Hi guys. Has any one listened to the high performance podcast on you tube. I've just listened to the Steven Gerrard on . Give it a listen. Absolutely brilliant . all he wants I for rangers to be a success.

11 Nov 2020 22:00:13
Player scored for Denmark tonight, his name was Bah, would be funny if he played for the sheep.

11 Nov 2020 23:52:23
Turned over to racing at kempton tonight brex, 0ne bet, tenner papa stour, 40/ 1, BOOM.

12 Nov 2020 00:47:25
Imagine the headlines after a Hatrick at pittodrie. Bah Stars in Aberdeen 😆.

12 Nov 2020 05:29:18
That's funny coi ☺. He reminds me of shearer.
Well done Tom, you could have shared that info, ☺.

12 Nov 2020 08:12:19
Tom, wish I'd known about that horse, named after an island in Shetland, great odds, nice one.

12 Nov 2020 08:13:31
I only just had a look at the race and jumped on my iPad, didn’t think it would be that big, I don’t think I will be posting any tips, after recent efforts, I do fancy Spancil Hill 3,35 clonmel, just for a price.

12 Nov 2020 08:32:21
It is indeed bizz, Andrea atzeni riding, won last time out and improving, 40/1, great wee bonus.

12 Nov 2020 14:11:24
And good trainer who's had his fair share of winners.

12 Nov 2020 15:44:31
Nice wee jump at the last Tom, well done did you get more than 8/ 1.
Give us a tip tomorrow.

11 Nov 2020 18:51:31
On the grealish debate wonder if he would be as good at another club villa fan all his days, would he have the same fight for someone else?, that said he's some player, jim white talks him up on talksport alot.
Also see Derek ferguson saying we need a experienced right back as cover for tav, i wonder if given the strength of the midfield ryan Jack could do the job if needed but young Patterson looks decent.

11 Nov 2020 19:42:06
Ryan jack can do a job at right back he’s played well in that position before. With the amount of strength Scotland have in midfield I’ve wondered if we could play jack at rb in a back 4.

12 Nov 2020 07:56:30
Good shout ingerrard 👍.

12 Nov 2020 08:44:43
Wondering how many months we can actually talk about someone who doesn't and probably never will play for Rangers, its been about 4 months now, another 3 probably some people seem to post the same thing just for the sake of posting, I for one couldn't care less about Wilshire and I definitely couldn't care less what a halfwit like mersin has to say either.

11 Nov 2020 18:31:52
Just after reading an article from sportcal,
that castore will become the new kit makers for newcastle utd and wolves from next season, taking over from puma and adidas respectively 🤔Castore will now have rangers, newcastle utd and wolves in their kit manufacturing stable.

11 Nov 2020 19:00:15
Well, according to Timlogic that must means the Fatman owns Wolves as well!

12 Nov 2020 08:32:57
sgl and kit makers recipe for disaster.

11 Nov 2020 17:41:26
On the subject of jack wilshere fellow bears he a few years back, was said to be the next paul gascoigne 🤔Was reading an article today by gazza's best pal paul merson, who stated how good jack grealish is and how he should be a constant pick for england. Merse also said today that southgate should be starting grealish for england as he's the nearest midfielder he's seen to paul gascoigne 🤔 What a compliment from merse although gazza easily better than both wilshere and grealish although both them are extremely talented midfielders, in their own right! So here's a wee question i'll throw out to all my fellow bears. IF rangers could sign either a fit wilshere playing at his best or a fit grealish playing to his best, which one would you prefer to sign? 🤔
Who is the best/ most talented attacking midfielder between the two? 🤔.

11 Nov 2020 17:57:19
Hi SGL. It would be Great isherwood for me. if both fit i'm assuming ages still same so Grealish easily wins there.
Other than that its close. Wlshere more talented but Grealish has more to his game, tenacity, leadership.
So Grealish for me.

