I still think that midtjylland are better than legia warsaw and therefore the hardest we'll face,
outwith the group stages. I said when we were drawn against midtjylland that if we beat them, then i felt we would qualify for the group stages.

I honestly don't see how we need to sign leicester city's welsh midfielder andy king, on a season long loan deal. We're well stocked in the midfield area. I would be happy with another striker and a left back.

Common john 25.I'm over the moon the job stevie G is doing but most would agree that we're top heavy with midfielders. Its different to Cambiger saying we didn't need to sign helander. We did need to sign helander as that's 4 good centre halfs that a club of our size needs.

No I don’t. Six midfielders is right for a full season. King, Davis, Docherty Kamara, Aribo, Jack. Long season lots of games. If we have quality to bring in hopefully does not affect team.
Already we r seeing niggling injuries to Davis, jack and Kamara, imagine losing two off them for say six games, through in a suspension we r then short.
Everyone comes on here saying we need a left back, we have three so six midfielders is fine.
And before anyone comes back and says Stewart and Arfield are midfielders write to SG as he says they are forward players.
We can’t have enough good players if we r to win the league.

I personally like Polster folks. Pre season I though he looked quite strong and capable. Just wish he could slot in at left back because I wouldn't want to see him out on loan for the sake of it.

Couple of things the now. I’ve read through the official statement regarding the kilmarnock game and I must say we have put the boot into a few names from the bbc and from kilmarnock but it was done in a professional manner. Also regarding Celtic going out last night I might not be as delighted as everyone else. I’d have preferred them to go through and take a hammering in the group stage instead as it helps the national coefficient. Ideally I’d have had them getting to the group stage of the champs league with us and Aberdeen making the Europa league group stage. Probably get slaughtered because people like to slaughter opinions they disagree with.

Them raking in 30m plus is not a good thing for us mate. We cannot close the gap on them when they are pulling in that kind of money. A boost in the coeffient is all well and good but it would come at a huge cost to ourselves. I am delighted they are out. Infact, delighted don't cover half of the happiness I am feeling right now.

I understand your point about the co-efficient which has been decimated since we were demoted to league 2 and the main club to benefit from that scenario are now reaping the rewards of that decision. On the other hand, from our point of view it’s definitely the best thing as it limits their access to cash from the CL and will encourage them to find other ways to balance the books to service their massive salary bill.

This will result in the Tierney money being mostly stashed in the biscuit tin and possibly £10m spent on panic buys in the coming weeks. It has an impact on us as all as we will only get tougher draws for the future but in the short term the less money they bring in the better in order to have a level playing field financially!

We will not lose tomorrow like Celtic. Difference is we controlled the game in Denmark, we were the better team, but although Celtic managed a draw in Romania they did not boss the game, it was 50/ 50 and Cluj were always dangerous. I saw last nights result coming. Rangers will go through no danger.

Regards to your question it was discusses on sky other day after a var decision chalked off a goal I think in man City game, anyhow it stated that any goal in or around the box that has had a handball of any form deliberately or not is to be deemed not a goal,

It gets into it all in detail am sure u could maybe find a reply of the var section on I think Sunday Monday or Tuesday with the ex ref dermot the bald guy, it's a new thing obvs with var this season in epl so am sure there will be some form of recording to watch on sky sports player or something

I gave up after listening to them go on and on like they do so switched over but as I say it goes into the rule changes regarding handballs.

Morning Bears. I've a nice smug grin on my face this morning. The season ahead is looking good for us. Thank god Lennon stayed at the midden heap. However, we must get through our next game first and never mind what they do. One observation. I know if it was us we would happily take it, but for the 2nd year in a row, the unwashed have been dumped out of the CL but get another bite at the cherry in the Europa League qualifiers. Doesn't seem right.
