My fellow Bears. I was was hunting about reading about the CHAMPIONS and found this. Look at the Arsenal owners, this could be our way into the Premier league with the rest of the BIG clubs en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_English_football_club_owners

So we own a part of Arsenal? If so then why not sell the share?

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't get it how can rangers own 2 percent of arsenal

Agree0 Disagree0

So did whyte buy shares for arsenal

Agree0 Disagree0

Arsenal were close to going out of business way back when Herbert Chapman was the manager, him and Mr Struth were friendly so Rangers gave them a loan of £35,000 to keep them going. They gave us a share in the club as a thank-you gesture.

We used to play every year in a friendly too... one year at Ibrox the next at Highbury

Mark WATP

Agree5 Disagree0

It is 0.2% of Arsenal not 2% that is owned by Rangers and has a value of approx £1.5m

Unlucky tonight Scotland, thought that McGregor did well in goals and prevented the score from worsening and Naismith played decent and no injures from the Internation games great new for the champions. Onwards & Upwards!

WATP

Believable3 Unbelievable3

Did ok but we need to learn to hold the ball and pass it intelligently (including our keepers ) and we also need to learn to cheat professionally ( dive and roll about ) or we will remain in the third world of soccer countries.

Agree0 Disagree3

Unlucky......f f s man, i'm gonna pee maself

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't mean Scotland were unlucky with the result against Spain, they were outclassed, I just mean heads up because of the improvement in the side! Glasgow Rangers champions ohohoh.

Agree1 Disagree0

Is that the same keeper that lost the 1st goal

Ed or anyone else, would you know how much mackail-smith would cost? looks an awryt player tbh, a real pressence in the air {Ed001's Note - he signed for Brighton in the summer, I really don't see there being any chance of him moving before the summer.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Brighton paid 3m for him. No chance he will sign for us.

Agree1 Disagree0

Couldn't afford his wages, never mind a fee.

If big Laff or Jelly get injured we really need to show some confidence in our youngsters and GIVE them the chance they deserve

Agree1 Disagree0

The gaffer said "there's never time a better time to be a youngster at Ibrox."
I say there there has never been a better time to look to the youngsters for cover. We are starting to see good young players comming through. Ness, Wylde, McMillan, Hutton, Perry, Cole and Hemmings.
I say, let's not sign anyone in January and if we loose a first team regular we should promote the young players.

Ed, in the event of Rangers having no case to answer on the Tax case, could they then sue the goverment for damages? The Reason I ask is this article

business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/law/article2737778.ece

Seems interesting if nothing else. {Ed001's Note - I don't know mate, HMRC are a special case to be honest.}

Believable3 Unbelievable2

Wrong.....HMRC are not a special case anymore, they don't even get preference for outstanding debt anymore, they join the list of creditors the same as anyone else

A question to all fellow bears and the Celtic fans. Who was the first team to ever get accused of playing anti football? Take a look at this link below for the answer lol.

sport.scotsman.com/football/ONeill-blast-for-Rijkaard-over.2583564.jp

Stick that in your pipe and smoke it Celtic fans. It was Yous that spoiled our great game with those tactics.

Believable8 Unbelievable1

Ed, I posted that post on Sunday the 9th October . How has it took 2 days?
BBEAR {Ed001's Note - I have no idea, we have been having server problems, it must have got lost somewhere on the server during them. Weird one that.}

anyone agree with me Bocanegra looks excellent captain material to pick up where big Davie leaves off ?

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Boca doesn't need an armband... he's a natural leader. Wee Davo is doing a fine job as captain leading by example.

Steven Davis - Rangers Captain. Sounds good to me.

Mark WATP

Agree11 Disagree1

Here here!

Agree3 Disagree0

If we did need another captain, which we don't..only one man...big goian! J1985

Agree5 Disagree3

I would have naismith as captain

Agree2 Disagree0

Davis will be a great captain but if there was somebody else i had to pick it would be mcgregor

Although we are running away with the league this now lets not get to carried away. It is still only October and the wee ginger gaffer with the funny accent looked like he was on to a loser in many an older firm game as a player before digging out a result with this midfield prowess. So, let’s not count any chickens just yet as Stuart McCall’s Motherwell could still catch us.

WATP – WE WELCOME THE CHASE

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Last time I checked it was only October & the league finishes in may, the transfer window is open for a month & rangers have a pending tax bil next monthl ?

And you welcome the chase ? Fare do's 10 points clear & out of 3 cups by September, hardly world breakers? Plus Celtic have a game in hand plus 2 OF games at parkhead ?

If it's still 10 clear & Celtic play the game in hand by feb then aye fare enough welcome the chase then, as it's only OCTOBER! a wouldn't be counting your chickens b4 they hatch....

Lenny

Agree2 Disagree10

I think we can... you're utter mince son

Agree8 Disagree1

Confident about 2 OF games at parkhead this season ? U need to be in the top six for this to happen lol

Agree8 Disagree1

As said, it's only October, hopfully the rangers loyal keyboard typers are still around in November, jan & may to see if there still gloating then...

Lenny

Agree0 Disagree6

How bitter is that Lenny boy. So funny like, you keep focusing on our financial situation pal. You know u slipped into europe but i hope you can do Scotland a favour!

