The sending off has clouded over the fact they were getting loads of space down our right side and scored by exploiting that weakness before the sending off. It was happening for about 10 minutes before the goal and nothing was done about it. Tav has to take more responsibility as a defender and stop boming forward at every opportunity.
BTW has anyone seen a decent replay of the sending off? We are in the Govan and from our angle it looked like Jack stuck the head on him.

From where I was in the club deck looked like heads touched but nothing much I did see a clip that stokes had his hand around Ryan Jack's throat!

Sad to see us lose today, I have no doubt we would have seen them off with 11 men. Not often I'll blame the ref, honestly, but he was a farse today.

None the less, it was pleasing to see players fight together as a team. Look at Cordoso when Tav and Stokes are going at it. Every man is behind one another, there's togetherness and we really look like a proper team.

Billy blue you talk nonsense, we are only starting our second season back in the top flight, EPL champs beaten at home today by Burnley because of a sending off.
There was every reason to feel we could have won that game today if Ryan jack had stayed on the park, miller hits the post Hibs run up the park and equalise . if you cannot support the team find another sport .

I for one take positives from today like the team showed grit fight and where fighting for each other. After Jack got sent off Morelos went after mcgeoch because his part in the sending off this shows a unified team and shows there's not the divide that has had been spoke of.

The sending of killed us Jack was bossing that area of the park breaking up a lot of plays and even getting forward on occasions.

If I'm to be critical of Ped he should have brought on Rossiter to do Jacks job.

we were superb on Wednesday night so there are signs of a decent team but I fear our man has no tactics that can change and win a game he must be replaced before its too late. I will stick by this post and you can all come on and lambaste me when we beat them and are sitting pretty but I doubt that will happen.

jyf nice to see your opinion. Your first 2 points we played with a championship team against the (unbeaten) league leaders. Yes the European tie was a disaster. Our first home league game we played with 10 men for about 55 mins. The players should grit by not folding. We beat a championship side by giving a professional display. I would have brought Rossiter on at the expence of Miller and played 4-4-1. You are not being lambasted by way of this post. just saying why I disagree with your criticism.

Ref did have a stinker today . He could have easily sent off stokes earlier but didn't . Our fullbacks and goalkeeper are bang average. Sell them . Why didn't the manager change the formation and bring on a sub when we went down to 10 men?

from what I see, Pedro's on field tactics are mince and his track record suggests he just got lucky a couple of times in previous jobs. The players look like they lack courage, character and determination and just expect things to work out. We are strating to see player like Alves, Jack, Dorans beginning already to look very ordinary, and THEY are not to blame because they ARE good players. Also, Too many language problems which affects communication between players. On top of all that I think there must be a lot of players living in hotel rooms instead of having proper fmily lives, a bit like what was happening during Warbs time. All in all I don't really think its a happy squad, and King may have decisions to make sooner rather than later. Early daysI admit, but NOT too impressive.

Ritchie, that is the biggest load of dross I've have ever heard on here. The team is leaps and bounds ahead of what it was last season. You're looking far too much into it and looking to blame Pedro when it was the refs fault we lost today. The team showed grit and dig in the first half hour, which is something we haven't had in a long time. If that was last season and we went down to ten men we would've got humped 5-1

He has spent a lot of cash on midfielders and forwards but has missed the obvious, we have a rotten keeper and two almost rotten full backs. He has a couple of weeks before the window closes, i wonder what he has in mind?

I have to disagree, that was the most fight i have seen for a good few years in our team. The ref was a disgrace, how stokes was still on the park i will never know. But i agree Pedro should have changed it at two one. Miller is not a midfielder and can't track runs. To be honest we still jad the fight to pull one back. Not long ago that could have been four or five.

What do you base that comment on that the team is leaps and bounds ahead of last season. We have lost to a part time team from Luxembourg, lost and won a game in league and beat a very average Championship side in the cup. How after only 5 games with 2 defeats have we come on leaps and bounds since last season?

