What's happening with the season tickets?
I sent my renewal form on 1st August and have heard nothing since.
I chose the payment by 4 installments option and it said the 1st payment would be taken on 7th August and nothing has came out of my bank account.
I tried calling the ticket office today but kept getting cut off as lines were busy.

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Don't waste your time trying to phone, I was thirty minutes on the phone and in the end I hung up, need more lines in and calls to be answered with in five minutes, try emailing, good luck.

Agree2 Disagree2

The reason why you keep getting cut off , is simple ! your no getting one ..... save your money mate ...

Agree4 Disagree5

Contacted the ticket office about this and was told that there had been a delay in taking payments due on the 7th August. Said that the first installment would be likely to come off early this week.

Agree0 Disagree1

The first renewals were void, I sent mine back and I phoned to query it and they said they had to do it again, so i comfirmed it all on the phone. Just need to give them a bell mate and be patient, the lines are very busy but that is a good thing!

Anyone else think we should offer
El Hadj Diouf another contract, he is
a free agent and talking to Leeds, but
their fans don't want him. Give him a
3 year contract to noise up all the
timmys again. LB13

Believable12 Unbelievable12

Priceless.Thats your major concern at this time in your clubs history? No wonder these chancers can waltz in and strip you bare if your a typical fan.

Agree14 Disagree5

Wouldn't noise us up. He was utter pants for Rangers, and if he were to join he'd be we're he belongs; at a corrupt shell of a club in the very bottom level of Scottish football. Now that I think of it, it would actually be pretty funny. {Ed039's Note - He signed for Leeds and made his debut on Saturday)

Agree10 Disagree6

Why would it noise us up..your playing at his level! He probably would come back knowing that he won't have to get 'broonied' again.

Briggs {Ed039's Note - Signed for Leeds)

Agree11 Disagree6

And you wonder ......?

Pady Malarkey

Agree10 Disagree3

No chance he was utter p**h ! when it came to the big games ... he was nay where to be seen !

Agree5 Disagree4

To #5. What big games? When WS signed El Hadj Diouf I lost a major bit of respect for the man. Guy's a pr*ck and was a waste of space at Ibrox.

Agree5 Disagree1

He's too good for sevco Newco. Too expensive and running out for Leeds not fourth tier player at all.

lee wallace is the best left back in scottish football snubbed by levein another bertie vogts he hasnt a clue

Believable18 Unbelievable12

If he's the best were doomed

Agree9 Disagree5

Mulgrew and barsley are far better

Agree11 Disagree14

There's a certain left back at the champions that's better

Agree13 Disagree11

Wallace is a good player. Won't slag him, but it's gonna be hard to see what level he's playing at when he's tramping about the lower leagues. Wouldn't be surpised if he left now that (apparently) the Hearts payment has been sorted (not paid, sorted!!).

Also, Scotland must be really desperate to draft Black in. Think Levein's having a laugh with all of us.

Agree2 Disagree0

The guys name is Beardsley & he's a right back

Agree1 Disagree3

@5' I think U will find it is Bardsley, once loaned to us under Le Guen and he has been Levein's first choice LB for a while now. He did start out as a Rb but is just as good on the left IMO.

Agree2 Disagree0

Actually its Bardsley, he's naturally right back but can play either side

Agree3 Disagree0

He's not a right back for Scotland smart arse, he always plays left back, remind me how many different positions has mcculloch played in for rangers?

Agree1 Disagree1

@5: it's Bardsley

I think that the defence will become
good once perry and cribari get back, to full match fitness then we can finally get rid of
broadband!

Believable4 Unbelievable7

How do you know about cribari? Have you seen him play yet?

Agree4 Disagree2

I can only assume that you have seen Cribari in action as you seem certain of his eventual impact on the team. I guess I must just be cynical for thinking that if his best offer is from a brand new club in the bottom tier of Scottish football, then he must be rather p15h. Just a thought...

Agree3 Disagree3

Hes not as fast as broadband lol

Agree2 Disagree2

Broadfoot fast, are you having a augh, turns like a ship built on the Clyde and a child reacts and thinks quicker.

It all very well saying 'we should give youth a chance' but if we continue to grind out results it won't be long before people start mouthing off that the club should have bought better, proven and experienced players. I do agree that youth should be bled through the club, but we still need the experienced players to advise and help them develop. It's going to be a long year without being able to freshen up in the winter transfer window or even next summer. In my humble opinion, we need to get in as many players as we can get!

The truth is, with a minority of fans, the clubs damned if they do..... damned if they don't!

Believable9 Unbelievable5

Well said we need the experienced pros to nurture the youth players.R.B is a major problem - Give Darren Cole a chance or sign an experienced R.B any names?

