Running up and down the park is what wallace is good at. It was his defensive performances that were lacking last season.

Josh Windass has real potential! In his first game of the season against Celtic he had shown some promise and real tenacity Still fairly young I think we should hold off for 1m for him plus 10-15% add ons
If we are getting just 500k for him then any sell on fee we should claim 20% from it

Yeah but in that game you mention he crashed and burned pretty quickly looked good for around 20-30 mins then fell out the game. As for the rest of the games he played we was very average and only scoring 1 goal all season was embarrassing

Anyone else wondering where all this money has come from. I honestly thought we would need to free up 7 players to get 7 in and even then be free, loans or under 500k. Don't get me wrong it's been great having back pages filled with Us signing players and so badly needed. After where we ended up I am paranoid we live within our means. Think we will be a solid 2nd this year with less than 10points off tic and really challenge for 1st next year with a good team well drilled hope I'm wrong and hit the ground running and shock everyone

If these foreign guy settle in quickly there no reason why we can not challenge Celtic all the way next season if you look at it player for player think we should be matching them all the way. The work the bored and Pedro have done so far has been fantastic so it all now depends if Pedro can get them to play as a team and get them to Jel if that happens we will right on them imo.

The way I'm seeing it is that (as per King's statement after the Warburton resignation), the board had a plan not to overspend, they gave Warbs more money than they had budgeted for and he blew it, also brought in the highest earner who he couldn't control. however, this is the boards third season in charge, therefore that's 3 seasons worth of season ticket money. now there's no way they had given warburton anywhere near even half of the season ticket money for his two seasons. Appears that the board have maybe saved the previous two seasons and planned to use more in the 2nd season back after we settled, or they may have just not trusted Warburton with the money and did not shell out last season.
Just what I'm seeing. I think the board have dealt with the finances very well considering the contacts the precious regime left us with.
{Ed039's Note - I think if there was any spare money from previous2 seasons it would have shown in the accounts, I think all season money is being spent and they are either confident of a fair and flawless retail agreement happening or any short fall will be funded by soft loans from investors again)

Watched afew vids of merelos and he definitely looks the part. Looks more determined to stay on his feet and score than go down which would be handy in the spl. It's not often you find players with that desire these days so he could be an asset to us and sell him for a fortune in two or three years. I think I speak for most us of that we don't know a lot about the new boys coming in but when you here the noise coming out of some of the club's that are selling to us it can only be good. I still think the league next season is too far away for now but stranger things have happened. Let's just get behind pedro and team and roar them to the title! Here's hoping anyway!

Having watched a bit of video of Morelos I noticed 2 things.
1: The level of play in Finland is probably worse than SPL, particularly the keeping so I doubt he'll score quite as many here.
2: He seems to play in from the right a lot similar to Waggy.
I was therefore thinking with our signings Pedro may go a 4-2-3-1. E. g.
Tav Alves Cardoso Wallace
Dorrans Jack
Morelos Pena Dalcio
Herrera.

"The level of play is probably worse than SPL". with the exception to that of Celtic, no other Scottish club has got as far as any Finnish team has in Europe for the past 5 years. If anything it is slightly better than the SPL.

Pedro is signing mainly foreigners but could that also be down to Scottish clubs reluctance to sell to Rangers. No real progress was made on the two Motherwell players and Hibs refusal to sell Scott Allan is well documented. Ryan Jack from Aberdeen signed on a freedom of contract.

Theres no chance we could afford him! Dunno how much he's on at Valencia i'd reckon anything between 60-80k a week.
And I doubt they would pay that across the city.
Nani must be looking for a move tho and every big Club will be getting mentioned.
