Use our rumours form to send us rangers transfer rumours.

11 Jun 2019 21:49:05
Laudrup1 I think your being a bit paranoid but having said that - there is no point in cheering them on as there not very good - we are way behind the other UK nations - time will tell if SC will play Rangers players - I don’t believe he is anti Rangers and think he will play Rangers players if they are good enough . In the meanwhile I’m supporting NI for obvious reasons lol.

12 Jun 2019 01:42:32
You don’t believe he’s anti-rangers?! What? Kris Boyd gets hit by a coin and has to listen to sectarian songs against him, Clark says nothing. Clarke has songs sung at him and he’s nearly crying in the post match interview basically saying how much he hates rangers. He won’t play any gets players, he might put one in the squad just to try to say he isn’t against us.

12 Jun 2019 07:03:13
Everyone is free to support whom ever they want. I love Scotland as much as Rangers and would love to see the Scotland team filled with quality gers players. I personally dislike the anti SFA/ Scotland agenda that many of our fans have, regardless of the reasons, I think its beneath us but we're all free to our own opinions.

12 Jun 2019 09:55:10
Couldn't care less about Scotland or their jakey manager.

12 Jun 2019 10:05:49
I'm a proud scot I don't want to see the national team get beaten I'm just not that bothered. Until certain so called Scotland supporters stop booing Rangers players I won't be making any attempt to follow them and I used to. As I said proud scot but fiercely loyal to Glasgow Rangers. W. A. T. P.

11 Jun 2019 21:24:30
Breaks my heart, but i am glad scotland are getting beat, love my country and used to love the national team, they are so anti Rangers, the SFA can't help putting the boot into my club. Hate posting this, but am really annoyed by it. Used to love cheering on scotland, but at the moment, i don't care. Am i wrong? What do you think Bears.

11 Jun 2019 21:37:40
Yeah your wrong but I guess you know you are with the majority of your wording, don’t worry you’ll get loads of support on here from the anti-Scottish rubbish which is posted on here every international break. I’m Scottish by choice and British by rule and I’ll support Scotland and Rangers until my last breath!

11 Jun 2019 21:49:38
Sadly, I'm in total agreement. At my age (67) I never thought I would be so disinterested in my national team and the last thing I want for them is success. It's what the SFA deserve from me. Rangers first and always.

11 Jun 2019 21:51:53
Laudrup no1, I am like you, I never missed an international in the past, but what really has killed our international team is the lack of home grown talent being given a chance, we settle for mediocre players from lower level English football. That is why I want to see players that Rangers purchase in Scotland get the chance to show what they can do at Ibrox, not at any other Club on loan, and as such they may develop into International players far quicker, look at the player Kamara has developed into already for Finland, just one example.

11 Jun 2019 21:56:13
Good post and I agree 100%.

11 Jun 2019 21:56:57
I don't know what to feel mostly annoyed at the anti rangers thing they have got going on. I used to love going to pub with my pals for a few pints and watching Scotland now I not even bothered but still love my country.

11 Jun 2019 22:22:52
can't agree, want Scotland, my home nation, to do well.

11 Jun 2019 23:00:30
That's not entirely true though is it? Are you forgetting old firm last season where Morelos should of been sent off but brother Beaton prevailed?

Or how about SFA postponing league restructure so that it was 3rd division you's dropped down to as result of liquidation and not out SPFL set up altogether?

11 Jun 2019 23:11:00
You are wrong. in my opinion anyway. . your country is your country and you should never want them to get beat. The pride should never leave you and win lose or draw being Scottish is something special and our support is loved everywhere. Your not supporting the SFA it’s the team and what they represent.

11 Jun 2019 23:23:23
I was never the biggest Scotland fan. Sure I would want them to do well but the day Ryan Jack got booed was enough for me. Too political and that’s why Scotland will never get better.

12 Jun 2019 00:19:09
I’’ll say this . I am sure last year we were linked with a possible loan deal with Ollie Burke . praise the lord that never happened.

12 Jun 2019 00:07:55
Probably a bit extreme wanting them to lose but it is easy to be indifferent to the team when they are such garbage.

Another dimension is that the nationalist movement have stolen my country from me. You are either for them or you are not a real Scot.

Their constant moaning and manoeuvring for power and ultimately independence, has caused me to feel more British than Scots.

12 Jun 2019 09:06:38
@cool - you've hit the nail on the head. The SNP are tearing the Country apart. Which is now filtering down to the national team. Even online, the venom displayed against anyone who disagrees with their policies is OTT. They are talking about boycotting Tunnocks because he accepted a knighthood!
Back to football - is any Rangers player worthy of a call up?

