Can we stop with the Lafferty has changed posts he’s still a rat b@$t@rd and should
Never be made welcome at ibrox along side his chum

12 May 2018 17:22:40
Couldn't agree more Richard

12 May 2018 17:24:43
Need to move on mate. He'd be a good option for us. His 19 goals this season would have won us more points. As for naismith I believe if a free we should jump all over that.

12 May 2018 18:02:21
Do we forget the Naismith press conference guys? This should never ever be forgotten and I know he had to move for the sake of his career, but to sit there and spill bile about Rangers FC was inexcusable 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

12 May 2018 18:55:59
I'm one for 2 nd chances. Both would enhance and improve what we have and doubt the wages would be high. Up to the boss SG but I'm sure he will be well aware of them.

12 May 2018 19:10:37
And youve never made a mistake in your life yately1 eh, he has already stated that he regrets that interview and what he said. If you do make a mistake i hope you get more compassion than your showing.

12 May 2018 19:12:06
I don't want them back either but richard get over it

12 May 2018 19:33:49
Id rather get new young hungry guys in but not for any of the bitter twisted reasons above. Cheek to have a go at celtic fans for exhibiting those very same behaviours/ opinions. We are the people and we are are better than this pish patter

12 May 2018 20:07:03
No I think the pish patter came from Whittaker and Naismith, Don't you think?

12 May 2018 20:25:15
Yately, I can't forgive a fan refusing to accept any player who would improve our team.

If you don't want to see a better player that what we've got, you have no place in the Rangers family

12 May 2018 21:00:35
Lafferty has had a decent enough season, Naismith looks a shadow of the player he once was. I'd like to think S. G will be signing better.

12 May 2018 21:58:52
Pena and herrara or lafferty and naismith? I know who I'd prefer. The last 2 have won titles and beat celtic teams. 2 prob cheap options that know the club, opposition and I would imagine jump at chance to work with SG. Get them signed. definitely prefer naismith to Dorrans.

12 May 2018 22:01:55
It should be on ability - i don't think Naismith is the player he was now, injury prone and not for me - I would say Lafferty if anything has matured and as for not forgiving him please remember the big man helped us on our way to titles with goals on the last day, firstly at Tannadice when he opened the scoring (back in the day when scumdee utd were in the top flight) and a hat trick when we blew Killie away at rugby park. He scored for us when we really needed him.

12 May 2018 22:36:28
Miller played for that mob and we brought him back .

12 May 2018 23:11:33
Naismith declared the club dead and he owed the new club nothing. Can you please post the link where he apologised. He said recently he did the right thing leaving so I would doubt he regrets what happened. Apart from being well past his best I don’t really see why we should bring him back

12 May 2018 23:22:41
If Some of our fans think that lafferty and Naismith are going to turn us into a team that opposition teams will fear then we are in trouble.

13 May 2018 00:48:13
DK17, I beg your pardon as I am entitled to my opinion on Naismith as I pay my cash to watch our great club and believe we deserve better! A lot of short memories 🇬🇧🇬🇧

13 May 2018 08:30:34
Are we really having a debate about whither we should bring two has- beens back to Ibrox? One of which took us to court for money when we didn't have a pot to piss in and the other who put the boot in when we were down and lying belly up? Have a word with yourselves, if those two are the height of your ambition then you're perhaps selling yourselves a wee bit short!

13 May 2018 09:01:13
NONE of them will wear Rangers BLUE again you’re all arguing over **** all.

13 May 2018 09:13:02
Looks like pretty split on if lafferty and naismith would, could or should return. Lucky it's not us making decisions. Just have to see.

12 May 2018 15:32:19
1st time post so go easy. I don't know if most posts from 'supposed' rangers fans are real or just designed to wind folk up but some of the brivel being spouted is unreal. To say that we are too good for windass at this moment in time and Goss isn't good enough for us is laughable! Where would we be without JW's contribution this year?! Aye he makes mistakes, aye he goes missing. he's a boy! He's going to do this for a couple of years and then he'll be an established player who could be a legend for us, or sold for a sizable fee. we are not where we were and some people need to get that into their heads.

