Use our rumours form to send us rangers transfer rumours.

13 May 2018 22:19:55
To say it’s been an eventful season would be a understatement unfortunately not for the right reasons. but on a high note season is finally over, Stevie G is our new manger and worth pointing out we only were 12 points behind them. so imagine we’re we can go with a coach like sg with a good team off players! anyway can’t wait for June 1st already and the potential names we could sign. Hopefully it’ll be the start on our road back to glory 🙌🏻

anyway guys hope you’s all have a good summer catch’s you all next season!

14 May 2018 00:13:21
why is everyone so happy we have Stevie G as our manager? please tell me.

his last 5 games as under 20s he's lost. and I'm pretty sure that under 20s team could wack us about the park.

telling you the now don't expect euro league this year. And I bet first old firm game when Celtic beat us, all fans will call for Stevie G to be out, and ruin the guys reputation
and honours as a player. Mark my words on this.

14 May 2018 08:09:58
Away and turn your xbox back on!

14 May 2018 08:22:18
Fifaguy it's the under 18's he was in charge off so your wrong away back into the shadows and howl at the moon

13 May 2018 22:02:00
Well the season is finally over one manager and 2 caretaker managers. finished 3rd in a poor division fans will be divided on this. every player in Britain is signing for next season from rooney to torres. We now must get behind the board and Stevie G let us do our business quietly and get a team to challenge next season now is the time to move on and bring the good times back to rangers . whoever goes and comes were the mighty glasgow rangers and you should never forget that.

14 May 2018 18:36:59
Getting behind SG and the team no doubt but getting behind the board? How about the board getting behind the fans after all the board brought in Caixinha which sent us backwards. Murty was a company man doing his best and got slagged off and then undermined before the first Celtic game by King in order to sell new season tickets.
However though all of this Mark Allen gets a free ride. Isn't he the "Director of Football" and has been with us a year so has been responsible for all signings since then and indirectly performance?

14 May 2018 18:47:12
Torres plays in Spain pal

13 May 2018 21:16:23
Honestly thought when Russell Martin joined he would be a half decent signing.

My word was I wrong, I have to put him in the bracket of worst defenders I've seen at this club.

13 May 2018 22:46:12
How he ever played in the EPL and got capped for Scotland is beyond me. Was delighted when he came up here, thought he would shore us up but sadly he only made it worse. Hope his bags are packed. All the best for the future Russell you just couldn’t hack it with us.

14 May 2018 00:11:42
A knew he wasn't good enough. a said it on here before he signed but a lot of people were disagreeing with me.

14 May 2018 13:30:53
Hands up, I really thought he would have been a good signing.
Mccrorie the goalkeeper man of tournament in Germany, he will play alongside his brother in first team

13 May 2018 20:56:59
Rossiter was immense today . an awful lot of bears saying future captain and I agree . Hope we get a chance to see him with mcorrie. jack . doc . well done son and well done for shaking allen's hand after he nearly crippled you . Lennon would have spat in his face.

14 May 2018 08:54:56
Rossiter showed that he can be a future legend at Ibrox by shaking Allens hand, by doing that he has actually shown Allen that he is better than him and has the edge on him psychologically,
Basically he is saying to Allen. sorry son you are not good enough to intimidate me, well done Jordan Rossiter

13 May 2018 20:04:22
Ok stick with me on this one. The season is over and we finished 12 points behind the eastenders. Now take a look at what happened down south. Man Utd finished a massive 19 points behind City. Do they class that as a massive gap? Do they call that a total failure of a season. The gap is not as big as they make out and I'm confident that with a few wise additions Stevie G will make a go of things next season.

13 May 2018 22:15:43
Did Man City beat Man Utd 5-0 and 4-0? Have Man Utd not got to a national cup final? Our season has been a disaster no cup finals and finishing behind Aberdeen who have a much smaller budget. If you don’t think the gap is massive your delusional

13 May 2018 22:53:42
@AD - so you don't think being within 12 points of celtic with the supposedly ' worst ' Rangers team ever is any way positive? Factor in the disaster of Pedro's reign and signings and finishing the season with 2 different caretaker managers then we have too be optimistic. Let's see what signings Gerrard makes or even if he can improve what we already have.

14 May 2018 02:06:04
UJ. We were only 3 points better off than last year. The only reason we were closer is because Celtic were 24 points worse than last year. And we certainly didn't do much to take those points off them.

14 May 2018 11:52:00
Parky. The league is stronger hibs took 7 points of celtic. So in my view in a stronger league we have more points and celtiic considerably less . !

