Aberdeen knock 7 past Motherwell if only we could score 7 in 3 games we really need sorting out from board, management down and soon as I think if we don't pick our game up we won't be near 2nd.

16 Feb 2017 09:34:58
If we don't get an experienced manager now we won't finish 2nd are 3rd. Murty is not the answer.

16 Feb 2017 12:48:09
Who cares Hooly? We need the right long term project in place rather than rushing to keep impatient fans happy!

16 Feb 2017 13:55:21
This team will finish 2nd no matter who is in charge.

16 Feb 2017 15:28:44
I hope we do finish 2nd but by going by the results we've had of late we've no chance. Rfcinfinty of course we need the right long term project in place but I think bring in experience manager to get us 2nd and start looking in summer for the right manager for long term project. Who do you want rangers to bring rfcinfinty

16 Feb 2017 19:02:19
Honestly, I don't know! Due to financial restraints I'd be happy with any manager that's proven at a decent level but would rather it not be Eck, Ferguson (Barry), Davies or McInnes!

15 Feb 2017 21:35:35
Anyone else think it's a tad pot calling the kettle black from MW given the way he handled the Barton incident?

15 Feb 2017 22:22:59
The guy clearly has limited man management skills and additionally didn't know how to give a rollicking to non performers. The sad fact of life is that the guy was playing Football Manager with a real live team.

16 Feb 2017 00:43:58
Warburton and co. are playing games right now after being advised to do so. Rangers will have been advised to say nothing and respond to nothing and Warburtons camp already know this. For me it's clear that Warburton did indeed chase another job, otherwise he would have made clear in his statement that they never approached any club whilst being employed by Rangers as well as not offering a deal or a resignation. He didn't do that, that's suspicious.

16 Feb 2017 06:42:10
If rangers have been advised to say nothing did king forget this when he released his statement?

16 Feb 2017 09:41:00
He will have been advised certainly after the statement, very possibly never took advise before. I would like to think they have been advised throughout and have enough evidence for taking the action they have.

We are about to find out. If they did not then the whole thing is unforgivable

16 Feb 2017 10:24:24
There's nothing wrong or illegal to look for other jobs.

16 Feb 2017 11:03:01
@memaself - and there is nothing wrong or illegal about voicing an opinion on someone either. Plenty on here have questioned MW's ability.

16 Feb 2017 12:37:10
Onionjack, you can't see the difference in some random nobody on here having a pop at mw, to the guy's direct superior and owner of the company doing it through the media?

15 Feb 2017 20:53:59
Would love to see Michael Laudrup with Gio Van Bronkhurst in the dug out and forget about a Director of Football.? .

15 Feb 2017 21:09:51
never happen only in your dreams, king will take the cheap option with eck till the end of the season then play us along with the season ticket money, anyone thinks different is living in noddyland, hope i am wrong but can't see it happening

16 Feb 2017 00:02:56
The cheap option would be murty.

16 Feb 2017 09:21:10
I'll tell you why it won't be graeme murty, Dave king and the board have season tickets to sell and that's why i can't see it being murty! I'm not for one second here, having a go or slating murty! He's obviously a very capable coach and well appreciated around murray park!

16 Feb 2017 09:49:30
I can't see us bringing anyone in at this stage of the season either cee, I think murty will be in charge till the end of the season.

15 Feb 2017 19:51:31
So much for the dignified silence from ex manager and his colleagues.

15 Feb 2017 20:15:00
Would you not stand up for yourself if your ex employers were telling porkies, allegedly?

15 Feb 2017 21:12:18
were you privy to the conversation with the agent to know the club is lying, don't think so pal, wait til it all pans out then we can comment

15 Feb 2017 22:24:33
I suspect that this will all end up in a settlement long before it goes to Court. In the event of a tribunal neither side will win.

15 Feb 2017 23:27:13
Hmmmm. Who to believe? An ex legend and a manager who for whatever his faults seems quite a decent guy OR a man proven to have lied under oath and called a 'glib and shameless liar' from a judge. It's a toughie this one

16 Feb 2017 06:50:12
I look at it this way Warburton said he never offered his resignation but Rangers have never actually came out and said it came directly from him. It came from his agent and seems to me as if it's all a play on words. Warburton wanted out and you could see that since before the Hearts game but he wanted money to leave and Rangers have found the loop hole and jumped at it.