There's opinions and then there's common sense. Today's defeat was nothing like the European game. The game in Luxembourg was completely the players fault and everyone would agree. Today's wasn't the players fault, it was the refs so I don't think fans should be jumping the gun and saying Pedro needs to be sacked or the team is terrible.

Any1 who thinks our current squad is on a par with last seasons mess needs their head looked at! Our team has far moreaching to it this year so let's all get behind the team and move on! The sending off killed us and it shows what a vital role jack has in holding the spine of the team together

The team is better, you can't argue with that. The main reason I am meaning they are better is that they've shown more fight in the last few games than a Warburton team did for the whole season. Team knew they could bully us and it meant they would probably beat us. Motherwell tried it and we showed we could take it and fight back. Hibs tried it from the start today and we gave them even better and they didn't know how to deal with us until you get an idiot of a ref that clearly doesn't like us

Wasn't at the game or seen anything so I can't pass comment on red card etc but these are the games we not only want to win but need to win them so we can mount a credible challenge this season, wether folk see that as first of second place. Our biggest problem as rangers fans is patience, we don't have any. We expect to hit the ground running and demolish teams especially at ibrox. Defence wa sour biggest concern from last season and if we lost three goals at home today it is still our biggest concern.

I don't buy into this Rangers fans lack patience tag. Thrown into effectively division 4, a Championship year failure and a premier league return last season not exactly covered in glory. As a fan base used to winning I agree it's tough going and I understand the fans' frustration and anger at times like this. If anything our patience has been tested to the limit and we've passed the test.

I am starting to get frustrated at people saying defense was and still is our biggest problem. It our lack of goal that cost us last season, look at the flipping statistics. We are always going to concede goals every team does but to win a game you just have to score more than the opposition. Last season because we only scored 1 or 2 goals per game if lucky then there would be a good chance of a late draw or loosing in the second half. This year we need to up the anti and score a minimum of 2 goals per game to reduce that probability of late draw. If we keep scoring the result will come. IMO we are not at full strength yet. 2 more to come. All league wining teams always manage to score no matter what, that's where we failed last year and this year we have so far scored - trust the stats and the results will come. Celtics wave of dominance will break soon as I've said before all teams look better and once Celtic get beat once then after that more defeats will follow at a more natural losing rate. It will happen, I guarantee it. Trust the maths man.

Tjbb. It's all about opinions and as I said I wasn't there today but to lose three at home says to me there are still defensive issues. I'll support pedro and the team till the end but we keep going on about signing walker mclean Naismith etc but if we make ourselves hard to score against I'll take 1-0 victories all day long.

I respect your analysis but it doesn't hold up to scrutiny. With a good knowledge of maths and probability then I must try and give positively to the support. If you show me a team that's won on average 1-0 and won the title then I will eat my words. As a scientist I understand probability, you can't beat probability unless you have messi in the team.

That red card killed the game for us in my opinion and I can't believe that they finished the game with a full team!

Move on to the next game, they will drop down and we will finish the season in second. Get behind the team. The media slate them enough without us adding to it.

Bring it on. This type of result against us will only make the team stronger. Never seen a ref that bad in all my life, Hibs had 12 players today. 11 v 11 we were and are better. Just watched Pedros post match interview and you can sense the total rage bubbling just below the surface. Beaton was show the footage after the game and we will appeal the red card and if I was him would be asking for retrospective action against Stokes when he could have done some damage to Tavs neck. i'm not disappointed, i'm f*&%*ing angry. i'm sure I only feel 1% of what the team and manager feel so there will be a reaction to this. To the rest of the SLP and haters out there 'your going to need a bigger boat'

i really think that people need to get a grip or maybe change the sport that they watch. if you have played football at any level going down to ten men when your up against a team that's full of comfidence is always going to be uphill struggle. even with ten men we could have nicked a point. look at the chelsea score 3 nil down at one point spent prob about 300 million on that team. i will bet that their fans aren't calling for the managers head. maybe their fans just understand that some games just go against u . judge the team when its 11 vs 11
