Good to see ( and hear) the new RTV commentary team sounds so much better and even the way they have the pundits pitch side and the appearance of players who are out with knocks ecr it was good to see David Tanner as well as I had a chat with him back in February at a legends doo and asked him straight out as I really didn't know just asked him was he a bluenose he said well his dad used to take him to waych the gers and rought him up a gers man and i said i really though back in the day sky tried to get guys qho were impartial although with who they being in now no but nack in the day always thought to please people they tried to get people who would be impartial and I shook his hand and said it good to know your one of us.

Rangers TV looks like a much better option this season. More professional looking, going pitchside for analysis instead of Tom spouting rubbish for 15 minutes. Anything is an improvement over Tom Miller but to get Clive in is great. You can tell he's not quite up to speed with all things Rangers just yet but already enjoying the show.

Hardly been commenting due to work and working away. I’ve watched us from afar and I can’t believe as supporters of our great institution how we get on our owns back. Hagi over the past two games has come in for some criticism and maybe rightly so but he’s a young lad and is eager to do well. SG likes to switch the three behind our striker which me personally think he should leave Hagi as number 10 and switch the wide players. He ain’t a left or right winger and he has the pass and touch to play the striker in. Just my observation/ opinion and can we not just enjoy the start we’ve had instead of picking holes in players games with only 3 games in?

Very competent performance tonight, I thought Alfie had scored with the shot before he came off, credit to their goalie though, I need to see more of Roofe and Itten before passing judgement, Arfield is clearly struggling with not being in the team, just my opinion. Barisic is pure quality, the best player at Ibrox by a mile, I hope we keep him for the full season.

I have a feeling that Hagi is going to become the fans favourite to get on his back. Think about what he is asked to do guys. He is asked to find the final pass which doesn't always come off. Great pass to Barasic for Kents goal. Hagi is a class player and time will prove that.

You are spot on mate, hard shift we are asking him to do. If you want a player to have the magic moment that can unlock things you have to accept that there will be a lot of times it doesn't come off. I still feel he will prove invaluable and is different from the tidy passing sideways types we filled midfield with last season.

It’s a joke at times, not just on here, all over social media pages. A lot of the fans are the same at games aswell, getting on players backs. Then they wonder why they bottle it all the time. It’s true you need a thick skin to play for our club. Sometimes our fans are embarrassing the way they don’t get behind the players. Folk moaning about the line up before the games even started, same team that’s won 2/ 2 and folk are moaning.

Hagi has had a slow start to the season. However his movement is excellent at times and he finds himself involved in a lot of our good work.
he sort of reminds me of Ozil in a lot of ways in which his good work can go unnoticed whilst making him an easy target for criticism.
Hes still a young player and the question is does he stay in the side for sunday or does Roofe come in from the start.

He never had a great game, but there's definite talent there. This boy has talent that needs to be nurtured and confidence will be paramount to this. Got to remember how young he is. Given time, and the right support, he will be a top player for us.

Dunfermlineloyal, Roofe looked miles off it when he came on last night. I think he had possession 10 times and gave the ball away 8 times so I'd definitely stick with Hagi for the next game until Roofe gets up to speed. What I liked about Roofe was that although he kept giving the ball away he also kept looking for it again rather than going missing.

As much as McGregor has been immense for us over the years, does anyone else think he might have a hard time replacing McLaughlin? For a free, he's been a brilliant piece of business. Very assured, calm, better with the ball at his feet and hasn't lost a goal when he's played.

McLauchlin got the ability to push mcgregor and i don't think Gerrard would hesitate to switch them when needed. Looks like a good player to succeed alan at the club tho.

Nonsense Me2. Hagi had a good game tonight. He sees passes others don't and trys to unlock defences all the time. Exactly what we've been shouting about for the last 2 years. Unfortunately if you are the player asked to find the killer pass then more often than not it won't come off. I for one am delighted to have him at Ibrox.

