This day and age players sale for gers. ones that will sell.

You all can say you on values. this just mines and not in order.

1, Morelos - £20m
2, Kent -£16m
3, Airbo - £15m
4, Hagi - £7m + sell on
5, kamara - £25m+
6, Tav - right now nothing less that £30m
7, Goldson - £12m
8, barisic - £20m
9, jack - £18m
10, helander- £9m
11, Itten ( still to prove himself but I'll go with ) - £8m
12, Bassy - £11m

That's what - £172 or about a million. We could easily get a huge team to win leagues and cups. Maybe even a europ cup.

Players to retire at us, without selling,

1, shagger
2, jack
3, davis
4, bolegun - my bad can't even say his name never mind spell it!
5, Roofe
6, Defoe
7, Patterson. If I was to put a price on him ( £5m ) he ain't played much but shows potential
8, mcglucghan. ( still think he will give the shagger his run for the goal )

Thoughts guys?

14 Dec 2020 22:19:15
Jack - 18m? 🤣.

14 Dec 2020 22:34:13
I think some of those valuations were from the heart and not the head buddy 😂. I don’t know if Roofe will be here long term his past indicates he switches clubs a lot. I would knock £40mil off.

14 Dec 2020 22:47:21
Mate
That’s way
Over the top.
I don’t
Know where to start. Basset £11m!? U at it man.

14 Dec 2020 22:49:04
We need to let Alfie go. Saw twice on Sunday that Kent was open on goal and raging at Alfie for shooting instead of passing. Alf should have been off and was back to his toy throwing days. He's becoming a disruption in my opinion. He looks miserable and I think he's thinking that he's bigger and better than what he is. We've scored more now without his goals. No one is bigger than the club. Take the cash and reinvest. 55. One day closer.

14 Dec 2020 22:57:12
BGMHO1 why not jack 18m give your reasons?

14 Dec 2020 23:25:29
KUl just my values. But as I stated would love to see everyone’s on them players.

15 Dec 2020 06:21:21
Hagi signed for the belgians for 8 mill only for them to get rid after 1 season to us for 3mill. We will likely only just get our money back on that one.

15 Dec 2020 08:04:52
Valuations there are ridiculous 😒😒

Cmon let's be honest

Morelos 8-12m be lucky terrible attitude and horrendous form of late
Jack - 5m
Helander - 5m had some good performances but been injured alot
Goldson - 5-10m good piece of business
Tav - 8-15m been a great servant and having a good season but can be weak defensively
Kamara - 10m plus great piece of business he will leave in the summer
Borna - same 10m plus great business hell also be off
Bassey few million
Hagi few million
Itten few million
Roofe possibly more if he get better n stays injury free 5-10m
These guys haven't won any silverware or proved anything yet other than they could be something special, if we win silverware this year then those figures will rise but c'mon lads let's not be blinkered here barisic n kamara n aribo will be our biggest assets because of age and talent and I think 2/ 3 will be away next summer for decent cash.

15 Dec 2020 08:09:10
My reasons? He is never an 18m player! Never has been! Never will be!

14 Dec 2020 20:56:31
Controversial point guys, was discussed previously and not by me however was shot down. What do we think on loaning Alfie out to say la lava or epl, if and only if we can secure a top class replacement on loan. Would that suit anybody on here? Would that work for our team and club. ? Just a question not an oppiny.

14 Dec 2020 21:22:00
Great post! I would take a loan deal for Morelos. ( I love the guy ) but I think a change for a season would do him the world of good.

14 Dec 2020 21:23:12
Who would want him gerr? , its a serious question, I can't see an English team wanting him, anyway how dies that benefit Rangers ?

14 Dec 2020 21:31:18
Cracking idea mate, we should get £50m in the next window if we loan him to an EPL team. Man U and Man City are looking weak up top, no doubt they would bite our hand off for Alfie.

He’d be lucky to get onto the QPR bench never mind a EPL team and we’ll be lucky to get £5m for him next summer.

14 Dec 2020 21:38:30
If Alfie goes. It has to be a sale. no Loan’s. I’d rather keep him till end of season as he’s bound to come good soon 😏.

14 Dec 2020 21:38:55
It’s the most ridiculous thing I have heard to be honest

14 Dec 2020 23:03:28
How many teams can you think of that are in the market looking for a huffy striker who can't score a goal and struggles to even kick the ball? And pay 20mil for the privilege.
I think we are stuck with a striker on high wages for the foreseeable future. Who knows he might start actually kicking the ball and god willing they might even go towards goal into the net. Fingers crossed.

14 Dec 2020 23:40:53
Well kja9 I’m only losing a question mate. A doubt it’s the most ridiculous thing you’ve ever heard tbh but fair dos to u mate . I’m just thinking if we can get a better player in who can contribute more then why not loan Alfie out in the hope he kicks on and we get money in future. I get it’s divisive but don’t see what it can’t work.

14 Dec 2020 23:42:12
Tom I don’t see an English club buying him, maybe a loan to bottom half or else Spain England France a lot a money on continent. Maybe kick him on a bit and we can make a buck. Just a thought.

