A third and final bid for Graham Dorrans will decide our fate, believed to be around 1.2m

Rangers are set to test Hearts resolve with Rob Keirnon as a makeshift for Jamie Walker plus £700k

{Ed039's Note - are you sure we haven't offered them £700k to just take Kiernan?)

15 Jun 2017 23:29:22
Kiernan is mince and Tav not avoid defender should use their wages to bring Dorrans in.

16 Jun 2017 00:16:28
Cant see keirnan wanting that move i reckon he Wil go south, believe dorrans one really want that and walker is a smashing young player

15 Jun 2017 22:13:23
Also morelos has a work permit and passed medical, looking good bears

15 Jun 2017 22:06:51
Morelos has passed medical and granted work permit! Superb looking forward see him banging them in for us

New image uploaded to the
Rangers Player Sightings page entitled, 32 Red kits doing the rounds!

16 Jun 2017 07:38:05
Home top looks the same as the 1998-1999

The orange one is the same as the 2001-2002

Hopefully this is true

16 Jun 2017 08:35:24
If only that was true. All three look great

15 Jun 2017 21:00:18
A tell you what if Rangers announce Dorrans, penna, Harrera and morales before the Monday European deadline we have done some of the best footballing business Seen in a while. Exciting times.

15 Jun 2017 19:57:54

16 Jun 2017 00:55:25
6 "Disagree"

Am now 100% sure celtic fans troll this page.

16 Jun 2017 09:55:11
DOIGER! Surely that should read "Sheep in wolf's clothing"?

15 Jun 2017 19:30:45
What's everyone's thoughts on Michael O'halloran playing right back he has plenty of pace wood do a job?

{Ed039's Note - No he wont)

15 Jun 2017 20:01:08
Was thinking that myself. He does have some pace on him and the goals sounds like a good one with the way it was described. I hope he can crack on under Caxhina as well as a few others but we will have to wait and see. We have not signed a back up right back or starter. Has Hodson been involved in pre-season at all or is he injured. Maybe he has been told to go and O'Halloran will be a make shift right back/ right wing back.

{Ed039's Note - Hodson was on international duty until a couple of days ago - O'Halloran is a terrible winger, how anybody can think he can do a job at right back against SPFL or European teams is beyond me)

15 Jun 2017 20:14:35
I think you are right Neil. a plank of wood would do better job.

15 Jun 2017 20:35:29
By all accounts O'Halloran played at right back in this afternoon's friendly against Colleraine, don't know how he played though

15 Jun 2017 20:51:48
Can't see Hodson, Kiernan or Crooks at pre season training. Anybody know where they are. We know where Forrester and Garner are.

15 Jun 2017 20:59:45
Yes played 45 mins at right back today against Colraine. Cannot see this working, only time saw him attempt a tackle last season he was sent off against Motherwell. Better we use him as makeweight to get someone in.

15 Jun 2017 21:04:59
O halloran is cack, bye bye

15 Jun 2017 20:23:24
careful being so emphatic ed039

{Ed039's Note - he is rotten)

15 Jun 2017 21:47:37
As Ed says Hodson has just come back from international duty, Crooks and Danny Wilson are injured, Kiernan has disappeared completely (paid off on the quiet maybe? ), no sign of Candeias training or playing today so maybe he's injured?

{Ed039's Note - Candeias only joined recently. I would imagine he has had some things to tie up back home)

15 Jun 2017 21:47:46
He is rank rotten. If we can get him involved in a swap deal for somebody like Walker it'll be brilliant business

16 Jun 2017 13:02:59
Dont see the need for it, We have Tav, Hodson will move on and i'd expect to us sign a full back whether its to play first team or be a squad player

15 Jun 2017 19:19:17
I thought there would be something signed today or at least some news but nothing. Euro deadline is on Monday I think.

I think there's a possibility the Mexicans and Dorrans will not be included, Pena and Herrera are in Mexico 🇲🇽 and Dorrans is still in Vegas!

Unless we have a whirlwind few days, then factually they'll no be included for this round. But like I said I expected a flurry of activity before the deadline. Could still happen but we're cutting it fine or we're going to have a crazy 😜 few days.
I honestly don't know what will happen?