13 May 2018 19:22:03
Scott allen should have been red carded today but it might be a good thing cause rossiter never made a big deal about it he just got up shook his hand and carried on a lot of player who have had the injuries he's had would have crumbled he showed he's got loads of heart skill and determination if we can keep him fit he's one who can make a difference.

13 May 2018 18:52:20
Players I would keep:

Alvez
McCrorie
Docherty
Rossiter
Jack
Tav
Candieas
Murphy
John
Morelos

Wouldnt be fussed if anybody else left.

13 May 2018 19:52:22
Wouldn’t keep Candeias he is rotten. Another totally annoymus performance again today. Very average player

13 May 2018 20:27:51
Follow I Had a pen and paper out going through the squad today before the game with a pal and got to say I had the exact same players that you say to keep apart from I also had anwick to stay he is a decent number 2 to have but for me your spot on.

13 May 2018 20:37:56
I agree he has been quite recently mate but over the season he has arguably been our best player. Deserves to stay I think.

13 May 2018 22:14:59
Don't get the hype some people have for candeias if he is what some fans like and accept we have no ambition

13 May 2018 22:17:38
Follow. we. will

Well if he has been the best we have had this season then no wonder it’s been a disaster. The guy is rank rotten and we need far better than him to compete

13 May 2018 22:43:54
Spot on Arthur

13 May 2018 18:41:18
Good game to watch. Was always going to mean not a lot as Aberdeen had a great chance of winning before a ball was kicked. Our results against powers teams gave them that chance Rodgers just helped. Anyway. If I ran onto the pitch the way Lennon did I would be in the jail for trying to incite a riot. I'm sure his impeccable record in Scottish football will save him a ban or a fine. As for the Scott Allen tackle. Lennon would be proud.

13 May 2018 19:48:10
How Scott allan the so called bluenose did not get a straight red card is utterly beyond me! That was a horrific challenge that given rossiters terrible luck with bad injuries cuda finished him off for good!
Dallas was 5 yards away! How can you not give that a red! Incompetent hopeless arseholes. Rossiter was great today. Hopefully he gets an excellent preseason Behind him. Season is over. let's GO!

13 May 2018 20:24:59
Wholeheartedly agree guts! That poltis who goes by the name of scott allan, most definitely should have received a straight red card, to what was a career ending scissor challenge, on young jordan rossiter! I also agree that if rossiter is over his injuries then imo he could be the new glasgow rangers captain! He's a superb midfielder who steven gerrard rates to the hilt! Stevie g could build his new look rangers midfield around rossiter!

13 May 2018 18:49:27
Ive been reading posts regarding Cummings, very mixed views. In my opinion he is not good enough for Rangers and i think we should be aiming higher. i'm going to ask Ed what our supporters think. Do we want Cummings in our team, yeah or nae?

{Ed033's Note -

Jason Cummings Poll

13 May 2018 19:26:37
I'm 50/ 50. If we can get him on the cheap then yeah. Anything much more than 500k-600k then no

13 May 2018 19:33:19
I think he needs a chance. He hasn’t had a decent run of games since he got here and he’s been played up front as lone striker which doesn’t suit him one bit. If he has someone along side him doing the dirty work I think he’ll be worth the investment

13 May 2018 20:29:26
It depends on the system steven gerrard wants to adopt at rangers, imo if its worth holding onto jason cummings or not guys! Cummings can't play the lone striker role and is suited to playing in a partnership of 2 up front!

13 May 2018 20:35:50
I like many others have a huge soft spot for Cummings. Having said that, I think we need better, much better. All the talk has been about Solanke, Ings and similar players and that's the standard we have to be aiming for. We need a huge step up in quality and the board have recognised this and are banking on Gerrard being able to attract them.

13 May 2018 20:47:19
cummings would be a good addition to the squad if he could get himself fit and sharp

13 May 2018 22:01:21
Defo keep. Big fan of cummings. Positive and a character that can score goals.

13 May 2018 22:57:03
He is a good character to have around but we need better I'm afraid.

13 May 2018 18:32:17
Glad that the Season is done with now hopefully we get a brand new defence next year
Would only keep Tav (unless a bid of around 5m comes in) and John. Fod can go and would keep Alnwick but fear he will move on to become 1st choice else where. So Kelly and McCorrie to fight it out for number 2 and 3 keepers.

13 May 2018 18:52:24
£5m lol - brilliant! I guess we’ll be keeping him then :-)

13 May 2018 19:38:33
Tavs deffinetly worth 5 million still think he would be even better on the right wing

13 May 2018 22:19:13
There is no chance of getting £5m for Tavernier. That’s just fantasy football

14 May 2018 00:45:11
Never will we get 5m for Tav. Personally would keep him. New manager might get best because do see potential.