12 May 2018 15:49:29
Windass is all the player he will ever be and goss is rotten. Got to be better class players brought in.

12 May 2018 16:10:34
U can't come on asking people to go easy on u cause it's a first time post then decide to sink the boot into people calling them "supposed" supporters! For that u have asked for a retort

12 May 2018 16:25:23
Windlass in my opinion was better when we played 442 in a diamond with him up top using his pace

12 May 2018 16:28:10
Legend or leg end? When a player such as Windass puts up posts on social media when we beat teams such as Killie and Hamilton saying “great win” etc it’s a red flag to me that they don’t understand that these games should a given for rangers standards.

12 May 2018 16:30:34
Are you dean windass in disguise? Scottish prem players don't sell for a sizable fee. Windass plays in an important position that a better player could play and make a big difference for us. He never turns up in the bigger games which is no good at all. If we can fetch anything around the 3mil that's being rumoured then happy days. I think he's had his chance.

12 May 2018 18:07:46
Josh windass, sell him simple as that! No backbone to play for a club the size of glasgow rangers! He's a hider and the glasgow rangers jersey is easily far too heavy for him! He'll do fine for a smaller club, with no pressure and no expectations! that's him summed up!

12 May 2018 18:28:51
Well where do I begin. the go easy thing was a joke; I'm glad I got the responses I got. To say that Goss and windass, at the ages they are at are done progressing in their careers is utter nonsense. Opinions are opinions, and my love is your hate, but goss has real potential-he's just getting proper 1st team action in a position where u control the game, and I see that in him and with JW it's been said a million times already. 17 goals and 11 assists from an attacking midfielder could be vital. going forward. Players learn from good coaches. Give him a season under Gary Mac and Gerrard etc and I bet u the heart and desire will come more regularly

12 May 2018 20:29:31
Easytiger, you'll get used to the fans on here given time.

Too many waiting for any opportunity to criticise our players and club but rarely have anything positive to say when things are improving.

JW is a perfect example.17 goals, 11 assists in a poor team - clearly he is rubbish!

12 May 2018 20:35:17
Haha exactly mate! We have our problems no doubt but shutting these players down like that is exactly why they're playing without confidence at times. they're young and they'll learn. If these boys have anything abt them they'll be sweating blood for the new gaffer.

12 May 2018 20:44:23
Fair points Easytiger, too many on here slam players who are developing and drain the life from them. SG will look at all the players and work out who to keep and who to punt. He will do this without blinkers and give them a fair assessment on their ability, attitude and desire. C'mon the Gers!

12 May 2018 20:51:41
Lads we have stevie g now! he will get rid of all who don't make his grade he has already said it and will do it! Of that I'm sure keep the faith! !

12 May 2018 20:54:56
Exactly bizzmybrox. If they're duds I'll be the first one to say so but I see something in them. I know it's a different level but he was a machine at Accrington and the royal blue jersey can be heavy for many a player but it looks like he's starting to get there. If he's doing this now imagine what we could have on our hands when he's 24/ 25.

12 May 2018 21:03:49
Windass has been very up and down this season but 17 goals and 11 assists means I think he should get another season. Gerrard and McAllister could be the making of him.

12 May 2018 21:33:49
Here's hoping! And hopefully with better players, a better system and a proven will to win, the ones who stay will improve.

13 May 2018 01:04:14
Windass has all the attributes to be a very good player but unfortunately his decision making is terrible and coupled with his inconsistency he'll never be a top performer for us. I'm all for giving players a fair crack and I've been rooting for Windass to prove his critics wrong but it just ain't happening. I'd snap the hand off any team willing to pay over a million.