This is all just my opinion but we can wait and see what happens.

16 Feb 2017 10:04:51
McParland was in London finding them work that is it! They wanted out long ago, their heart wasn't in it and that includes Davie Weir.

16 Feb 2017 10:55:16
1888
King was called a liar by a corrupt judge in a corrupt system
If the club legend you refer to is DW, not all of us hold him in that regard. I thought he was an average player for a short time and his employers took advantage when we were in the s***
Some I admit, do hold him in high esteem

16 Feb 2017 11:10:14
And that is why you would not want to be in front of a judge with Marty in the jury. Don't wait for the facts to come out, just use good, old fashioned prejudice.

15 Feb 2017 17:37:20
Go on DK get frank signed up and give him a little money to spend this summer then ill trust your serious about building rangers. Time is running out for DK i think soon you will see just how far DK is willing to go on rebuilding rangers will they be a shadow of what they were before? Or will DK push the boat out?

15 Feb 2017 17:49:34
Bad news wes, he said he has already pushed the boat out by overspending and they are now behind on next season plans. I can honestly see the board turning against him soon as to much talk and not enough action.

15 Feb 2017 22:28:14
I am still struggling to see what proportion of the monies invested by way of soft loans has been contributed by King. The Cynic in me would believe that if £18m has been invested, (and that has to excluded the share purchase, which is a separate issue), the Three Bears, the Far East Guys and the Rangers Support, has put significantly more into the Club than King has.

It would certainly be interesting to see the breakdown!

15 Feb 2017 16:44:09
Murty got balls he already changed formation slightly with 2 strikers. fair play to him. let's get back to 442.

15 Feb 2017 22:29:11
Encouraging start, but let's see whether he drops Senderos and Halliday after their hideously poor performances against Morton.

15 Feb 2017 16:38:48
Ok guys am throwing this out there. we are getting dof. so if were not gona get a top manager then we get the right dof and appoint barry ferguson as coach. he definitely got the passion and a true gers man.

15 Feb 2017 17:00:15
No chance in my opinion - I've got passion and I'm a Rangers man but that doesn't make me the right fit for the job.
I love Ferguson but he's not shown anything that suggests he should coach Rangers.

I think we need to take in a manager/ coach that has had some success and can handle a position with the amount of pressure that comes with being Gers manager.

If we don't start making serious progress with a view to challenging that crowd over the next couple of seasons I think ticket sales will start to go down etc

15 Feb 2017 15:16:12
I see WARBS has released a statement, nothing on that statement saying he didn't approach Nottingham. he says he didn't resign, but it would certainly seem he did look for alternative work, otherwise his approach would be a whole lot different to what it is.

Not entirely convinced Murty is the short term answer either, I hope he is.

15 Feb 2017 15:28:38
Surely he owes the fans some answers before he can demand answers himself!

15 Feb 2017 16:04:53
Even if he said he spoke with with Forest then that doesn't mean he resigned does it?

15 Feb 2017 16:08:19
They must be banking on their agent having made the resignation offer verbally, rather than it being written and submitted? Who knows?

The problem here will be how many people witnessed the agents offer and was it via a one to one phone call, or was it in person in front of a group? This hasn't been explained. There isn't this much smoke without fire, and there are too many glaring coincidences in conjunction with the Notts Forest job being available at this time.

The way I see it is, I wouldn't sound out my boss about going for an interview for another job, compromising my present employment, then tell them that I've been unsuccessful…so I'm just going to continue on until something else comes up. Sorry, this isn't about MW, DW and FM's careers, it's about Rangers and getting the best value for their money from employee's of the club. None of us would get away with this behaviour in our employment. They are playing daft, hoping for a payout when they were not 100% committed to the role.

Since MW appeared he has brought in 3rd rate English players all the while downplaying/ down valuing the Scottish Premiership due to us living in the shadow of the EPL. I can't hold it against him for having ambition to manage there one day, but these players were never fit to pull on the light blue jersey. Better value for money would have been found in Europe looking for talent than inflating the already inflated coffers down south.

