Heard within the last hour there, that eintract frankfurt very interested in signing alfredo morelos. No fee mentioned yet, but they've just sold another one of their striker's seb haller, to west ham for £45million. Will be keeping an eye on this one fellow bears.

My source is someone who used to work at ibrox for many years. Why can people on here not participate in what is a rumours page where we can share info with fellow bears. I read nothing about eintract frankfurt in the DR or any other newspaper for that matter. Instead of constantly criticising fellow bears be happy or grateful the some are willing to share on here rumours they've heard.
Everything is a rumour until confirmed true or false.

The interesting and entertaining thing about coming on to this site is the opinions and rumours. Many opinions I don't agree with, many of the rumours I don't believe. But I come on several times a day regardless. It is a great fun and at the end of the day, we are all bluenoses who want nothing more than to reach 55 and shut that mob up! So, for me, keep the opinions and rumours coming, however accurate or nefarious!

Wee bear, think 20m bit low. If tic want and get upwards 30m for Tierney, a so called international for nobody against Morelos, an international in top twenty world side. Personally believe tic scared to sell and will eventually price themselves out. But if Morelos goes EPL side or if bidding war starts, starting discussions might be 30m looking optimistically at 40m.

He needs another good season and a better disciplinary record and then a bidding joust is possible, however my opinion is that there will be no bidding war, maybe one or two tentative offers, under contract and still a young, developing player can only stand our club in good stead, personally I think he’ll be with us another season at least I just hope it’s his best yet 👍🏼.

Got a strong feeling now kent won't be back True Blue. We just have to move on and thank him and remember he was fantastic for us, in his year long loan deal, last season. Would have loved him back permanently and if not that at least another season long loan deal. But we have players currently in our squad to cover ryan kent's position. Still very confident we'll have a very good season and still do well without him. I however wish ryan kent all the very best of luck for the future and really do hope the wee man gets his chance and can make it at liverpool! We will all remember his 2 fantastic performances against celtic. He tore them apart and ripped lustig a new a**e. 😂😂.

SGL - disappointed that a permanent deal not done but £12,000,000.00 is far too much, and a £1,000,000.00 for a season is far too much - however he never ever stated that he wanted to come back - his silence was deafening. But still think that what we have shown so far that we do not need him and will not miss him. However I wish him the very best wherever he ends up.

Steven Gerrard loyal, your feeling about Kent not coming back is spot on, Kent will be a Leeds Unt player this coming season, and it will be a loan with the opportunity to buy, this comes from high up at Leeds, I was hoping he was coming back up the road, however its just not happening.

In my humble opinion I think we have a better balance on the flanks both left and right than last season RK was a joy to watch when he was on his game but I think we look better and more threatening now than ww have in a long long time. oh and I did hear villa still keen on RK permanently good luck to young man.

Buzultra, i obviously agree with you that i now have a strong feeling that ryan kent won't be back at rangers for the coming season. Having said that i totally differ from you,
when you state that kent will sign for leeds utd on a loan deal, with the opportunity to buy after the loan deal. If he signs for leeds utd,
it will be a permanent deal from the offset and not a loan deal. If kent is going out on loan again then he's without doubt coming back to rangers mate. If liverpool do decide to cash in on kent, then of course that rules us out. Remember gerrard has an agreement in place with liverpool,
that if they send him out on loan again, rangers have first option,
which of course we'll take.

What amuses me is the way the press go on about it. Everyone knew early on that he was going to the US, was going to be assessed over pre season. But the press. rangers made to wait as Kent heads to US, rangers made to wait as he's on the plane, rangers made to wait as he is taking an extra long jobby. I don't think we need him and the sooner #announcekent stops the better.

Yes I know it was a friendly but Wow, just wow! How is the manager going to pick a team from this squad? I've heard some on here refer to Candeiaas as not good enough. Thought he was superb and the second goal was a world class finish against a 19 million pound defender. Best squad in a long time and am now buzzing for the league to start. They must be worried over at breezeblock boulevard, they really must be.

Your not having a great pre season yourselves drawing with Rennes who finished 10th and 5 places below Marseille last season. Marseille have added to that team last year they had over €150m worth of players on show and we ran over them. The fact they had 90mins in their legs after playing Accrington just makes 4-0 more impressive.

Nothing against the great football club that is newcastle utd, but i hope nothing but bad times for mike ashley. That guy cares about nobody whatsoever. Its all me, me, me with him. His time is coming. He's trying his best to still meddle with us and he's absolutely wasting a fantastic football club, in newcastle utd. I really do feel so sorry for "the toon army"! I've got all my friendly tickets and europa league qualifier ticket but not my new season ticket smart card yet. In fact none of us who go together to ibrox have our new smart cards yet. I have however been told on good authority, that they will all be sent out, before our first home league game, against the hivees on saturday the 10th of august. Have been told the new system is like a pin card you put into a machine, which in turn enters you through the turnstile. Have been also told our new updated system is much the same as that other mobs, from the eastend.

Funny Souness I watched a few live games last season . especially one from Europe which led us to qualification of Europa group And we played with nine men and was wirth it’s weight in gold . If subscribing means rangers are getting the cash then I am all for it .

He's worth more than 5mil john but not as much as 20mil. I don't hate morelos, I don't want rid of him and I'm not a tim lol. Defoe is twice the player morelos is and if we get 12-15mil including add ons and a sell on % then that would be great business. Defoe plays before morelos all day long. I bet these are the same fans that thought mckay was a 6mil player or windass was a 15mil player. Who's going to score our goals if windass goes or morelos goes. We coped fine without both, infact we went on our best run of dominating wins since pre admin without morelos, scoring 14 and conceding 1. Open your eyes. For the avoidance of doubt, I like morelos but he isn't better than defoe, he isn't worth 20mil and we wouldn't miss him.