13 May 2018 18:31:23
Im reading in the papers that Gerrard has shown an interest in McBurnie and McGinn. So does Gerrard phone the papers to keep them in touch or is it a total guess or fabricated nonsense?

13 May 2018 19:04:32
the majority of the media are the lowest of the low

they peddle deliberate lies to the gullible for profit

‘clarke knocks back gers approach’

clark himself - ‘utter lies I was never even offered iob’

nuff said

13 May 2018 18:18:18
It's been a hard old season with the Management changes and I am glad to see the back of it! Maybe as a nuetral today's game would have been good to watch but as a teddy it really was torture and I didn't enjoy it at all! Onwards and upwards with Stevie G 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧.

13 May 2018 17:54:43
Well that's it season over. So many posts recently on who stays and who goes. Only man who will decide that is Mr Gerard and the board. We have soo many players on contracts that we have not got a choice but to keep or see if the board will pay them off . If you look over the road there was no massive cull as all thought when delia left because a good manager managed to get the best out of the players. I feel we have a lot of players like this . I'm sure Mr g has his mind made up already . Whatever he does a new captain has to be priority.

13 May 2018 18:15:30
C. F. Bear the squad will be unrecognisable from this season I fully expect we need a major clear out!

13 May 2018 18:54:28
No major clear out, that strategy plays a part in the issues we’ve had of late, the players need better coached and fans off their back. Add 4 quality players and we’ll be up there next season!

13 May 2018 20:32:18
A fit and injury free jordan rossiter, must be in with a helluva shout, to become the new rangers captain! Don't you think fellow bears?

14 May 2018 01:54:38
Definatly. pure class. just stay fit lad. And we have won a watch

13 May 2018 17:33:49
popcorn teeth thinks he is beyond punishment and the whole world is against him.
Out of all the SPL managers he's is nothing more the a spoilt, neddish twit who is so low in the evolution line that frog spawn has a greater respect. His pitch invasion, and should be dealt with by Police Scotland was nothing to do with his team's result, but that he knew Aberdeen had won ( Oops handed) a victory against Celtic.

If I was a HIBS supporter and bearing on mind his comments after the hearts game, I would be glad to see the back of him.

Hi bees do you want a Manager to hold your directors to ransom and behave in this manner or do you want success. It's your choice!

13 May 2018 18:07:33
Don't care one bit about Lennon or Hibs to be honest. Great game of football to watch today, glad the seasons over and the new season is something we should all be bussing about.

13 May 2018 18:09:32
Do you not thinking us as Rangers fans have more pressing issues that what he does? He is irrelevant

13 May 2018 18:09:50
What a bitter post. Get a grip you clown

13 May 2018 18:10:30
Hibs released a video/ DVD of a European fixture against Athens that they actually lost!
This is a side that has a history of celebrating failure! Lenny is just keeping up their tradition.

But honestly we are rangers, who cares what they are doing?

13 May 2018 18:55:05
I find it amusing that popcorn teeth deemed 4th place as a failure but yet today ran about celebrating his team finishing forth! HORRIble man with no respect and no dignity!

13 May 2018 22:31:02
Have always known loony lenny was a chancer. But the disappointment in us today being 3-0 down then 5-3 up only to get a 5-5 draw reminded me that's been the case for us the past few seasons.
Roll on next season and Stevie G.

13 May 2018 17:29:55
Curtain down chaps!
Assessment of season?
Well given the disaster that was caixhana and the bulk of his signingz coupled with a run of injuries i think there has been progress albeit small.
Scored 20 more goals. Got 3 more points. gap with celtic reduced from 39 points to 12. Gap with aberdeen down from 9 to 3
Small steps . 2 good centre halfs wil make a huge difference
All the best.

13 May 2018 18:10:45
The season has been awful and I’m glad it’s over. We need more than just 2 centre halves and need yet another clearout

13 May 2018 17:20:04
Moving onto next season if tavanier is to be in our team it has to be in a back five. He's never a proper defender . I would be happy having him and John in a five but he can't continue in a 4.

13 May 2018 17:51:59
Surely that is Russell Martins last game. Norwich must be spewing that he's on his way back. He is a dreadful defender.

13 May 2018 18:06:59
Jaws awfull doesn't even cover it. I've said this for months how he gets a game in front of cardoso I will never know. Cardoso not the greatest either but Martin up there with worst we have had.

