screamer from black goal of the season for rangers this year I guess

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I had to leave at halftime for work, had my boy there for his first game. I was dying for a goal for him before we had to leave. Him going was only a last minute thing. What was it like?

Agree0 Disagree0

Took a pass, back to goal touch turned stepped once and skelped roughly 30 yards belter, in short lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Black ges a lot of stick but he is not the worst player to me foster and moshni are a goal of a start to any opposing team and why he signed simonsen when the young lad gallagher started the season only he will know his self and the other boy ross finnie not sure his name he has been unheard off scince its just one bad decision after another you have to ask what input macdowall and durrant have macdowall had a fair reputation at celtic but the decions made at ibrox make no sense whatsoever at times

Agree0 Disagree0

A fitting tribute to McCoists Rangers, we've got worse than Ian Black! Foster is pish as are Smith, Moshni, Daly etc, Black though is a yard short of pace and a sandwich short of a picnic, never a Rangers players in a million years, a liability on and off the pitch just like the bug jacket that signed him.

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 good post mate. Spot on about what the comment says about the team under Ally. All over the pitch there are highly paid poor players who can't do the basics. Foster is woeful, smith is done, Faure can't defend and Moshni is a liability. However Ally seems to think they are the answer

Agree0 Disagree0

@ Smokey Bear and Stewie agreed. Only one word I disagree with in the last sentence "think". This wee man doesn't think. If he did even he would realise he has been a disaster for our club.

Youngest man on the park tonight Nicky Clark at 22 everyone else atleast 3 years his senior. Enough said.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Same old same old Larky. Was super ally not in the paper stating he's ready to give youth a chance? For the first time in a very long time I never bother going or watching the game and just seen the line up there and Nicky Clark is youngest player on the park. It's an absolute disgrace. Ally is my boyhood hero but I'm an sick to death off his 5hit! John1glasgow

'Super' must be really desperate to end the season unbeaten against joiners and plumbers even though even he must know that this is to the detriment of the club we all love who need to bring through youngsters.

An incredibly selfish man who puts himself first at every possible opportunity. Rangers really are going backwards every game he takes charge of as manager and the sooner he is gone the better for the team and the fans.

We deserve much better than McCoist.

Agree0 Disagree0

Have Said it before just stop buying tickets until he is gone, which won't be very long.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats not exactly true, Hutton is 23 and played a part.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sadly when you look at records and statistics book in years to come. it will be seen as a major success

Agree0 Disagree0

@ 5 It will only be seen by Super Ally fans like yourself as a "major success" the rest of us will remember it for what it was another lost opportunity to play youth and plan for the future.

Agree0 Disagree0

N5 weeman you do know the record books will state it was part time teams we played against

Well if it was me, I'd be playing the youngsters for the last few games of the season to give them some much needed 1st team experience, and to get an idea of who will cut it in the championship.

But mccoist? Naw. Tonight must be the oldest average age of a team we've started with all season!

Why not at least try out a new back 4 cause foster and smith ain't good enough, and big jig is looking too slow to be starting every week next season.

And some game time for hutton, gallacher and crawford wouldn't to any harm.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Simonsen won't be there next season so why wasn't Gallagher in the team? Ally would rather play a guy who has no future at the club in place of a promising young keeper. It's almost laughable!

Agree0 Disagree0

Stewie no oher manager in his position would not play youngsters from now till end of the season he is as big a danger to club as anyone

Agree0 Disagree0

@ stewie I wouldn't be so sure about simmo not being there nxt season with ally anything is possible

Well folks, I don't expect a great crowd tonight, and we will struggle to break down a determined Forfar, so no change there, but I do expect the players to put in the effort they did on Saturday, nothing less will do, the fans on Saturday did them proud. I think the latest spat between the board and Mr King will get fans attention yet again. I can't wait till the season ends, i'm drained of all emotion, i'm a Ranger, first and foremost, but this has been the worst time of my footballing life. Rangers Always. Come on the Rangers!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Billy b good news mickey mouse has an ally macoist watch which sums up expertise

Hi bears, just had a look on the rangers website at the season ticket renewals process. On there they have a collection of video clips taken from previous players of the club all bundled together. They also state the below text.

