Just like to say no matter what the result they are still my team and i will always follow on . Just give it your all and leave nothing out there as neither I nor any true blue could ask anymore

Remind them who we are!

15 Apr 2016 21:05:06
exactly mate I've said all along i'm more confident than last time, look how far we have come in a year . we still have a long road ahead but at least know us as fans know its the right road, i reckon it could end up a crackin game if halliday and brown can stop the urge to kill each other.

15 Apr 2016 17:00:52
Will Harry be fit for the final?

15 Apr 2016 18:17:08
Nope mate, Waghorn has definitely been ruled out aswell man, really don't know who is going on the Rw now, i can't think of anyone as direct as Forrester and Waghorn so i'm quite disappointed, i just hope whoever steps into Rw does a good job.
Mon the Rangers.

15 Apr 2016 18:58:20
But Waghorn will be ok for the Final itself so that's something.

15 Apr 2016 22:18:04
Fit or not, I doubt he'll want to go watch Celtic in the cup final πŸ˜‰.

15 Apr 2016 23:27:05
I doubt many would bother watching that lot in the final.

15 Apr 2016 17:00:49
Heard that all the solicitors of the unwashed will be open on Sunday to submit their claim of bias refereeing, conspiracies, and demand an investigation to the integrity of the referee

they have already written their letters with the following but not limited issues, just to be signed after the final whistle

1) The refs a prod, mason, blind, on a bribe
2) The goal was offside and the linesman is the Same as above
3) The pitch was only laid a week before because MW slated it last week and was to suit Sevco
4) Sky sports showed too much footage of them and wanted them to win
5) This new club shoul not have been allowed to play
6) Our players got booked too early for committing fouls
7) Their win prevented the RD roar

Pleas add what you think will be their top 3 excuses when we win on Sunday

And it will all be on legal aid.

15 Apr 2016 19:41:56
The ref and media are already getting blamed i reckon third will be because one of there own fans had a bath that morning breaking all traditions πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ remember its a joke sensitive people.

15 Apr 2016 19:49:55
We thought we were playing Sevco but Rangers turned up.

The SFA only relaid the part of the pitch that Rangers played on.

We actually won but Sky didn't show our goals because they are part of the horrible MSSM, therefore everyone thinks Rangers did. It's not fair!

15 Apr 2016 19:49:02
No excuses needed as it will be so one sided and a stroll in the park V a Lower League Opposition. I hope Ronnie's Roar doesn't stick in your throat.

16 Apr 2016 11:44:31
Hope it celtic is in his as he won't be doing it.

15 Apr 2016 16:59:30
If we get there and it's Hibs, all those play off matches must be a hinderance to them.

15 Apr 2016 17:19:58
The biggest hindrance to Hibs is the fact that they always seem to 'hibs' it but yeah, good point.

15 Apr 2016 16:21:25
MW: Waghorn out of the semi final be back in training NXT wk.

15 Apr 2016 15:46:45
Anyone know any rangers pubs in Amsterdam?

15 Apr 2016 19:28:07
I watched first game against Hibs (6-2 lol) in cocos outback. They have loads of TVs and have no problem putting the game on for you. That game was on bbc Alba.

16 Apr 2016 01:15:30
Cheers!

16 Apr 2016 15:18:18
Actual rangers pub no but you will find that Celtic are not too popular in Amsterdam and in general they are much more friendly towards rangers fans.

Go to warmostrat (spelling) it runs parallel to Damrak. Plenty of bars there will be showing the game or go down to liedesplien or Rembrandt square - again plenty bars there including a decent sports bar next to burger king in liedesplien.

There are some brown cafes in and around the red light district and off kalverstrat (main long shopping street) that usually show football as well.

If you prefer to smoke there are a few coffee shops that show sports - there is a small one off dam square opposite Tulip hotel which is very friendly and always shows football, if it's not on ask and they will put it on for you.

