I see some people wanting safe standing area . i'm all for safe standing but not in the Copland front . keep the union bears at the other end next to away fans.

15 Aug 2017 22:06:54
Surely it would be the enclosures that got made to safe standing

16 Aug 2017 09:37:53
No thanks am happy sitting where I am keep the union bears where they are

16 Aug 2017 14:17:54
if it means we get more tickets sold i don't care where they put it

15 Aug 2017 20:21:52
Garner n waghorn scoring for fun at ipswich lol.

15 Aug 2017 20:30:13
In a stronger league than ours too. Does make you wonder what they could have done played correctly

15 Aug 2017 20:43:27
Ipswich aren't playing against teams who make playing us their cup final! The games are far more open! Best of luck to them but let's move on and get behind our strikers

15 Aug 2017 20:49:24
But they wernt scoring for fun at Rangers or they would still be there. Couple of good guys but just didn't work out . They got plenty of changes to be fair

15 Aug 2017 21:52:21
The Championship is wildly overrated. Actually watch some of the games and you will see that. Don't buy into that whole nonsense about it being streets ahead of SPL.

The pressure at Ipswich is nothing compared to Ibrox but well done to them regardless, never good enough for us.

15 Aug 2017 22:20:06
Waghorn was through one one with keeper on a lot of occasions with us and couldn't finish so we can't rewrite history he wasn't good enough to play for us or he would still be here.

15 Aug 2017 22:40:07
I'm not a fan of Mick McCarthy but maybe Waghorn and Garner playing well may have something to do with the manager.

McCoist, McDowall, McCall, Warburton, Murty and now Caixinha.

Mick McCarthy has more experience and knowledge of management than all six of these managers combined.

I always support the man in charge of the first team, but could you imagine if we got a decent experienced manager who is able to get the best out of players and play to their strengths?

Could you imagine someone like Mark Hughes, Tony Pulis, Sam Allardyce, Harry Redknapp, Alan Pardew, Steve Bruce.

You can debate the success rate of these managers and whether they'd suit the club or not but you can't argue they all have experience and would be realistic IMO.

We are Glasgow Rangers after all.

15 Aug 2017 22:52:33
played correctly . waggy. really?

how exactly did we play waggy incorrectly? he got plenty starts and lots of support from midfield and full backs bombing on to help provide chances which he missed week in week out once he stepped up to SPL. championship was his level where btw loads of his goals were pens but once in SPL he was found out - sorry it's true

ok maybe we didn't always play to garner strengths in a 4-3-3 but waggy - sorry i'm not having that

weight of the jersey at rangers is just too much for some to bear - something players at Ipswich st johnstone &'the like won't ever experience waggy was one and if you ask me makay was another

15 Aug 2017 22:09:05
prob mainly because when they made a bad pass they had 5k fans booing and calling them for everything then coming onto websites like this and get told they are the worst players in the world and aren't worth 200k. i suppose that is a great comfidence booster for any player that wears the red white and blue. wee example of the rubbish some fans spout on here big wes doesn't come for a one cross against motherwell they score on here get him sold he isn't good enough he is rubbish he is not rangers class. why don't we support our players wee wake up its not going to happen guys gers play 40 games win 40 games player rating 10 out of 10 every game no mistakes net worth 10 million each. that's what some fans on here expect wise up guys support the team and player give them a lift when they are having a bad game

15 Aug 2017 23:39:47
Played correctly.

What I mean by that is having actual wingers (not forwards played put of position) in the team to create real, constant goal scoring opportunities. Not just half chances, and a decent couple of chances in a game.

The way we played under MW didn't allow Waghorn too many opportunities to showcase his ability and given that Candeias is the first real winger we've had in a good while, Waghorn might have benefited having the type of service Candeias provided for Morelos goal against Hibs.

16 Aug 2017 01:45:12
"Waghorn" and "Ability" There's two words I never thought I'd see in the same sentence. He put in the effort, no denying that, but not good enough for Rangers.

16 Aug 2017 07:51:51
Now that's a manager i like to see at the gers alan pardew

16 Aug 2017 14:22:17
sorry but I've never seen a striker miss soo many opertunities and he had hunners . loads of sitters one on one with the keeper and loads of other chances he skied into the top half of the stadium or put well well wide he couldn't do it in a rangers top never mind tactics or positioning he couldn't score whe he had the chance unless it was a nalty

16 Aug 2017 14:46:47
Let's just get behind "Our" manager players and coaches and we will get success. Doesn't happen overnight but a blind man can see improvements. C'MON THE RANGERS

15 Aug 2017 16:57:10
John Beaton and Craig Thomson dropped from Premiership matches after controversial weekend (daily record)

15 Aug 2017 18:45:03
They should be banned and never allowed to ref again

15 Aug 2017 23:03:11
What's even more controversial is admitting to reading the record

15 Aug 2017 23:34:14
Joelifish do you get the daily record in Vietnam mate? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

16 Aug 2017 00:39:30
Albertz, we have the Internet lol . my boss, who introduced me to rangers said I get information there because they are obsessed with Rangers. Are there better places to find out about the team?

