Rangers release statement:
"Rangers has no option other than to accept this decision. However it is abundantly clear questions about the current disciplinary system, which we belive it flawed must be posed. Rangers has been in dialogue with the Scottish FA on this topic for some time and would urge that the system is now thoroughly reviewed as a matter of extreme urgency".

Hi first time post on this site. I’m a Celtic fan but I’ll be honest I’m this comment. I completely agree that the sfa/ compliance officer/ refs have been a complete embarrassment this season. I think that McGregor should have been banned. I don’t get how the hibs guy (forgot his name) Paul McGinn didn’t get banned they should have been. Also I don’t get how power got away with a boot in the face of Ryan Jack again should have been banned. For me Celtic have been pretty lucky with some decisions this season. Burke should have got punished for diving. Scott Brown should have been off against hibs and Simunovic should have been banned too. Sorry for the long post. What’s your thoughts on that?

14 Feb 2019 10:18:23
A bit shocked at your honesty tbh. Are you sure you're not one of us at the wind up?

14 Feb 2019 10:42:54
At least he's honest unlike some of the eastenders totally agree what he says.

14 Feb 2019 10:55:22
Fair play higgins, your assessment is spot on. Nothing worse than a fan who can only see through the tinted colour of their specs👍.

14 Feb 2019 11:42:34
Burke (which I agree took a dive) cannot be called up retrospectively as he did not gain any advantage.

Would be different if he got a penalty.

14 Feb 2019 14:14:31
the true outcome of this is the shackling of the Scottish game in Europe. standards.

14 Feb 2019 14:17:30
Higgins, precisely. It's institutionalised cheating.

14 Feb 2019 18:04:26
Seeker - I’m not at the wind up. I’m just giving a fair opinion. At least I can tell the truth the way I see it. I wanted to give my view. In all honesty I feel Rangers have been unlucky with the process. It’s needs to be changed for next season not just for me as a Celtic fan but for the league as a whole. This season has been the best in ages, look at the managers and players in the league it would be nice being able to talk about the football and not just the refs.

14 Feb 2019 21:09:39
For me, McGregor deserves his ban but in the context of what’s been let off this season it’s definitely the wrong decision. I’m very much of the opinion of let the refs get on with it and take the good decisions with the bad, I’d even be ok with foreign refs TBH however they will still get decisions wrong. The standard of refereeing is poor up here but the re-refereeing of selected incidents is a disgrace and clearly isn’t fit for purpose!

15 Feb 2019 10:08:43
If i was a referee which thankfully i'm not I would be a bit frustrated at constantly being undermined by an SFA influenced adjudication panel. there's a big difference between you missed that and you got that wrong.

15 Feb 2019 17:35:01
I want to thank the people for the positive replies to my post, I always try and give a balanced opinion on the game. I am happy that rangers is strong again, as a fan I’ve missed the challenge in the league. For me it’s important that Scottish football gets a good name as it’s had it’s bad points in the past. I also look at the European contest as well and hope that both clubs do well in Europe for the good of Scottish football, Rangers done well to get where they did this season in Europe and I think the league will be the closest it’s been in years thoughts?

13 Feb 2019 17:19:41
The issue for me here isn’t that McGregor got a 2 March ban because in my opinion he was lucky to stay on the park in the first place!
I don’t think anyone can argue it was a reckless challenge.

For me it’s the fact there were worse tackles, in 3 games plus a blatant dive that has “insufficient evidence”!
The stadiums have every possible angle covered by HD cameras!

13 Feb 2019 18:26:58
87 henderson. Agree 100%.

13 Feb 2019 18:42:48
Seeker, it’s embarrassing for our football governing body to say there is insufficient evidence!
Say anything else aside that! There are hundreds of cameras in a stadium at any one time! Plus thousands of spectators! Plus replays, super slow mos, 4K Super HD!

SFA EMBARRASSING!

13 Feb 2019 19:21:38
and then we have Candieas being sent off for blowing a kiss and the guy who grabbed him not being punished

and then we have Captain Broon whose last sending off was April 2017 against Ross County but if we had English referees as his boss wants he would be sent off every second game.

13 Feb 2019 20:46:56
Within ten minutes of the McGregor tackle Ferguson goes in wreckless and even the commentators on the game brought it up saying it was retribution for McGregor's tackle on him! Now am I right in saying nothing has been done regarding this tackle or was it only us and the commentators that witnessed this and nothing done yet again? That in a nutshell fellow bears should put all arguments to rest that they are one view towards us and another if it's against our opposition!

13 Feb 2019 23:06:28
True blue why does Captain Broon not get sent off all the time in Europe? In 90 odd European games he has been sent off once.
Explain that.

14 Feb 2019 00:09:44
Cos when he plays in Europe he can’t get near anyone he's playing against, they are to busy ripping the 💩 outa him.