13 May 2018 07:42:31
Have to agree with supercooper he has no backbone to play for us and needs to go. Not saying he doesn’t have ability but like many he hasn’t got the stomach to play for us

12 May 2018 15:11:44
posted last night who I’d like to see leave and got some stick for it due to how many I wanted to leave& for listing Candeias lol, but obviously realistically there won’t be half the squad leaving. so got me thinking who do you guys want to see leave/ sold? or do you think the squad is actually decent and just need coaching improvement? just something I’ve been wondering

12 May 2018 16:12:47
I think for the most part the squad is pretty decent and certainly should be good enough to mount a challenge with the correct man coaching them! We do however badly need a vast improvement in central defence and also up front

12 May 2018 16:44:28
Think we need to give our new manager time to see what he can do with this squad - some like Halliday, Pena, Hodson, Herrera, are not good enough but bear in mind that with the exception of 3 or 4, celtics team is Deila's team - Brenda has just got more out of them, Stevie G might do the same with ours.

13 May 2018 07:44:32
Matthews11

I totally agree about Candeias he is rotten and is classic example of a journeyman player

12 May 2018 12:51:41
All the best to our lads tomorrow against timco 2, please please please, don't let the unthinkable happen.
Whats the betting timco 1 will get beat on purpose against the Dons.

12 May 2018 15:53:48
The unthinkable being we get beat 12 nil and end up fourth. I cannot see it. I'm feeling confident tommorow as we need to change our line up for suspensions and I believe it will throw off hibs so I'm going 3 1 to the bears. Cummings hatrick in the script . And get a tenner on the sheep think that's a stick on especially with cup final coming up Rodgers can easily drop the whole team and have an excuse.

12 May 2018 17:09:26
12-0?

They would need to beat us 6-0.

Won’t happen anyway.

12 May 2018 18:52:16
6 nil so it is. I thought we were 23 ahead for some reason. Anyway won't matter as we r winning the game.

12 May 2018 10:55:40
What do you fella bears think about John McGinn I think he'd be a good signing! Certainly an improvement from Halliday, Jack and Holt

12 May 2018 11:25:20
He is good player and one of the best in Scotland for me. Exactly the type of winning mentality player we need. Can’t see him wanting to come to Ibrox given his family connections to Celtic

12 May 2018 11:39:23
I think he’ll do well at Celtic and I’m sure we’ll have some good battles with him!

12 May 2018 12:23:03
Whats Jack done wrong? He was consistent for us until his injury IMO. McGinn has a better engine but he’s no a better passer for me. McGinn won’t be a Rangers player anyway. absolutely despises us!

12 May 2018 12:45:10
Kaz, he would be a disaster if in the unlikely event he came to us, he is a devout timco supporter and he gives me the creeps just like that wee weed griff.

12 May 2018 12:57:37
"One of the best in Scotland" aye right.

12 May 2018 09:37:20
A new report today says club is in its "rudest of health" for first time in years? How can that possibly be? Admin 2 is just round the corner?

12 May 2018 11:26:28
Rudest of health means we are in GOOD health, don't panic.

12 May 2018 11:31:36
Behave

12 May 2018 11:53:23
ffsake follow, are you a tim? .

12 May 2018 12:24:15
Here we go again with admin 2. where do these moon howlers get this from?

12 May 2018 12:43:26
Could be missing his point. He might be having a dig at those who said admin 2 was round the corner. Or. 🤔

12 May 2018 13:10:43
Eh? I'm pretty sure follow had his tongue in his check there lads.

12 May 2018 14:00:32
Well it must be his arse cheek then because you can only really read that post one way.

12 May 2018 14:44:38
What are some folk like on here man. If you can't see what I meant by that post then you are as bright as a 2 watt bulb. Jesus Christ people!

12 May 2018 16:32:59
All three of your sentences ended in a question mark indicating you were looking for a response well you got them off us not very bright posters and you don't like it. Aye very good.