{Ed039's Note - The deadline for naming your squad really is irelevant, you can leave 2 free spaces in the squad for late additions at this stage of the season and they can be added to the squad either 24 or 48 hours prior to kick off)

15 Jun 2017 19:52:15
Fair enough Ed, I stand corrected, thanks for the info I didn't know that, although i still expected a wee bit more activity this week, considering all our targets. But I'm totally inpatient, and just want to see our targets paraded at Ibrox lol 😂

{Ed039's Note - The other deals are more complicated as 3 of them cant work in UK without a valid work permit - the other we cant get over the line as we wont meet Norwich valuation of Dorrans)

15 Jun 2017 19:15:33
Is the abella deal off, or was this just speculation. I don't trust tavernier as right back and we could do with improvement.

{Ed039's Note - There was never anything concrete happening there, the gaffer likes Tavernier as well and to be fair he played better under Caixinha - then again that wouldn't be hard)

15 Jun 2017 20:58:41
His defensive positioning and awareness is terrible though. Going forward he is a weapon but to challenge celtic and make progress in europe he needs to improve this. Love the signings so far so can't really complain i guess. Only mid june so still time as well

15 Jun 2017 17:58:54
Just seen Doncaster and regan talking about £1 contracts when asked about it both were flustered and just ranting gibberish. Honestly they have got to be the most incompetent leaders of any business on the planet an absolute joke the pair of them!

15 Jun 2017 17:48:16
Good to see Niko back on the pitch in a friendly win today. still carrying a bit of beef tho

15 Jun 2017New image uploaded to the Rangers Player Sightings page entitled, A wee walk around Ibrox

15 Jun 2017 20:06:10
Is this Morelos?

{Ed039's Note - To be honest I think all 3 of them are members of Rangers media team)

15 Jun 2017 20:16:58
Thanks Ed039.

15 Jun 2017 16:04:52
I've got a feeling we are going to play a 3-5-2 next season Bruno with cordoso and Wilson either side of him tablv and Wallace wing backs the rest is anyone guess with the number of players we have for they positions
I definitely think miller will see less playing time this year but can't ask for a better stand in.

15 Jun 2017 15:36:06
Pc says he's wanting a trim squad, so having brought in 5/ 6 players and hopefully the 2 Mexicans will bring it to 8, then if he somehow manages to free up wages from the likes of waggy, Halliday, kiernan and the rest now here me out. If big Bruno has a word in Nani's ear about coming to ibrox, and try persuading him, then the wages that r free from getting rid of them (if we can) could possibly go to 1 big marquee signing like him. Probably wishful thinking but a very very small possibility.

15 Jun 2017 16:20:08
If we could sign a marquee signing, Nani would be nearer the bottom of my list. For the wages he would demand, he'd be a waste of money.

15 Jun 2017 16:29:13
Would hardly be a waste of money, would put sinclair (who has been a great signing for them) to shame. He is a class above him, doubt it will happen tho.

15 Jun 2017 16:31:08
I'm only going by names that are getting flung about, and of those names Nani is by far the biggest and would be an incredible coup

15 Jun 2017 18:35:19
Do you not think the players who get the boot will fund the wages for the new signings wages? Nani is a money grabber, he'll end up in China

15 Jun 2017 15:05:56
Would love iy if the new Away Top could incorporate the Blue Star we see the squad wearing in the black and white photo. Could have the RFC Crest inside it in white or a different shade of Blue if rules state it has to be on the top. Always thought that it would be an excellent idea, really itching to see what the new kit will look like AND hoping that King announces a change to the deal meaning we can buy it!
Any particular top from the past any other Bears would like to see our new kit resemble?

15 Jun 2017 16:01:40
1996 - 9 in a row adidas strip. Best one we've had in my opinion.

15 Jun 2017 16:27:32
2004/ 05 Away. the Sash shirt (blue and red diagonal stripe)

15 Jun 2017 17:55:31
My personal favourite is the 2002 - 2003 treble winning strip

15 Jun 2017 20:22:36
1992 addidas, stripes on shoulder

treble season, undefeated in europe

'invincibles' lost 7-0.

15 Jun 2017 14:48:50
What date do we need to register the squad for the first round of Europa?

15 Jun 2017 14:56:19
19th 0f this month I'm sure

15 Jun 2017 16:32:15
We need to get Dorrans and the mexicans over the line ASAP then!

15 Jun 2017 11:07:22
so many fans saying Walker isn't a good player and he won't improve the squad. total rubbish he is a quality player who knows the scottish game and is only just turning 24, i will put money on the fact if were able to secure his services for this season he will be absolutely incredible for us, will assist a lot and score a good number. I reckon he will be a star man for us. Personally i'd offer £500,000 + MOH.