13 May 2018 18:13:20
Jaws, i can't recall Martin having a decent game, never mind a good game for Rangers. Another poor signing. I must admit, i was very wary of Gerrard being our next manager but as time passes i'm quite excited by it now. He will demand high standards and i'd imagine will not accept slackers. i'm sure he will attract a higher quality of player. Positive and exciting times ahead.

13 May 2018 23:16:12
C. f bear- great point. I agree that Cardoso isn't the greatest but he is certainly better than Martin. Alves definitely is. Makes you wonder why we have been playing a loan signing rather than our own. I think we have been trying to sicken them into wanting a move tbh.

13 May 2018 16:28:24
Just been looking around the internet and stumbled across a story about a young (17) England player called Bobby Duncan. He was at Man City and is now at Liverpool. Well he only SGs cousin and a pretty bright prospect as a centre forward. I wonder if he's on the Radar. 17 is a critical age for a youngster and needs to get that real development under his belt to go on to be a success. His twitter page on the 4th and 10th reads let's GOOOOOOO. I wonder, what do you reckon bears?

13 May 2018 17:36:23
By the time he is ready to play, success or not SG will have moved on.

Why develop such young players for other teams to reap the rewards

13 May 2018 18:51:59
Fair comment Bluebells. Unfortunately It will be part of our business model to develop some players and then sell on. A 17 year old at Liverpool will not get 1st team football. At Rangers the lad over SGs 4 year period could get game time and let's just say he showed real promise at 19 after 2 years with us, sign for another 4 and sell on when he is 20/ 21. that's what will probably happen to Jordan Rossiter if he stays fit for more than one game.

There will be some real potential gems out there at the 16 to 19 bracket that will never develop into top pros because of the way the game is in England and other rich leagues. They need top competition at that age to make the transition. I posted I while back about Dutch football.

According to a Dutch Journo That why they used to be great as their youngsters were blooded young and developed into top pros and they had a production line of them which we benefited from. Now the young talent is bought up by rich clubs hoping say 1 out of the 20 will work out and the other 19 will be lost in the wilderness and will never see top flight football.

So hopefully we will see the fruits of Rangers efforts to develop our youngsters via the new game set up against top euro opponents. IMO we will see a raft of our own players coming through in 2 to 3 years time.

I know bit long winded.

Targets, wishesand hopes for next season bears?
1. Win the league or be very close, no more than 6 points behind
2. Beat Celtic at least twice
3. Win a cup
4. Get to the Euro group stage
5. Put Aberdeen and Hibs in their place
6. Draw Dundee utd in a cup at Ibrox and slash the ticket allocation and embarrass them on the pitch.
7. Skirtel V Scott Allan.
8. A total top signing that catches everyone out, eg Fernando T
9. Get some refereeing decisions, I know i'm on the glue.

Would anybody like to add to my bucket list, is there any team/ player out there you wish to humble.

13 May 2018 16:24:14
Referee was shocking today how he felt Allans assault on rossiter was only deserving of a yellow card only he knows I'd assume based on naisy tackle on the cardboard gangster the other week the compliance officer will take suitable action?

13 May 2018 16:45:49
What part of this don't you agree with? Unbelievable every member of tv and radio pundits say straight red why do you disagree?

13 May 2018 17:13:16
C'mon God's 11.the disagreers are bog trotters, who on this day their team lifts the spl trophy are on here reading what we are saying.
All I can say about today is I hope and pray we get into the position they were in today. Karmas a b*tch!

13 May 2018 17:13:19
That’s cause most disagrees on here are Celtic fans trolling .

13 May 2018 16:23:12
I was a little annoyed when Bates agreed to leave but judging by his recent performances, I don't think he will be any great loss. A much higher quality of center back is needed I'm order to progress.

We really are miles behind though. I think if there's any chance of us stopping 10 in a row then Gerrard needs to do what O'Neil did with Celtic and just go crazy on physical players. Get some absolute units in who can boss Celtic. We are far too small and timid to ever mount a challange. Fill the team with 6'4 beasts and we might have a chance.

13 May 2018 15:33:47
Nd think on the part of the game today he played Rossiter is a shoe in to Gerrard's team next season if he can stay fit and I also really expect him to be made club captain he was a very cool head on the pitch today and telling other to keepmthe head and also as he was going off still giving his support and advice and this from a 21yo can see if Gerrard is a success and Rossiter Satya injury free both will end up back at Liverpool as gaffer and captain in the future.

13 May 2018 15:27:14
Oh aye and as for bates he's not going to be any sort of loss totally woeful although there were others even worse.