14 Dec 2020 23:58:05
He’s been “ bound to come good “ for quite a long time, absolute drivel talking of loans,

15 Dec 2020 01:19:00
Why would anyone sign a player with one of the worst techniques you will see?

15 Dec 2020 07:40:27
So 47 goals from 103 games means he can't score? The lad is low on confidence and hit a poor patch, happens to all strikers. Didn't hear many complain when he was knocking them in for fun. He will come good again.

15 Dec 2020 07:58:33
He’s our managers first choice striker for every big game but the experts on here don’t rate him same as they didn’t rate Tav last season.

In other words, the experts on here think our manager buttons up the back.

👍.

15 Dec 2020 08:35:48
He's rotten, needs to be sold not loaned.

15 Dec 2020 09:16:52
Dk. You talk a lot of sense in your posts buddy 👍.

15 Dec 2020 11:16:58
Dk totally correct, the manager rates him that’s what counts.

15 Dec 2020 13:34:53
Absolute drivel some people talk continually wanting players sold or given away because they've had a couple of poor games or bad luck in front of games.
At the rate some on here slate players we'd be playing the development squad before the September weekend.
Thankfully Gerrard sees it differently. 🔴⚪🔵.

14 Dec 2020 20:48:09
And I Quote ""

Tavernier the full-back now has 11 goals in the league. That's more than Celtic pair Mohamed Elyounoussi and Ryan Christie combined. He has 17 goals in all competitions. That's the same return as Odsonne Edouard, Albian Ajeti and Patryk Klimala combined.

🙊🙊🙊🙊🙊🙊🙊.

14 Dec 2020 21:25:00
Its kinda usual to say who you quote from mate? That's kinda the thing about quotes mate

And another thing, you don't usually require a quote to say the obvious, that's a fact.

14 Dec 2020 21:35:30
Great stats for a right back.
According to the other lot it's all penalties he's scored. 🙈
That was a cracker of a 40 yard penalty he scored on Sunday though 🤣🤣
🔴⚪🔵.

14 Dec 2020 21:39:40
Virtually same as Alf, itten, Defoe.

14 Dec 2020 20:36:53
I see that the dims are up in arms that Alfie didn't get sent off. The usual Masonic referee getting the blame.
Oh no mention of the 2 pens that should have been given.
Also no mention of the 3 elbow incidents that their own captain Mr broon has been involved in this season.

A fan base like no other. Their team has had the worst run of results since the 50s, they where one game away from having the worst record in europa group stage history and out of 3 cups already.

Blame the anti 10 in row masonic referees, government, establishment.

14 Dec 2020 21:26:42
I know he should have walked, and I know brown should have walked, many times, only idiots ignore they're own failings mate.

15 Dec 2020 01:20:59
3 points.

14 Dec 2020 18:26:26
Hey guys, wee post here on Morelos.

1st thing he should have had a red card yesterday. but ref and officials missed it.

2nd, a lot of people on here not happy with Morelos because he's not scoring. But if you look at his game play. He drops deep to get the ball ( brings defenders with him ) and allows Tav to push forward.

3, I'm like many ok here wanting the guy to hit the back of the net. but I think his game play this season has been great! Maybe he's missing that atmosphere of the fans getting on his back to push him.

4, if you watch the way he plays for his country it's all across the top. Maybe that's where he is comfortable and we ain't relying him to get us the goals, but I think Ally hit the nail on the head on commentary - quote, how will the rest of the league feel when Morelos and Kent start hitting form again.

Thoughts guys?

14 Dec 2020 18:39:43
Fifa guy ref never missed it, he took action, wrong action IMO
I’m reasonably satisfied with how he plays.

14 Dec 2020 18:41:51
Fifa guy for me he had 2 freshair swipes at goal inside the box, miscontrolled a great through ball which would have left a tap in then got in tavs way after and also missed a sitter of a header from 5yards that's simply not good enough when we've got plenty options in the shape of roofe defoe and cedric he needs left out for a couple of weeks we can't afford passengers.

14 Dec 2020 18:44:25
The ref never missed it as he booked him for it.

He should have been sent off but wasn’t.

14 Dec 2020 18:57:06
The dreadful 'new role' talk being hinted yet again. He's been woeful all season. Do people really think he's missing sitters now in order to fulfill a new role?

14 Dec 2020 19:18:07
BlueWouldDo, i honestly never thought morelos was a natural finisher TBH anyway 🤔He always seemed to hammer the ball with power all the time,
when the more natural goalscorer finishes at times by passing/ placing the ball into the net! Look at the way super ally could change his finishing ability, his current teammate defoe and so on, those strikers are natural finishers 👌.

14 Dec 2020 19:38:14
I would bet we all would really prefer Alfie to get back to his winning ways but not his tantrums and getting red carded again.

Stevie must be trying to see what position is most beneficial to the team rather than playing him as our main striker every game.

That's what I think anyway right or wrong. Only Steve and staff know for sure.

