Absolutely no surprise that he has came out with this . guaranteed that the sfa and Collum have sat down and doctored the ref report to keep face for both of them. To be fair he blew kisses in a threatening fashion. That should actually be a red card! Pure joke! And popcorn teeth gets away with a straight arm giruy gesture in front of a packed main stand at Ibrox. If that is all gollum can come up with after a fortnight then frankly that's shameful. Good thing is we still won 7-1 and Daniel benefited from a well earned rest. Absolute roasters in charge here.

If that is his statement for booking him then there is no hope for the future of refereeing in Scotland. i'm sick of this type of decision getting passed by the SFA. I actually agree, we have seen what kind of player Pena was, representing Mexico must mean he has something, if his troubles can be dealt with then who knows but he could become a quality player.

Rarely seen a player make so little effort or show so little ability but score some cracking goals as Pena. There is a however-don't think we should pay him off before Stevie and his team have a go at trying to instill a
proper footballing ethos into the guy. Train hard, work hard for the team and maybe we will have a decent player- if not get shut however we can even if it costs us!

I’d be over the moon if Gerrard could get a turn out of Pena as it wouldn’t be a wasted wage every month.
BUT I don’t think it is all down to Gerrard, it will be down too how much effort Pena is prepared to put in to force himself into his plans. He has the skill but has major doubts over his fitness levels, especially the way Gerrard sets up his team and the Scottish game in general.

See the kid Jordan Thompson is playing well for Blackpool and gets motm most weeks, in my view he could have made it under Stevie G. I know he’s one of many, but there isn’t too many make it through the ranks at Rangers from my part of the country.

Flanagan gets a lot of stick on this site. He's being played out of position every match he plays. I doubt Sandy Jardine could have played on the left. Gerrard's talking about resting some players and I think he should give Tavernier a break once Barasic is fit again and play Flanagan in his natural right back position. Flanagan was rated at Liverpool and played in a team few if any of our current squad would make.

t’s his defensive positioning that bothers me. He gets caught out far to much and I don’t see how playing in his natural side would make that part of his game much better.
Can’t use he played in Liverpool team as a reason to play him. Michael Stewart played in a very good Manchester United team and he is mince.

queens11 on an attacking sense yes. But defensively no. I played RB. I played LB many times though. Only thing that was strange was when attacking, it never effected me defensively.