13 May 2018 15:23:50
Allan should have been off and tbh wouldn't take him now if he offered to play for free bad decision to joint them a few years ago as has been proved but he now seems to have built a mentality for screw rangers and everything they stand for so let him rot because before long the league title trpophy will be back at the Brox where it belongs. There through the good time still here through the bad but we are Rangers Now, Then, Forever.

13 May 2018 16:30:52
Forever in Celtic and Aberdeens shadow 😂

13 May 2018 15:18:29
Allan should have been of after that challenge on Rossiter but have to say good game to end the season on as it didn't really matter in the end of we won or not the other games we're over and we were stuck in 3rd but I'm expecting big things next season we've now had our 2 seasons

13 May 2018 16:09:35
Tommyj79, i'm surprised at your comment "it didn't really matter in the end if we won or not " We are Rangers and we want to win every game. We pay a lot of money to see our team and our team get paid a lot of money. So for that reason i cannot share your comment.

13 May 2018 16:14:34
Allan red, holts first yellow wasn't, we should have had a penalty for hand ball, Aberdeen not a penalty against us. All big costly decisions in just 2 matches all against us. Something has to be done now about referees in Scotland. But f, it roll on next season under gerrard. 🇬🇧

13 May 2018 16:35:50
Totally agree about the refs last 2 games have been shocking if it were the smellies getting this treatment you would not here the end off it, they have cost us second spot in the end! I know we have dropped 2 many points at ibrox but we been stitched up by the refs!

13 May 2018 15:10:06
Although i think Lennon is a decent manager i can't help but laugh at him. Last week the dummy and all the toys were out because he couldn't beat Hearts. Today he's running on the pitch, celebrating, as if he's just won the league. What a clown!

13 May 2018 16:27:03
Just a slavering arse who can't take it. Made a rigut old arse of himself again

13 May 2018 16:38:23
Now I’m no fan of Lennon, I guarantee that I have the same opinion on most of this sites followers about him. But he is Celtic through and through, that shouldn’t be a shock.

But our fans gave him pelters for 90 minutes yet we get outraged when he gives us a little bit back. Honestly. who cares what this man does?

I love the banter and the winding up our opponents part of being a rangers fan but if we aren’t willing to take as good as give then I honestly think any fun in football is a lost cause.

13 May 2018 15:01:51
It's what they do never defeated always cheated but I have to say Holt is sent off rightly so how is Scott Allan still on the Park after the tackle on Rossiter? Referee in a great position.

Again in a great position why does he not give a penalty for hand ball?

Game against Aberdeen never a penalty once more referee in a great position.

This is why Scottish referees don't get as high a salary as there English colleagues.

Never seen a man celebrate a draw at home like Lennon there you go it's against the Glasgow Rangers I suppose .

Glad the season is over Mr Gerrard will have plenty of ammunition to go to the board and demand funds for defenders .

Thank god Russell Martin isn't our player and Bates is going he will be back in Scotland within a year .

Silver linings of the season Dundee Utd remain in the Championship .

Aberdeen beat Celtic at parkhead for the first time sins 2004 and it's Celtics first home game of the season . coincidence?

I'm not so sure .

13 May 2018 15:01:05
Yet again we may have lost one of midfielders through shocking tackles.
Dorrans then Jack and now Rossiter. No red card shown for any of them. Now today we end with a red, a stone wall penalty/ handball not given and numerous yellows Hibs should have got. The ref was absolutely shocking, almost as bad as our defense.

Scott Allan, your card is marked.

13 May 2018 14:59:55
Russell Martin is truly awful, a ball watching statue in the box. Stats don't lie: top scorers, but conceded 25 more than septic. I'm sure that fact won't be lost on Stevie Gerrard and shoring up the defence and defensive midfield areas will be given the greatest attention when he takes over at the glorious teddy bears.

13 May 2018 15:12:00
Hamburg are welcome to Bates another awful defender

13 May 2018 15:13:50
Pdot, spot on there. If gerrard isn't looking at a complete back four change, then there won't be any progress next season. Tav continually allows the opposition to go by him on the outside and get crosses in, and when they come there's no one defending in the middle! - but its been the same all year, left or right, four defenders that can defend is a must, and midfielders that put a tackle in instead of watching the opposition waltz by would be a bonus. At 0-3 today I was screaming at the telly, at 5-3 up I was ecstatic, and in the end I felt like we'd lost, roll on June 1st!

13 May 2018 15:14:57
Gerrard challenge cut goals lost in half

13 May 2018 14:53:56
Well, as usual we have too many fans that have let the club down.

Walking out after 20 minutes is a disgrace - you expect the players to show character (and they did) but you sunshine fans throw in the towel

Does anyone think the players on the pitch were inspired by their own fans walking out?