11 Nov 2020 18:00:29
Give me Lewis Ferguson over both 🤣😂🤣.

11 Nov 2020 18:19:43
Jack grealish really reminds me of Gazza I’ve thought it all this season. I didn’t see the big deal about him at 1st but at times last year and this whole season he’s a class act. I do feel he needs to play in a midfield 3 to be more effective. I don’t like a player as influential as that papped out in the wide left position of a front 3 he’s a centre mid for me and the best centre mid England have. Can u imagine him and Henderson together that’s a great middle 2. Declan rice or Eric dier in behind. So coops, grealish awe day mate.

11 Nov 2020 18:21:53
Grealish is class.

11 Nov 2020 18:42:32
I tend to agree with you guys that jack grealish is a pure class act and should be playing all the time for england! I know grealish is villa through and through and is the captain of his boyhood idols, but i feel he'll eventually need to leave villa for an even bigger club, who will challenge for honours. I just can't understand why man utd have not yet bust the bank to sign grealish 🤔He'd be a cracking signing for any of the top clubs in the english premier league 👌He's a cracking attacking midfielder to watch!

11 Nov 2020 18:43:52
Pointless as it’s not going to happen why this two why not go between Ronaldo or messi?

Kane or lewandoski?

11 Nov 2020 18:44:52
😂😂😂😂 COI, superb mate 👏👏👏👏.

11 Nov 2020 19:16:40
I don't want any correspondence with you and you know who i'm talking about!

11 Nov 2020 19:49:29
😂😂😂.

11 Nov 2020 22:12:29
KJA no point in bringing Messi in we have Aribo!

12 Nov 2020 00:16:16
Defo grealish.

12 Nov 2020 01:15:39
KJ . ronaldo and lewandowski for me but kane can feel hard done by as he’s took his game to a while new level under Mourinho his link ups and assists his passing guy really is top notch 👌.

11 Nov 2020 15:01:16
Ref. J Wilshere--Our days of buying or bringing in Burnt out players should be over. They served a purpose back in the day but now instead of having former stars or injury prone ex-stars on the bench or treatment room is not the way forward. The way forward is finding players under the radar who have yet to blossom and have a sell-on Value That's why we have a scouting system--#55.

11 Nov 2020 15:59:18
Totally agree that we should be buying in players to develop, give their best for the club, and move on at the right time for the right price. Has worked well with Barasic, Kamara, Tavanier, Aribo, Morelos and Jack to name a good few.
We need to forget about the likes of Wilshere and that type of high risk signings as they are just too risky.
Maybe Zungu is the next wee find for us.

11 Nov 2020 17:33:14
Zungu looked good. Don't see any reason why we need Wilshire. We've got plenty of players. One day closer55.

11 Nov 2020 18:44:15
Agreed op.

11 Nov 2020 19:26:17
Of the young players that have signed in the past year Bassey for me who has come in and performed. We don't know about Zungu as yet.

11 Nov 2020 21:32:59
Agree, we don’t need Wiltshire, our middle has a good balance and good mix all round. Real hope for this season, and hope the International break doesn’t effect our momentum and current run.

12 Nov 2020 00:07:24
think that's actually what we are doing. 8.

12 Nov 2020 00:17:50
100% agree it's the way to go. Weve added a lot of value to our squad.

11 Nov 2020 11:28:38
Just reading about Jack Wilshere and how he wouldn't make a move to Spurs as of his Arsenal background. The facts are has anyone made a move for Jack and it looks like his career in the UK is over as he is to much of a gamble? Sad to see as he was a wonderful talent ✌️🇬🇧.

11 Nov 2020 12:00:45
Think he was like with the a league in Australia yesterday and he’s holding out for mls. Nobody seems interested it’s strange I think for another club, not rangers he could do a good job.

11 Nov 2020 12:18:50
Yately01,jack wilshere has turned down moves to an italian serie b club and an australian club mate. I totally agree pal, he's a very talented midfielder and would be a brilliant signing for us, if he was definitely over all his injury problems 👌.

