13 Apr 2019 06:02:27
What now? .

13 Apr 2019 15:15:26
Don't no was pissed when a wrote that last nite lol😨😨.

12 Apr 2019 19:22:14
Keep reading about Waldo's shambolic treatment, and I do like Waldo but to be fair he's being paid thousands of pounds every month that I could only dream about the big fellow is set for life I'd say. Gerrard said the situation is although waldo is being a great professional and training hard there is better options ahead of him (Gerrard's words/ opinion) . i trust Gerrard on this matter and anyone who has watched Lee in any the reserve fixtures that Lee has played in will have the same opinion the big fellow is a yard off the pace, injuries taken toll I presume. That said I'd like Lee to be part of last home game this season for a farewell.

Great to see the comments from Young-Coombes re the quality of our academy system. We are all aware of a few of the names of young players who are getting closer to appearing. I've been guilty of wanting everything to be fixed at once but the future is looking better. Commercial opportunities, stronger academy, better management team and a better team than a year ago. A few quality additions, more consistency and maybe another European group stage and we won't be far away. Got to keep focused only on ourselves and the good times will eventually return. I want to read this page and see everyone buzzing being a Rangers fan again. Not that we ever stopped.

I4Me - too true. Rome wiznae built in a day and neither is Ibrox or the team. Too many posters come on here expecting the likes of Messi or Ronaldo to turn up, but the reality is that we are dealing with the lower decks of the English divisions - League 1 and 2, and sometimes even losing out.

The corner might not have been turned completely but we are looking round it. SG is going in the right direction and we should all be the happier for it.

12 Apr 2019 13:54:54
Just like to say Rangers biggest failure this season is the way Lee Wallace has been treated sad.

12 Apr 2019 14:17:17
Wallace has been treated disgustingly, stuck by the club when we needed him to and now he needs us as fans to show appreciation for helping get us back where we belong, someone should come up with a song for him that the fans can sing even if he’s no playing just to show how grateful we are for him leading us back where we belong.

12 Apr 2019 14:17:46
NNC, 100% agree. This next window is key to see who we can shift and bring in. We should only bring in better than we have so we keep moving forwards.

RedGerr, without knowing what happened, I agree it’s a shame how he will bow out. Hope he gets a decent new club and does well wherever he goes, with the best wishes of the fans. I wouldn’t like to see him get sympathy games though. Sure there will have been faults on both sides so time for all to move on. A big wage which can be partly or fully reinvested.

12 Apr 2019 16:45:34
I4Me - totally agree and I hope that SG reads the papers and has a chuckle at who they linking us with. I have to see them link us with a player who is any better than what we have. After all we are looking to improve not stay the same.

Would like them to bring in Shankland IMO he is definitely worth a punt, and bring back those players who have shone and come on. We need good players and good back-up players.

IMO Morelos will stay another year, clean his act up and improve on a very successful year, in which they will all be clamouring for his signature.

12 Apr 2019 16:56:34
Jeez you lot and your lee Wallace love in!

Do you honestly think the club have an agenda against him? For absolutely no reason? Gerrard also?

We don’t know the facts but the ones I do know are he’s not good enough for the first team. He gets great money. He was never captain material.

I wish him well but I’ll be glad he’s gone.

12 Apr 2019 17:06:19
Don’t think I’ve said there’s a love in. Depending on how long you’ve been a supporter, you’ll agree there used to be a “Rangers” way of doing things. So we should see him off with respect. I respect him for staying however he also wouldn’t have got the wages he’s on anywhere else. He’s not what we need but I’m not suggesting anything other than an amicable departure and recognition for a guy who should always be welcome at Ibrox in the future.

12 Apr 2019 17:21:55
Great post Cato, sums up things perfectly. Let's Go.

12 Apr 2019 17:34:08
No one appears to know what Wallace and Miller did but Wallace stayed on at the club earning big money. People go on about how faithful he is but he earned more at Rangers than he would have at any other club in Scotland. When he knew he wasn't wanted why didn't he push fora move. MONEY
On another subject Why wasn't Scott Brown cited for the stamp on the Saint Mirren player.

12 Apr 2019 19:11:22
Wallace IF 2nd place is secured and its a nothing game should CAPTAIN Rangers at Ibrox for the final time. He should also get a guard of honour onto the pitch by our current first team and be given a heroes send of. He’s not ahead of either option we use at LB and wouldn’t get enough time to get up to speed to make an impact. Thanks for the memories Lee and all the best.

12 Apr 2019 21:53:56
Lee Wallace has been an average player since day 1 imo
He only stayed because he was getting a great wage and would never have got the same amount anywhere else.
Ok going forward but a very poor defender.

13 Apr 2019 00:44:10
Gannet10. Your statement is Spot On.

13 Apr 2019 09:53:48
Can’t believe fuss being made over Wallace!

12 Apr 2019 09:32:15
What's your thoughts on Ryan Kent signing guys.
For me Kent is a very good player, however it will take a huge chuck of next seasons transfer budget to secure his services, even on a loan, as I'm guessing that liverpool will be wanting a larger chunk of his wages paid to secure his services.
For me I would say no to keeping him his stats are played 39 scored 6 and provided 9 assits.

Now compare that to Jamie Murphy and Middleton. Murphy prior to his injury played 24 scored 5 and provided 9 assits and Glen has played 28 scored 5 and provided 5 assits.
We also have jordon Jones to come in.
I feel that the money should be spent on, getting another quality centre back, a goal scoring centre mid, right winger and a striker.