Does anyone thing our players were happy at 3-0 down?

Alves made a big difference today yet most people on here want him out

Same with Rossiter. give the guy a break!

If you can't say anything positive about the team, don't say anything!

There are plenty of supporters of the wee teams to slag off our club - either show support or say goodbye!

Rant over - onwards and upwards with SG.

13 May 2018 15:05:21
DK17, Do you have a boil or a pimple on your arse as everyone seems to be bothering you? Take a break and enjoy the holidays🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

13 May 2018 15:13:36
If you want to find positives in finnishing the season in 3rd place again and being embarrased more times than I can remember then that is up to you. We should never accept 2nd nevermind 3rd!

13 May 2018 15:13:44
Rossiter is done, finished, injury prone he's not worth a locker move out.

13 May 2018 15:15:52
Alves needs to do more, rossiter looks a player, off with cramp

13 May 2018 16:26:48
Well I stayed to end with guest from EPL and was embarrassed at defence conceding 5 but probably more at standard of refereeing. He asked if this was a constant and could only answer sheepishly yes.

13 May 2018 21:10:55
Punter are you having a laugh. rossiter was immense . nearly crippled by Allen. yours the only negative comment I have seen tonight . most bears think he is future captain material.

14 May 2018 00:26:38
This me bro? Never said word wrong about the boy. Thought after such long injury he was spot on.

13 May 2018 14:29:47
I hope that game becomes a blessing in disguise as it's some of the worst defending I've seen.
It has really showed how weak we are in defence and that it's the first place we need to recruit for
I would rather Charles Green at centre half next season that Russel Martin.

13 May 2018 14:37:54
Hope his flight is booked tonight back to Norwich. Shocking. As for Tav. He was so slow going with his man for there last goal. Hope SG watched this and saw the shower of a defence, at least rossiter played and showed glimpses of the player he will be.

13 May 2018 14:41:00
Totally agree Fraser52. I don't normally like to criticise our players but i can't control myself. Has anyone seen Russell Martin have a decent game for Rangers? Our defence has been the weakest link for many a season. McCoist, Warburton and Pedro have failed to sort it out. All eyes are on you Mr Gerrard.

13 May 2018 14:42:52
Can't believe Martin has never been dropped he has been shocking for weeks

13 May 2018 14:50:24
Martin, Bates, Halliday and Tavernier just can’t defend. Hodson is not good enough and Alves only good in the air. Utter shambles in defence all season and no one has sorted it out

13 May 2018 15:17:08
Agree ArturD Tav simply can't defend. Get a defender first and foremostn

13 May 2018 15:17:18
ArthurD, been a shambles in defence since we went to the bottom league, (when it should have been sorted) and its been the same ever since!

13 May 2018 14:26:32
Neil Lennon is a disgrace and embarrassment running onto the pitch like that. Shocking behaviour from a manager.

13 May 2018 15:21:32
The manager running on the pitch for draw how embarrassing

13 May 2018 14:06:44
Got to say big credit to Jimmy nic for changing set up immediately I think we all no Mr murty would have left it the same.

13 May 2018 14:29:07
Good too see another Terrible Refeering Decision cost us the Game Stone Wall Penalty against Wittacher something has to change for next season is semi Professional Referees!

Plus Holt, s 1st booking was not one the Referee had a Howler against us as usual.

13 May 2018 14:32:56
Well what a surprise Aberdeen winning at Celtic park thata our 2 closest rivals they've lay down too in recent weeks but if we had taken care of our own business this would not have been the case today. Not happy with our performance today at all defence a shambles for me we have nothing to be proud off today or in fact this season

13 May 2018 14:42:09
Mate,19 shots to Don's 7.63 -37 possession. not bothered about SPL. however the stats say it all.

13 May 2018 14:51:32
When you defend like that you can’t point the finger elsewhere. Utterly shocking defending all season. Worst bunch of defenders for a long time

13 May 2018 13:51:36
this game screaming out for windass. hope that he's on we can pull more and hope Celtic do us a favour.

13 May 2018 14:13:17
This game is screaming out for someone who can defend. Can’t remember such a bad Rangers defence. Hamburg are welcome to Bates and Martin can go back to Norwich truly awful defender

13 May 2018 13:27:43
Glad to see wee rossiter back him tav and alves only ones I could imagine gerrard would want to keep in squad! The rest are shocking and nowhere near the standard we are looking for.