I think Borna is easily our most valuable player what a left peg.
His delivery is second to none and rarely wastes a cross unlike the crosses getting swung over the top of everyones head from the right from our captain. His cross to pick out kent for his goal was pinpoint accuracy. what a player and how lucky we are that our manager stuck by him.

At the Megastore today with the grandson for his new top, place was mobbed. Wee guy on the door said that today had been a quieter day than the previous few, which were heaving. Point is, the response from our amazing fans has been, maybe even more than usual, phenomenal. I was proud to be queuing with fellow bears to support our great club, and was impressed with the quality of the merchandise on sale. I believe we are about to enter a new, successful era of Glasgow Rangers where we will once again rule Scottish football.

Theres a few people saying re the issue with the sheep and them that if the game can't be played due to the stupidity of thier own players the the game should count as a win but how would that work for say the game that emwas due to be played on Saturday between the sheep and them who gets the win or does it go down as a draw so they each get a point without having to even play the game which doesn't sound fair but as I've said before i just hope that our boys are more sensible and stick to the rules which means if any of our own do test positive for this virus at least they can say we followed the guidelines and done things the proper way and they've been really unlucky.

Its nothing to do with keeping our powder dry, if a Rangers player goes over to Spain, comes back and puts people at risk of catching C.V. contrary to all the rules and perhaps laws then we have to take the consequences like they should have to and on this occasion the consequence should be the forfeiting of the point they won at Killy because they played a player who should not have been available for selection, remember warsaw? The aberdeen players were stupid and have had 3 games postponed, boli was perhaps criminal and definitely in breach of the rules and they have a 2 match postponement. Its nothing to do with rivalry, if we break the rules we should get punished, if any other team break the rules they should get punished it is that simple and for what its worth the two cases should not be talked about in the same breath, players not distancing and a player going to Spain are two entirely separate things.

For me what matters is when those postponed games are played and if they are still played in an empty stadium. The closer those games are played to other games the better for us as hopefully they will be tired and maybe a few injuries. I think the current Celtic squad is seasoned enough to handle a couple of games in hand mentally by the time they come around, just hope physically is a different story and having no fans to help them on also.
Anyway 3 points tonight and I'll go for 3-0 again!

It’s a strange one for me with us having 2 CDMs in our 11, only takes an injury and suspension etc for him to be required. But gaffer would probably rather Davis, arfield being put into those slots if needed although both wrong side of 30.

St Johnstone have a couple of decent loan signings from Millwall who came up the road with the new manager. Although our record in recent seasons in this fixture is poor expect a win tonight. Morelos to start although Roofe and Ltte both fit and available and look forward to seeing them.

This whole season is going to be a weird weird one. Seems its no punishment for breaking rules. just delayed games. didn't spfl say they had no room to fit anymore games in? But we now have 4 games to fit in we all know this won't be the last of it.
Unfortunately some people will contract this even while following the rules.
So that surely had to be in a risk assessment. let's be honest if it was one of our players we would be going mental and demanding he be released from the club no matter if it was Jack, Morelos or another. We wouldn't be happy about losing the points but that should be the rules.
If you can't field a team you lose the game. It seems a fairly simple punishment, player/ club fine and points lost. How is it fair on any club who has followed the rules has a team fit to play, but the opposition can't field a team be allowed to delay a game.
spfl seems to enjoy being a laughing stock and are now just trying to get a bigger audience to laugh at them.

Fintytint I agree with what you say 100%. The case of Bolingoli is a strange one though. Yes he broke rules by not quarantining when he came back but he then had 2 negative tests in the following week before he played on the Sunday. Technically Celtic could field a team because he hasn't actually contracted C.V. or infected anyone else. There is no rule that says everyone you have come into contact with after you have broken quarantine rules should then self isolate therefore meaning Celtic couldn't field a team.
Another wee bit to add to this Bolingoli scenario. At clubs like Celtic and Rangers the player liason officer normally has all the players passports. If players choose to travel on their personal time they need to get the passport from the liason officer. If this is the case then Celtic were aware that he planned to leave the country. My suspicion is that it was for transfer talks and Celtic were aware of this but are now getting Bolingoli to take the bullet because he knows he's away anyway.

