as for notts forest. . . great, great club, however the celtic have been in 2 European cup finals, 4 European cup semi finals, and a uefa cup final, 42 league titles 34 scottish cup wins and 13 league cup wins. . . . .no way do they come anywhere near celtic. however they do outshine the local mob over the clyde as they don't know how to go continental . . . .just a bunch of homers. . . or words to that effect!
Ha ha ha this made me chuckle a little. You been on the sauce pal? Not gonna list all our achievements again but lets just say we have lots, lots more than Celtic and Forest put together! As for us not being able to "go continental", well not only where Rangers the first British Club in a European Final, we where the first British Club in the Champions League, the first Scottish Club to qualify from the group section of the Champions League and have actually been involved in more Euro campaigns than any other British Club aswell as the top 5 in Europe so that kinda dis-proves your point m8, just ever so slightly! Oh, and by the way, we are still Champions!

The charge is actually against MIH not Rangers Plc. MIH are in heavy debt and as Rangers are a part of MIH that is why the bank is denying them money. If some people could use some logic Rangers as a football club are in £22million debt, previously the bank always had the confidence that MIH could cover the debt however the bank no longer feel they can so restricted spending. Rangers profits are being used to help stabilize MIH. Any potential tax bill will be cvered by MIH- the payments were made through another Murray business not direct from Rangers.
I'm pretty sure Alistair Johnstone said last year that it wad a problem for RFC and why would another company than rangers pay rangers staff salaries and bonuses? The payments have come through rangers and employees of rangers haven't had to pay income tax like the rest of us hardworking people do, as I mentioned it's just my opinion and also one of an Irish based free lance journalist who has had meetings with Bain in the past, the Scottish media will never print anything against rangers as they don't want to bite the hand that feeds them!

Have to agree, i think Diouf has been excellent so far and he might just be what we have been looking for. Might just turn out to be a masterstroke from Smith, especially the fact that he seems to rile everyone at Celtic up so much. With Jelavic getting back in the goals backed up by Diouf, Naismith n Weiss its looking a bit rosier, although sunday could be the turning point in the season. I would give the fringe players a run out on thursday and concentrate on sunday. Btw, anyone any idea what Naismiths celebration is about??

I have also heard this rumour, and it can only be a rumour, reason being MIH are in as much a financial mess as rangers are just now, can't honestly see mr murry having a spare £51 million lying around to pay Rangers tax bill, the charge is against RFC and not MIH and I doubt MIH would be able to source the funds to pay this off, this is a government debt and not something that can just be signed over to another company, don't know for sure just my oppinion!