14 Feb 2019 10:19:37
Very funny, but true 87henderson lol.

14 Feb 2019 12:33:09
isleogreen - Do you think Captain Broon is a decent and honest CFC captain? Do you think that Captain Broon is a fair player? Do you think Captain Broon is a football player or like your old Captain McStay just another square baller? Do you think that Captain Broon's tackles deserve red cards? Do you think Captain Broon holds back his tackles in Europe and let's rip in Scotland knowing that the tackle will be blanked? If Candeias can be sent off for blowing a kiss how many times do you think Captain Broon should have been sent off?

14 Feb 2019 12:47:46
Very funny but what you're saying is you can't explain why he doesn't have a poor European and international discipline record?

14 Feb 2019 14:25:16
I think they just did IOG - he's shoit in these games and can't get close enough to the opposition.

14 Feb 2019 14:25:20
In summary of your hundred questions true blue I think brown is a quality defensive mid and a robust but fair player, a completely different type of player to mcstay who most definitely wasn't a 'square baller'.
You know if he played for rangers you would love him to bits for exactly the same reasons you hate him now.
As for holding back in Europe? Come on now you can't actually believe that?

14 Feb 2019 16:55:18
Broon gets found out in nearly every European match you play. He just isn't up to the job. Decent on the spl but nowherr near the standatd required for Europe. Remember you are in the last 32 due to some unbelievable luck. And before you head down the whitabootery route, the same goes for us. To sum up Broom can't get near anybody in European ties so therefore his disciplinary record is pretty good. As for here everbody knows that he gets away with doing whatever he wants, hence the uproar.

14 Feb 2019 17:10:42
So he literally can't get close enough to other people even to assault them hahahaha!
Check his recent champions League stats regarding pass completion, tackles made, pass accuracy etc.
Or don't because this determination to avoid giving him credit at all costs is frankly hilarious!

14 Feb 2019 17:46:23
IoG - McStay was a square baller and Captain Broon is a square baller and a very tippy tappy slow one - any officianado of the game will tell you that he slows up play and tackles badly and very ineptly - he has no pace and lacks the very basic of football skill - he invariably does a three foot square ball pass which is just not good enough in European football. His elbowing and tackling stands him in good stead within Scottish refereeing parliance but we ALL know that he should be punished even when he doesn't - take a look at his yellow card for his studs showing last week.

14 Feb 2019 20:06:42
Peanut Heid couldn't lace the likes of McStay or Ferguson's boots. These were proper mdffieldets as Barry often demonstrated in OF games.

14 Feb 2019 21:09:24
I rest my case! Hahahaha!

14 Feb 2019 22:23:00
IOG - what was that you were saying aboot super captain Broon?

15 Feb 2019 01:42:53
So Brown swans about and thinks he’s a ticket but when Arfield got on his face he looked like a wee boy. Shelling balls out the park etc.
If more SPL midfielders had some balls he would be shown up big time.
As for your “quality def mid” rubbish. he is a crab, sideways sideways sideways! Scared to take the ball forward and couldn’t create anything.

13 Feb 2019 16:55:35
Guys, following todays decision to suspend Greegs for 2 games, genuine question, is it really worth our Club continuing to play in the Scottish League anymore. I feel we should quietly, but seriously start to look at another option outside Scotland, still playing our home games at Ibrox. we will never receive justice in this corrupt set up.

13 Feb 2019 17:15:51
Where else would we play?

13 Feb 2019 17:45:38
what league will accept us .

13 Feb 2019 20:17:00
I have a dream that we move to England. Stick us in League 2 and we will work our way up. We have moved through Divisions when the scumbag teams in this country tried their best to break us and the best fans in the world stand by the club as we did it again. Give it a few years and we would be up there with the biggest and brightest, leaving this backwards, narrow minded and bitter lot that make up our 'premier' division to waste away into obscurity.

13 Feb 2019 20:12:45
irvger. i totally agree with your post. The attention our club has received from the SFA the complience officer and a fair number of managers/ directors and others of scottish clubs in the name of sporting integrity is disgraceful. Sections of the media are keen to do their bidding at every opportunity and certain decisions at a political level in glasgow city council against our club are at best questionable. Enough is enough.

13 Feb 2019 23:38:33
Why should we be chased from the league we belong in, also the best way to deal with it is to overcome the challenge, never give up and stick it to them. It's still some years away but we will become dominant once again, everyone has always hated us so really nothing has changed.

14 Feb 2019 09:27:49
add in the fact that uefa and fifa wouldn't allow us to move to another league

its a non starter. Outwith teams forming a breakaway league like the previously discussed Atlantic league

No teams can simply choose to leave thier national leagues to join another country. If Fifa allowed this to happen then where do you stop

Teams from holland and belgium joining German league? Portuguese teams joining La Liga?

14 Feb 2019 12:18:23
i know lads, that's why i said it was a dream 😢 wouldn't see it as runninv away, more leaving the other scummy teams to rot. they love to leach off us but still put the boot in every chance they get!

