RFC who are still in admin. As we all know Craig Sh!te took us into admin.
This Administration Order if awarded has the same effect as is this now ie we are in admin and trying to keep the company going, agreeing with creditors etc.
However prior to applying to the court the company ie CW could sack Duff and Phelps.
While under an Administration Order they cannot.
So CW cannot remove Duff and Phelps if Admin Order approved by CofSess.
Apparently during an Administration the Administrators should identify straight away the likes of any floating charge and by whom.
Ticketus could, Close Leasing probably have for the catering and CW has somethingish but Ticketus could null this because it is the same money.
Either RFC plc owes ticketus or CW in the guise of Wavetower - Rangers FC Group Ltd or Liberty Capital or some other guise does.
Duff and Phelps are currently interim managers for RFC (but don't sit in the dug out) until the decision on the Administration Order on the 19th March.
CW would appear to be unable to influence them.
If they were his puppets why would they want to defend themselves from him via the Admin Order?
CW could have called in the receiver having put RFC into admin, this court order if approved stops that.
Now all of this info is in the web. But I can say that not one piece of it is from the rangerstaxcase site.
Am going to watch the Athletic Bilbao game they are running riot at the moment.

Just a random bears, but IF douglas park will get involved with us, does thst mean celtic will have to walk to every game cos they use Park of hamilton buses ( douglas parks company) haha, steeeve

Believable4 Unbelievable4

Dream on friday the morro and still no bid and bye the way talking about buses your team is that skint i heard the addmin asked if the players could car share 2 away games lol

Agree4 Disagree3

Wee point with rankers not in addmin at the mo the club is not safe all creditors can claim full money now also if hmrc want could put a winding up order on them i dont think that will happen but i do expect them to put in own addmin team

Agree2 Disagree2

Re 2) HMRC won't put in their team, they would still be obliged to pay D&P and then a new team. There would be nought left for any creditors and a possible buyout would be improbable, this would leave them with nought.hector isn't stupid.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would not think so,Celtic pay their way so I would think Parks needs at least 1 paying customer

....and you lot are happy with this? lol!!

And how do you know thi? where do you get your knowledge from? it's quite amense!! he's in the paper today QUOTING, that a bid WILL be made, as the post above says 'actions speak louder than words' followed by the ridiculous 'you clown' comment.