Agree2 Disagree0

We've been gloating for the last THREE seasons, where have you been?

Agree5 Disagree0

Lol rangers are in a hole, take the blue tints off:

Craig White takes 7 months to buy rangers.(there or there abouts)

When he does he takes on 29 million of debt, which gets payed back at 5 million a year over 5 years.

He 'claims' he will pump in 5 million a year for a transfer kitty, ? Where did that go ?

Rangers lost out on a number of signings due to daft bids of 100k etc. Offers one of rangers future star players John fleck a 700 quid deal a week take it or leave it deal.

Gives his tops players new deals, mc greggor etc, then 2 months later says he needs to cut the wage bill buy 10 million ?

Openly said if rangers lose the tax case they could go into admin, if there found guilty. As it stands it's 36 million plus 14 million intrest.

On top if that they have no money from Europe out of a Scottish cup & only have the league & one cup left to play for now.

As celtics books show they haven't won the league in 3 years but are in 500k of debt, showing that winning the league isn't as good money wise as Europe is. Not saying it's not important cause it is b4 everyone jumps on the band wagon.

So as u said take the blue glasses off, have a kick into the real world & see your club isn't all it's shaped up to be hence all that's stated above.

Hope ur all still on here next month for part one of three of the start of the end of the rangers loyal

Lenny

Agree2 Disagree3

Lenny you are obsessed with us ya dumpling and soooo sooo boring with it. You are like a stuck record mate yet nobody knows anything about the case yet.

Agree2 Disagree0

Only the league?? yeah doesn't really matter does in Lenny i guess that's the attitude of the whole Celtic squad. would explain why there dire and in third 3rd place in a supposed 2 horse race Giddy Up Lenny!

Agree2 Disagree0

First of all, who jump's straight in and does a business deal in a matter of days? Mr Whyte was buying the biggest Club in the country obviously he took his time... I'd be more worried if he didn't.

The debt you seem to know about... go ask Lloyds Banking Group if they got all their money back, they did. All £18m of it and not a penny less.

The £5m... we spent £5.7m this season, can you not count?

£700 a week, more fantasy figures... John Fleck is on £4,000 a week and the highest paid 19-year old in the SPL

See that league & cup that we've got left to play for... that's more than Celtic have won in the last 3 seasons

As for the books.... you keep the balance sheets, we'll keep the SPL trophy

Anymore drivel you want to spout??

Mark WATP

Agree5 Disagree0

Keep it up lads.

Boring ? A think like most rangers fans, there just trying to dummy it & hope for the best. As to know one knows? That's true yet? But honestly ur tellin me a 6 month case will come back clean ? Not a chance, ask anyone who's the worst person to meet & they will say the tax man, they leave nothing unturned.

Roll on next month

Lenny

Agree0 Disagree4

Lenny, stop stating something, then ending it in a ?
It just does not make sense.
FYI, the figure '?' means question mark. If you wish to ask questions, then please use '?' in its proper context.

Agree3 Disagree0

As you would have seen in the OP the stated that it's only October and not to get carried away. So stop trying to make out that we said the league is over. How sad are you? They have been posts over the last couple of weeks stating that they are a long way to go. Stop trying to put words into our mouths ya muppet. As for the tax case give it a rest ya moron you know nothing.
Come On You Boys In Blue.

Agree4 Disagree0

Celtic only 500k in debt, check your facts you have two companies, Celtic FC and Celtic PLC one is heavily in debt, books being fiddled me think.

Agree1 Disagree0

Correct me if am wrong, after rangers went 10 clear, there was posts satin aw let's look at 5 in a row, infact the league party will be the same as my night out? Remember them 'ya moron'?????

You're right I know nothing, but I have a bit of common sense when it comes it tax investagions etc, seen it happen to people on how far they go into it. So rather than rubber it & hope for the best bit of research & you will find out they properly won't get away scot free.

Main point in all of this is enjoy the gloating the now if Case comes back scot free a will happy take as much stick as you can throw at me & say I was wrong.... On the other hand if it comes back that they owe doh then it will be a told u so from the guy that knows 'nothing'

Will be interesting to say the least

Lenny

Agree3 Disagree2

Oh 2 games at park head . Shi##ing my self. That is a fortress and we will surely get pumped

Agree1 Disagree0

Hi lenny did you hear the economic forecast today on bbc1? yer bairns are going to be much worse off in 10 years time than they might have been in the depression in 1933 and if the eurozone currency fails and europe goes into recession they said it could be civil wars and worse a war in europe starvation and poverty for all and you are sitting bickering with a few rangers fans about a game of football! I ask you? I think you should wake up son or old man ,whatever you are...go and find your calling! it seems like the rest of us will have to as well.maybe they,ll open the parkhead soup kitchen again..

Agree0 Disagree0

I think that if St J's can win at you're piggery then anyone can............... go take a chill pill and wrap yer comfort blanket around ye and sit right next to the heater................ you will maybe feel a little less chilly towards the Scottish Champions and world club record holders, in who's shadow you have lived since 1888............. DOES THAT HURT THAT MUCH ? plainly and obviously, it does, NAE LUCK YA LOSER ! Keep chasing, yer a long, long way behind the true greats of football.............. GLASGOW RANGERS ! Rangers 'til I die, onward and upwards Bears