14 Dec 2020 19:38:49
Defoe and itten are scoring goals in that 'new role'👍.

14 Dec 2020 19:49:18
Coldo Defoe doesn’t play that role and never has 👍

Itten has scored one goal in that role 👍.

14 Dec 2020 19:49:59
BWD have a day of.

14 Dec 2020 20:02:54
Got to laugh coldo the tactical genius, Defoe is not asked to come back, into his own half or defend corners or free kicks. Itten is, but has scored three goals to date.
For both u experts on Morelos are u saying SG is a liar when he says Morelos is being asked to come back, link up, and create space for mates same as firmino does at Liverpool.
Try answer the question, because every time I ask you two it not one has the guts to answer.

14 Dec 2020 20:12:32
Ferries, I couldn't agree with everything you said, and sgl, I have always said alfie is not and never will be a natural finisher, nor is he even a good finisher, he's exactly what you said, a battering ram, who smashes the ball most of the time, often from utterly ridiculous areas and his heads like a 20p piece, often the ball runs down his neck and comes off his shoulder, or goes in completely the opposite direction from his forehead, now, being from an era of players like DJ, McNiel, Jackson, followed by Hatley, butcher, goughy I know a thing or 2 about players who could head a ball straight through the net from the halfway line, so I get angry when alfie can't hit the net from 2 yards, but this is the point, he isn't a good finisher, and his pathetic behaviour has been defended now for over 2 years, he's made it perfectly clear on many occasions that he doesn't want to be here, yet still they defend the indefensible, its quite strange how some people talk of " when he returns to form " eh " what season is that going to be in then?

14 Dec 2020 20:23:56
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Alfie part of the team that has went 27 game undefeated. Yet some of our fans want rid of him, I just don't get it.
I'm old enough to remember super ally and big hately getting the same response of sell them ect from an element of our support. Get behind the guy he has been brill for us.

14 Dec 2020 20:32:32
Agree fifaguy morelos is only in the team either because he is giving his all and playing the role the manager wants him too. Otherwise he wouldn't be playing. Theirs a reason he is rangers and scotlands top goalscorer in european history and it certainly isn't because he is garbage. The guy is class and isn't scoring at the same rate as we aren't relying on him as much to be our main focal point. The guy always puts in a shift and the fact he sometimes has a face like a bulldod chewing a wasp is a good thing for me. It shows the guy has passion and cares. I also see him smiling and joining in the celebrations of other goalscorers but people don't point this out. Would u rather he was gutless like eduard over at the other mob who literally is a waste of a jersey. Morelos will guarantee u a shift huffy and passionate or not the guy wears his heart on his sleeve which ain't a bad thing. And he is a rangers player so let's back him. Probably the same guys who want rid as the ones who wanted rid of tav not too long ago. Support all our players. Esp ones who have literally written themselves into rangers history. In gerrard we trust. Support el Buffallo like our manager does.

14 Dec 2020 20:37:32
Sgl your bang on the money about norelos and his finishing in front of goal. His goal record over the past couple of seasons has been good but he just lacks that little bit of finess, bit of class to vary his finishing. Totally agree that most of his goals (scored a few crackers in the air to be fair, feyenoord springs to mind) are just hard drives at goal. If he had that bit of flair about him to mix it up he would have scored a lot more.

14 Dec 2020 21:16:59
Agree with Steven Gerrard loyal Morelos was never a great finisher he just seemed to do the job always rifled it man I don’t want to be controversial but I never seen him as a great centre forward number nine goalscorer x.

14 Dec 2020 21:19:48
Regardless of whether it's a new role or not his work outside the box has been good this season but he looks way short of confidence when shooting or in a position to.

That being said he was poor all round yesterday. He could probably do with being out of the team for a couple of games. Hopefully he rediscovers his form coming off the bench.

14 Dec 2020 21:22:13
The 'new role' must mix up the squad roles, a lot of defenders getting on the score sheet👍.

14 Dec 2020 21:29:11
Fergie, that was meant to say I couldn't agree more with what you said.

14 Dec 2020 21:31:39
Did itten not score two at fir park playing through the middle KJA9? Why is defoe not playing the fredo role when he is through the middle John?

Why would we reject 16mil if we wanted more but then play him in a role where he doesn't score as many which will drop his value to less than what we rejected. That doesn't make any sense. Why is only fredo playing this new role but defoe isn't? 👍.

14 Dec 2020 21:34:00
Its him who's been trying to leave mate, constantly for 2 years, I suppoted him at ibrox and abroad, until I got sick of his selfish and pathetic behaviour, had he been scottish he would have been slaughtered and cast aside,

14 Dec 2020 22:28:24
Still not answered questions. U have proved u r not the tactical genius you claimed to be. Coldo.

14 Dec 2020 23:19:54
He's been abysmal all season, some on here must be watching different games. Does missing embarrassing sitters come as part of the role? He's more of a nuisance to the team nevermind opponents.

