Despicable article in the paper today slating Morelos as a waster. And Gerrard for defending him. And saying that he brings it on himself.

Even worse the 'journalist' in question holds Hartson and Sutton up as examples of players who just got on with it! That’s funny considering one of them booted a fellow pro in the face and the other questioned a full team of fellow pros integrity!
And this from a paper that launched a Respect Our Players campaign but continues to vilify a young player?

Where’s the vilification of others?
What about the current Scotland International, Declan Gallagher of Motherwell who got done for assault by using a baseball bat on someone?
Or Edouard at Celtic who actually shot someone in France with an air rifle?
Or the Lurgan person who threatened his lover with a knife if she announced their affair.

Or the many misdemeanours of Leigh Griffiths?
And yet the Scottish Press want Morelos and to lesser degree Kent for some hand gestures!

Brilliant post pacman. Used to the crappy clickbait media in this country trying to put the boot in but the tone of that article actually crosses the line to sinister for me. Tubby wee no mark of a man (wouldn't even call him journalist) who knows nothing about football or righting a fair and interesting article. Some waster Fredo is after all the pictures of the charity work he does back home.

The way our club and players are being spoken about is ridiculous. The press and former players who can't say a good word about us are a disgrace. Even when they value morelos he's 8 million or there abouts and as soon as eduard gets mentioned he's 30million right away. Hartson Sutton and that idiot Stewart can go jump along with leckie.

I knew Leckie for most of his career and for most of his career he has been an insidious reptile. As for the Thief of Bad Gags Cowan, he's on a par with said reptile, an odious wee creep who was probably bullied at school and buys patter for pints. I knew him when he was writing the in Motherwell programme with all the panache and humour of a dyslexic coo.

Wish our players would stop predicting even boasting in the press we will win the the league this season .
This always seems to come back and haunt them and it's not just our clubs players.

Lesson is, let other clubs players do the predicting so "we" can get the last laugh not them.

We need 2 strikers, 1 an experienced marksman, also wee shankland. We also need an attacking midfielder. No more defenders or players that play in central mid, we have enough.

Why do we need 2 strikers? Unless Morelos leaves we don't even need 1. We already have Defoe sitting on the bench, where are we likely to find another in January who will be happy to come and be 3rd choice striker? Agree with your attacking midfield though, someone to play on the right although Aribo has been brilliant in that role recently.

Sent scouts to watch him doesn’t mean they will sign him. he’s a championship player and he’s 25 I think, at that age he won’t sign for a team to sit on the bench week in week out. We need to sign players better than what we already have at the team.