Defoe is the better striker but can't last forever.

Just like you guys above, i also rate and like alfredo morelos but reckon we're a better team and more potent,
with jermain defoe up front. Of course we would survive and prosper if we sold morelos and anyone thinking we wouldn't should take their head out of the sand. We always survive and move on, as there's no player bigger than glasgow rangers.
I would honestly sell/ value morelos at anything between £12-£15million with a sell on clause and add ons. I truly think that's a very realistic and fair price for him.

It looks like SG now has a well balanced settled side ALL aiming to do well, with those on the fringes being moved on. In saying that however, the Kent saga rumbles on - IMO I think it is now becoming embarrassing, we should not be waiting for one player for so long, especially one that doesn't seem to want to join us. I now do not think that we need him, and if Liverpool come calling we take him on our terms, not theirs.

Fergie - we did not know that it was going to be later. We found out after he went back to Liverpool that they wanted to sell him, for £12 million, which they still do. Then we found out that they wanted a £1 million pound for his loan services. Then we found out they would have a look at him during the summer. It should also be remembered SG has been in long discussions about him to no avail. The season ended in May and it is now mid July - if Liverpool do not know about a player that they have had since he was 7 or 8 years old then they never will.

Quite frankly we have a squad to die for now, in comparison to anything we have had in years. Club is now pretty much debt free now too after the soft loans were turned into shares. Also club is now managing to pay its way.
oh and in the latest world ratings in the daily rhebel we are 10 places ahead of the local opposition. not bad eh.

Fergie - I am not trying to have a pop at you or our club. SG has admitted that he wants Kent. SG has admitted that he has held talks to try and get him on loan - at £1 million per loan season! SG has said we cannot afford to buy him. SG has not heard back from Liverpool as to what they will be doing with him. Liverpool have stated that they want to sell him - that did not happen. Kent has been with Liverpool for 15 years - he is now 22 and will be 23 on 11th November 2019. Surely, Liverpool who are a massive club and have a huge backroom staff, detailing and measuring every aspect of a players life know what they have or not in Kent? And Rangers who are also a massive club should not be waiting on one player, Kent or otherwise, and by the looks of our new balanced side we really don't need him.

A couple of journalists going a bit over the top about our "huge" fee of 3.5 million for Helander on the same day it's reported Leicester are paying 45 million for a centre back Lewis Dunk from Brighton a player I've never heard of. Talk about parallel universes.

Brill result yesterday. Some excellent performances.
I was listening to SG post match interview, where he speaks about signing filip. Quote he stated that he will bring balance to our team, being left footed and could form part of a 3 at the back.
Now my point is the last time we tried three at the back was against Motherwell, Motherwell overran us. SG had to ditch this and revert back to a standard back 4 in the second half of that game. I'm sure we dropped 2 points that game.
So what I'm saying is that if his plan is on occasions to play with a back 3, then why are we not practicing this formation in these meanless friendlies. Ie one half a 4 and second half a 3.
This would allow our players to be more prepared to play each system.
Yes I'm like every other fan and loved yesterdays result and the one against Oxford ect but imo these pre season friendlies should be about more than just bedding in new players and appeasing the fans. Imo SG should be trying different systems and styles of play in these games. Having watched the French game again, they didn't care about the result, they where more about what worked and what didn't work. If you get a chance to watch it again. They changed their formation on at least 3 occasions.
I get building momentum, confidence and clean sheets keeping the fans happy ect but we should be using these games to better prepare our players for a long season ahead.
I have never seen it done before but I would even put our players down to 10 men for a period of 15 min in at least one of these friendlies.

They changed there formation 3 times because they could not get the ball. We over ran them everywhere. A team there size do not go into any games not caring about the score.

Guys I'm not saying SG is not doing well but there will be games this season, when we are not playing so well and we need to grind out a results esp in away ties in Europe. For example 3 nil up yesterday, The last 20 min playing 3 at the back I think would have been a good option to try in a real game not the training ground.

Stewatyyblue - I agree in a sense that tactics need to practiced in game against opponents so that players can adapt etc but they do initially need to be practiced, analysed and learned on the training pitch prior to this. Modern football training methods are that the training is split into sections and one of these sections is Team shape. Training nowadays in football is all centered around tactics and philosophies.
I would happily have us play the current formation/ shape consistently and have the 3 at the back up our sleeve if we are really needing it but the players are comfortable and suit the current tactic so I don't think you will see an awful lot of the 3 at the back.

Yesterday was really impressive from every player that was involved. I am really optimistic about the season ahead.
I'm a big fan of Candeias. It's mainly because of his work rate that I like him. He covers a lot for Tav when he pushes forward but yesterday we seen composure from him in the final third which we haven't always seen. As much as a fan of Candy that I am I can see why his place is under threat from Ojo. Or maybe it isn't under threat, it's already gone to Ojo. Ojo has impressed me with his work rate too. His desire to fight for every ball and get stuck in for the team have been evident in what we've seen so far. he's young and hungry to impress and the team will be better when he plays. He appears to have the correct attitude and I think he will play himself into a big move down south. If we benefit the way we did with Kent last year for one season then we've got to be happy with that.
All incoming transfers look the part and the fans are buzzing to get the season underway. The scouting and transfer guys along with Gerrard obviously have to be given a lot of credit. We've brought 8 good players in for less than 5 million. That's great business. If we were to put all 8 up for sale right now we'd probably get over 20 million plus. Not that we should do that but it shows the forward thinking that has been applied. This is where Celtic have out thought us in years gone by so I'm delighted we are signing players who's value instantly increases the minute they sign.
