One of you lot posted earlier that McGregor is one of the best keepers in Europe.....absolute tosh, yet again he sold the jerseys in Spain!

Casillas, Buffon, Cech, Given and Boruc could each be considered as one of the best in Europe, these guys play at the highest level consistently.....get real!....Next you lot will be crowing on about Jelavic being one of the best strikers in Europe, lol. He's good, but he's no Larsson!......Miko

Believable0 Unbelievable3

Boruc, haha he has had some proper howlers, Hibs? Rangers (Kenny Millers tap in) Given is worse than Joe Hart who you didn't mention.

GovanFR

Agree3 Disagree1

Lets just get this straight mcgregor could play anywhere in the world

Agree3 Disagree0

But Artur Boruc was one of the best in Europe? I seem to remember Mr Lawwell saying Boruc could fetch up to £20m.... how did you get for him again?

The Roly Poly Holy Goalie made that many mistakes, he could've had his own weekly edition of You've Been Framed

Mark WATP

Agree1 Disagree0

Boruc cant get a game for a shoddy fiorentina side, shagger would walk into that team plus any other team in britain and europe if called upon

Agree0 Disagree0

How did mgregor sell the jerseys??

I must admit, he must have felt so embaressed for the state of the celtic players that he even threw one in the net for yous and you still got pumped 4-2

Rikkisixx

Agree0 Disagree0

Miko once again talking mince not 1 goal was his fault an fatty boruc he aint a good keeper an he is proving that every week in italy u know nothing about fitba

Agree0 Disagree0

Boruc was good for 4-5 howlers a season, mcgregors had 1 in how many years? Heres some moments that make my observation that mcgregor is in the top 3 keepers in europe today. His performance against werder bremen in germany, his penalty save against big sammy last season and also at parkhead a few seasons back when cuellar was sent off for handball on the line and also his penalty save against falkirk on the opening day of the season a few years back, a game we won 1 nil thanks to his save after velicka scored for us. His handling, shot stopping and distribution is first class. only casillas is potentially the better keeper. miko is obviously bitter that we are graced with great keepers, shagger, klos, niemi, charbonnier, woods and of course the goalie. The closest keeper celtic have had to any of ours would have been someone on a par with andy dibble. away and dream about finding a keeper half as good as shagger you wee bitter man. j1985. P.s rangers don't compare strikers to larsson, we gauge them on true goalscorers like super ally....the man who carries on a true rangers tradition....winning league titles. 4iar.

Agree0 Disagree0

Buffon :s maybe a few years ago not now! given not a chance mcgregor is twice the goalie he is and boruc ye having a laugh he done that bad at fiorentina there was alot of talk of him going back to poland because no1 wanted him in my opinion there is only a hand full of keepers better than mcgregor and thats maybe hart casillias valdes cech(but he hasnt been top form for a while) and thats all i can think of off the top of my head

See Jellyfish and Papa C are involved in playoffs, wonder if they will turn out for their countries or like most rangers players pull out with a "tight hamstring" then make a great recovery to play on the saturday. At least other clubs apart from gers are proud to play for their country.

Believable0 Unbelievable7

Clubs don't play for their country ya fanny, it's the players.

Agree2 Disagree0

Do Celtic have any players apart from the hunchback that get in the Scotland squad. Fatty Commons always pulls out.

GovanFR

Agree1 Disagree0

No neck is the only one cause Scott on the Brown in injured

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe rangers pay these players wages? Any footballer should have the right to put club before country for that reason alone. look at big john kennedy. My heart goes out to him, playing for his country cost him what maybe would have been a very decent career. and who suffered in the long run?...celtic and the player, not scotland. j1985

Where is wylde in the Scotland squad? Surely a bit of pace widnae go amiss in the scotland squad.

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Plays in under 21s mate

Agree2 Disagree0

He plays in the U-21s, and given the right coaching, he can become a first team mainstay

Agree1 Disagree0

I think big ears Stark is doing a good job for the Under 21's, quality coach and we can already see some future stars in that sqquad that good play a big a part in the World Cup Qualifiers

Rikkisixx

Agree0 Disagree0

But why is Forrest in the squad then and wyldes only in the u21s when wylde is definitely better?

Does anyone know if I would be able to get tickets at Ibrox on Saturday for the game? Because there is not time to phone and post tickets out now. Thanks

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Yes you should mate.

Agree2 Disagree0

You can phone and pay, then collect them at the ticket office on the day of the game ramie govan f

Agree2 Disagree0

Mr Whyte will personally drive you to Ibrox if you are buying tickets ha ha

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont bother the ticket office the day of the game is a shambles

Agree0 Disagree0

I think you can buy tickets from JJB on Argyle St, either that there are always tickets available at Ibrox Subway

Evening Bears,

Nearly Saturday and back to the real football!

I heard a rumour at work today that on Saturday Ra Sellick are going to draw at Kilie and the gers will win at Ibrox to open up a 12 point gap!

Any truth in this rumour or just banter?