We currently have plenty of cover for all other positions.
At the end of the season I fully expect coulibally, Kent, dodoo, howson, holt, alnwick, Wallace, dorrans, Herrera to leave and mc mcauley will retire. I also think big lafferty will go. This will free up some amount of wages so there is no reason that we shouldn't be able to replace all of these players with 4 quality signing and poss a couple of loans.

Your thoughts guys.

12 Apr 2019 11:43:27
Middleton will turn out ti be anither gregg wylde. Imo i think tav and morelos will also be away in the summer, can see grezda and barasic moving back to croatia.

12 Apr 2019 14:17:36
Paul - try and be positive mate - it's Friday!

12 Apr 2019 14:21:30
Paul Barisic and Grezda won’t be going anywhere 100% why spend all that money on two players just to ship them off the next summer, both players will come good, not every player can come in and be an instant starter every game, plus their fitness wasn’t the best when they came in, with a full preseason behind them they’ll make every other player in the league in their positions look like 🐶 💩.

12 Apr 2019 15:18:37
, what about the Mexicans? Would you have applied the same theory to them?

12 Apr 2019 17:13:53
Naw cause u could tell watching them that they were 🐶 💩 ridiculous to compare the two sets of circumstances but I’ll give it a bash anyway, we know there’s a player in Barisic we saw it against us for Osijek, and Grezda was injured when he came in and is supposedly one of Albania’s best players, both are of a decent age and have decent sell on value in a few years when they’ve proved themselves, whereas the Mexicans were older, had no sell on value, had to prove themselves straight away because of age and had to deal with Pedro talking them up saying they would be the difference. What’s the point in buying players for big money to sell them a year later when they’ve no really had a fair crack in Grezda case, if were trying to build a team to win anything we can’t constantly shout to get rid of players cause they’ve maybe no been as good as expected, if we did we’d be back in this exact same position every year from now on, let them settle and we’ll see the best of them next season.

12 Apr 2019 18:27:41
We are, there is a player in barisic he plays for Croatia, World Cup finalists.

12 Apr 2019 19:21:47
Agree lads i rate barasic. Far techically better than halliday. But u can see gerrards patience wearing thin as he appears to be made of chocolate. Grezda i don't think appears to be in plans squad player at best it looks like. Really lookimg forward to end of season so we can build further. Sorry for the friday negativity haha.

12 Apr 2019 19:24:39
But yeah i still think we will lose tav and morelos. Would love tav to stay and push further up the park. Cause a defender he aint. Could be best thing he's ever done. Loom how it worked out for Ricksen. I remember him having some horror shows at right back. Moving to midfield transformed the guy into far better player. So much so he picked up player of the year.

12 Apr 2019 19:58:49
Its whether or not barasic's heart is in it, You don't play for croatia if you don't have the quality. As for grezda I don't think he has it at all, apart from two goals at ibrox against a 10 man motherwell he hasn't showed any glimpse of quality. Maybe next season we will see a difference👍.

12 Apr 2019 23:52:21
Are you OK Coldo? Your post is almost positive. I think we will see a lot of deadwood at the end of the season, maybe as many as 10, we will see. I honestly Believe, with 3 or 4 real quality signings, we will be in a great place next season.

13 Apr 2019 09:53:15
Bluepete, whether my posts are negative or positive they are always honest. I never sugar coat it or form an opinion through the tint of blue specs. I don't have rangers wall paper in my bedroom either or play the tim card when I don't agree with an opinion or when I can't win a debate. 👍.

13 Apr 2019 10:03:42
Sorry lads barasic and grezda are too chickenrubbish don't like physical side of British football need gone back to europe.

13 Apr 2019 11:53:59
WeAreTheFkinPeople,

See my post on the other posts site, cheers.

13 Apr 2019 12:27:09
He’s average in a poor league and the stats show that.

13 Apr 2019 13:53:02
Did you think the same about pena and Herrera?

13 Apr 2019 14:20:59
6 counties personally think barisic is way forward and class act. Grezda still unproven. Wouldn't Slag off either yet.

12 Apr 2019 06:34:31
Just a wee word on the massive difference between scotland's clubs and england clubs,
when it comes to negotiating new kit manufacturing deals. To put it in perspective,
rangers get £10million from hummel, as our kit makers, over a 3 year deal, which obviously equates to £3.33million a season. Just read an article online last night, that liverpool are in advanced negotiations with nike, to replace new balance as their new kit makers, after next season. Its seemingly going to be the biggest ever kit deal in british football history.

Nike are offering liverpool an incredible £800million over 10 years, which is a staggering £80million a season! They currently get £45million a season, with new balance. that's an incredible £35million a season that nike are offering, to become liverpool's new kit manufacturers. that's unbelievable!

12 Apr 2019 12:53:28
It's paupers and privileged, the rich get richer and poor get poorer. The disparity in world football is shocking.

12 Apr 2019 13:31:23
It's the same here in Scotland - only two teams bought any players this season -- Rangers and celtic -- the rest relied on loans or free transfers.

12 Apr 2019 13:39:41
It's the way of the world in general BizzmyBrox.

12 Apr 2019 15:19:31
Not now Cato, other teams did pay fees last summer, just not as big as the old firm.

12 Apr 2019 16:16:01
Us Scots r help payin these fees for English clubs for sky TV were mugs.

13 Apr 2019 12:28:48
That’s how every other Scottish clubs feels about Rangers and that mob. It is what it is. It won’t change. We can’t effect it so why greet about it.
