The shares issue is a joke. Yes, we wear blue tinted glasses but we are not all mugs. Let us see a business plan showing trading position and investment, then potential income and viabilty. Then maybe we should consider buying shares, until then we should look after ourselves.

Why is McCoist making statements on matters of finance? is he just getting involved now theres some money to be had (the memories of Bain and co come flooding back) he has said all along that he is only involved in the football side but now they want us to buy shares again he has something to say. No wonder he wont walk away! How much of our hard earned money will find its way into Super Allys bank account I wonder?

The Rangers Fans Fighting Fund bought Charles Green's Consortium a football pitch.
I have to buy a piece of that pitch all over again with a share?

I posted a long time ago that Ally had to now distance himself from the fiscal side of The Rangers. After reading of his 5% shareholding, after the flotation of course,i asked did he purchase this stake or did Mr Green gift these in return for support in selling season tickets. From a very non committed stance Ally had a polar shift in attitude soon after his shareholding was revealed. AB.
Agree27

What a total nonsense some of you lot spout on here. Whatever you think about Ally's managerial ability he is rangers through and through. To question if he would put greed before the club is total crap - you all want to have a right good look at yourselves!

He is an employee of the club. Why shouldnt he promote the club. It's his job. Just like sir Alex sticks up for all things united rightly or wrongly.

Ally is very weak right now. Green holds his fate in his hands. Ally will do whatever Green asks. If Ally is sacked before He can turn it around, he won't get another manager position anywhere.

Correct me if i am wrong is this the same mccoist that backed craig whyte so his word means nout he should be contretead on the manager side well thats if u can call him a manger more like a spokesman for the men above him
Agree9

Oh yeah. He'll keep his job for ever if he Slags off his boss. I think the transfer activity in both windows under whyte tells you what ally really thought of him. He stitched him up in both windows and then the rest is history.

Celtic fan. Probably wont be posted. I would just like to say that I hope you get beat every time you play in Scotland. Sounds bad, but that's local rivalry. At the end if the day I am a Celtic fan and my interest was us winning and you getting beat. I think that's normal.
I do not hate the Gers, I am a member of a Celtic club, but, hey, I support Celtic. 50% of my mates are Gers fans. They have had the pish ripped out of them for 8 months, no more. Lifes too short. Can see mega bitterness starting (CG a lot to blame), lets cut the crap. I have said before, nobody I know made money out of this corruption, lets think about Scottish football. It's all we have.

Yes I am like you I like to see Celtic defeated anytime they play anywhere in the world.I am not bigoted simply don't want success for Celtic. Regards bitterness it is alive and kicking including your CEO BBC and Celtic minded journalists who take every opportunity to put the boot in to rangers .concern about Scottish football has been rife it is in terminal decline SPL clubs struggling to stay afloat when winter weather, recession,Christmas expense are factored in .tv deal still not signed as I said I don't hate Celtic I just feel that supporters will lose interest in a one horse race

P L fights Celtic's corner nothing more. In the BBC sport department you don't get a job unless you are from the dark-side. As for the Scottish press if they had not been eating so much succulent lamb your x club would still be in existence.

According to the guys on paper talk today- Traynor, English etc- they said the deal has not been signed, they were led to believe it had already been signed, not the case. Again, I say according to them.

'The tv deal has been signed'
Has anyone got any proof that the deal has been signed. As I said earlier, JimTraynor and his cronies said the deal had NOT actually been signed on the radio today. Fair enough disagreeing with it, but can someoe come out with evidence that it has been signed.
Agree0

The tv deal was signed for 12mths , then it was to be reviewed again, both sfa/spl were and still are involved with re-vamping our leagues. once the new set up is set in stone, ie spl1 spl2 & sfl league then the new tv deal will be tied up.

@1 . I see you never came back with the identity of the Celtic minded journos . Could it be the ones who are calling for the head of Levein but giving your own manager an easy ride . Or maybe the ones who's headlines after Celtic lost a couple of per season friendlies had a cracked Celtic crest above them but never had acracked Rangers one all through your debacle . Or maybe the ones who showed a photo of Fergus and Saddam and asked which one was the dictator , don't think they done it with Chuckles . I don't buy every newspaper so maybe I'm reading the Rangers minded ones.........DH {Ed039's Note - Have you been reading the papers properly? I have seen so many cracked Rangers crests in the press since February I was starting to think it was the real one. Get real)

@10. Careful, you are bordering on paranoia.....that's a word you lot have recently attached to us. If either of the old firm teams are/were in trouble, then the press will have a field day, after all they have papers to sell. I don't believe that either side of the old firm gets preferential treatment from the media, hacks are vultures and will pick the bones of anything they get wind of. {Ed039's Note - Great post)

What top flight exactly ......?? Mr Greene has stated quite catagorically ( though somewhat innacuratley ) that his Rangers have no wish ever to be part of the SPL from which the were ' thrown out of ' presumably electing to forever dwell in the first division which can hardly be defined as ' top level ' .