12 May 2018 16:56:54
Called sarcasm guys. I got it follow we will, although to be fair sarcasm is my native tongue

12 May 2018 16:58:58
It was a dig at some of the fantasies that the Tims have posted recently but you couldn't look at my user name and come to that conclusion. Next time I will draw you a nice little picture (in crayon ofcourse) to accompany any post I make, just so I don't give you the wrong impression again.

13 May 2018 08:43:42
Sorry FWW I didn't think to look at your user name, that would have been a sure fire way to spot your allegiances wouldn't it.
P. S. I don't get how you can draw a picture, in crayon or otherwise, on a computer.

13 May 2018 11:39:02
Jyf you didn't read the post in they humourous way it was intended. It's not a big deal move on.

Oh and a scanner would solve the uploading of a picture drawn by crayon.

13 May 2018 12:24:14
Got it only' I read it again and can't stop laughing now I'll go and scan you a picture of my sides splitting.

12 May 2018 08:42:59
With everyone's predictions that valves and cardoso will follow bates and martin out the door this leaves us with no center backs as mcrorie is clearly a midfield player. we will need to sign at least 3 the first two should be in the mould of skrtel, barfly? And maybe sign Ben henagen to push or cover them? Would like a left footed one though but we badly need aggressive CBS who are at least 6 ft3. Thoughts?

12 May 2018 09:47:57
I believe we have Tomas Isherwood Of Bayern B on trial, around 6’ 5” and going by a recent profile of the player very comfortable with the ball at his feet and commanding in the air. He was linked with THAT lot in the last transfer window but we’ve managed to get him in on trial so it looks like the management are already putting the wheels in motion to get CB’s in, I know Skrtel is just a rumour and not very likely but if we get someone in with his experience and a new talent coming through it could prove a positive move, remember how good Danny Wilson was with Davie Weir at his side to guide and talk him through games! Without Weir I don’t believe he would’ve got his big money move to Liverpool and if we can get a few like that in and moved on to start making decent money from transfers we can start mounting a serious challenge to them across the city, I’ve heard over and over about big investment coming for the last 2-3yrs and it’s never materialised so unlessthat changes I think we need to use the model that’s served them so well in raking in big money for players who have cost next to nothing! Just my thoughts!

12 May 2018 10:41:36
I think that model is probably used by every club around. The problem is having the staff that are avlt to find such players.

12 May 2018 07:57:42
Just a quick note of condolence to Dundee Utd. Karma anyone?

12 May 2018 02:07:54
hey bears, 1st posted last month, but since then stevie g has been announced as our manger and wanted to say that I couldn’t be happier with it. Seems such a breath of fresh air and talks actual sence not to mention what a box office name he is for us. Anyway I’ll get to my point. players I feel should go are the following:

Fod
Tav
Hodson
Cardoso
Alves
Windass
Dorrans
Holt
Halliday
Rossiter
Dodoo
MOH
Candeias
Morelos
Herrera

Confirmed players leaving:
Bates ( Hamburg )
Martin ( Loan )
Goss ( Loan )
Dalcio ( Loan )
Miller ( suspended )

Wallace suspended but not confirmed he’s leaving after suspension.

Personally the list I want to go probably a lot will unfortunately stay unless that get paid off as I doubt many will want them. Only ones I can see making any money out off are tav fod windass Morelos the rest would either be free or practully pennies imo. Only ones that are debatable are Alves and Rossiter. Alves a leader and well experienced player but he’s been a disaster this season and is on high wages so is he worth keeping on for “experience”? Properly not imo and as for Rossiter just because sg is our manger doesn’t mean he’s in his plans for me I’d be looking for players who are much better since we have 2 good young midfielders in McCrorie and Docherty but anyway thoughts? and here’s hoping for a good win this weekend to end this seaon on a high night bears!

