Actually won last night Tom, won £58 the night before, banked the £50 and bet the £8.33 or something. Lost the 5er obviously but took £28 quid for the £3 odd before Argentina kicked off, the drew 1-1 so I done the right thing. Bet was worth £148 or something but waiting on 3 South American teams is always difficult. Done the right thing. As I say the cash out is murder it can be good or bad which then plays on you’re head every time u get offered it. I got £58 on Wednesday and £28 on Thursday so I’m doing ok mate. Used to be a big gambler betting thousands on doubles n trebles so it’s just a wee interest now mate 👍 good luck with you’re horses today 👍.

So many famous people have been flawed and made mistakes. I loved Gazza as much as I love Rangers, but the best British player I have ever seen has to be George Best (and how flawed was he? ) . Imagine Gascoigne and Best in the same team? The thing outside football they had in common is booze.

Gotham is better than banks Kennys prob the best Scotsman though although before my time so fair play. I wouldn’t have beckham in that list mate. England have Bobby Moore maybe Geoff hurst ahead of becks.

Stevie G is probably ahead of becks in his career achievements. Gerrard was the best English player since Gazza. Still is.

Good question mate, and no matter how many people vote for Gazza, best etc, there isn’t a definitive answer for me, and possibly never will be, and anyone who argues otherwise is arguing something that will never be proven, there’s many who will possibly not be considered, but where truly world class, like Hoddle and Le Tissier and Baxter etc.

Yip Me2,gazza was my favourite rangers player of all time and my god what a footballer 👌 I've seen it myself mate and without a doubt paul gascoigne as well as having been a world class footballer, was a down to earth 🌎, working class gateshead lad, with a heart of gold!
He was an absolute god of a footballer and i still haven't seen any other player close to gazza in the british game! We'll never see his likes again 👌A very special god given talent indeed 👌.

The man has demons yes, and he's an alcoholic and done stupid things on drink doesn't mean to say the guy doesn't regret these things and is exempt from forgiveness, atleast he holds his hands up to what he's done. Should also watch the Mike tyson documentary very honest great watch also made mistakes he regrets.

Geronimo we are all products of our environment mate, the circumstances of our upbringings and the experiences we go through while our brains are still developing and therefore it struggles to process the traumatic events we go through. That can effect our mental health for the rest of our lives. Gazza witnessed a young boy die in front of his very eyes when he was the one who should’ve been watching him. It was very nearly Gazza that got hit, just Sod’s law how it happened. Toss of the coin if u like. And Gazza has stated he wishes it was him. He was already a hyperactive kid displaying signs of adhd. That experience obviously shaped the person he became. I have 3 daughters mate I know where you’re coming from. But Gazza isn’t a bad person, more a tortured soul. Haunted by his demons and unable to control them. He therefore uses alcohol, and at times cocaine, as a coping mechanism. It’s the one thing he can control (in his mind) he can’t actually control it. He’s made mistakes and big ones. But other than sheryl the only person he’s ever hurt is himself. What he does to himself is a form of self harm. You’re not wrong in what you say mate but maybe be more understanding. There’s bad people out there, Gazza isn’t one of them.

I made the point regarding gazza after the jones/ edmundson party fiasco. I never heard many calling for him to be kicked out the door for something much worse. A poster actually wrote, it was different times back then, as if it was ever ok to beat your wife to a pulp. Great player but he doesn't get a pass from me for that, I totally agree with geronimo on that point.

There has been no suggestion at all that any of the other players or staff that have produced negative results (Borna being one of them) will have to isolate. So far the rest of the squad has carried on to Sweden to play their next game. This of course could change but at this point there has been nothing stated to suggest he or anyone else in their squad will have to isolate. (The difference with this situation and say, the Armstrong, Christie and Tierney one was that they were all sitting around in the same hotel room together playing xbox for hours in a confined space. In the Croatia situation IF all that has happened is that these players have been on the same training pitch together, outside, then hopefully it’ll be ok. Otherwise they’d currently be having to isolate their whole squad and not play any of their other games, which hasn’t happened. )

Seem that efriar, Scotland today? Scotland unbeaten in 8 matches not conceded in last 3, serbia did beat Norway 2-1 though in the semi obviously to get here? I checked the stats there the now they drew 2-2 with turkey in last game lost 1-“ to Hungary before that. What I found interesting is Luxembourg have scored 3 goals against them in 2 games, losing 3-2 and 2-1 but that’s not great form from Serbia. Also drawing 2-2 with Ukraine losin 3-1 to Russia bear Lithuania 2-1 and Paraguay 1-0 so they are definitely there for a goal or 2 it will be down to our defence which we all know isn’t great. I fancy 1-1 and extra time after that I give up lol.

I seen an article there saying current leicester city centre half jonny evans is out of contract this coming summer and that rangers maybe interested. He's still only 32 years old, which as we know is still young enough for a centre half. Personally for me although i rate evans and i know he's a massive bluenose, i honestly don't think we need him! I think we've currently got 5 good centre halfs in our squad, although edmundson could be sold in january or at the end of this season. On this subject could you please do a rangers centre half poll for me ED, would be much appreciated mate 👍

Think he’s be a great partner for Goldson he’s an upgrade on Helander however he’s down there contesting the epl with Leicester and chasing champions league spots. I've been over in northern ireland on many occasions and met his uncle karl in the shankhill rangers club on a few occasions. The family are all rangers fans and i've met both jonny and corry a good few years ago now in northern ireland 👍.

Interestingly I spoke to Johnny Evans a year or so ago about whether he would ever consider turning out for the teddy bears! His kids in the same school as ours and he’s been on a few school trips and kids parties.

He said that it would be amazing if it happened but didn’t think it likely. Said he was pretty settled where he was and didn’t fancy spending more time away from the family. That said, times change, and he already spends a good bit away travelling from Manchester to Leicester through the week. But 1 thing was clear, he knew all about our history and was buzzing to talk about the Gers!