11 Nov 2020 12:40:23
He could do the right falls 10 where Hagi plays.

11 Nov 2020 12:41:11
SGL, don't you think he comes across as a bit of a bighead who would disrupt a happy dressing room.

11 Nov 2020 12:51:38
Forget it guys,

Rangers news are saying Gers have no interest in him and have not been in contact.

11 Nov 2020 13:11:24
Wishere is a no no for me too much of a gamble and do we really need him? Who would he replace and no he couldn’t play in hagi position on the right.

11 Nov 2020 13:12:37
He wouldn't get a game anyway.

11 Nov 2020 14:30:03
I’m not really wanting him either he wouldn’t get in our midfield couldn’t do the running required but KJ why couldn’t he play in Hagi position mate?

11 Nov 2020 14:30:35
Wilshire is an injury prone Jordon Jones with talent. Not to be touched.

11 Nov 2020 15:04:24
IGWT because he is not a right forward in my opinion that’s why.

It’s not even hagi best position I don’t think we have a right forward that’s why I hope we get one in jan.

11 Nov 2020 17:16:38
We don't need Wilshire. We have aribo. Hadgi. And arfield who would be in the squad before him imo.

11 Nov 2020 17:38:14
Agree with u on both points mate hagi’s a 10 and wilshere either a 10 or left or right of a midfield 3. However I think he could do a job in that position. But like u I feel that’s the last position we need to sign a starting 11 class act.

11 Nov 2020 18:46:22
IGWT

I think roofe can play on the right but would love to have an Kent like player on the right and it can take the burden off him as well.

11 Nov 2020 19:51:53
Yip KJ I’d say our strongest front 3 atm will be Kent roofe and Alfie that looks like the way to go for me. Maybe the summer before we bring in a new right wide player.

11 Nov 2020 20:30:26
Agreed I am just being greedy but could be the final piece of the jigsaw we need for 55.

12 Nov 2020 00:21:06
I think itten can play right of the 3 also, don't think it's as big a priority as peoe think. We have roofe itten haji aribo arfield can all play there. I'd actually be tempted not to buy anybody at all in january. Think we have a great squad and wouldn't want to upset the balance 👍.

11 Nov 2020 10:29:31
Great to see Roofe get two goals on Sunday. Really chuffed we signed him. That goal against Standard Liege the best Rangers goal I've ever seen. Genius.

11 Nov 2020 11:09:54
He looked grumpy after both goals and couldn't manage a smile then I heard Gerrard saying Roofe was angry because he never played in the Benfica game.

11 Nov 2020 12:02:22
Marco negro never smiled either but if roofe scores half the goals he did well be happy lol.

11 Nov 2020 12:18:27
Always felt Negri never wanted to be at Rangers! His face tripped him from day one and he never smiled which told me he wasn’t happy. Now he perceives himself as a Gers Legend?

11 Nov 2020 12:31:14
I can remember he scored 5 goals in a game. Was it against Dundee utd.?

11 Nov 2020 12:42:54
I also remember Kenny Miller scoring 5 against St Mirren at Ibrox, I did like Negri as a player, he had everything.

11 Nov 2020 12:43:57
Aye 3cheers 5 against Dundee Utd 1 was a belter lobbing 1the defenders then finishing it he was a cracking striker what a shame how it turned out or we’d prob a win 10 in a row. 36 goals before Xmas is an unbelievable amount of goals really, it’s unheard of in my lifetime. Nobody can dispute that he was a pure class striker. Then it all went to pot lol if true . I blame Porrinis wife 😂😂.

11 Nov 2020 17:53:27
Thats was his 4th goal or 3rd goal top class it was.

12 Nov 2020 00:26:14
think Kenny scored 3 or 4 in a European game same time, aye negri did score 5 v utd, great day that,
Kfraser, I guess you havnt seen davie Cooper, drybrough Cup final the greatest you will ever see.

11 Nov 2020 09:59:13
Reading reports of benfica and sporting having been raised due to money laundering within the clubs? Maybe upset the team prior to us playing them again giving us an advantage.