12 May 2018 04:59:12
Id get rid of Alves, hasn't done enough for me.

12 May 2018 07:06:20
No Pena on that list.

12 May 2018 08:08:52
Everyone seems to be forgetting that Forrester is due to come back also. It’s a lot of players on that list and I’m not sure you can get rid of all these players in the summer. Probably take 2 or 3 transfer windows to get rid of them all. I would be surprised if Rossiter goes in the summer

12 May 2018 08:17:02
You can be guaranteed of this matthews11!Steven Gerrard will give jordan rossiter EVERY chance, to prove he's now fit, and over his injuries! Gerrard has always spoken glowingly, of rossiter, long before he became rangers manager! So if fit and injury free then there's NO chance that gerrard will let rossiter go! I'll also guarantee you that there won't be anywhere near the cull of players leaving, that you say on your list mate!

12 May 2018 08:54:27
You can’t just list the first team squad saying you want these guys to go, it doesn’t work that way. These players need better coached as most of them are good players who have lost a bit of self drive and self respect. If we replace more than 5 first team players Gerrard will be gone by Christmas. We also need quality not quantity!

12 May 2018 09:07:21
Candieas? Really? he's been our best attacking player by far this season, one of the only things Pedro actually got right was signing him!

12 May 2018 09:12:06
Completely forgot about Pena, he’d be added to the list to go to but if he’s coming back to rangers after his mother passing away then I’d hope he gets the help he needs 1st before moving on unless he gets bought up straight away. which is highly unlikely after his antics with Cruz Azul

12 May 2018 09:34:48
Matthews. what are you on?

12 May 2018 09:52:17
I can not believe anyone would want rid of Candeias, the guy gives 100% and covers every blade of grass on the right wing, tracking back and covering for Tav, the most assists in the entire league, all he needs is a target man in the box alongside AM or JC and we would bang the goals in, as unpopular as it may sound, there’s still a footballer in Kyle Lafferty who wins a lot in the air, he showed his prowess against Hivs and has a decent return of goals for the Jam tarts, I await the abuse for this comment!

12 May 2018 11:33:37
I hope I’m wrong and Gerrard can get the best out a underachieving squad, again like I said in my post Of course i don’t expect a lot off these guys to leave since that’s basically Majority off the 1st team lol, but I’m entitled to my opinion and I feel a lot off these players are not up to the challenge and I’d rather have a smaller squad with quality players rather than have squad players just for backup

11 May 2018 23:59:32
Lafferty was good for us last time round, not what we want going forward. we want better. One thing about Lafferty though. he scores against THEM. and loves it. Was great to see him and naismith ram it to that wee one the other night as well and knows the score about what rangers are about. If he was in morelos position this season would have scored more than 5 in old firm games?
Derran brown pre season to sort his heed out.

12 May 2018 08:12:52
Lafferty can play upfront on his own which I think Cummings can’t I think lafferty would be a good signing for us and wouldn’t cost a fortune. I also like Berra think he’s a good centre half and wins everything in the air. I agree we could get a lot better but 2 cheaper options imo

11 May 2018 23:27:59
I can't believe people give windass stick as his dad says without his goals we probably wouldn't be where we are currently yes he goes missing in games but so does a lot of players in our team and especially other teams but in saying that I would take 4-5 million for him not a bad return considering we payed buttons for him asking as there is a decent replacement lined up and we have to insert a sell on clause so we stand to earn if he moved again also really need to comment on this what is it with all these investment rumours we had our chance with ashley n blew it all these people wanting David Murray back are people mental the only reason we aren't where we need to be is because of him yes was great at time to see all the great players we had back then but cost is in the long run

12 May 2018 07:50:35
Gerrardloyal, the problem with windass is he ( on the face of it ) does not give 100% in games, he scored against them at Ibrox after 2 mins. and that was it in his eyes job done tools away, you forget he's playing in some games until he gets caught off side or commits a foul. People get on his back because there is so much more to him but he does not show it. A good strong manager might be able to get more out of him but 3mil is too tempting for me.

12 May 2018 11:56:48
Bite your hand off for 3 million.

A player who has everything. Height, pace, strength, skill, can pass, etc

But he has no heart, no passion and no desire. What a waste of talent.