To be honest a think kilmarnock will take atleast a point of the manky mob lets hope so
campbell

Agree4 Disagree0

TBH, Kilmarnock are stuck playing this passing from the back, type of 'Barca' Football, when they obviously don't have the quality. Celtic press teams too high in the SPL to stop this type of play especially when you don't have the quality to pull it off. I hope I am wrong, but we should concentrate on the Bears.

To all the muppets banging on about supporting Scotland and England, someone has put it on the main pages, have a look and see what people think about it.I'm a proud Englishman and we don't need any plastic fans supporting us.If your Scottish then support your own country and less of this British BS. Britain has nothing to do with football. If there was a GB team how many of your diddy players would even be considerd, NONE.I laughed last night watching Spain trounce Scotland, thats what REAL England fans do.Never read so much carp on here before, your Eddy is right its pathetic.I've heard of glory hunters at clubs but NEVER at internationals. HAHA saddos. You have my sympathy Bond dealing with that tripe. LMAO
England '66

England 66, how can anyone be a gloryhunter supporting England lmao. You should get to the AA and try and get off the drink. No England team in the near future or even in the next 10 years will win any of the major trophies. So wake up and be alcohol free for a change lol.
Scotland RFC 67

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Allan McGregor, Steven Naismith, Charlie Adams, Alan Hutton, Darren Fletcher just to name a few. How many of your over paid over rated diddy players would be considered for the Scotland team? I shout for every team that plays England.....
Scotland RFC 67

Agree3 Disagree0

Ahh you were doing such a good job pretending to be an Englishman, but let yourself down by using one word.....diddy! Im in the RAF. Ive spent years living in parts of England and Scotland working alongside people from all over the UK and never in my 9 years have I heard a single Englishman use the word "diddy".
Nice try mate but at the end of the day you are a s**t stirrer and nothing else! Pathetic

Agree2 Disagree0

England'66 the problem with England is you constantly tell everyone you have good players, when the fact is the would get no where near Spains team. Rooney would get close but who else, no one. If there was a team GB Flethcer would probably be in it, McGregor is better than Joe Hart. Keeping living in the past 66 was a long time ago and you wont be winning anything for a long time.

GovanFR

Agree1 Disagree0

Can u remember germany giving england a humping ore did u forget about that one all u english are as bad as the runners up from scotland.always going on about 66! get a life.what has england done! S.F.A if use are that good then why did use not enter the 4 nations, i will tell u why.because all u english are disolusiond (spelling) just like the USA, u all think u are world beaters and u were actualy scared to enter the 4 nations because of fear of not winning the tournament, because use all think ure league is the best in the world. trust me you may have a good league but ure national team are nothing special. so go home and remember 66 and i will think about 13,14 ramie govan f

Agree0 Disagree0

RAF or not you should know that English people use the word diddy to describe the SPL and its players, you really should know that, you have enough of them after all.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its cool cause ur diddys r playing spain soon, football lesson coming up me thinks and if i remember correctly what was the score the last time we played . plus at least our diddys play for the jersey and not chasing an extra 50 grand a week .. oh p.s just wait till fifa bring in the money spenditure rule now this could get interesting... trueblue rfc

Agree2 Disagree0

What you doing posting on a Scottish clubs page for then you mug??

Agree0 Disagree0

England 66 was laughing at us against Spain. wot bout Germany England. 4-1 I believe

Agree0 Disagree0

Who is Bond?

Agree0 Disagree0

I remember jim baxter sitting on the ball at wembley after scotland gubbed the world champions 3-2 in 1967 and you know what take your englishness and shove it up alongside the stuff that comes out your mouth- stupid people ha ha ha their ignorance is bliss.

Agree1 Disagree1

It was 5 - 1 to ze Germans not 4

Agree0 Disagree0

Guys, don't even rise to the bate. Because it's sad. The more people like this rave about how good England are, the stupider they look come next summer, and then 2014, then 2016 and so on when they are knocked out in the last 16 or last 8. Germany, Italy, Spain, Holland, Portugal always produce in the tournaments because they are truly great teams. England aren't. If anything it is worse that England haven't reached the last 4 of a tournament since 96 than it is for Scotland not to qualify.

as a 70 year old bear, dont get carried away with this present side .they are very poor ,only the best of a bad lot,we have got a good goalkeeper one good midfielder and two capeble strikers ,probaly the worst gers team i have watched, league winners yes good team no/

Believable4 Unbelievable4

Ive seen us worse and im under half your age, were not great but we arent poor, were getting by but we will never attract better players here now-unless an oil barron buys us then playing for the jersey is out the window
steve the ger

Agree2 Disagree0

A bet anybody that 70 year olds name is wee old tired bob he posts on here about ones a month and always has a go at the gers that is because he is propabley a manky mob fan

I am also around your age and you are talking BS. I am not saying current team are superstars but we most certainly have had worse.

Some daftie started posting as me on the Sellik page... why? I leave a space between my name and WATP to be different from the rest who use WATP & so people knew it was me posting... now this muppet is doing the same.