This is not just your seat.

You are keeping it warm for the generations to come.

Because Rangers Football Club is bigger than any individual.

We are a team with over 50 thousand players.

One footballing family dressed in light blue.

Turning up to play our part every Saturday afternoon and floodlit night.

Season after season (and sometimes four seasons in one game).

Warming up in the training ground, the park; with teammates, with friends.

Celebrating every goal, every victory, every piece of silverware.

Never giving up, even when the odds are stacked against us.

This is a place where legends never die, they grow.

Where even the players are lifelong fans.

But we are all just custodians playing our 90 minutes and then passing it forward.

Together we can make sure there's always a Rangers.

Renew your ticket for the coming season.

Cringe worthy stuff. could the board stoop any lower?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Total emotional blackmail. Smacks of desperation. Why not publish the financial affairs of the club, and let the fans make up there own mind instead of this Guff!

Agree0 Disagree0

Give me strength! who the A-frame tent came up with that patronising pi sh.
Here is a bit of poetry to match it - I was going to renew but am no noo.
Well I might in-spite of above.

Agree0 Disagree0

God that makes me cringe what a load of piffle why didn't they just post"please please buy our season tickets were skint and no one will invest " they must thnk we are mugs how many on that board care about our club none they care about the money they can get out no more spivs

Agree0 Disagree0

Cringe worthy emotional blackmail is McCoists job, now they've got this patronising drivel on their website, what purpose does he serve?

Agree0 Disagree0

Surprised they missed the main one. Once a Ranger always a Ranger utter desperation on there part they are starting to panic shame on you and shame on me for believing in you last season!

Agree0 Disagree0

@ ED " who the A frame tent"? LOL that was meant to be two small ff (s) and a small s. For a while personic was also appearing on posts is this computer cleansing or drunken misrepresentation?.

But having said that I may use it again particularly when choosing our goal keeper in team selections- in goal ffs or A frame tent- we can't lose!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - We are trying to cut down on the swearing on all of the sites and all the eds pitch in with ideas of for a weekly theme to change them to. Person is automatically added by filters to change some words, nobody wants to read a site littered with swear words and name calling.}

Fair enough ED and quite right to. Some of us who probably don't swear too much in "real life" have been driven to it by Super Swally et all but- will do better in future.

It is still the funniest thing I have ever written even though I didn't write it-nuff said.

You've got to laugh a poll on here the other day 64% reckon murry park has been a waste of time and today we've got people on saying give youth a chance as it doesn't matter if we lose because the league is won well sorry I'm a bluenose and I won't my team to win as many games as we can.
r. f

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Look how can murry park not be a waste of time until we see progress.

That progress is youngsters coming through.
How can we see youngsters coming through until management (ally)
Plays them.

So to me your post is redonkulous.

Agree0 Disagree0

OP I was going to say your posts confuse me most of the time but having thought about it I believe it is just that you are confused.
I found the fact 36% thought Auchenhowie was money well spent was the astonishing surprise.
I remember we received £9million for Allan Hutton but all the other large fees escape me as do the long list of graduates from the expensive custom built youth development facility.
This year really saw McLeod and possibly Aird other than that?
Should have been McAusland and MacKay but your manager preferred out of contract mature players who cost a helluva lot more.
Not really the point of having an expensive custom built youth development facility to develop youth now is it? Or is that still a bit too complicated?

SA not alone mind you WS spent £30million in his last 4 years but having gone pop 2 years ago perhaps we shouldn't be trying to go bust again so soon Mr McCoist? What is my transfer budget this year? ZIPPO, nienty, nada- nowt!