Andrew Little has turned out at right back for N.Ireland so why are we sticking with Broadsword ??
We now have enough strikers so put Jig back into midfield and play Little at right back.
Send Goian and Bocanegra packing and save a fortune in wages.
Look at McLeod and McKay ? they have proved that youth IS the way forward, so WHY WHY WHY can't McCoist pick a better line up ?

Believable11 Unbelievable7

Totally agree m8. Problem is Ally hasnt got a clue, - remember last year he looked like a startled deer in headlights in euprope and we all stuck by him then, - now its the same happening - no tactics - poor team selection. When will it change !

Agree8 Disagree4

How many times.??
Just because Ally is alegend, and just because he doesn't do walking away, doesn't mean he is a football manager, because he is not...he hasn't a clue, motivator maybe, and that is a maybe, but manager....never!!
Ive stated this before....there is a statue of 'The Greatest Ever Ranger' outside our stadium, yes..John Greig...official!
Greatest Ever ! but guess what? Greigy was ''sacked'' because he never cut it as a manager....still a legend, and then! the statue will tell you the rest.

Agree11 Disagree3

Why are we bringing in more journeymen? surely youth players are the way forward lower wages too, I thought McKay and McLeod were both better than most of our senior players. McCoists schoolboy tactics are shocking

Agree6 Disagree1

Im a celtic fan and said on here some weeks ago you need experienced pros to play in these leagues youth players would be bullied by the journeymen playing at this level

Well first game out the way,and a point on the board,I for one can only hope the game at Peterhead opens the eyes of our first team cause that result and performance was totally inept and unacceptable.now before I get to downbeat and paint a picture of gloom,I can accept we've no given right to win every match, victories and spoils have to be earned and fair crack to Peterhead it was there cup final and my god they almost won it.,but it's gonna be like this everytime we play now teams will have a go as they are expected to get beat anyway,I keep hearing we've not had a pre season, players still gelling, only first few games.and fair play all points are valid, but we managed to batter east fife no problems there,it's about attitude and am sorry but clubfoot and goiania ain't up to it there heads and heart ain't in it,now ally will always be a legend in my eyes he's rangers through and through and I love that, but as gaffer am not so sure I'd love him at ibrox in some capacity but not manager,he has to ditch the w smith handbook and this 3.5.2 crap,a mean why it's the 3rd div FFs,it served us we'll in Europe and on occasion in the sphell.now I'm all for giving people a chance but let's get back to 4.4.2 solid back 4,two in the middle of park one with pace left and right and backed up with 2 up top.let's hope it was only a blip and well soon be motoring through the leagues whatever lies ahead we need show we are willing to fight our way back.I agree a good mix of youth and experience required but let's not forget these lower leagues are unforgiving and to many young guys at once and we get end up looking at a longer spell out the top flight than many could ever have imagined, got a team in mind let me know what you think!cheers watp!

Believable3 Unbelievable7

Why do our players need to be in top condition ? Peterhead are part timers our normal friendlies were against better!

Also, it is unfair to blame the players entirely McCoists "tactics" are a joke he is determined to play 3 at the back despite never once playing well in that formation (we usually go a goal down before he has to change it)

We need a strong manager who can get the best out of the calibre of players we've got and are likely to get.

I'd give Sue Barker a call if I was Ally because he is never a football manager and judging by the look on his face he knows it too

Agree4 Disagree0

Darren Cole im afraid, is murder...he went on loan to Thistle last year, and ended up not even in the squad...and he was getting freed if we were in div 1 or spl

Has to better than Clubfoot, nobody is as bad as him. He is a laughing stock with other teams in Scotland

Hoping a few fellow bears could help. Going to buy a Rangers strip this season. Obviously there is the home shirt modeled on 1972. Would you recommend the strip with or without the Tennent's sponsor on the shirt? I see you can get either.

What is and where can you get the away strip?

The third strip (obviously not in europe anymore) with the black and blue looked really nice - I noticed it was on pre-order online but not anymore it seems. Perhaps it's not getting releases anymore or will it be released as an away strip?

Some of the questions above you wouldn't ask if you live in the UK and could walk into a shop to see the tops, but I live in Australia now so obviously can't.

Cheers for your help lads!

Believable2 Unbelievable5

You'll be lucky to get any strip at the moment mate.
The team didn't even wear one on Saturday, we wore our training kit.

Agree5 Disagree0

Very helpful this newco family eh?....NOT!
For what it's worth mate I always buy the Celtic top without the sponsors name on the front looks a lot better so I'm sure your top would probably be the same. Just my opinion tho! It's a bit sad that not one of you fellow fans has not had the decency to give you a reply. There's a good chance that this strip might be pulled once the liquidation comes a calling as you might have to change the badge. Hope that helps.