MOCBear, time will tell if certain individuals knew Bolingoli was in Spain for possible transfer discussions. Remember, Alfredo and/ or his agent had allegedly agreed terms with Lille which, we would assume, was done with Rangers’ knowledge. Now, for all we know, Neil Lennon might have been kept in the dark about Bolingoli but Celtic’s DOF and other ‘seniors’ might have given permission for such a meeting and not told Lennon until it was too late. The fact they’re dealing with this internally speaks volumes and I wouldn’t be surprised if they part company with a pay-off and a Confidentiality Agreement in place. If they’ve nothing to hide they’ll publicly slaughter Bolingoli and tear up his contract for gross misconduct.

I personally wouldn't like us to sell any of our squad players if that is possible but no one knows our financial situation. Gerrard stated yesterday he is very happy with the squad and would like to add one more midfielder. So with regards to the interest in kamara why take the risk in selling him just now as he is developing into a good steady player who only cost us £50 000. i'm very hopefull that our new deal with castore and that we also now have control of the megastore will generate us massive sums of money that we have sorely missed in past years. So let's keep up the good work on and off the pitch and bring our great club back up to where we belong on the world stage and start getting that trophy cabinet back in use.

Yately 01 Castore have obviously underestimated just how loyal and generous our great fans are. Yeah John they are returning my cash to my visa. The point was I got an email on the Friday night saying my tops were coming and after a week I thought maybe it had been stolen in the post etc? Then after contacting them they said I could stay on a waiting list or have my money returned. Just disappointed bud and my 11 year old is gutted✌️🇬🇧.

Having the chance to go 11 points clear is fantastic but (and I include us in this) those points should not be on offer to win back in the future for the club who wasn't able to fulfill their fixture/ s.
I feel in this instance it's as simple as that, should a team not be able to fulfill their fixtures then the points are awarded to the other team who are credited with a 3-0 win.
That is a rule that is in place now and C.V. shouldn't make it null and void. It is the club who signed up to the league rules' obligation to play their ties, end of.

I would guess at the moment that the rule is if a team fields an ineligible player they mean made ineligible by the SPFL or UEFA.
Otherwise Douglas Park would have our lawyers onto this in a flash.

There has to be a deterrent and some sort of advantage to the teams who are able to fulfill their fixtures.
These teams now have the chance to win these points back and to have a stronger squad whilst doing so. Doesn't seem fair.
Also as someone eluded to, if the rules were followed regarding C. V. then Boli would've had to isolate upon return from his jollies. Therefore, intelligible to play and so surely that carries its own tariff?
As I said previously, it's being made up as it goes along because it's unprecedented.
However, surely some things can be looked at and some kind of logic applied to them, like those mentioned here.
There are rules already in place if you field intelligible players and for not fulfilling your fixtures, just apply those to these situations.

As an earlier poster mentioned re how many players accross all clubs out there who've also had small indiscretions and their arsenal are gripping cloth hoping they don't come out in the open well i hope our plates take heed from the circus that's surrounding them and the sheep over what's gone on and make sure that all our players stuck to the rules and do things the correct way at present until things get back to normal.
And on the subject as well any player that steps out of line should be fined 100% of his wages while he's out quarantined for a start and should also face other.

I've just read in the "In the papers" section on Sky Sports News that the EPL plan on awarding a 20-0 victory to the opposing team if a team can't play due to C.V. rule violations. Imagine being that one player that caused your team to get a 20-0 loss against them. There would be no coming back from that.

Your correct i'm afraid this won't be the last case as you can see everywhere in pubs you see youngsters not bothering with social distancing so how are the young footballers going to be different and by youngsters i'm including over 30 year olds.