14 Dec 2020 23:31:32
The one thing i do know even at the now tender age of 38,is jermain defoe is an absolute thoroughbred 👌
Easily the best/ most natural finisher at ibrox, who's clever movement in and around the box is still better than any other striker currently on our books 👌I can't sing this wee man's praises enough 👍Defoe has the full package still for me, although i do understand its game management with gerrard on when to play defoe! Our manager is managing defoe superbly well! Morelos who i'll reiterate i rate,
should absorb every ounce of defoe's full package to become that top striker and be able to play in better leagues during his career!

15 Dec 2020 01:07:17
Does missing embarrassing sitters come with this new role?

14 Dec 2020 18:12:30
Morelos - Reminds me of the person who wins the Lottery and has lots of money, friends evrywhere. He spends all his money and the "friends" desert him. Last year and the year before he had loads of "admirers". From last January he has not scored many and now he hasn't a friend on this site.

IMHO he is working a lot harder and is not an out and out striker. SG has him playing a different game.

14 Dec 2020 18:40:12
Good analogy blue toon.

14 Dec 2020 18:45:38
I am his friend 😂
I will back him to the hilt I love the guy.

14 Dec 2020 18:56:02
I love Morelos.
That will never change because he's having a barren spell in front of goal.
You've got to take his all round performance into consideration.

14 Dec 2020 20:16:07
They'll be saying this when he gets his move, if anyone will pay anything, he should be wearing a Rangers strip with pride and most importantly, Dignity, the boy has none of any, and the way his many many embarrassing times is simply forgotten even more as he adds to them,

14 Dec 2020 20:26:06
Moaners are going to moan.

Blue toon. Liked the analogy. There’s people on here that will never change there mind.
He would always be one of my first names on the team sheet, but if he gets a 6/ 10 like anyone else should be dropped. I’m all for 7/ 10 performances keeping there place.

14 Dec 2020 21:06:41
Got to laugh though.
All his Ex friends are the same ones thatgive it the "in Gerrard we trust" crap.

14 Dec 2020 21:37:09
I've got to laugh too, i know a couple of millionaires, 2 of whom are close friends, and one did win the lottery, but guess what they didn't do? They didn't spend all they're money they did however invest in property, now your analogy falls down completely on one basic point, the person your describing is in fact , a fool.

14 Dec 2020 21:48:48
Every striker on the planet go through these spells.

15 Dec 2020 00:18:55
What firing their elbows and forearms into people’s faces, or getting sent off in the most embarrassing situation,

Fulham v Liverpool - A Liverpool Perspective

14 Dec 2020 18:14:28
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Fulham v Liverpool - A Liverpool Perspective

14 Dec 2020 16:43:51
Hi guys, Just a thought on our selling posts on here, SG wants to thin the squad a little and the talk of Hagi going to be subject to any bid, in watching the famous this year we should Sell Alfie now. Each game he plays now for me just lowers his value? . Then leave the squad till summer no ins or out for us to leave the players to win us 55. We have strikers that can score already here doing well to date.

14 Dec 2020 17:03:53
Big cheeks can’t agree. Alf only one that stays fit. He will leave but let’s not do anything dramatic in January re outgoings.

14 Dec 2020 17:37:25
Agree John25, long way to go in this campaign and Morelos’ form and goalscoring touch will return. Just as he secured victory against Lozna at Ibrox predict he will score important goals in key games ahead. Will also restore his valuation ahead of summer exit.

14 Dec 2020 18:37:18
Think it be the likes of jones barker stewart that's leaving. maybe Middleton and king out on loan with recal option. would like to see paterson get 20 30 games out on loan too but would need cover right back position.

14 Dec 2020 18:55:42
Seems to me we have been waiting for Alf to hit form for a long long time, I think he will go in January.

14 Dec 2020 18:57:02
Davis Douglas u can’t have recall option between January and end of season.

14 Dec 2020 20:16:27
Tom I think we will try hold to summer, u less silly money,

Defoe too many hamstring injuries, itten still trying to get up to speed, roofe jury out re injuries. For me we need the full squad we have just now.

14 Dec 2020 20:52:21
Any see anybody bidding in January Tom, can u?

14 Dec 2020 21:38:47
I don't know guys, I only know how much he wants out of Scotland, the winter will not have a special place in his heart with a new child, that's why I said January.

14 Dec 2020 16:30:31
I said a few days ago that if I had to chose our opponents in the last 32 it would be either molde or Antwerp. Very winnable tie, on paper should beat them over both legs. We’re playing well and confidence is high. Hypothetically if we do get to the final I would love us to face off against Gattuso’s Napoli. Realistically I think we’ll get to the quarters but you never know. Hopefully we have some fans attending the games by then.

14 Dec 2020 17:59:48
Wanted molde as well but it's a decent draw. Could have been worse.

14 Dec 2020 16:27:10
afternoon bears . in my humble opinion we need fredo to bang in a few and boost his own moral and then get a good sell on price at the end of the season. i hope so anyway . i would definitely start him on wednesday night hopefully score a couple then start again saturday . i don't think punishing him for the stupidity on sunday by dropping him would be beneficial to him or to us? needs a good kick up the jacksy though !