Briggs

Agree7 Disagree2

I would say that if you can afford it, buy every new top you can. As my fellow Tom above said, there is a chance they could be pulled at a later date. If new strips are released, then at least you've got a bit of history in you hands. That's how I see it anyway.

Agree3 Disagree0

G'day mate.
Agree with Briggsy.Get the top without the sponsor logo if you can,as it looks like one of them "iron on" transfers. Cheap and tacky.
The strip is meant to be retro and celebrating Barca Bears 72. You may have difficulty finding it now though,as the ones in the shops have got the sponsor logo on them. I got the last one in adult size in JJB a few months ago. Went back in a few weeks ago for one for my daughter.Girls/boys sizes don't have the sponsor on them, the guy in the shop said the latest deliveries(adult sizes) all have the logo on them now.
Don't know what's happening with the black and blue away top though.
P.O.B.

Agree0 Disagree0

Top class replies. Thanks heaps lads. I actually didn't realise my post had done into this section. I'll try and get a hold of the top without the sponsor but like you say will be hard. I did notice on ebay and on amazon through jjb you can the home top for 20 notes now. Very cheap! I did notice on the JJB's official ebay shop though that one of the pictures has a premier league badge on it. The amazon picture didn't have this. I wonder if they made these when the club was technically still in the premier league and now they're selling them off cheap? :s

Am I the only one who thinks Green is probably legit and can be trusted but he is very unprofesional during interviews etc. with comments like

"bigotry",

"There will be more players coming into the club before deadline day, but I can't say who they are because I can't pronounce their names, and there will be more players leaving the club."

Clapping his hands because he hates regan.

The "school uniforms" comment

Fair enough he is trying to win the fans over but surely he cant keep acting like this. We wan't to be a respected club and with his antics our reputation is slightly tarnished. But I trust the man, just don't believe he needs to cause any more trouble. After all we don't want to have a Liewell of our own doe we?

Believable9 Unbelievable12

Haha, got to laugh at the comment about Lawell - what an idiot you are. Perhaps if you had a man with the business nous of Lawell at the helm you wouldn't be a newco playing in Div 3. Man you guys crack me up...............martyc1888

Agree9 Disagree4

How i long for a leader like Willie Waddell always conducted himself in a manner that made us all proud to be fans of Glasgow Rangers. In recent years only David Holmes has came anywhere near the standard expected of a chairman/Ceo of our great club.Mr.Green has so much to learn about the history of our great club,at the moment he is clearly learning from the "wrong people". Act, speak and conduct youRself with dig nity,Mr. Green and we will allow you to join our history.jaz. rtid.

Agree3 Disagree3

I can only assume your talking about the solvent Celtic PL...what exactly has he 'liewell' about ?

Agree3 Disagree1

Lay off charles green! seems to be doing what he always has done being up front the guy was correct on the bigotry front! yes 100%, did you read in the gutter press today that a fan was arrested at the peterhead game for singing a sectarian song, One Arrest, was there any other arrests at any other games over the weekend ? no! aye right, blatant Bigotry and hatred against us yet again, Mr Green was also right when he said he could not name players we were looking at as he could not pronounce their names, well neither can I, keep up the great work Charles the good time's will return sooner than you think.

Agree1 Disagree6

So why don't you wright him and tell him not to use bigots and hate to attract fans in, sad things is by him doing this show you what he has to do to get on the good side of most of you fans. And about pl just goes to show you that greens comments has legs to it because pl has done a great job and is well liked around football and have Celtic down to a nothing dent where selling one player wipes it out. Pl could have helped yous out and would have kept your club alive unlike your legend dm that ended your club, but maybe it's just jealousy but I think it goes past that.

So Mr Green says that he does NOT HAVE to pay off oldco Rangers football debts and he is doing it as he is such a nice yorkshireman. What a pile of sh&te. He only got permission to join and play if he agreed to take on the debts. He sounds like a typical Yorkshireman, about to welch on his bets. Eeeh, bye gum, I wuz tinking aboot pullin wool over T´Rangers fans eyes, but caught caught. The man should be chased. AND HE HAS NOT, NOT PAID. Even Rapid Vienna are still waiting - go on, ask them. Go on their wen site. They want their money. UEFA coming to call soon.

Believable13 Unbelievable7

Mr Green has stated that all SPL debts have been paid, let me repeat that for the idiots "SPL DEBTS", some people should read (or in this case, get someone who can) the statement again and try to understand that when he said "SPL" that is what he meant. Duuuuuuuuuuuu.........

You have lost the plot pal. Dismissed by Hull City for numerous problems including a pre-arranged fight with Nick Barmby at the Humber Bridge Park in full view of the Women's Institue and watched by most of the first team squad. The Chairman was forced to appear on local TV and issue a public apology. Constantly injured Bullard was being paid £37500 per week (not a misprint) and caused endless problems and was dismissed without compensation. His behaviour continued at Ipswich.

