Thought it was a good all round performance tonight. Nice to see how we play when things aren't going all our own way.
Mckay and Forrester were class I thought, miller was great as well.
Think it was a case of us having so much of the ball they caught us guard for the goal.
Happy wae the 3 points, another game ticked off.

another 3 points on the board and the attitude of the players to come back from a goal down is excellent and pleasing. miller has been brilliant can't praise him enough watched him tonight encouraging the other players the man is class. morton were always going to set up limiting the space hoping to catch us on the break which they did. three goals in reply where brilliant. and shiels almost getting a forth saved by the upright. some fans will criticise defenders and say things like if we play like that against celtic we will get gubbed. but celtic won't play with so many players behind the ball and want to control the ball this in its self will keep the players switched on. Rangers always.

Watching Morton set up like that was frustrating, but obviously the players train to deal with that set up and I enjoyed watching the flow in our play.
Heads dropped a tiny bit after their lucky goal and a couple of mistakes occurred but we showed that we are worth the championship with the response.

Rafbob the comment when their heads dropped is true and a little disappointing but this is where millers attitude, experience and encouragement did himself and us as fans proud i knew tonight was going to be difficult and hoped for a early goal. but you don't always get what you deserve. looking forward to our next game because what ever else happens it going to be entertaining. Completely agree about not getting what Is deserved, how they broke away and scored was against the run of play and created a bit of breathing space for them. As you said though, Miller was focused and got those heads back up before the break.
I feel the way we relentlessly try and break defences for 90mins shows how well Warburton has drilled the team. Good results are great but good displays count for as much, including the confidence of a team and the fans.

I loved the way we played tonight, going 1-0 we did not panick but we did get goals at the fight times, Miller the normal scapegoat but comes up with the goods again, 3 points in bag and 1 step closer to promotion, let's go the bears.

I think that's the difference we play up to to the final whistle. fitness levels are excellent. I have watched a number of scottish premier sides including celtic and you can see them struggling in the last 15mins for fitness or taking the foot of the pedal. i'm just delighted to be on this journey with Rangers enjoying the football again.

Disagree about your comment about Miller being the scapegoat. I have been to every home game this season and haven't heard anyone being a scapegoat. Don't think the fans have had that mentality this season. The support has been tremendous.

Excellent game for Miller tonight, great example to the younger lads of determination and he was unlucky to have that goal disallowed.
O'halloran had a bit of slow night? Forrester was explosive from the start but looks to have done himself in a little with that tackle. Hopefully he is fine and keeps that hunger for Falkirk.

I watched on Rtv and he seemed to be unable to get on the ball, obviously if the play is flowing down the other side he is going to get less action but It looked like he was shut out by the morton defence when he got it for some of the match.

I think Barrie has been excellent since given his chance. If there's a better winger in the top flight I haven't seen him. I think he was worth a shout for the Scotland squad. Thought Harry was very good tonight as well. Hope the injury doesn't keep him out of the next match. He is building momentum with every appearance and don't want to see that disrupted ahead of the OF game.

I won't lie, I thought Forrester was a bit cock sure to start but he has been excellent recently and he isn't afraid to have a shot either.

Just heard MW interview on Rangers tv. Apparently Harry has a bug and that's why he had to go off. Should be ok for Falkirk. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't 3 wins and a draw from our last 8 games guarantee the title? And that's assuming Hibs and Falkirk win all of their remaining games which is not going to happen.

Seeker . 3 wins and a draw would put us on 82 points which is the maximum Hibs can get (even if they win all their remaining 9 games) . So we'd be top with a far superior goal difference.
4 wins means mathematically we can't be caught by Hibs or Falkirk . though I suspect they'll both drop more points and we'll finish 20+ points ahead of them both.
Be nice to have league wrapped up before OF game!

Why has our game been moved to a Friday night? Is that not asking 40 odd thousand fans Including some traveling from NI, down south etc to re-arrange plans to accommodate 10 thousand all probably from Glasgow given it's at Firhill.

It's not for tv it's because the police don't want Rangers, Celtic and Patrick fans all in Glasgow the same day hence our game has been moved to Friday night. our game isn't on tv 2night.

A while back I read that half of the total number of football fans of Scottish teams are Rangers ones. These include expats and other nationalities of Scottish descent.
It seems the under achieving national team manager has been found out now with his team selection and failure in his explanation why he didn't pick Wallace. DJ had a very good comment on the matter and mentioning of the selection of Mulgrew and Whittaker, neither of whom have played football since October.
Holt and McKay certainly warrant consideration too but I reckon O'Halloran is a bad omission from Strachan and by the figure I mentioned there must be a lot of disappointed Scotland supporters today, half of the support base. Doesn't make sense.

I've also admired Strachan to an extent but I can't understand his decision not to include Lee Wallace.
O'Halloran I'm sure will get his chance if he progresses so no surprise there. Funny btw that only just over a month ago St Johnstone were 'holding Rangers to ransom' for a fee of under half a million and now some of my pals are suddenly saying he's international class.