If you see any drivel or negative post about the Gers on this site and my name at the end of it, definitely not me, my glass is always half full when it comes to The Rangers.... the last post I left was the one about Arsenal & Rangers.

For those who say Murraypark does not produce enough top players....the proof was there in alicante last night. One of the best goalkeepers in Europe, a 9 million right back in Hutton and a 8 million pound player in Adam. Through in the likes of Ross McCormack and Danny Wilson and there are 5 full internationalists all from Rangers youth system. Ass to that Ness, Hutton and Cole, who all look likely to come through and prove successful then i would say Murraypark has well and truely produced some fine players.
J1985

Believable6 Unbelievable2

I agree with you on McGregor, Adam and Hutton, but lets face it, none of the others have set the heather on fire. Ness has done well when he is fit, McCormac is starting to up his game but has not done too much and the other defender is not getting a game at Liverpool so what good is that to anyone? As for Hutton and Cole, well they are not playing in the first team are they? They are not winning us the CL which pain me as it does, Ceptic had a team full of home grown talent that won it.

The youth set up is not great but it is not the worst either. It will not get any better untill the reserves have league to play in...

Agree0 Disagree0

What use is wilson to anyone?.... well 2 million to us for a start. He will do well in his career thays for sure and we will benefit from sell on fees or if he makes it at liverpool then through appearences. McCormack has been excellent in the championship since he has gone there, ness has done great for us when he has been fit and hutton and cole will be first team players tail end of this season/start of next. I haven't even mentioned ross perry who again looks the part. so from my point of view we have an exciting bunch of lads coming through and have benefited well from murraypark. j1985

Agree0 Disagree0

I have always said rangers seems to have the better younger (Scottish) players than Celtic, heard a while ago it's roughly 1 in 700 make it at Celtic, don't what rangers is right enough.

Stated above all the players who have seemed to do good for them self.only player we really sold on was mcgeady think he will do ok but that's cause of Russia & the money there.

Think in about 10 years or so both teams will have to bring through the younger ones as the money side of football is getting out of control, also in a ideal world if all/most Scottish teams pulled through the Scottish players then it would give the Scotland team half a chance of doing well.

Lenny

Agree2 Disagree0

A was a huge Alan Hutton fan but he was rank rotten last night no positional sense he was dragged in constantly leaving us exposed and he can't tackle without giving a foul, I would put bardsley at right back Lee Wallace at left !

Agree6 Disagree0

Did everyone forget about Wylde ? I think given the chance alot of our youth could become first team players but they need game time, as the guy said in a previous post about the reserve league if or when they ever decide to bring it back, the sfa allways go on about improving the scottish game how can stopping players over theage of 19 improve the standard of Scottish football if they don't get a game

Just a thaught could we not try get some of the English lower prem reserve teams and start a wee brittish reserve league and I kno what some people will think that I am trying to bring up the whole old firm in England debate but I honestly think it would work

Agree1 Disagree1

As a level 3 referee with the FA, I totally agree. It would raise our profile and give our fringe players a chance. (I referee in the Football League and also in the Football League Youth Alliance) I also work for the FA in England as a referees tutor, mentor and assessor. I am Scottish, still live in Scotland, (just) and am a former season ticket holder in the Copeland Rd. Just in case you care to doubt my knowledge ;)

nothing to do with rangers but I just wanted to post that vidic is to announce his retirement from international football after serbia failed to qualify for euro 2012.great news for scotland!!

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Why is this great news for Scotland?

Agree0 Disagree0

?? Did I miss something there ??

Agree0 Disagree0

What he means is we have Serbia in the world cup group stages and vidic is retiring so it is good for Scotland i think that is what he means anyway

Agree1 Disagree0

Oh right fair enough

Agree0 Disagree0

Correct- got to look forward

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Oct 2011 06:43:13
If we do have money to spend then we could do with another forward as I think we have enough cover in defence and midfield. We should go in for Jordan Rhodes of Huddersfield he has a great scoring record 45goals from 100 app in last 2 years and has scored 5 in 2 app for Scotland 21's. One for the future and big and strong and knows where the goal is - could be ideal foil for Jelavic.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

He could actually be jelly fish
replacement if the right
club ciomes in with 8mill

Agree1 Disagree0

Would love to see him here, just think that he would be priced way above what we could afford , smashin player though

Agree0 Disagree0

I said we should have went for rhodes at the start of the season and got laughed at whats changed now?

12 Oct 2011 01:58:44
I'm looking forward to the tax case being resolved and it holding no liability to Rangers, how daft are the dhims going to feel or maybe they won't because they have no common sense. I think when the tax case is resolved that's when we'll see a big change in Rangers, redevelopment outside Ibrox and decent transfer fees. Looking forward to that but for now I'll look forward to our 4th title in a row. WATP.

Believable5 Unbelievable3

Or it could go the other way huge tax bill administration cut price players sale and playing a youth team.

Agree2 Disagree4

Even with the youth team we would destroy the manky mob

You sem very cocky it is still only October long way to go. As for the tax case sand head buried.