13 May 2018 13:27:08
I would give all my savings, my house and car for Cummings to get the winner here then go and do a grado style slam on Lennon.

13 May 2018 13:17:47
Keeping an eye on the Celtic Aberdeen game, and unsurprisingly celtic appear on the beach already.

13 May 2018 13:09:45
Rossiter is a player! He's going to be the main man in SG team if he can stay fit.

13 May 2018 13:19:08
Night and day to him and Goss that's y Goss is off. Don't know why he wasn't happy he was murder and couldn't tackle because he was on a yellow.

13 May 2018 13:35:46
I’d have Doc on for Holt also.

13 May 2018 14:41:11
as i posted yesterday Goss is GASH and why wasnt docherty brought on with his pace and energy

13 May 2018 12:59:47
to everyone that was giving me stick yesterday for who I wanted to leave rangers because there a “decent squad. I rest my case most are up to the challenge like I said in my post. last thing I’ll say is only one impressing me is Rossiter looks like he’s the only one actually caring

13 May 2018 12:58:27
WTAF is happening? We are a shambles. This could be the 6-0 needed for them to push us into 4th (that's what we are, a mid table team) ., I mentioned yesterday that we have a good squad and maybe Stevie G could get more out of - I was wrong, we are a disgrace, roll on the end of this season.

13 May 2018 13:22:22
You are an unbeliever!

No chance it’ll be 6 nil when we’ve scored 3!

Be positive man!

13 May 2018 13:32:07
You were saying? Just shows you how things can change. Bit of the old experienced head there with Jimmy making the change. Can't believe that wee rat Allan is still on the park. A leg bteaker if I ever saw one. Glad to see young Rossiter carrying on and playing well. He'll be like a new player next season. Wonder what Stevie G is making of it all!

13 May 2018 13:52:28
Jimmy Nic makes the right changes in personnel and shape and that is the difference. I really hope there is a place for Jimmy in the new set up!

13 May 2018 13:54:29
OK, I hold my hands up - I did post that at 3-0 tho.

13 May 2018 14:27:44
I've also done that a few times this season sirstruth. What a game!

13 May 2018 12:53:44
WTF IS HAPPENING FOR GET ALVES ON.

13 May 2018 13:21:24
Dont no why goss was raging about getting subbed. He was lost and on a yellow heading for a red. Big Bruno over Martin any day of the week.

13 May 2018 12:49:03
get rid of the lot of this so called team embarasing once again easily the worst side ever to wear the blue jersey can't string a pass together.

13 May 2018 13:28:33
Worst performance from Rangers Team in an important Game ever, need to get rid of so much of these no hopers. Great to comeback to 3-3 but Hibs let us back in so we must take this Game in 2nd Half. Again we are having to play against worse Referees ever cause Allan shouldn’t, t be on the park, was the worst challenge this Season and it was RED CARD all day long!

By the way Goss couldn’t, t tackle a 2 year old and thank God his Contract is up.

13 May 2018 12:02:41
Not a rumour but y is Docherty not getting starts, there is a real player in him.

13 May 2018 10:16:07
Believe it or not I think we will start with Windass and Cummings as our main two with Windass just off Cummings.
With all that has been said lately I think it's the type of game where Windass will score, play well and so will Cummings.

Score will go 0-1, 0-2, 1-2, 1-3 And 1-4

1-4.get you bets on 😁🙏🏻👊🏻 Windass/ Cummings 1st

. then Lennon will quit (given he won't have a midfield next year) .

13 May 2018 11:47:23
You would have been better predicting a gers win by any margin. That’s about 10 different bets there mate 😉

13 May 2018 11:59:16
Always the optimist 😉

13 May 2018 12:09:16
Any win will do me, with Rossiter playing well.

13 May 2018 08:34:29
I hope the sheer level or arrogance and contempt shown by Lennon this week, is finally rammed past his popcorn teeth today.

Although finishing second or third is no way looked upon as good enough for Rangers, being above them (Hibs) is a must.

I think the club, the crest and every fan deserves one last monumental effort from our players today. I don’t want to see any halfhearted challenges, or playing like you don’t want injured because your heads already on a plane to Dubai.

Go out and give it your all and show desire and passion from the off. Some of you players won’t be here next season, however, I and thousands more BEARS, will be.

Cmon the Rangers

13 May 2018 09:45:39
Agree 100% Jardine 72 but I doubt the majority of these imposters have it in them. The season has been a disaster and these players have found the weight of the jersey far too heavy. Let the revolution begin on june 1st and let's look forward to a higher quality player coming in and a challenge to the manky mob. Gerard is a born winner and will quickly know and work out these players who are simply not good enough and don't have the character required for this club

13 May 2018 10:24:29
I would say that this season is pretty much on track with expectations.

We are guaranteed 3rd and have a good shot at 2nd today.