14 Dec 2020 17:50:41
Briangersfan, i as you will probably know with my posts on here, have been a massive fan of alfredo all along 👍 But over the last couple of months, obviously by him not getting his move to lille in october, he's really looking even more sulky and as IF he's not really that bothered 🤔Now i don't know if this is the case with alfie, but for me as a supporter from the outside looking in, it looks like that and that for me is letting us the supporters down, his manager down and of course himself down! He has to be professional about this situation he finds himself in, knuckle down and he'll get his big move. If he doesn't knuckle down and continues as he is,
no club will pay anywhere near the transfer fee we would have got for him, several months ago 😞 Honestly guys, he needs to look long and hard as to how jermain defoe conducts himself, in every way! He needs to adopt a helluva lot of defoe's habits as that's the model pro, in every way. Over to you alfie and i honestly hope to god he can get his head right and get his career back on track and become the player we all know he can be. The psychological side of things where morelos is concerned is vital!

14 Dec 2020 18:33:18
SGL I agree with everything you said mate
It I don’t think he has it in him to do it unfortunately and could end up with a low end move and getting lost
After looking like he could go for millions and getting a cracking move
His own worst enemy time will tell if he can turn it around or disappears when he moves on.

14 Dec 2020 18:48:05
SGL he has always looked moody that is not a new thing.
Also to say he isn't bothered is ludicrous get a grip.

14 Dec 2020 19:08:13
2 years later and still talking about the flailing arms, deliberate elbows ridiculous challenges and extremely poor attempts at goal, yes, he’ll come good,

14 Dec 2020 19:17:12
Il now be attacked by the usual apologists, isn’t it about time you wants a striker who’s respectable guys, and not a child with an elbow habit, yesterday was simply typical and ridiculous, and anyone who still thinks he s a good finisher must be off they’re heads, but he’s done what a Rangers striker should do, minus the embarrassment, scoring in Scotland when you’re paid a fortune is a given, playing for Rangers requires something else.

14 Dec 2020 19:51:52
TT yesterday wasn’t an elbow no part of fredos elbow made contact with the Utd player it was his forearm.

14 Dec 2020 20:06:47
KJ they will not realise how good he was for us till he is gone. Yes his arms are a big issue, we won’t change that, look at Costa.

14 Dec 2020 21:40:54
Ok kj, it wasn't an elbow, it was only a forearm, do you feel better now.

14 Dec 2020 15:30:46
Royal Antwerp is a decent draw and they will provide a stiff challenge over 2 legs, but our confidence is high at this time, so, we just focus on one game at a time, and see where it takes us.

14 Dec 2020 16:29:02
Antwerp will be a challenge but we should be beating them! It’s a good draw with some of the ties hard especially for Man Utd✌️.

14 Dec 2020 15:07:42
Gerrard has a big decision to make. Lampard made one in dropping his captain for James. Itten has to be our number 9 starter. Morelos benched.

14 Dec 2020 15:40:26
kfraser, 100% my friend, Itten provides more for me at this time, Alfie has blown any chance of getting a decent move away from Scotland with his actions this season and to some extent last, yesterdays fore arm on Connolly could have cost us again if he'd been sent off.

14 Dec 2020 15:42:21
Itten has only shown us what he has been truly capable of when he was played as the main striker against Poznan.

14 Dec 2020 15:47:42
Agree potato he's a central striker wide he didn't look the same player. Can Gerrard change a winning team? He knows exactly what Alfies capable of as do we all he's having a torrid time at the moment but if Gerrard can get him firing we definitely win the league IMO.

14 Dec 2020 16:24:00
Start Itten as main striker on Wednesday with Morelos on the bench. Think Morelos from the bench is out supersub is way to go for the next few games.

14 Dec 2020 16:25:51
The current striker has only shown us nothing.

14 Dec 2020 18:47:37
It won’t matter what gerrard does card will be upgraded to a red, decision will be should rangers appeal.

14 Dec 2020 14:44:22
Tav going nowhere he has a job to finish at Ibrox. If he went he would tarnish his reputation and principles. Out with a bang at the end of the season maybe as a top scoring captain of a double winning team to keep them the best in the world possibly £30m.

14 Dec 2020 15:43:59
Money talks for both player and club. 👍
Rangers might get an offer they can't turn down.
Same with Tav at 29 - last chance for a huge final contract.

14 Dec 2020 16:29:57
Tag must be signed up ASAP 🇬🇧.

14 Dec 2020 19:26:30
As I said earlier, never amazes how little some people know about football markets, 30m my arse, nothing remotely like that will be paid eventually, and there’s very obvious reasons for that.

14 Dec 2020 14:42:18
Is the nxt round or rounds played over 2games ie home and away guys n dolls.

14 Dec 2020 15:03:25
Away first then return leg at ibrox.

14 Dec 2020 14:09:26
Hi

What a performance for Rangers on all fronts this season.