15 Jun 2017 11:29:14
I agree buddy. to think Halliday is meant to be play the same position as Walker, massive difference in quality IMO.

15 Jun 2017 11:38:14
He is definitely good enough for the league games, and is better than the squad players that we have but I reckon for first team we should aim higher and hopefully have that with the signings we have already brought in. But if walker was a back up, that would show good depth in the team and i'd be happy with that! Plus with right coaching he will develop and who know could end up being a good player.

15 Jun 2017 13:13:55
Walker definitely doesn't play the same position as Halliday. Walker is an attacking midfielder/ wide player. Probably best in the 10 role

15 Jun 2017 13:19:18
The difference between the foreigners and Walker/ Dorrans is length of contract left and desire to leave. Why offer full ask at first when it's common knowledge the player wants to leave or will leave for nothing next summer. Wasn't the same with some of the foreigners and so we had to meet the asking why price. Absolute business practise.

15 Jun 2017 13:38:22
Fraser. Halliday is a wide player, Warburton tried to turn him into a centre mid but that is not his natural position.

15 Jun 2017 13:55:38
Halliday was brought in to play as an attacking midfielder but has been playing defensive/ centre mid for the majority

15 Jun 2017 15:32:33
I know that Barry had a disappointing Season but Forest making a bid of 500k is far too low.

15 Jun 2017 09:39:55
If wee can afford the deals for the mexican players then surley the board should stop mucking about and give norwich and hearts the money they want for the players and stop messing about this would give pedro plenty time in training with them to be ready for euro qualifers

15 Jun 2017 09:55:21
Yes, great idea, give every team that has a player we would like whatever value they want to put on him, BONKERS

15 Jun 2017 10:31:49
If we went to hearts with a £1m+ bid I can guarantee hearts would say they were looking for £2/ 3m so we are doing the right thing

15 Jun 2017 11:00:54
They're not "mucking about", they're negotiating a better deal for the club rather than throwing money away. The club have done and are doing a lot of business early in the window. Have patience.

15 Jun 2017 12:32:59
Craig, I hope you leave your finances up to the misses if you think like that!

15 Jun 2017 09:07:33
I wonder if your still allowed to put in transfer request, if so Dorrans and walker should do it. Like Barry did at Blackburn.

That might be a tad extreme but it would certainly strengthen our hand 🤚.

Although I think Walker doesn't need to because he's in his last year and said he's not playing for hearts next year.

Dorrans has 2 years however and if he really wants to go then, it might work.
People that know transfers and signings way better than me say- the power is with the player rather than the club.

Just a thought lol 😂.

15 Jun 2017 12:49:24
Hi Jes,

There is no need for Dorrans to put in request.
Norwich are happy for him to go they are just not open to being mugged off. They also know we are in a hurry to get people in and although they are trying to trim their wage bill they have until end of August.

15 Jun 2017 08:02:54
I think hearts valuation of jamie walker is slightly on the high side £1m for a guy in final year of his contract . graham dorrans an established championship player and played in EPL and internationalist is going for just over the £1m so what makes hearts think they can ask for same . i would tell them to stuff it . sick of scottish teams trying to hold us to ransom just wait till january and get him on a pre contract that's what i would do.

15 Jun 2017 10:09:10
Been happening for decades, even when we are clearly still trying to build up the team/ business, we are still seen as sugar daddies to the rest.
They will state we are bankrupt but put their hands out quickly enough

15 Jun 2017 07:50:42
Does anyone else take their kid to Ibrox? . Had my eleven year old daughter at the last old firm game as nd the language out of grown men was absolutely shocking. Now she doesn't want to go back. I hope we can get back to singing decent songs and have a family atmosphere.

15 Jun 2017 08:43:55
Sit in the family section, should hopefully be more fitting for a young family.
It is a sport followed by the masses - and unfortunately the masses in Scotland use colourful language.

As for the songs, there is hardly any songs sung at Ibrox in any case - but they have always (songs about players aside) been a bit on the sweary/ sectarian side and I think the current gulf in class between the two clubs only makes the anger worse - in turn making lips become looser.

15 Jun 2017 08:50:25
Its football of course their will be colourfull language what did you expect . if you want a nice quiet day out maybe try the zoo next time

15 Jun 2017 09:30:42
Family section sounds right for you.

15 Jun 2017 10:03:14
I take my daughter, but I avoid the old firm games, don't want her hearing the nonsense that comes from some fans, she's happy in the family section watching with other kids around her.