12 Jun 2019 09:58:16
You've hit the nail right on the head coolatballet. Couldn't agree more and it is exactly the way I feel too.

12 Jun 2019 19:04:10
And anybody who thinks everybody loves the tranny army I can assure you that's not the case. Especially when they are seen exposing themselves, scratching their arses with hat feathers and pissing in front gardens.

12 Jun 2019 22:04:57
Thought this was a rangers forum? Talking about the Scottish National team, fair enough its football. What has politics got to do with anything?

11 Jun 2019 19:24:51
Hi Bears,

Was just wondering if anybody else had a top 5 to beat mine. don't limit it to sport, the more obscure the better, I will kick it off

Greatest male athletes of all time:

1. Usain Bolt
2. Sebastian Coe
3. Daley Thomson
4. Jacky Mcnamara
5. Carl Lewis.

11 Jun 2019 19:50:17
Haha TJBB I can't argue with number 4.

11 Jun 2019 20:02:28
You could add Roger Bannister, Said Aoiuta, Haïle Gebresellassie, Michael Johnson, Michael Phelps, Elias Kipchoge, Kevin Kyle.

11 Jun 2019 20:03:45
Literally could not care less ?. although michael johnson would definitely be on the list.

11 Jun 2019 20:19:14
The great Joe Calzaghe. Greatest british boxer of all time!

11 Jun 2019 20:25:52
Woosh.

12 Jun 2019 00:06:19
Scott Broon.

12 Jun 2019 00:08:06
Think Seb Coe was stuck up compared to Steve Ovett, loved it when Steve beat him, the only one of your top five that would get anywhere near the top ten greatest athletes ever is Carl Lewis.

will go along with most of Ibrox4Me selection for a top ten, maybe Lasse Viren, Kip Keino and about a dozen Kenyan and Ethiopians, whose names I can't remember.

12 Jun 2019 19:29:06
My top 5 male athletes -

1.Ali
2.Super Ally
3.Fatima Whitbread
4.Senna
5.Bolt.

13 Jun 2019 09:17:02
Fanny schmeller has got to be in there .

11 Jun 2019 16:56:45
Wonder who our Club Captain will be next season?

11 Jun 2019 17:22:08
Tav for me but with the likes of Davis, Arfield and McGregor we're starting to have captains all over the park.

11 Jun 2019 18:02:21
Will be Tav. Goldson possibly also.

11 Jun 2019 18:04:44
James tavernier will be our captain unless he's soldiers for a big transfer fee. Simple as that.

11 Jun 2019 18:19:38
Tav might be off and McGregor is not now captain material after his red card performances.

Jack could also be in the frame.

11 Jun 2019 18:31:38
Davis will motivate and inspire the young players.

11 Jun 2019 23:25:04
Id give it to Arfield.

11 Jun 2019 23:57:34
Arfield or Davis.

11 Jun 2019 15:12:52
Seeing quite a lot of comments about us using the loan market and us "not developing our youth". At the end of the day when it comes down to picking your team, you want the best 11 players you can get, if that's made up of a couple of loan players, I couldn't care less as long as we get the 3 points. I'm sure derby had a good few loan players this season, doubt they will be complaining. I really don't see the problem with sending younger players who are not ready out on loan, help them become ready and in the meantime use loan signings to fill the gap.

Would also just say, I don't think there's much of a difference between the players we are being linked with and those the manky mob are. perhaps a sign of how much we have closed the gap, or how much their tightness will be their downfall.

11 Jun 2019 12:30:25
At the beginning of last season Kent was not much better than Middleton by January he was a stand out player for us. I have never seen Ojoe kick a ball Maybe Ed001 can enlighten us.
I've always said young loanees must be much better than we already have or we are not going to improve our own youngsters. If our youth team players improve this year we should have 3 or 4 pushing for first team playing time by the end of the season.

{Ed001's Note - he has had a lot of back problems, so I have not seen a lot of him for a while, but he was very quick but lacked end product when I saw him.}

11 Jun 2019 15:18:53
Kent was not a stand out, he has had 2 great games against them and the rest was average that’s a fact not an opinion you just need to look at his stats I don’t understand all the we must get him back carry on to be honest.

11 Jun 2019 16:14:29
Totally disagree with you GANNET10.
I can assure you ryan kent had a helluva lot of good games, outwith the celtic games. By the way he had 3 good games against them, not two. that's a fact pal.

11 Jun 2019 16:15:04
Gannet10 Well said Stated that a few weeks back, .

11 Jun 2019 16:18:09
Ed- sounds like Jordan Jones, very quick but no end product. that's not my assessment, i'm from Kilmarnock and that's the talk from my Killie mates.