15 Feb 2017 16:14:11
We've been looking for answers since King took over. Just a series of Traynor press releases. What chance has MW got in getting getting truth, when supporters are led up the garden path. We've no Manager but we a WOW factor DoF. Come on let's get real.

15 Feb 2017 16:23:14
I think that in Scotland a verbal contract or offer counts as an agreement. Not sure though, however, if there is proof that there was a verbal agreement then he would still be gone. Regardless, this is going to rumble on. Cannot wait for the day that we make back pages rather than front ones.

15 Feb 2017 18:50:18
Correct spoc, but it has to be ratified. In a one to one discussion you would require a witness to verify, an acceptance by the other party, a confirmation letter to the other party that is ignored, a taped recording or a minuted transcript.

15 Feb 2017 19:34:23
Does approaching another club about possible employment without rangers permission amount to breach of contract?
I certainly hope rangers have not cooked this one up. Am I hell renewing my season ticket year on year for directors to make Diddy decisions that we end up having to pay for.
Something stinks about this whole situation and I just hope rangers haven't screwed up.

16 Feb 2017 10:06:25
Josh windass will be a top player as will some of the others he has signed. It's his system that's failed up here.

15 Feb 2017 13:54:39
Serious question what has happened to jordan rossiter?

15 Feb 2017 14:39:46
Jordan Who?

15 Feb 2017 14:51:45
He has an issue with his spine that is causing pressure at the base of it, which then causes him severe pain in his legs. He is away down south currently to see a specialist about it. hopefully he'll get it sorted.

15 Feb 2017 15:23:29
The injury to Rossiter and also injuries to Kranjcar, Windass and Crooks are typical of the players signed by Warburton. Don't they have medicals before they sign? I accept Kranjcar's injury was unfortunate but he wasn't exactly 100% fit when he first signed. The whole set up needs to be cleaned out from coaching, training, fitness and scouting.

15 Feb 2017 17:24:22
I'd be very surprised if we see rossiter play more than a few matches in the future. The boy is a great player and captain of England under 21s so I wouldn't believe Liverpool would let him go that easy if there wasn't something terribly wrong or if they thought that there would be a good chance of him being fit in future

16 Feb 2017 10:06:44
Your actually blaming Warburton for players getting injured?

15 Feb 2017 12:49:51
Joe Dodoo seemed to put in a good performance for the u21 team v Dundee United, He was played through the middle of the front line. Good to see he's playing well at a level, hopefully confidence will grow and he can reach his potential.

15 Feb 2017 15:48:18
Hes not had a good run of first team action or I think he would have proved to be worth his place

15 Feb 2017 23:38:46
Play Dodoo up front with Garner and he will score goals

15 Feb 2017 08:14:12
Perhaps CEO choose the wrong word with the "WOW" factor?

Was not Warburton a "wow" factor on arrival?

Rather have an experienced manager who can fix something coming up from the "ashes" and knows Scottish football?

Surely "We have to walk before we can run"?

15 Feb 2017 13:49:31
There is no more time for walking, we have been doing that for 5 years and in some instances backwards.

Is time to raise the standards, the demands and the quality.

15 Feb 2017 08:00:17
Does Felix Magrath not have 1 million ££ invested in Rangers?
Would he not take on the director of football or managers job?

15 Feb 2017 14:05:18
Think he wanted to at one point but not sure what happened there.

15 Feb 2017 07:40:30
All this hype for De Boers I don't get it think we need to get someone with far more managerial experience for a club that's in transition as we heard we have only just layed foundations so we need experience. Billy Davies is someone I didn't want but looking how he improved other clubs he could be a good fit. Nearly All managers get the sack eventually so can't read into that to much.

15 Feb 2017 08:16:26
Aye, go for the guy that had a breakdown at his last job, media blackout and all that? or are we just going to forget that ever happened?

15 Feb 2017 13:52:45
De Boer turned Ajax around when they were on a downward spiral. He is more than qualified on several accounts.

Whether we get or go for him is another matter.
