Jelavic reportedly looking at Far East as can't get game at West Ham. Could do worse than negotiating loan deal for him. Left on good terms and loved his time at Ibrox.

13 Jan 2016 22:47:07
Couldnt afford his wages teams in china pay big bucks.

14 Jan 2016 09:59:16
Bigtrfc

Spot on wages would scupper any deal. West Ham would have to pay at least 90% of this wages and no way would they do that.

Some posters on here amaze me, do you honestly think the Premier League in Scotland is top quality, we may not win it next year, but we won't be turned over like a junior eleven, keep believing, i have watched lots of the matches, and with a couple of additions we are adequately equipped to hold our own, there will be a few teams shitting themselves coming to a full bouncing Ibrox let me tell you.

13 Jan 2016 19:46:09
Dundee United being one of them. That little rat chairman will be quivering in his boots about whether the Bears will attend Tannadice after his resentment towards our club.

13 Jan 2016 19:55:00
Think the Dundee Utd chairman is more worried at the prospect of Alloa and Dumbarton bringing 50 fans up to watch his team next season and doubling the amount that will be in the home end.

13 Jan 2016 19:55:10
I think he's got more important things on his tiny mind, like making sure his team is in the same division. I know it's petty but I would love it if they go down. I'm even hoping the eastenders skelp them on Friday.

13 Jan 2016 20:17:54
I for one will get the bunting out if the tangerines get relegated. We've waited 3 years for this. Not so funny now is it Mr Thompson?

13 Jan 2016 20:22:37
Yes some posts amaze me too but hey everyone is entitled to their opinion. I suppose it's pretty much inevitable after our last few years and the thieves and Ashley's tying us down with his unmentionable contracts.

My take on some recent posts. we were in court over an IT installation in season 2012/13 the IT company want £300,000 for a wifi system, That has never worked since King and co. took over. Now what would you do if you moved into a house and the previous tenants owed money for a service that no longer worked and was not fit for purpose anyway? I know companies are different and inherit the debts accrued by the previous board, but I'm sure in that position all of us would try to negotiate the debt.

Yes our youth system has not produced many gems lately but give MW a chance its something he says he really wants to improve but that will take time.

MW has already said there is money for players but listen to the man EVERY SINGLE TIME he talks about signings he says he wants to add VALUE to the squad. He will not pay, what he thinks, is over the odds.

13 Jan 2016 20:35:11
Lay aff the poor man! He can't even sleep at night! Petty it may be Seeker but I wiii love it, love it if they go down mate.

14 Jan 2016 06:01:20
Bluepete- the wifi isn't working because virgin cut rangers off because, wait for it, they hadn't paid the bill!

14 Jan 2016 08:00:11
I don't normally like to wish other teams ill but if Dundee UTD go down I shall be making a point of having a right good celebration, If ever a chairman deserved a reality check its Thomson!

13 Jan 2016 15:30:17
Was just having a look around and thinking, There is obviously a lot of issues concerning some over transfers ect, let's all take a look back to where we was last season, We have what looks like a very good management in place, we play really good football, we have a young hungry team, last years wage budget has been cut, We are top of the league, Some of us need to stop panicking and get right behind the team win this Championship get back in the SPL then the hard work starts in the Summer.

13 Jan 2016 16:25:08
Well said AllanRFC.

13 Jan 2016 17:13:50
AllanRFC, If it was only on the playing side and it's budget that was our guage, eutopia it would be. However there are too many underlying problems that affect our status and may be our undoing.

13 Jan 2016 18:02:10
AllanRFC

You have to remember that we are playing in the 2nd tier of Scottish football and the standard is poor. Until we are in the top flight I don't think you can really decide how good the manager and players are.

13 Jan 2016 18:26:58
Boffo, MW stated that the major work in the transfer market will be the summer, he is doing fine, I'm quite enjoying the journey so far .

13 Jan 2016 20:12:07
I agree with Brian-p. I try to be more positive than some.

13 Jan 2016 13:46:05
according to press reports, O'Halloran apparently does NOT want to leave St Johnstone, so why pursue this line when he obviously doesn't fancy playing for us, Better to look elsewhere, and find someone with greater ambitions and the desire to make the move, which could enhance their career and play on a much bigger stage.

13 Jan 2016 17:17:08
Well if it's in the press it must be true! .

13 Jan 2016 17:21:31
Aw the press says it must be true lol.

13 Jan 2016 20:31:06
What do they want him to say? yes a want to go to Rangers when they haven't even bid yet.

I can't see Waggy leaving to be honest, not while we're trying buy another striker to help him, doesn't make sense to me. Getting promoted this year is what everyone at the club wants/needs .
I'm actually a supporter of the new board but I agree that if we don't get the players in MW has identified for the title run in it looks bad. The back up goalie and the boy Forrester are not going to win us the title, but O'halloran and the big fella from Brentford most certainly will. The fact they are willing to drop down to our division now and not the summer tells me they really want to be part of what we are trying to achieve. So come on King and get the chequebook out (without being held to ransom) and give MW the tools to get us back where we belong.
In saying that I still feel that with the form we are in we could do it without anyone else but why risk it, a few could get injured.

13 Jan 2016 12:37:57
I think if the price suits DK everybody is for sale. money talks. and i will be surprised if asking price is paid to acquire st johnston and brentford boys . money too tight, bills and legal fees are mounting.

13 Jan 2016 15:46:48
Chelsea paid 50m for thon Torres boy so by the same principle our Waggy MUST be worth twice that. Uks top scorer after all.

Seriously though, I think he is grateful to be given this chance and must surely know that he's onto a better thing with us. Could have European footy back soon too, that's got to be a draw for any player (within reason obviously before people start touting Messi et al)

Getting Diougaraga and OHalloran in this month would be massive and vastly increase our chance of getting a good run in Scottish Cup. Hope this 300k wifi claim don't get ring fenced on Friday when sheriff decides. That could be pivotal particularly if Brentford holding out for 750k for Diougaraga.

13 Jan 2016 09:57:25
Been reported Clark and Law are for the off. Whilst not top drawer players, I still rate them and see them as important experienced squad players. Both score valuable goals, Law can influence games.

Ok, if we do sign a good goalscorer Clark can go, but Law needs replaced with a talented experienced midfielder. As Brian Laudrup and MW said u need a mix of youth and experience.

13 Jan 2016 09:15:13
Just read that rangers won't sell mw for less than 1 million. To me he's worth more like 2-3 million.

13 Jan 2016 11:20:05
He perhaps would be if he were playing in the SPL. but not in the championship i'm afraid.

13 Jan 2016 11:37:01
So they should hold on to him till the summer then in my eyes rather sell him cheap as there are only a few months left.

13 Jan 2016 12:01:50
Yea i also read that aswell, 1mil price tag seem very low, I have no doubt he would score a fair few in the SPL too, Not just his goal scoring ability but his overall workrate is top notch, the lad works his socks off from 1st whistle to the last.

13 Jan 2016 15:03:34
Paper talk!

I don't see Waghorn wanting to leave and I don't see Warburton wanting to let him go.

If he leaves it has to be down to King and that for me would show him to be all mouth. This is the guy that promised megabucks that so far have not been forthcoming.

He should be investing in the players that Warburton needs not selling players that are fundamental to our success.

January will be an interesting month and will show exactly what King is!

Just on the chat on here bout youth getting loaned and why it happens to me its to gain experiance and to see how they cope and to show them a diffrent side of football and what it like at smaller clubs who don't have places like ibrox or murray park an eye opener in my opinion to show them they need to work hard and earn there place to stay with a club like rangers help with there attitude aswel as performance progress.