11 Jun 2019 18:05:33
Kent is a stand out in our team and in our league. He battered celtic in both games at ibrox and the 2nd meeting at celtic park. Kent will be the best bit of business we will do this summer if we get him again.

11 Jun 2019 21:34:48
SGL he never stood out in any other game other than the two Celtic games and I didn’t expect you to agree with me.
He is far too inconsistent and the majority of fans that want him back is because of those two games and for what he done to SB.

He is nowhere near as good as some rangers fans make him out to be.
If he does come back I hope he proves me wrong this season.

12 Jun 2019 00:03:27
Kent a standout? in a full season on loan Kent had played 27 games in the league, scoring 6 and assisting 4, whereas in the 6 months Jamie Murphy was on loan before his move was made permanent he scored 4 and assisted 7 in 16 games, Kent played nearly double the amount of games and has one less goal contribution than Murphy did?but Ryan Kent is a standout.

12 Jun 2019 00:04:51
I completely agree that Kent is nothing special at all, the biggest bit of business for us this season will be by a country mile getting Jamie Murphy fit and back in the team.

12 Jun 2019 08:22:38
Guys Ryan Kent has ability, If Rangers were to buy him 3 Million max, Only my opinion .

12 Jun 2019 09:25:26
Guys I really like Kent but I am struggling to explain the stats for goals/ assists for someone so highly regarded .

11 Jun 2019 12:01:21
Apparently Scott Allen was desperate for Rangers move before moving to them. He only had to dig his feet in for a few months. I hope he lives to regret that decision for the rest of his life!

11 Jun 2019 12:46:45
Allan is a never been.

11 Jun 2019 13:01:37
No sympathy for him either mate he could've sat tight for a few months then joined the famous. Scott who?

11 Jun 2019 14:26:11
Please no more comments or talk about this guy.

11 Jun 2019 16:34:14
OK mum!

11 Jun 2019 23:55:51
I think we can all admit to being taken in by the headlines and not reading the whole article. The article clearly states the move to Rangers was blocked by Hibs. Ok the lad could have maybe waited a year but its a year on poor wages maybe.

11 Jun 2019 11:52:56
Can't believe we are being linked to Josh Magennis - one paper described him as a work horse - ersonally think of him as a carthorse. please no!

11 Jun 2019 14:52:20
He could bully defenders for sure but is he good enough, I understand your point. could do worse similar to Troy Deeney.

11 Jun 2019 15:20:41
Similar to Troy Deeney? Aye they both have 2 legs? As footballers, that’s all they have in common!

11 Jun 2019 16:55:37
Two legs are handy most of the time, you are right he's not perfect. would you keep Morelos then I would.

11 Jun 2019 23:56:32
I’ve seen every Northern Ireland match he’s played in and I have to say he’s nowhere near good enough if we are looking to challenge Celtic! The lad Washington is a better player. Hopefully just paper talk.

11 Jun 2019 07:46:35
Morning Folks, I've just seen on the BBC Sport page that we are going to loan out Hastie and Middleton, but Ojoe will join the 1st team for pre-season training. I don't see this as a way forward for us TBH, we should play our own young players first and foremost, Docherty will more than likely also go out on loan, sorry, but I am having second thoughts about the direction we appear to be going in, just my own opinion folks.

11 Jun 2019 08:15:12
I wouldn’t believe everything you read on there mate, the mainstream media are so far off the pace these days it’s embarassing. You only need to look at the appointment of Gerrard himself, think only Devlin at the sun has the scoop. I would imagine that all players will be given pre season to show what they are made of and if the management team think anyone is surplus to requirements then loans will be likely. Can’t see Hastie going out on loan but Middleton probably. Would be worse places to send Middleton than Motherwell, I’d like to see him play SPL if he goes out.

11 Jun 2019 08:21:20
Don't know enough about Hastie but I honestly think Middleton would benefit from playing week in week out. At the moment I don't think he gets near our starting 11.

11 Jun 2019 08:44:10
Not saying not true but what's the point in buying hastie then loaning him if that's the case I'm astonished, if that was always plan been as well leaving him at motherwell for next season as part of deal strange if true.

11 Jun 2019 08:45:04
Send hastie middleton docherty and rossiter all on loan. Hopefully get aribo in the door along with kent and ojo. 1 poss 2 centre halfs.

11 Jun 2019 09:44:52
I confess that I know nothing about Ojo but it seems to me if we get him on loan we don't need Kent back on loan and if we do get Kent we don't need Ojo. I'd be disappointed to see us under pressure or obligation to play loanees - excluding Kent of course - at the expense of a player like Hastie. There was lots of talk about how he would improve under Gerrard. If he's not training with first team day in day out and getting games, he won't.

