You would think Celtic won tonight. They were in Europe through the back door and once again on the footballing side have failed, just like they did with Sion. Did Udinese field any ineligible players tonight?

What back door was that?Every court has backed UEFA nothing to do with sceptic,grow up and admit if it was us we would have been proud of the Gers doing that in that group.I take it you are 15 or 16 and a bitter little boy who cant accept that they had a better euro campaign than us.Why spout sh1te like this?

Calm down AngryJim. It's nearly Christmas. Granted there are folk on this site (and many others) that will see everything their team does through rose tinted glasses and only see the worst in their rivals, but its only a banter page. I would have thought someone with your "intelligence" would be able to rise above any dross comments.

Jim to be fair I think the guys point is that Celtic were beaten on the night. Yes Sion broke the rules and so were put out. Does anyone actually know when the final ruling will come on Sion? That guy Constatin is a complete headcase last I heard he was sueing the SFA, French, Italian and Spanish Football Associations.

What against Brown who is a liability, Ki cannot tackle and Kayal will move out the way if Edu shoots.

Going back to the Edu debate. The problem with Edu for me is the fact he cannot take the ball in close situations as he doesn't control the ball well enough. He also can't tackle. He does however get about the park well enough and intercepts play very well. however for us to pay the money we did for him you would have hoped we would have a more valuable asset after 3 years progression.

That pretty much is the perfect analysis of Edu!

Any person with sight would see that Edu is one of the best tacklers in the team and is a tough player so no that doesn't pretty much sum Edu up

A better tackler than kevin thomson?

Thompson was a great wee player but injured alot and as for his tackling he was alright but used to miss the ball often

I think we got a edu at a fair value, not a steal but fair value.. You dont get much for 2.6 million you know.. and we paid more for mcculloch who was much older ! He should make more runs i think, quick enough and he doesnt shoot enough..

Thomson was hopeless. He might as well have been booked in the tunnel before every game. A prize turnip.

If 2.6 million is fair value for edu then, what is he worth now? and what should he be worth after being given the platform that he has been

I'm a better tackler than Kevin Thomson he always slid in about 5 minutes too late.

The only reason edu is with us is because of his fitness.There are thousands of players with his technical ability. The janny used to give you a kick in the hole for having as many touches on the ball.

Edu is without doubt a player of limited technical ability, however, if he were played correctly by a Manager which I would assess as Defensive Midfielder ONLY; protecting the Back, and breaking up the oppositions midfield/attack he would be amazing. There is too much emphasis on him going forward with the ball at his feet, which TBH he cannot do. He should be breaking the play up, and instantly looking for a Davis, Naisy (When Fit) or back the way to build again.

Just a reply to FF comment about deducting points for singing, the main problem way that is what stops fans from Celtic going into the rangers end and sing songs so we get deducted points or vice verca?

No the main problem is the spl is run by the clubs why would rangers or celtic agree to points being taking off