Basjoes always used to show football but not sure now as it's changed hands. If you like a wander go down to the Albert cyupt market as that's where the best coffee shops are such as club media and katsu.

Even Nasa can't figure out how many times Luigi has been in Amsterdam - over 50 over the years. Have many good friends there.

Enjoy.

Speaking to Ronald de Boer again this morning (he's a neighbour, and I teach his kids to swim) . He says that Rangers have played fantastically this season with really exciting football. He said he will attempt to watch the game on Sunday and wishes us the very best against Celtic. He said that Rangers was a very special time for him and he is so happy that they are back where they belong.

15 Apr 2016 15:48:57
Ask him to send some players our way.

15 Apr 2016 14:26:12
My team to play Celtic.

Foderingham

Wilson Ball Kiernan

Tav haliday wallace

Holt. Shields

McKay

Miller

3-5-2 as a wee tactical surprise for them, as they will be expecting our usual 4-3-3. Use wing backs for width and encourage Holt and shields to make runs into channels. Extra central defender to make up for our defensive weakness. Miller to play up front on his own for 60 mins with McKay the linkman just behind him. Hopefully waghorn could play last 30 mins and Clark can come on late on for McKay and grab the winner.

15 Apr 2016 15:41:47
Last time we tried a 3-5-2 it went horrible, it's best to stick to what we know.

15 Apr 2016 16:49:08
Luigi

Shiels is rank rotten and if he plays it will be like having a man down.

15 Apr 2016 20:22:34
Completely disagree. Shiels was short listed for player of the year not si long ago. One thing he us not is rank rotten. Certainly not in the way Nicky Clark is.

15 Apr 2016 21:01:00
Utter nonsense luigi the last time he played that formation it backfired so why try it in such a big game. And another thing as much as the boy tries Nicky Clark has had umpteen chances and it ain't happened as far as I'm concerned so this just proves what I always thought u really don't have a clue what u r talking about.

16 Apr 2016 01:45:54
Having problems with someone else's opinion again jayC? Chill out a bit or grow up, whatever's quicker.

Teams across the world of football change tactics all the time, especially when they are playing a better side- an at the moment wether you like it or not Celtic are a better team than us.

Injuries mean that going to have major problems playing the usual formation anyway

Shields is a decent player. Probably won't get a new contract but he has been a standout player for both hibs and killie in spl in the past.

16 Apr 2016 01:50:19
Like it or not Clark will be involved. No way Miller can play 90mins so Clark will be on as a sub minimum.

15 Apr 2016 13:55:08
is it time for a 16 team top flight? I think it is. it's to much to play the same teams 4 times a season. also slightly boring.

15 Apr 2016 14:15:10
You have a point but it should be delayed for 2-3 seasons so it doesn't help out hibs or Dundee unt- who were adamant that no restructuring was to take place that would have shortened our journey. Same should apply to them if "sporting integrity" is a factor.

In the long term you definitely have a point and I'm sure that most fans in Scotland would want a 16team top tier, 1 home and 1 away meeting, no pointless split and unfairness of getting 3 away games against the same side.

Unfortunately many chairman will vote against this out of self interest and sky will demand 4 old firm games a season as part of any tv deal.

15 Apr 2016 14:26:49
Ffs wait till the feeder club go down first!

15 Apr 2016 15:37:32
I think now is the best time for the league to go to 16 teams with us in the league would attact better sponsors and make the top flight better with 2 up 2 down and a playoff I know what people are saying about Dundee u should face there fate but it's about us a team and a club on the up not what the rest of Scottish football are doing a 16 team league and a split gives you 37 games.

15 Apr 2016 16:37:10
Money talks i'm sure the greedy spfl with get a few extra peanuts if we play celtic a minimum of four times per year. Money has always been behind the size of our league at the expense of the game.

15 Apr 2016 22:39:45
There is no way that we should e looking at a 16 team league for next season.

There needs to be at least a season's delay, something has always been stated by the League.