Complete nonsense. You reckon all Mr Green has done is good for Rangers? I would love you to cite an example.Yes he put up the money to buy the assets of the club in administration, but in the form of a loan from his investors.Since then what has he done? He has changed in his attitude from hard headed businessman to rabble rouser in chief to sell season tickets. He has made statement after statement and,to my knowledge has yet to back any meaning full one up.From new strip sponsors to Ally getting a 25 year deal to the European league, all this with no audited, signed off accounts and a share flotation on the way.Do the math mate,he needs to answer serious questions before he takes any fans cash.AB

Green sees £60 million income in few years when back at top/europe...?
But not one word of buying players to achieve this.... need raft of £10 million pound each players, and all to remain fit for a season, no injuries.....
There is no pot of gold in football, most teams run as smallscale debts, funded by directors living a dream.
Gers different, 40,000 fans who will fun the dream as well......

To the guy that fans own nothing and should invest, get real I had shares in the old club also a debenture we know what happened to them. So don't think I'll be rushing into Greens share issue until I see the prospectus. When I invested in Rangers before I wasn't looking for returns from it, but was hoping it would be good for the club. The old regime put paid to that as the adage goes Once bitten Twice shy. What I know of the loudmouth that is in charge of our club ( and it is our club ) I will be very wary of hastily investing any more till he comes clean. He talks to the fans but doesn't listen to them. I think we should all be wary. At the end of the day it is not an investment but a donation to a guy who says he will top up the £20m issue, if he has that money to throw about why the big rush
Unless there are issues he is not telling.

Is there now anybody left who actually backs Charles Green? I was very critical of the so called"Rangers men" consortia as i thought they had the wealth to stop the administration and liquidation process, and therefore save the historic timeline of the club. However when Mr Green pitched up i thought he might just be what was needed,a hard nosed businessman who would make the tough decisions and steer the club to financial security. Sadly it seems he is indeed here for a quick turnover of supporters cash, sell on a more financially stable business model and move on.
Looking back this whole "they all hate us" nonsense started because he needed to sell season tickets, you might say that was fair enough as the Rangers fans were deeply suspicious after the Whyte and Murray years.Since then it has been laughable statements making himself and Rangers look stupid and petty.I look forward to seeing his share prospectus, with no audited signed off accounts as yet,as i feel it may have some hidden secrets.Sorry Mr Green to many unanswered questions for me. AB.

In the business world you wait until you hear a lie from the guy. Then you know you're dealing with someone dishonest. This guy has lies upon lies.
The fans don't have enough money to provide for operating a massive club with the wages and overhead bills AND provide the expected millions in profit to his consortium. If newco is to survive, there can be no money taken out the club and costs cut.(redundancies).

A goal that should have been, we shouldn't have needed it!
It can't be the players, they are from England's elite league and scotland's too!
Cannae win at home, cannae beat a really poor Wales team. They should have had a penalty and had 2 good chances.

We might have had a second goal. the Adam cross for Fletcher might not have gone out but it was certainly close. however, what goes around comes around. at Anfield in 1977 Wales were cheated. Jordan played handball and we got a penalty ! Also on the night when Jock Stein died, We got a soft penalty which was highly debatable. The ball hit Phillips arm , he certainly didnt play the ball. Get over it and stop crying. We were good tonight but were beaten because Wales had one exceptional player! END of !

SPL maybe a poor league but is still the strongest league in the country, it was poor when your predecessors played in it also, also the players on show at last nights game are better than any player playing in the irn bru leagues, these little sly digs at Commons and Ledley, you would kill to have players like that in your team right now, Commons has been the most outstanding player in the country so far this season, that is FACT

Mr jhedi answer to that is not any better or worse ,scottish football has been rubbish and going downhill for years and the spl is worse now without rangers ,just see what the end result will be this season with celtic winning the league ,do you think the spl fans have much to look forward to in season 13/14 ? doug t.s.o

You can have a go back at my observation about Commons or Ledley but the fact remains both were appalling last night.