Breaking all sorts of records

Unbeaten and loads of clean sheets

Dominating Celtic

Our players wanted by others

Future player/ manager of the year

Top of both leagues

And a lot more

Like what I seeing so far!

14 Dec 2020 19:27:42
That’s

Smashing

M8.

14 Dec 2020 12:59:53
Who did celic get oh wait their shiet and out.

14 Dec 2020 20:39:49
Think they got Eastenders.
It's being shown BBC 1 at 8pm.
My timmy mates have been talking about it.
🤣🤣.

14 Dec 2020 12:59:36
So if we had been second in the group we would have drawn arsenal all good for me although arsenal would have been mouth watering.

14 Dec 2020 12:48:53
Leaked phone call by royal Antwerp to standard liege. can you give me any advice on rangers. play 2 goalkeepers and good luck as you'll need it 😂💙.

14 Dec 2020 12:35:09
We are drawing Royal Antwerp in the round of 32 in the Europa league. Meanwhile at that mobs AGM they’re talking about what? You’ve guessed it, Rangers. The only show in town.

14 Dec 2020 13:25:48
PB1, what will they do now that Res11 is no more? All that and the overwhelming votes to keep the current board will push a few of them over the edge.

14 Dec 2020 14:42:45
They beat Lille reserves and a poor Killie team and they are suddenly going to get 10 in a row again.

14 Dec 2020 12:29:28
So royal Antwerp? I think they should, on paper be very bearable. Think they done well in Spurs group and almost topped it however we have beat stronger teams over last few seasons. I'm very optimistic regarding that one then.

14 Dec 2020 14:34:43
Same points in the Belgian League as Standard Liege so we should have a great chance of going through. Good draw for travel too.

14 Dec 2020 12:25:44
Taking nothing for granted but getting royal antwerp in the europa league round of 32,is a very favourable draw for us and most definitely winable 👍🇬🇧.

14 Dec 2020 13:53:43
Antwerp are a bit like Arsenal this season. Playing really well in Europe and not so well in their own league. They are sitting one place above Liege on goal difference in 7th. Let’s not get carried away, some teams style just suits European football better. All of the teams are beatable but there could have been a couple of ties that would have been easier.

14 Dec 2020 14:30:04
Very most definitely, Steven Gerrard Loyal! By the way, did you see my post about playing for Lanarkshire schoolboys? I think it was said on here that you represented them in the 60s? So did I, and I wonder what year it was you played as we might know each other. Maybe you could name some of the boys you played beside and against to see if it was the same year? It would be great to hear from you.

14 Dec 2020 16:32:59
Tavson loyal, Coops played central midfield in the big Lanarkshire derbies back in the day.

15 Dec 2020 13:52:18
That's strange, Bankie, as 60s teams didn't have a 'central midfield', indeed the term hadn't been invented! I played inside left for my school, my district and my county, I still have programmes and letters from then, and I just wondered if the guy played around the same time. Seems not, because that's twice I've asked and got no reply.

14 Dec 2020 12:24:11
Royal Antwerp v rangers.
Defenitly can win this.

14 Dec 2020 12:26:20
That is a brilliant draw, davie👍🇬🇧.

14 Dec 2020 12:50:12
7th in the league 8 points off the top. I think it’s quite an easy draw tbh. With sounding obnoxious. I just think we should take care of them home and away.

14 Dec 2020 13:01:59
Good draw👍.

14 Dec 2020 14:18:56
Nothing easy in last 32 they beat Spurs at home drew with standard liege few weeks ago daft comment.

14 Dec 2020 14:27:37
I think we have done well in the Draw, great opportunity to progress, things are certainly coming together at last, well done to all concerned, , Rangers are back!

14 Dec 2020 12:23:40
Antwerp v rangers.

14 Dec 2020 12:31:49
Good draw John25 and certainly winnable. Recently drew with Standard Leige and lost to Spurs last week. A tie that Roofe and Hagi will relish.

14 Dec 2020 12:23:23
Good draw.

14 Dec 2020 12:42:47
Diamond draw.

14 Dec 2020 12:23:17
Antwerp.

14 Dec 2020 12:21:03
ANTWERP, HERE WE COME.

14 Dec 2020 11:52:15
Just seen neymar rolling past my house, must be a bad injury.

14 Dec 2020 12:24:24
Did anybody watch the game? I was waiting for PSG and Arsenal fur my coupon so had PSG game on my phone. I seen neymar rolling about n thought I could hear him crying so turned the volume up. He was actually crying like a child, real actual crying. I’ve never seen or heard a grown man cry like that before.

14 Dec 2020 18:05:28
Looked a bad injury mate. I think more upset at fact he's just back from broken ankle,

14 Dec 2020 11:46:31
I just watched the highlights of the Dundee United game on Sportscene and I thought the team won comfortably but should have won by more. The team seemed a little jaded, perhaps after Europe and Morelos continues to potentially be a liability. Had he been sent off for that blatant forearm smash we might have dropped points. I'd play Itten from the start on Wednesday and if he does well start him again against Motherwell. If Defoe had been brought on for the last 20 minutes or so he might have taken one of the chances we had. Still unbeaten and still looking very good. After Motherwell it is St Johnstone away, Hibs home and St Mirren away before the unwashed come to Ibrox.