16 Aug 2017 09:44:25
Try the Rangers website, more reliable information on there as they don't talk ๐Ÿ’ฉ to sell news papers.

16 Aug 2017 11:59:51
Good advice Albertz. Thank you.

15 Aug 2017 16:43:14
Afternoon fellow bears. I'm hoping the weekend's game will give us a kick up the backside to push in now. Anyone else worried about the fact we start like steam trains and then run out of gas pretty quickly? Or the fact Pedro didn't put on Rossiter for Miller when Jack was dismissed. Would have been a much better substitution. Would love to see a reaction against Hearts.

15 Aug 2017 17:20:09
i said exactly the same to my mate about us looking world beaters for the first twenty minutes against motherwell and hibs then the performance falling off. felt it was happening before the red card and something we need to watch out for.

15 Aug 2017 17:42:16
Excellent point about the substitution that should have happened and that highlights a worry about Pedro. If he's invested in Miller at any cost we've got problems.

15 Aug 2017 18:47:42
Good points guys, and certainly with hindsight getting Rossiter on and sacrificing an attacker immediately when Jack was dismissed would have been good call.

More importantly I am encouraged by the comments coming from Pedro today about the team being stronger and reacting positively to Saturday's result. Looking forward to Hearts game.

15 Aug 2017 22:14:20
To the inevitable disagrees, you lose a man, you shore up your defensive line which includes midfield. Last I checked we lost 3-2. Maybe you think we won.

16 Aug 2017 04:59:04
Maybe there is some politics at the club around miller or its his never say die attitude that keeps him on the pitch I dunno. A midfielder for miller was everyone elses choice i'd think.

16 Aug 2017 14:28:13
herrera for me is not a starter the guys record speaks for itself he is a travelling donkey who can't finish and as for what I've saw of him when he played he was worse than a man down so i wouldn't be picking him before miller that's for sure.
morelos 3 goals in two is a good return but he need to controll his temper a wee bit

17 Aug 2017 07:50:22
Personally, the change I would have made on Saturday and I said this at the time, would have been to remove both fullbacks, add Wilson and Rossiter and go 3-4-2. Candies does a decent job tracking back and Windass is getting better so I think that was the strongest change.

15 Aug 2017 12:22:38
Anyone think Danny Wilson should be given a shot at left back? Would be more solid defensively than Wallace or Hodson.

15 Aug 2017 12:40:38
He's suspect enough in his natural position

15 Aug 2017 12:41:45
Oooft simply naw!

15 Aug 2017 12:49:38
i don't see us signing anyone else this season including walker i think we have spent all the money that we are going to spend.

for me we need two fullbacks and a goalie wes for me isn't up to speed but i'd like to see mcgregor come back into the picture

15 Aug 2017 13:00:04
Are you mad! Square pegs in round holes do not work, Wallace has looked a lot better with Alves in the back 4

15 Aug 2017 13:17:53
For me it has to be Wallace and Wilson will only play at CB if we have injuries.

15 Aug 2017 15:20:33
If my memory serves me correctly--Did Danny Wilson not play left back for a while with liverpool as they thought he was too slight for a centre half in the premier league?

15 Aug 2017 15:41:00
I think we have spent all we are going to and trust me the figures being spoken of that we have spent are way off. Even if they included the add ons for league win and euro run they still inflated. Forget the 1M for Waggy also, it was still good business but what I hear it was closer to ยฃ300k

16 Aug 2017 10:41:22
as said Liverpool signed him to train as a left back

{Ed001's Note - no they did not sign him to play there, it was just a lack of left backs in the squad he was in, so he was tried out there. It was never the plan to play him there.}

15 Aug 2017 12:04:57
Is the jamie walker deal still on?

15 Aug 2017 15:41:35
Has the Walker deal ever been on? We have had 2 bids rejected only

15 Aug 2017 11:12:12
Hi fellow bears a heard a song at ibrox on Saturday from the broamloan it was quality a think of all of ibrox sung it think it would be brilliant and some atmosphere the song goes like this

Every Saturday we follow
We cheer the boys in blue
The most successful team in football
We're Scotland's gallant few

Though times have been hard
We've followed near and far
You will always hear us roaring
From the stands and ibrox park

Ohh ohh ohh ohh

Ed please post cause I believe this song at ibrox would be good if the whole of our fans where to sing this cause a lot of the fans don't no the words thanks

15 Aug 2017 11:23:28
Stay aff the glue sir.

15 Aug 2017 11:33:56
Ibrox just now is a morgue when we are getting beat all the time and the old school need to get way the new school times are changing we can't be stuck singing old fashioned songs that get us into rubbish constantly

15 Aug 2017 08:40:01
Seen on sky rangers to appeal jack. s red card can't see them win it copland rd camera shows straight headbutt

Never no tho if they use the old provoked card stokes had hand round his throat and was just as bad as jack putting his head down jacks face etc but does not excuse jack for what he did. just wish he seen stokes smirk oor to the bench when ref showed him the red an stuck the head on him good n proper lol lol

Personally i would just accept it move on an get the lads geared up for the jim jams this weekend.
