Reading about a young Rangers apprentice who signed for Rangers last summer from Linfield, called Chris McKee, his coaches say he has a special gift around goal and they are excited about his future if all goes well for him, no bad injuries etc. NI definitely needs some special players 😝, the Rangers youth teams seem to be doing really well in their competitions.

Good luck to the lad, very pleased with the under 17’s showing in Qatar also, hopefully some of these lads get a springboard into the first team. If you are good enough you are old enough I say, patience is key with young players though!

Im sure you got that from warburton wee bear lol.

We've always had good sides at youth level but very few become top pros. Not sure why we struggle to make the step up.

Think we missed a trick in the lower leagues by not promoting a few youngsters but hoping we'll see a few breakthrough in the coming years. It's in our best interests as it would be our most realistic business model to produce players and sell them on. I know it's a different level buy Ajax are the best example, they get raided every year yet they keep producing, probably what we should be aiming for in the long run.

{Ed039's Note - I wholeheartedly agree)

Following my post yesterday guys, I feel that Norway, Holland, Belgium, would be 3 possibilities for us to play our football. We will never receive justice up here, such is the pure hatred dished out to us, just look at some of the comments in Fans Forums in some newspapers, not banter any more, just pure hatred. I know it's unlikely, but we should look at other possibilities, just an opinion guys to open up some thoughts.

{Ed039's Note - You think we could play football in the Norwegain, Dutch and Belgian leagues? It hasn't been possible to get into the English leagues never mind the logistical nightmare of playing in a European league. Also add in what Brexit might add to those difficulties and I come to the conclusion that you are playing some weird game of Football Manager in your own head that has gone mental)

No one likes us. We don't care!

14 Feb 2019 18:17:31
No! The guy is just fed up with his team getting treated like second class citizens😡🇬🇧.

No ED. I'm not mental in any way, so cut the sarcasm, as Yately said, I, like many Rangers Fans am sick of the crap printed by the Media, and the general hatred in this country of our team. I;ve followed Rangers for over 60 years, and I don't remember a situation as toxic as what we're in now.

{Ed039's Note - Nobody is disputing how you might feel about whats printed or said or decisions etc, but you are not sanely looking at things by plucking the names of leagues out of a hat withouth properly considering what you are saying or the legalities or consequences of it, like what does Rangers joining these leagues bring to broadcasters and what advantage is there to the travelling fans. Nothing, that's the mental part)

Thank you for your response ED, no offence taken, just a bit of frustration on my part. I understand the legal and logistical problems of such a move, but, also taking into account the financial disparities between the top European Clubs and the rest of us, the proposal of a new European League may not be a bad thing, as you say though it all depends on the Governing Bodies FIFA and UEFA views on things. Onwards and upwards anyway.