14 Dec 2020 11:56:19
Agree with jaded comment, although they 'parked the bus', there was no zip to our play. Worrying thing for me is, it was about this time last year I made comments about us looking slow/ tired, I hope to h*ll it isn't going the same way.

14 Dec 2020 12:10:36
So do I BAR72! I'm putting it down to the European game last Thursday. Gerrard can freshen things up again over the next three games.

14 Dec 2020 12:30:08
Sure hope not guys. I couldn"t stomach that again. Tbh I think we have that grit and determination this season. The guys are digging in and it is much appreciated. The next few games will determine whether or not they become legends. It is that simple.

14 Dec 2020 13:07:13
But he wasn't sent off! 🤷
All this could have, should have patter is annoying.
You could analyze the full game and come up with plenty scenarios that could have affected the outcome of the game.
But they never, we won the game and move on to Wednesday.

14 Dec 2020 11:44:20
After this weekend Celtic pulled back a goal regarding the goal difference. Is this the come back everyone is waiting for.

14 Dec 2020 11:35:18
Hi

I thought Kilmarnock had a good chance to take something from the Celtic game.

But after watching the first half both teams looked poor, the second half Kilmarnock got worse.

Celtic deserved to win but their play was not much better than before.

Rangers were not as good as usual but never looked in trouble, should have scored more goals.

14 Dec 2020 12:31:14
Sounds like a fair assessment, though I didn't see any of their game.

14 Dec 2020 11:02:36
Just to note that this transfer window is the last window before players need work permits. to normally acquire work permits you need be a full international that's played a percentage of current international games.

14 Dec 2020 11:11:59
Good we won't end up with any duds from Mexico again.

14 Dec 2020 10:52:55
Really sad news about Gerard Houllier's passing! RIP Sir!

14 Dec 2020 11:21:57
Very sad. A gentleman and a fine manager. The Liverpool cup treble of 2001 was awesome with our own Steven Gerrard in the team!

14 Dec 2020 11:39:31
It certainly was Doiger! A very special year for Liverpool, Stevie G and Gary Mac at the ripe old age of 36!

14 Dec 2020 12:24:01
Yes just reiterating what you guys have all stated 😞Gerard Houllier was an absolute gentleman first and foremost and a terrific manager especially with liverpool 👌 Very sad to hear of gerard houllier's passing and 73 isn't old! Our very own steven gerrard had a terrific relationship with Mr. Houllier which you could see a mile off! He will be very sadly missed and i pass on my sincere condolences to gerard houllier's family and friends 🙏 God bless you all and rest easy gerard houllier🙏😞.

14 Dec 2020 09:31:48
Europa league draw today fingers crossed that we get a favourable draw.
It's also a very sad day for me as this is usually the day that my local has the Xmas party. Free drink and food all day but not this year. At least I'll not have a belter of a hangover tomorrow so there's a positive I suppose.

14 Dec 2020 10:21:27
I think on our day we can beat all non seeded teams but hopefuly a favourable draw. molde DC from norway would be ideal.

14 Dec 2020 10:27:26
I’d love to face Man Utd at the minute. Test ourselves against some of the best. If we win all the better and if not we concentrate on the league and cups. No negatives IMO.

14 Dec 2020 10:39:20
Ingerrardwetrust. man u are also seeded so we can't face them in this round.

14 Dec 2020 10:43:06
I gerrard can’t get Man Utd.

14 Dec 2020 11:06:21
The easier the draw the better for me.
I'd love the team to further our European adventure this season.

14 Dec 2020 11:12:44
That’s that wan oot the window then guys 😂 cheers for lettin me know, all the better then maybe get a favourable draw and make the next round, maybe get
Them then? I fancy playing them. Think it would be right.

14 Dec 2020 11:21:23
I would fancy our chances with anyone to be honest lads. Hopefully a kind draw for next couple of rounds then take it from there.

Formula 1: Abu Dhabi Talking Points

14 Dec 2020 09:43:11
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Formula 1: Abu Dhabi Talking Points

14 Dec 2020 09:16:18
So who do we all want in the draw? I'll go for molde.

14 Dec 2020 09:41:59
Don't really care who we draw Banxger mate, so long as Alfie does not start I'll be happy as we play better without him just now.

Hope he can get his mojo back soon as he has been brilliant for us until he wanted away .

Wonder how them over there would have fared against Lille had we taken the 16 million for him (just a thought) .

14 Dec 2020 09:42:11
I'd hope we get molde, slavia prague or wolfsberger in today's europa league last 32 draw. I'm just over the moon rangers are in the draw in the first place! I would like to avoid real sociedad, RB Salzburg and granada for now 🙏We don't have a particularly good european record against spanish teams and although granada are not as good/ daunting as real sociedad, i'd still rather we avoided granada also for now. At the end of the day we're in the competition and if we get a so called harder tie in the draw then so be it and we just get on with it 👍🇬🇧I believe we'll give anyone a game 👌.

