Have to admit that i wish the club i love could sign a deal similar to the new kit deal celtic signed with adidas. Now we all know adidas just won't become our new kit makers, as they're supposedly forking out a sum of money over the five year deal with them, which is the biggest ever seen in the scottish game.

I just wish for good news soon, on our new kit manufacturer, which would effectively start next season. I've heard that bisgrove was in advanced negotiations with New Balance about possibly becoming our new kit manufacturers and imo anyway, i would take New Balance in a minute, as rangers new kit makers!

It could be true, as New Balance have now parted with both liverpool and celtic and most definitely would want to be partners with another massive club like ours! New Balance most definitely would be the big sportswear manufacturer we would be glad to be associated with!

As it definitely now won't be adidas. New Balance are a big sportswear firm, no doubt about that and i would imagine most bears, including myself would be very happy for them to become our new kit makers. Thoughts fellow bears because this kit manufacturer deal is a massive thing for us to get sorted!

Unfortunately Coop the big boys won’t touch us! It says it all when a club our size has Hummel as no one else wanted the gig. We will probably settle for Someone like Umbro and get peanuts like Hummel are paying right now!
You can bet the Tim’s get 80% more revenue than us from merchandise 😡🇬🇧✌️.

Yately01, i thought in general the hummel deal over the original set up of 3 years was a decent deal mate. It was £10million over the 3 years. I certainly wouldn't rule out us getting a big kit manufacturer if james bisgrove's statement is anything to go by. He said he was looking for a new kit manufacturer with global brand status, to takeover from hummel as our new kit manufacturers.

As our new manufacturer would be then associated with making our kits when rangers reach the milestone of 150 years old, in 2022.I think we will get a good deal, with a big sportswear manufacturer and it will be an american sportswear manufacturer, ie. Nike, New Balance, Under Armour and as we all know bisgrove was over in america for 3 weeks recently, talking to sportswear firms. I was told he was in advanced negotiations with New Balance, time will tell!

Rubes12, how can we be as far away? since 2012, we have came thro three divisions and are sitting second in league, its now 2020, so you are saying we won't win the league in the next eight years, i will take any wager you care to place that we will win the league before another eight year has past, if you like, name that bet, mate.

If we had beat them tomorrow post cancelation and won game in hand theyd only be 7points ahead so they shouldn't be awarded the league if games all cancelled also if league was void that would go down worse than us wining league to them they would go mental lol loving it man.

Whats peoples thought on this idea. Bin all leagues and trophy's. The prize money will still be there and should be given out as per league position today as a bit of compensation or even just give an equal share to all teams in the leagues if that's a bit too much for some. Euro competition qualification 20/ 21 could be based on an average of performance over 18/ 19 and 19/ 20. Time for thinking out the box - what ever happens no titles and no relegation if the leagues are terminated. Feel sorry more for the promotion close teams and Liverpool but this situation is bigger than football and nothing short of catastrophic for the planet. Keep well all, we will get through this. Virus V Scotland is the only competition where we are favorites, we will just invent the rubbish out of it.

Agreed. But euro qualification should just go on current league position as well. And obviously we can't bin the betfred cup, realistically the scottish cup could still be finished in the summer.

Way I look at it is if they end the season as is just now it's not fair on teams who have a chance of their league, europe, promotion or avoid relegation (eg Falkirk, Hearts, Aston Villa) . If they null and void the season then it's not fair on teams that had a chance of the title, promotion, europe etc (eg Liverpool, D Utd, Sheff Utd) . They could perhaps restart the season in say August and finish end of September. Wee break and then start next season mid October. Scrap both cup competitions next season and do Euros in 2021 and scrap nations league.

Followfollow, we won't have most of our player in august, as there are loads of contracts finish in may/ june, so we would have a better pool come august, that would give us an advantage, and you can be rest assured the s.f.a. don't want us back to full strength, incase we beat celtic to something, all scottish m.ps. Would need to surrender there season books at parkhead.

Friends wife works in sky call centre Livingston. says they have been inundated with calls from folk wanting a reduction, or just cancelling altogether, mainly English punters. Just wondering how this could effect epl clubs financially if they can’t honour their contract.
Obviously hurting sky, can’t see them just taking the hit, if it’s epl decision to cancel games.

Sky shall have more money in the bank than all clubs put together. 10 million customers average of 70 pound per person per month. More worried about our position if we don't have any more games this season.

I know it is hard not to be bias, but I can't see how the leagues cannot be declared void this season. It you take the English Championship, as many as 10 teams are battling for the play-off places. How on earth can you just say that's it, the league ends here and now? Mathematically, Rangers could still win the league, whatever Lemon face says, so to declare Celtic champions when Rangers have 9 games to play would be ridiculous. I guess the team I would feel sorry for is Liverpool and the team I wouldn't feel sorry for (apart from Celtic) would be Dundee United! In La Liga, only 2 points separate Barcelona and Real and in Serie A, Juventus are only 1 point ahead of Lazio. UEFA must make a univeral ruling that applies to all European countries.

I think this will go on for months so i doubt its going to just go away. They could start playing behind closed doors but that would be worse than letting folk watch.

Guys we must remember sporting integrity in 2008 Rangers were not allowed to have the league extended so what makes them any different? The league should be void to save any court proceedings.

Yass22. I don't recall a big brouhaha when we were unceremoniously dumped into division 3 of the Scottish leagues and people protesting on our behalf that it wasn't right or fair.

Yes Celtic were very focussed on integrity in 2008 . now its, our turn . no way can anything be awarded. unless of course celtic have included a secret clause in Scottish football law that all of us have not been made aware?

The league was extended in 2008 but wasnt in 2003 when celtic got to the uefa cup final.

No it wasn't ASD12, Rangers had to play 8 games in either 10 or 12 days in 2008, we were totally knackered by the end of it, so, sorry, but the SFA did SFA to help our Club at that time, irrespective, this extremely difficult situation the World is in at present, has to be the priority.