To say the season has been a DISASTER is simply ridiculous!

Could we have played better? Of course

Could we have made better choices of manager? Of course we could but then maybe SG is the best option around

Are our current players at the same level as The Souness/ Smith heydays? Nope but we do not have the money or the draw to bring in that type of player now

We are on an upwards path and on a more stable foundation than we have been for many years. there will be more upheavals but that is simply a reflection of the journey back to the top.

Don’t think the players that will come in will be perfect- we will play badly and lose games next season but perhaps the fans could become the extra man to help the players instead of jumping on their backs at every opportunity.

Support the team boys

13 May 2018 11:57:16
Was good to see some meaty challenges going in against the sheep and letting the other team know the players were there for once. Then some folk saying ( walker etc ) we have discipline issues. cannot win

13 May 2018 11:57:27
Well said DK. But would say that there is a growing atmosphere of not being allowed to state you opinion on all things Rangers in fear of being over critical. Those who pay their money every week have every right to say what they think. In the end it is simply venting frustration and makes no difference to the decisions the club will make but does help to set a standard we aspire to as a group of fans

13 May 2018 12:04:27
MOLS

If the team are struggling on the pitch constant boos and moans from the terraces will not help them.

We can try to give support and be the extra man by being supportive - perhaps the player who are struggling will then want the ball instead of hiding?

On any given day the players we have are the players we have - doesn't really help by constantly criticing them. yes as always we want to sign better players but we can only do what we can.

13 May 2018 13:38:59
DK

The Players who represent Rangers always have and always will have to deal with this pressure. The reality is that too many do not have the mentality to deal with the pressure

I never have and never will boo or criticise my team when at the game as this is when they need support.

13 May 2018 06:56:32
I see Lennon's assistant is claiming it would take 6m to land McGinn from Hibs, i know its no chance of happening but think he's every penny if Brown cost 4m 10 yrs ago, i think he's a great player but will eventually land up at Parkhead within 2-3 yrs.

13 May 2018 07:43:03
Besty78,like you, i read hibs assistant, gary parker's comments on the daily record online page this morning! After disecting it, my take on john mcginn is this! He's a very good midfielder but nowhere near a valuation of between £5-£6million,
especially with only 1 year remaining on his current hibs contract, NO CHANCE! Then there's the part where gary parker says rangers would need to spend there FULL £6million budget, that they'll receive from the new share issue! I'll correct him and ALL the other clowns, who can't understand what dave king said, regarding the share issue! King i'll repeat, DIDN'T say that all gerrard had to spend was the £6million money from the share issue! He said he expected rangers to make a minimum of £6million, from the fresh share issue! Quite easy to understand, don't you think fellow bears? For our enemies who are wishful thinking on this sum, i can assure them, that they'll be disappointed, as gerrard's budget is a good bit more than £6million!

13 May 2018 07:58:30
Well said coop

13 May 2018 08:31:09
good shout coop, revenue comes from the likes of;

share issue
prize money finishing 2nd or 3rd SPL
season tickets sales
retail income from shirts etc
sponsorship from likes of hummel
tv money
possible european income
transfer fees for players we may sell ie fredo josh wes tav

this will give SG a fair bit more more than 6m i’d imagine

i certainly wouldn’t be spending that on a player from hibs with 1yr heft in his contract . I’ll crack the jokes!

the lads good but not that good

13 May 2018 08:50:28
Do the deluded really think that Steven Gerrard would take the Rangers job with a 6 million budget? We will make twice that in the players we shift out alone. Morelos 5/ 6 million, Windass 3/ 4 million, Tav 3/ 4 million and whatever other money we bring with offloading players. I truly believe he will get to spend 15 million minimum with 2 or 3 loans deals included.

13 May 2018 09:47:10
JGG1 I was thinking the same. 12 / 15 million. Depends on player sales as well I think. I'm happy for changes in players as current are not doing it. Think Gerrard will want some players he knows so fully expect former Liverpool players or current reserve / youth players.

13 May 2018 10:07:06
brilliant supercoop well said

13 May 2018 10:31:04
GET an orange 3rd kit selling in the 1st week of July. it will be a record breaker! Ignore the flack that will fly our way from our haters. it's a no brainer for maximising revenue. Il b astounded if we don't do it. there's hardly been a sight of a Gers strip out and about the last few years justifiably so. now is our time bears!