11 Jun 2019 10:52:31
I would loan hearts docherty lafferty and Middleton and as part of the deal they loan us souter with a view to buy if he can cut it we sign him if not he goes back. Make them and us stronger.

Also if we are serious about loaning out hastie give him to the the sheep or hibs. Basically make other teams stronger when playing them and weaken them when playing us.

11 Jun 2019 11:22:48
Ivger. I'm sick to death of making the point about loaning out some of our young players. Are we preparing them for the future with Rangers? If so, how long will this take? I completely disagree about loaning out Rossiter, Docherty and Hastie. If Rossiter is fit, he is good enough to go straight back into the team. Docherty deserves a chance at least in the first team squad and why sign Hastie then loan him out again? Some of our own youngsters could play say in the League Cup matches to give them experience then those who do well can be involved on the subs bench or even start some other games. We made this mistake before, signing overrated players because of the fear of not winning trophies. As for the like of Lafferty, get rid!

11 Jun 2019 11:56:12
Problem is Doiger who do you drop. I see our top 6 as Davis, Kamara, Jack, arfield, Kent/ murph/ jones, defoe/ morelas If we sign Aribo then you have Docherty dorrans McCrorie halliday rositer docherty candy hastie ojo And out on the wing we have 6 wingers fighting for one spot Both rossiter and docherty have did well down south last season so let's see if they can cut it at high end of our league. Both their game time next season imo will be limited. So why not do what liverpool are doing with us let other teams develop them for our benefit. I would rather see them playing every week rather than sit on our bench.
If they both have a Brill season at say hearts then they will be more ready to be trusted to go right into first 11.

11 Jun 2019 12:14:50
Good point Stewartyyblue, but we'll have league and cup matches and (hopefully) another good Europa League run so we'll need strength-in-depth. Maybe that's a happy problem as we finished well last season (apart from the last game) .

11 Jun 2019 13:55:12
Doiger, this is utter nonsense and you clearly don’t understand the way football operates. A bigger club loans players to a smaller club. Those players are better than the ones they have. Kent was better than Middleton, but wasn’t good enough to get in the Liverpool team. He came to us, played and improved to the point Liverpool might see a future for him at the club. Ojo will come in and probably be better than Hastie or Middleton at the minute. So we loan them out for the season, they play every week and then come back better. Docherty will probably be better for having played every week for Shrewsbury every week. THAT IS “developing” our young players. Leaving them to rot on the bench or playing them when they aren’t ready and their confidence gets burst isn’t.

11 Jun 2019 14:11:15
Being loaned out does nt mean your not good enough or not going to be good enough, some players will be at the stage they need to play 20-30 games in order to progress at a decent rate, if we can’t provide that then they have to go out to get it and in Docherty case he could go out again but hopefully take a step up in division etc to progress further.

11 Jun 2019 14:25:24
What is everyone’s problem with this? We had the opportunity to get Hastie for free/ development fee. Loan him for a season for experience and hopefully be ready for first team next season.

If we had waited another year he would be unavailable down south probably. Every big team does this. Makes sense if not yet ready but has potential.

11 Jun 2019 15:31:11
If Hastie is to be loaned out then who would be the club to loan him too?

12 Jun 2019 07:49:23
Arthur D back to Motherwell as part of a deal to take Turnbull would be nice. If not then either League 1 down south or someone like Livi.

10 Jun 2019 23:51:11
Just back from braehead and saw the new tops is it just me but think it's horrible and feels really cheap.

11 Jun 2019 07:14:06
I am really not sure about it either mate.

11 Jun 2019 07:26:58
Did any of the guys above, who think our new home top is poor quality and cheap looking, think last year's hummel home top, was better looking and better quality? In my opinion i think all our hummel kits have been decent quality and the designs have been smart. All about opinions i suppose.

11 Jun 2019 08:19:08
Wore mine the other day and loved it. Decent quality and fit. Usual rule applies, if you don’t like it, don’t buy it.

11 Jun 2019 08:21:14
When we get the Ashley situation sorted hopefully we can get a big kit supplier in to raise our profile and more cash!

11 Jun 2019 09:09:27
I liked last years kit. I will buy this years and wear it but I don't see it being the amazing shirt that people keep saying it is.

11 Jun 2019 11:42:01
I agree with you to an extent, yately1.But for me mate, i honestly don't care who is our kit manufacturers, as long as our club get the best deal possible. Obviously hummel gave us more money over our 3 year deal with them, than any of the others and we were told as shareholders, that we were negotiating with 4 different kit makers.

11 Jun 2019 23:54:38
So but new not or me.