15 Jun 2017 11:21:58
Family section at an old firm game?

15 Jun 2017 11:27:49
When has Ibrox ever been a family atmosphere? Go and support Partick Thistle or Queens park or better still watch American Football.

15 Jun 2017 11:29:39
To be fair its not ideal taking her to an old firm game if your trying to avoid bad language. Does the family stand not make a difference?

15 Jun 2017 11:31:34
When did we ever sing decent songs?
I am in my 60s it has always been aggressive sectarian songs and profanity.
So I don't get what you mean by get back to. decent songs and family atmosphere.

15 Jun 2017 11:51:21
My dad took me to games I take my kids after 7 years, that's 2 of my 3. My eldest daughter is also 11 going on 25 and son 8 they have already heard all the language at school and from my wife :) when she's mad at me.

15 Jun 2017 12:54:50
I think a few people on here need to rethink their attitude.
2 of you have suggested this guy doesn't take his kids to Ibrox?
That's a great way to treat a fellow fans family. Where is the respect?
Where are our futture supporters suppose to come from?

15 Jun 2017 13:00:21
Sit in the family section or in the club deck.

15 Jun 2017 05:27:59
I was very, very quietly confident on the signing of Dorrans. And also believed that's what this new look Rangers needed to have the right blend. Not to mention he's a quality player.

I'm not so confident now, seems Rangers have one valuation for him and Norwich have another. And I can't see coming to agreement.

The bid put in on Tuesday was to low, and Norwich had every right to refuse- less than 1 million, payed in instalments, not enough tbf.

I think all that has done is alerted all the English teams as to his availability and there going to pay the 1.2 to 1.5 million no problem. As they know there getting a bargain. I wish we would do the same.
This is not like the old days of wasting money- as I believe he's worth every penny and more.

Supposedly there's meant to be a 3rd bid to go in. I don't there's even going to 3rd bid, Even if true I still think Rangers will be to not near enough. I think we're going to loose this one for messing around.

I think I'm going to just have to forget that one, which is the one I wanted most.

15 Jun 2017 07:06:23
What a negative post! Are you privvy to how the negotiations are going? I think we'll get Dorrans given what Pedro has already achieved but as I've said before, one man doesn't make a team.

15 Jun 2017 07:49:06
Dorrans is coming 100%, we're the only option he's considered and will consider. He's made his money playing at a high level for the last 6-8 years.

Our fans are murder with things like this, I still can't believe how much business we've got done and how many players were going to get in.

15 Jun 2017 08:06:11
Confident that we will get Dorrans. Heard we have raised ou bid for Walker to £650k! I really hope we do not go any higher. I absolutely think if they hold us to ransom we should come back in 6 months! At the end of the day is Walker the difference between us qualifying to the Group Stages? I would like to see him arrive but the tarts should be taught a lesson and lose out on a good offer imo! Let them develop the lad for 6 months then offer them £150-200k. Money grabbing B#@#@rds!
Feel strongly about this and also think we have a strong enough squad that we can wait and that includes McKay going.

15 Jun 2017 08:56:53
Doiger, looking back on the post I does come across as wee bit negative 👎 I agree with you there, although I still think we're not getting Dorrans or probably more likely it's going to be long and protracted and Dorrans will have push this one through himself.

It's just a feeling I have, not privy to anything and have no sources or ever claim to have a source.
Well except a friend who says his uncle knows stuff, but that's hardly a source- more like second hand BS lol

But thinking about it- I reckon I have turned greedy and spoilt because of all the signings so far lol 😂

15 Jun 2017 09:24:31
You are right Jeseca. I can't believe what has happened with all these signings and they look class, unlike Warburton's misfits. I really do believe that we can win the title next season if the remaining targets sign. We've even got a new Director of Football. On a smug note, Scott Allan is off to. Dundee on loan! Serves him right. Finally, I hope Mackay stays to see if he flourishes with the other players around him.

15 Jun 2017 11:25:39
Bidding for a player is one thing getting hom is another. Dorans has already indicated he wants to go to Rangers. Only silly money will tempt him to sign for another Championship club. We will get out man no fears.

15 Jun 2017 11:31:08
The sun are saying we have had two bids rejected. £400k

15 Jun 2017 02:07:12
Does anybody know how many players make up the Squad we have to admit for the Europa Cup?

15 Jun 2017 11:40:53
25 players pal. 2 goalkeepers (minimum)
8 locally trained players (trained with the club between the ages of 15 and 21)