{Ed001's Note - it dates from between 2011-14.}

11 Nov 2020 11:10:54
I didn’t realise that Ed. Thanks for the info. I’m not too confident of them coming to ibrox but no shame in dropping points to a team of that standard, was hoping of a slight advantage the news could have gave us.

{Ed001's Note - it can take a long time for these kind of financial crimes to come to light. There were 29 different locations raided in Portugal according to their attorney general, if I remember correctly from the review of the day I did. Benfica was just one of a number accused of money laundering etc from back then.}

11 Nov 2020 11:14:08
Don't want to gain advantage against players who are not involved wi any shennanigans Pennyarcade mate.

11 Nov 2020 09:00:10
Have you noticed how many ex players stick their oar in with their thoughts on players of other teams. To listen to them you would think they were gods gift to football. Most of them were mediocre at best. Remember it is much easier to TALK THE TALK than WALK THE WALK.

11 Nov 2020 08:56:42
Brilliant COI, you've got them rattled😂😂👍.

11 Nov 2020 11:49:13
It does take much mate. They are a very highly strung bunch these days. I have no idea why 🇬🇧🏆🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿.

Review Of The Day 11th November 2020

11 Nov 2020 07:39:04
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 11th November 2020

11 Nov 2020 07:00:28
Transfer window coming up soon if we could get rid of Hastie, Jones and Barker and bring in two proper quality wingers I think we would be nearly a complete team heading for the title 👍.

11 Nov 2020 07:24:51
I don’t think barker is going anywhere mate, he’s a regular.

11 Nov 2020 08:50:55
I think we need someone in the forward right position. It’s a great feeling just now lads. We have the makings of a great team here. We have some really good options at the moment 👌🏻.

11 Nov 2020 09:41:03
Yip i agree COI 👍I was hopeful of us signing bologna's danish right winger, andreas skov olsen 🙏He would solve our right hand side, what a terrific player he is 👌.

11 Nov 2020 10:00:21
Barker obviously must be impressing at training and he undoubtedly has talent. I just wish he was more consistent and showed us more of why we signed him in the first place. Little glimpses isn't good enough hence why he's frustrated the life out of us. He needs beefed up a bit and his hair sorted and some confidence and he might start to impress.

11 Nov 2020 10:18:08
Why get rid of Barker? Starting to contribute even it is from the bench. A good player, actually though he had a decent old firm also.

11 Nov 2020 12:12:06
Skov Olsen is many levels above Barker! Was there any concrete proof we were actually interested in him? If we were, and the boy can find his form again, he would be some signing!

11 Nov 2020 13:15:36
BWD get rid because he isn’t good enough and never will be.
How can you rate barker buy not rate fredo it doesn’t make sense.

I also believe a right forward would finish us off for the seasonings about the only position we are missing.

11 Nov 2020 00:48:50
Brian, you asked " in what wY is empty stadia helping us and not them" that's very simple mate for 2 reasons, it all depends on your individual players they're not machines, if you happen to have more players who thrive with less stress then that's that, and also ibrox is far more intimidating than any other ground in Scotland because of its very nature and structure,

Irvger, you said " any professional football player should be lifted by playing in full houses" really mate, what they should be and what they are is a completely different thing altogether, if its not in they're nature mate, its not in thryre nature, and many have left big clubs, not least Rangers because they simply couldn't operate, and that can't be taught, so you say " I know what I would prefer, yes so did theo sneldrrs, webster and plenty of others who wilted under the strain, walter and archie shipped out plenty who came with big reps and faded quickly.

11 Nov 2020 07:41:20
I agree Tom I think no fans has been a huge benefit to us however if a player can't get motivated or handle the pressure of playing infront of 50k then maybe Ibrox and playing for our club is not for them. let's be honest its a basic must👍.