Levein's reason for leaving Wallace out of Scotland squad
"It is very difficult for anyone playing in the Third Division in Scotland to be up to the speed of an international match"
Good point can accept that and sure most people will agree.

At SFA Headquarters in a wee dark room.....Levein deep in thought..."who can I select for midfield" bright light comes on in his brain "I know that guy whats his name....oh aye Black he plays for Rangers he'll be good ahl pick him" doh. and this guy is tasked with gettin Scotland to the world cup.
Levein is absolutely useless and in any other job would be sacked for his stupidity, if nothing else, but this is ths SFA and they are all f***in stoopid so they don't see it at all.
How we gonna see a good Scotland team ever under that a**eholes guidance....its time for him to go.....world cup finals...don't make me laugh...he couldny manage his way out a straight corridor wi an arrow pointin one way only.

Believable30 Unbelievable6

Sadly, I dont think anyone else wanted the job that's why he is there.

"We handed £500,00 to the SFA last Thursday to clear up all the fines and to pay what we owed the clubs."
Charles Green

I thought we owed £4m, including Jelavic's fee to Vienna, Wallaces's fee to Hearts.
Then of course there is the £160K fine the old club received and I'm pretty sure the fine handed to Whyte was levied at the old club too.

Charlie's on one massive p**s take! {Ed001's Note - or it could have been a final payment?}

Believable12 Unbelievable14

OK ED001. It could have been a final payment. - ahem, then why did not Mr Green simplay state that it was a final payment on top of what had already been paid. He chose not too. Why? because he is limping along and buying time. He has not paid Rangers dues, NO HE HAS NOT. Rangers are still in ther mire and the man Green is probably worse than Whyte. Watch what happens.
Surely if I had doubters I would show them the evidence of my good intentions, the man Green just shouts off his mouth and hands over the bare minimum to try to keep folk happy. FRAUD all around at our club. {Ed001's Note - if you say so, but I would assume it was because he had no need to mention anything else.}

Agree4 Disagree3

Do yourself a favour and actually read what was said, he only mentioned debts to scottish clubs.

JG

Agree8 Disagree5

He is being clever with words. He has not paid the debt in full, only what was outstanding as per the payment schedules.Hearts and rapid will stil be owed money. This guy is a chancer who needs cash,it seems, quickly.

Agree4 Disagree3

I really doubt Green has paid off all the debts and if he really did phone Radio Scotland then why would he not be put on instead of the usual nympty callers to Traynor's second rate show?

Have bought my season ticket but still don't trust anything this guy comes out with, i.e 3 billionaires ready to invest etc etc

Agree3 Disagree0

The money we were due from everton went to vienna

Agree1 Disagree5

Only paid the Scottish debts ya muppet

Agree2 Disagree3

Agree1 Disagree3

It is all Scottish debts that have been cleared, when since is Vienna in Scotland?

Agree1 Disagree2

Why are Rangers fans coming on here to defend the stranger Green? What do you know about him? as they say in Yorkshire -nowt. Thy knows nowt. We did not even smell the rat that was Whyte and he was only from round the corner in Loyal Larkhall. We are mugs and getting taken for a ride . . . again. Tis is going badly, very badly. He has NO cash, and if he did, Rangers would not be getting it!

Agree5 Disagree2

Rangers don't owe any more money to Hearts until next Summer so why would we pay it now?

Agree3 Disagree2

Could it be that the monies handed over where to be added to the monies that the SFA had held back from rangers for coming second in the league, therefor bringing it to the amount required to cover all Scottish Debts...

Agree0 Disagree1

Sorry, it was not long ago that people here were mentioning Rangers as a world brand. Now it seems they only want to pay off Scottish debt as a form of appeasment. Pay ALL the debts. Pay Rapid Vienna. The have not received any money from Everton. They are out of pocket and Rangers are going to get hit hard. You are not a new club only when you want to be.

Agree1 Disagree2

Why are Celtic fans coming on here slating green what do you know about him number9 nothing exactly you just want to see him as a bad man because you hope he will do what you want him to destroy rangers once and for all. Yes we don't know his intentions but what can we do desert our club what good would that do we are stuck with him and just need to pray he's at rangers for the overall benefit of rangers

Agree4 Disagree1

Uhhm Number 13. You did desert your club - more than once. First time when Note so minted Murray issued a share offer and the fans did not stump up cash to buy shares - meaning that Murray had to buy up the share issue that he had underwritten (probably as no investment bank were prepared to underwrite an issu of Rangers shares and be saddled with a bunch of shares the fans did not want. Scondly, you had the chance to club together to buy YOUR club when it went into admin. Again you did nothing. Charlie Green waltzes in and buys your club for the sum of 5 Million pounds. Not a lot of money to raise is it?