14 Dec 2020 09:54:52
I'm wanting Slavia Prague 🤞.

14 Dec 2020 09:56:21
Slavia Prague!

14 Dec 2020 10:08:44
Krasnador, olympiakos or Israel team.

14 Dec 2020 10:40:25
Molde fc norway.

14 Dec 2020 07:50:44
Our game against st. mirren in the Betfred league cup quarter final on wednesday night
hopefully takes us closer to gerrard claiming his first piece of silverware, as rangers manager 🙏Have said before, once he/ our team win their first trophy, i truly think we'll go on to win a good few more 👍🇬🇧 Guys who do we think gerrard should play as our through the middle/ no.9 striker on wednesday night 🤔I'm saying jermain defoe with cedric itten also starting the game! If defoe had been playing against scumdee utd yesterday, he would have scored all alfredo's missed chances imo 👌The net would have been bulging and we would have won a lot easier than the scoreline suggested!

14 Dec 2020 08:12:49
I've been critical of merelos yesterday because of his elbow. think he should play first half just to try get on scoresheet against a lesser team.

14 Dec 2020 08:18:27
I agree SGL, I think Itten or Defoe need a run of games and are more likely at the minute to finish chances than Morelos who looks short of confidence. I’d maybe go with Itten against St Mirren through the middle and Defoe against Motherwell.

14 Dec 2020 08:35:31
Winning the cup would be brilliant.

14 Dec 2020 09:08:22
SG will go Morelos.

14 Dec 2020 09:12:10
Morelos becomes 4th striker in line after yesterday, make no mistake about it the referees will be out to get him now and there's only one person to blame and its himself.

14 Dec 2020 09:13:12
Defoe is our best finisher and his movement is best so I’d play him and itten.

14 Dec 2020 09:17:01
My issue with Itten is that he looks far better as the main striker like he was against Poznan.
When he plays with Defoe, he's more used wide as there is no way Defoe can run the channels at his age.
It depends how Gerrard decides to go.
Will he make his usual changes for cup games and leave his first 11 for the Motherwell game?
The good thing is any changes he does make do not leave us short.

14 Dec 2020 09:24:53
Since we are going to be wearing the new retro strips on Wed night it would be nice to give Ally Mcoist a start. Although he's nearly 83 he would have a better chance of scoring than Alfie at the moment.

14 Dec 2020 09:35:49
I said the same yesterday, sweep. The refs know he got away with one, so we all know what's coming next?
I'm still raging with him, but that was harsh 3 cheers. It was funny, but harsh! 🤣.

14 Dec 2020 09:54:33
If any of our players are not performing they get dropped yet morelos has been bad for last 6 or 7matches but gets picked regularly. The fact he's out of form and playing only devalues his selling price. can't see anyone wanting him.

14 Dec 2020 10:01:32
Itten not really that effetive unless plays through middle needs a run of games there. So him to start through middle.

14 Dec 2020 10:57:46
Said last year we should've sold him for 15 million because he would get found out at a higher level and we would get him back for 3 million, fact of the matter is he thinks he's higher than Rangers and Scottish football bur I actually think its his highest level.

14 Dec 2020 11:14:55
Morelos for me with Defoe coming back in for Motherwell at home.

14 Dec 2020 11:17:09
Itten starts for me with Morelos on the bench.

Review Of The Day 13th December 2020

14 Dec 2020 07:39:03
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 13th December 2020

13 Dec 2020 23:26:22
Our strikers need to score more regularly we can't rely on our defenders scoring all the time.

14 Dec 2020 06:55:24
Our main striker Morelos needs to start actually kicking the ball first since he had 2 fresh air swipes yesterday. Once he gets to grips with that I'm sure he will get a few goals. I'm quite happy if our defenders can keep scoring it makes a wee change from the norm especially if Tav can score more of they free kicks, that was a joy to watch.

14 Dec 2020 07:48:07
Gersfan
Nit picking. Don't care who scores just as long in blue. Itten scored beaut other night but so enjoying Tavs goals assists. Just shows strength in depth. Not striker issue.

14 Dec 2020 07:52:58
Need to play one who scores every week then.

14 Dec 2020 08:31:50
Keep seeing a mediocre striker who doesn't want to be here start, dreadful combination.

14 Dec 2020 09:18:08
No striker scores every week Tomthumb🤔.

14 Dec 2020 10:03:00
Most of our goals have come from midfield. Then defence then forwards.

14 Dec 2020 11:45:10
Last season loads complained midfield never scored enough, ch did not contribute, we relied on Alf and other forward players far too much.
This year forwards score less, midfielders scoring loads,
Ch contribute very well and let’s not forget tav, incredible scoring record.
It’s much better seeing goals from all over team, something like 16 different goal scorers.
Yet people still complain
It’s more difficult for opponents when goals are spread so widely.
I bet a few United players thought barisic would hit free kick up steps tav.