With a bit of luck, neither Dundee United or Hibernian will be anywhere near the top of the Championship next time round and in an ideal world Dundee United will cease to exist!

16 Apr 2016 01:52:36
Seeker go and seek out a copy of the table. They are definitely going down, quite willing to take any bets to the contrary.

15 Apr 2016 13:16:49
Does anyone know of any pubs in the centre that will be open early on sunday before the match? or somewhere to go for a couple of pre match beverages.

15 Apr 2016 16:25:14
Be no pubs open early on sunday that's the reason kick off is 12 noon so fans can't go to pub before hand.

15 Apr 2016 17:31:43
There will be here on the Costa Blanca, Spain! Ola, Ole!

15 Apr 2016 12:15:30
Hello, does anyone know of any rangers friendly pubs in Liverpool, that will be showing the game on Sunday?

15 Apr 2016 12:32:29
The derry club.

15 Apr 2016 12:45:39
the only option I can see working is Halliday on the left, Mckay on the right and Law, Holt in the middle with Ball behind them. Halliday will be as much use defensively out there as Roberts is probably their second most dangerous player behind Griffiths. Law starting doesn't fill me with confidence, but neither does Shields. Wish Murdoch or Hardie were here to be honest, I'd rather have thrown one of them in.
I'd maybe even be tempted to start with Clark through the middle with Kenny on the left and Mckay on the right then change it later.
It's amazing how one injury can change the dynamics so much.

15 Apr 2016 19:27:10
Liverpool clubs and their fans used to always have special links with rangers in the 70's and 80's and everton had the links with celtic at the same time although I don't know if this is still the case now, I can remember in the 80's a lot of our fans having the half rangers half Liverpool hats they were everywhere and likewise the half celtic half everton hats.

15 Apr 2016 09:49:04

15 Apr 2016 08:10:00
I've been interested in the debate about Zelalem. In the absence of Forrester, King and O'Halloran on Sunday he could be a matchwinner. Barrie Mackay can run amok and with the skill of Mackay and Zelalem hatchet man Broon will end up getting sent off. My team:

Foderingham; Tavernier, Kiernan, Wilson, Wallace; Ball, Holt, Halliday; Zelalem, Miller, Mackay. Give Mackay and Zelalem freedom to roam all over the pitch and Halliday, Holt and Ball to stamp their authority in the middle. I'm looking forward to the game. A win will be great but a defeat not the end of the world. I think there will be goals though on both sides!

15 Apr 2016 09:19:26
Why are so many people desperate for Zelalem to be in the squad? he is average at best. I don't think I've seen him have above 50% pass success (against championship sides, which is embarrassing) he has no guts, he runs from every tackle and 50/ 50. I'd honestly prefer to risk Waghorn rather than play Zelalem, if we are going to chuck a midfielder on the wing it would be either Law or Halliday. Which I doubt Warbs would put Halliday out on the wing as it would leave us exposed defensively in midfield. I reckon Warbs will either put nicky clark on or risk Waghorn, I don't think any midfielders will go on the wings. He could always dig deep and go to the u21 for Leacock Mcleod, pacey, looks like a good player and it would give the lad a chance to prove himself.

15 Apr 2016 11:29:27
Would like to see Leacock McLeod on the bench. Doubt he will be but there's a chance.

At the moment it's Dean Shiels in the starting eleven. He has the chance to shine in a game of this calibre and might well give us his best performance since he's been at the club.

Doubtful Law would get a start, since he isn't as used to playing on the wing, but it's between the two of them just now, I'd say.

15 Apr 2016 16:29:13
I watched Zelalem when he played against Kilmarnock at Ibrox in the Scottish Cup tie and he was very, very good on the ball. Yes he is slight of frame but he can run at defences and win kicks and maybe a penalty. I just think with his mobility and skill plus Barrie Mackay's skill too Celtic will have real problems.
