Players like Alex Neil are worth there weight in gold.I am all for the kids coming through.But I do not see any holding players.Ness and Hutton can play good football.If anything there play makers.As I say we can't afford to be snobs.Who cares were we get our players?As long as they can do the job.And his would be as cover for McCulloch.The team is crying out for a holding midfield player.Celtic boss us in midfield.As they have Brown, Ledley, Kayal.Who all have a bit of dig in them.And that is what we have been missing.You need spares for every area.And that way you can go for the treble.And I have not saw a Rangers team in years.Who I would back to do that.The squads been thread bare for so long now.When we can't even come up with enough subs.You know we are in trouble.Or maybe Smith is sending a message to up stairs?It does not look good, what ever way.

We need a good holding midfielder.Eric Addo is out of contract at Roda in Holland.And is a current Ghana international player.Maybe we should scout him.He might be better than Alex Neil.I would be happy with Neil though.To be part of the squad.And come in and play when needed.He is a solid enough for the SPL.When he is not suffering with injury problems.
Why would you be happy with a player that's just good enough and has injury problems? Get a grip of yourself man we are Rangers. . With or without the takeover there's no place at ibrox for a player of that quality! The youth players that are now coming out of Murray park should be given their chance to pull on the blue jersey. why even consider
such a signing!

Ed, its obviously a hypothetical question so i guess you never know until your in that situation but i genuinely don't think i could. Like i say if i was good enough im sure i would have other options to make money.

Take the point about Maguire, if hes offered the chance to sign for Rangers i imagine he would jump at it, however he would have plenty of bridges to build with Rangers support after his various digs against us over the years so not sure it would happen. As for being a Rangers fan and playing for Celtic, i think it takes a certain person to be able to do that and i make no apoligies in saying i could not. I would like to think that if i was good enough to interest Celtic and had a good enough agent then i would be able to attract other big clubs including my beloved Rangers. I don't hold anything against Bears who would or have played for Celtic but i just don't think i could do it!

The Mexican international Naza Rodridguez is out of contract in the summer.He is 26 and 6.3 and been capped 53 times for his country.Be good if he came to Glasgow.We could also try and get his country man in Carlos Vela at Arsenal who is loaned to WBA but is out of favour.Get him for free to, cos he is only 22.We need a left winger.You never know he could be the answer to our problems there.And earn a move back to the EPL?Europe is a great shop window for players.

i think if rangers get offered 5 mill + for mcgregor we should take it i love the guy and he has won us games on this own but alexander is also a great goalkeeper who has never put a ff he foot wrong with rangers and also been very patient
with bougherra if he goes i just want to wish him all the best has been a brilliant signing and deserves a new challenge , now papac if rangers could get 1 million for him i would be happy im constantly arguing with my mates over this i think papac is very overrated i think there is about 8 left backs in the league better than him i just think he is crazy when he has the ball , looking at the celtic left back iasaguirre or however u spell it that is what you want in the left back he is up and down that wing all game we need a left back like that like numan he was great at it.
i would love to see alan smith in a rangers jersey i am a big fan and i don't even think he is playing much this season so i would enquire about him , as much as i would love it i cannot see lovenkrands or cuellar coming back north of the border , and as for gattuso it jus seems unreal i could never see him coming to rangers for £20k a week i hope im wrong tho
think rangers should try a wee loan deal for barry bannan , and that young snodgrass 2 young very good players and i think there managers would love to see them playing champ league football ,

There is two really good players at Werder Bremen that are out of contract.Panasen the big Finnish international defender can play Centre back left back or right back.And Boenisch the Polish left back, who just broke into there national team.He is 24 and young enough to sell on.The Nuremberg captain Wolf is out of contract to, he can play left back or centre back.Fathi on loan from Spartak Moscow at Mainz might be worth and look at to, can play left back or centre half is 6.1 and 27.The Hungary international Lowe is out of contract there to.Been capped lots of times for them.

Why is everyone battering on about papac leaving? he wants to stay he wants a two year deal but rangers only offerd a one year deal and he said he was happy with that offer due to the circumstances at the club at the present moment. and that if the club was took over he would like to get something sorted out more long term. so that should be that one put to bed he aint leaveing he loves life in glasgow and loves playing for rangers end of story.

Actually Pander is another player out of contract and on a bosman.Along with giant Cameroon international left back Atouba.Emanuelson the Dutch international left back and left winger.Boral the Turkish international left back.And Taiwo the Nigernian international left back.Who should be going to a EPL club.Like the Swedish international left back Wendt who has Liverpool after him.There all on bosman deals.Just like Bradley Johnston at Leeds.I am sure if we can afford there wages.Brown and Murray will watch them.Convincing them to come and play in the SPL will be another story.But the champions league is always a good carrot to dangle in front of them

Belgium international Oliver Deschach the captain of Genk.Is on the last 6 months of his contract and would be free in the summer.He is a left sided defender and is 6 feet 1.Could be worth watching to see if he fits the bill.He has played with them for his whole life.And is 30 and might want a new challenge.And we could get him for nothing.And use what ever money we have if any.On wages if we can attract any other top end bosmans to the club.Who wants loans at the club?We need guys we can sell on.And get money for if there good enough.And they should show more commitment to the team.If they actually belong to us.

Giant Greek centre back Vagelis Moras is out of contract at Bolonga.He is a Greek international, and is 6 feet 5.And is only 29, so has some good years ahead of him.Maybe we should watch him.And offer him a deal.Could be the perfect replacement.For the defenders who are leaving in the summer.And a bargin when we might not have a lot of money to spend in the summer.If the take over does not happen?