14 Feb 2019 12:48:15
I agree that FIFA and UEFA probably wouldn't let us do what I suggested, but, these two bodies should also be looking at the SFA and their bias towards every Club but us, the whole thing stinks.

14 Feb 2019 13:36:04
Arthur/ London J
There has to be scope for RFC in England or European league. Believe European league is closer than u think if May gets finger out. Gers travelling support huge. In Killie other day (couldn't make match} there was 4 bears to every normal punter. Parties must see extra income from these much added peoples. How much did 20000 bears spend individually? You do math. My joy would be Euro league. There certainly is perhaps 10 huge clubs but rest smaller than us. Even huge clubs, can they match our travelling support? Forgive me but the speed of Gers in this issue ***** me off.

14 Feb 2019 13:45:34
jbf500 I guess the argument could be with all the welsh teams playing in England Swansea Cardiff Newport. Berwick playing in Scotland.

14 Feb 2019 14:11:50
Mr Struth said: 'No matter the days of anxiety that come our way, we shall emerge stronger because of the trials to be overcome. ' We stay and fight, No surrender!

15 Feb 2019 11:12:18
Derry City were allowed to move years ago.

13 Feb 2019 16:41:42
The fact mcgregor has been suspended is ridiculous, if his challenge merits it then Celtic had atleast two challenges and an unbelievable dive that should be reviewed and the challenge by power on Ryan jack was a shocker, i'm not going to start the Celtic fan patter that there is a conspiracy against us I simply think the sfa are incompetent and there is no consistency, they are completely influenced by the media who hate us and I wonder if the person reviewing these incidents actually knows anything about football.

13 Feb 2019 17:48:29
She doesn't know a thing about football, other than being a Celtic supporter. Apart from that she's a lawyer (allegedly) .

13 Feb 2019 22:20:09
Apparently she is a lawyer that works for the law firm that deals with the image rights of the that manky mob.

13 Feb 2019 15:55:34
Another impressive display from under 17 to win 5-1
Coombes looked very good again as did Kennedy and Miller
Final live on Friday.

13 Feb 2019 17:04:21
Kai Kennedy has a very good chance of making it into first team. Hope the lads bring the trophy home.

13 Feb 2019 20:02:52
Very good performance, the Japanese team were very organised and beat Real Madrid previous round.

13 Feb 2019 15:52:27
Young-coombes is looking like a great signing. Signed until 2021 hopefully we can hold onto him. Will probably be a first team player before he's 18.

13 Feb 2019 17:10:12
OR - away to Chelsea or someone similar for nowt!

13 Feb 2019 17:34:29
Did we not get him from Chelsea.

14 Feb 2019 00:53:12
Bar72, we just recently GOT him from Chelsea!

13 Feb 2019 15:10:04
McGregor misses next 2 games after charge upheld. No action for McGinn or Simunevic (however its spelt? ) . This witch-hunt is getting out of hand now.

13 Feb 2019 15:25:57
The club needs to make a stance against the sfa. McGregors incident was no worse than the other ones that were dismissed yesterday, and the 2 celtic players tackles. The hypocrisy and sheer bias against Rangers is blatantly obvious! We, as a club, should withdraw from sfa promotional events, players should withdraw from Scotland squads etc until this mess gets sorted out!

13 Feb 2019 16:13:11
the SfA and there compliance officer are a complete joke not defending our keeper and our striker but worse challenges have gone unpunished by the SFA consistency is key and the woman compliance offer is not showing that in her decisions any other job you would get sack for making wrong decisions but not at the SFA she is failing in her role.

13 Feb 2019 20:09:30
Angus Ger - I totally agree we need to make a stance - there must be a way to hit them were it hurts “the pocket” . Also agree that the club should remove all players from all levels of national team until this farce is addressed. Celtic kicked up a stink over refs and we ended up with a strike and a Celtic minded compliance officer!
Why can’t we do something similar. Fed up just accepting whatever is thrown at us. Time to react.

13 Feb 2019 14:35:53
Cannot believe Mcgregor charge upheld 2 game ban. Absolutely shocking given power mcginn and simonvic no action
SFA total shambles not helped with another Lawell puppet in place as compliance officer.

13 Feb 2019 15:08:23
Totally agree, seems to be different rules for Rangers players! I would expect the club to call the sfa out on this, it simply cannot continue this blatant bias against our club, we need to stand up to the totally inept authorities!

13 Feb 2019 15:09:32
Shagger was guilty of dangerous play, but he wasn’t the only one in that game, young Ferguson is no saint, then Jack gets a kick on the side of the face and that seems ok, McInness and Clark make statements to “ help “ the CO and SFA to make up her minds, usually I don’t believe in conspiracy theories, but there’s a good case for it here? Probably it’s just me being bias?

13 Feb 2019 16:33:27
Brown envelope on its way to Clare Whyte from PL?

13 Feb 2019 19:12:36
Green envelope 'tosh.