11 Nov 2020 08:01:10
Still trying to justify the nonsense by repeating the same facts TomThumb🤔
If the lack of crowd has a positive effect on some players then surely it has a detrimental effect on the players who feed of the crowd?
So in theory we aren’t any better off ( positive cancels a negative) .
Instead of playing part time psychologists, I tend to think we’ve improved because we have a settled side, more competition for places and are currently playing some wonderful football.
No need to over think or complicate the matter.

11 Nov 2020 08:42:19
BB, unless we have some psychologists on here we are not really qualified to discuss the individual merits and effects of the boo boys in the stands.

Simple fact is that we are playing the best football I have seen at Rangers for many years without the moans and groans, boos, bigotry or pressure from fans.

Coldo, we have what we have in our squad and I for one would prefer to keep any negative opinions to myself at least until after Tav has lifted a few trophies.

11 Nov 2020 08:52:29
Plenty of great players have failed under the pressure at Rangers and Celtic but had or went on to have better times elsewhere. We do have better players and are playing really good stuff. No fans lifts a lot of pressure off players. I'm not saying that's the reason why we are doing really well but you can't say its not helping relieve pressure. 👍.

11 Nov 2020 09:14:14
thankstom for that i honestly see where you are coming from of course some players crack under presuure from crowds happens in all sports someone mentioned tav as being better because of no crowds? really hmm ok he wasnt captain fantastic last year but in seasons before . he was why? because it was lower leagues? i don't accept that because you play with the team and players that arethere at the time . my point being i don't think tav is playing better because o no crowd ithink he is better because of the team and players around him . anyway thanks for taking the time out to write your point greatly received and enjoy the comments andbanter from all stay safe tom and all.

11 Nov 2020 09:24:55
I have to agree with Tom here, I’m not thinking about the mental affect on individual players as such, more the way that teams have adjusted to the situation. It’s not unfair to suggest that at times In the past Celtic have managed to pull off some big wins (especially in Europe) and gained a number of last minute wins almost due to the backing of their support alone, pushing them on in big games (And intimidating the opposition) . I’m not saying we haven’t had that happen too but there are times when our support can get a little impatient / nervous when we haven’t being doing well and that can transfer onto the pitch and affect some of the players. It’s no coincidence that Celtic have lost 3 of their biggest / hardest games at home this season, they are clearly missing the backing of having a full stadium behind them, lifting them when they may not be performing well, they’re not used to it, they’re having to rely on lifting themselves which they’ve never had to do before and they are struggling. We on the other hand have adapted to it very well and seem to be enjoying playing our football without feeling the pressure of a ‘grumbling’ support when things aren’t going well. It’s allowed us to develop and ‘get into our groove’ so to speak with less pressure.
If you just look at some of the weird results both in the English PL and in the champions league and europa league so far this season it’s clear to see that the empty stadiums and lack of fans are having an affect on results and that some teams are adapting to it better than others.

11 Nov 2020 10:37:38
hi tom hows it going mate i agree with you to some extent . all sports persons love playing in front of a crowd that is for sure some buckle under the/ pressure no doubt about it. is this rangers team / players intimidated the fans media pressure? yes of course . who wouldn't be? you may well be right? but iam only saying ithink we are playing better this year because of new additions players settling in a marvellous squad a fantastic management team i can see how motivated this team is well the vast majority anyway . i also believe every single player would give his left leg to walk out to a packed ibrox every week instead of an empty stadium . i will ask one last question though if the fans were allowed back which players do you think would not handle the pressure of the crowd so well? appreciate the time you took tom to reply to my query. all the best tom stay safe mate.

11 Nov 2020 11:43:17
compromise, let's say its a mixture of both, better team playing well and no boo boys. to say that booing and negative criticism doesn't affect anyone is crazy and you don't need a degree in psychology to know that. the difference is whether you can handle that stress or not. if you make a howler in a game in front of a crowd who remonstrates then the tendency is to withdraw and hide rather than going looking for the ball.

this doesn't just happen at Ibrox and it doesn't just happen in football, its a way of life. very few people actually want to put to themselves on the firing line.