Agree0 Disagree0

@2 You do know that the first team train at Murray Park as well don't you? in fact ALL our teams train at MP. If we did not have this facility we would have to train some place else either pay rent to someone or maybe you'd prefer to have the teams train in the public park, What is it you want? If the players are not there then great facilities will not create them sorry.

Agree0 Disagree0

@ 3 having worked as an engineer on both civils and building projects all my days if all we wanted was training facilities for 55 players we could have built something all these years ago for £1million instead of the £12million it actually cost.

So whether you are being obtuse or trying to be dense I think we both know the facility was built to develop our own young talent to save any more £12million transfer fees for premier division reserves.

It was to make as self sufficient which is why our "second chance" under Green and McCoist has been such a spectacular disaster.

And no amount of dense repetitive justifications of played 32 won 30 lost none will elevate the manager's performance to anything other than a very costly disappointment.

A complete missed opportunity to come back as a young exciting attacking footballing force which in the words of Bill Struth would have had evermore people coming to Ibrox to see them play.

Here are some youngsters playing in the top flight who were exactly the type of player some of us envisaged seeing at Ibrox.
James Forrest- Celtic
Andy Robertson
Ryan Gauld
Armstrong
Mackay-stevens- all D United
Peter Pawlett - Aberdeen
Kenny MacLean- ST Mirren

but also as someone else posted it is ironic that 3 of the nominations for Championship Player of the year are McDonald, Loy and Hemmings all deemed not good enough for us.

Our first team wage bill is more than twice that of the other 29 teams in the bottom 3 leagues but Forfar and Raith Rovers put us out of 2 of the three cups this year whilst it required a highly contentious decision to secure a replay against Albion Rovers.

We have spent £17- £18 million of IPO money plus a loan of £1.5 million just to see us through until the end of this season (18 months in total) although this years unseemly rush to get out the ST books suggests to me more money might be required to fulfill this seasons fixtures.

If you are content with Ally and his team then I have more in common with the supporters of any other team in the world that I have with you.
I quite simply want McCoist out of the job because he is not up to the job and my club is suffering by damage to it's reputation and finacially because less and less of us are going to watch the team.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Apr 2014 11:36:04
Well, a real chance for McCoist to give youth a chance. Nothing to play for, nothing to lose tonight. So what about this team tonight or for the rest of the season (sorry, I don't know status on injuries and who is or isn't available):

Gallacher; McAusland, Gasparotto, Hegarty, Wallace; Hutton, Macleod, Mackay, Templeton; Daly, Clark

I know McAusland and Mackay are out on loan but presumably they can be recalled at any time?

I think Gers' fans would rather see a team of youngsters like this play and try their best and lose than a bunch of has-beens huffing and puffing (and losing).

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Here, bloody, here!

Op or see a team of older players trying not to lose and maybe steal a win

Quote of the season goes to ally mccoist people like donald findlay are saying we need to strengthen to win the championship so i'm happy to take donalds advice

Believable0 Unbelievable0

15 Apr 2014 13:51:12
Expenditure on staff at Ibrox is 99% of turnover with hikes in wages for the likes of McCulloch and Templeton kicking in the moment the new season begins and Super Dooper Ally is still whingeing on about strengthening the squad?

Anyway Ally, didn't you back up Jig just a couple of months ago when he said the standard in Div 1 was comparable with the top division.

You really couldn't make up half the garbage Ally comes out with nowadays.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rhetorical question OP but would he have been happy to take the advice if Donald Findlay had said 4 frick sake Ally get a grip the club is skint? Develop youth ya tube!
What planet do these Rangers men inhabit?

Agree0 Disagree0

Nbear if mr finlay had said that to ally then ally would have replied not guilty

Agree0 Disagree0

Tmwnn and a number of us would have shouted out in good pantomime tradition or yes you are!

@ martingor you say a mistake by there keeper for our goal. I thought it was a cracker of a free kick from smith. then there are others further down giving it to McCoist for playing Shiels who were the same one's giving it to him for not playing the same player in the ramsdens and I believe if we would've put our chances away we could've won the game.
