ed I only posting what I read I do not believe it my self but just put it out there since its a rumours page nothing would surprise me with the board though I still think current board are playing king saver 3 bears though stalling for time to tie up all the income streams to the club and assets they can get money for king 3 bears should stop wasting there time discussing with the board and concentrate on getting support for egm so they can win it and get these men off the board

I feel that the best interest of our team will be served by giving the 3 bears our total support. They are genuine bluenoses and don't have any doubts about their credentials. Ashley is only interested in numero uno and in King I have major reservations. As far as the yank goes, I'll sit on the fence.
Personally, I feel we should let the Park group dictate how we go and assist them in every way possible. I just feel that being splintered, as we are, weakens us and we should back one faction and let them do the deals with whoever. I just want back to being united in following our team and kick all the ''politics'' into touch.

Billyb. I haven't got involved in any discussions regarding the boardroom battle because to be honest my head gets mashed with it all, I will gladly talk football 24/7, but I do read all the posts that everyone puts in about the fight for Rangers, and in my opinion I agree totally with what you have said. Some fans have said it doesn't need to be Rangers men in charge, maybe it doesn't but I think it does and I would trust the three bears with my life, all I want is Rangers back where we are no longer a joke to every non bluenose and back to being a proud club that everyone once feared. . Every true Ranger must do what they can to stop Ashley from walking up that marble staircase.

everyone should get behind them 3 bears think they are on brink of agreeing funding package according to Keith Jackson hope this is true and board don't change there mind at last minute and do something else

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with top three posts but Billyb this has got to end, or we will be fighting with the current board forever, I know you say politics, but surely we would be better with the devil we know, instead of the current board, these guys no nothing about football or football boardrooms, Ffs they are not running a bus or taxi firm now, they are making a big mess of trying to run the biggest football club in scotland.

Agree0 Disagree0

O should have mentioned in my last post Ashley got landed with Newcastle united by default, so he known nowt about running a football club, he only knows how to make the shareholders a profit, king and the three bears can be trusted to run our club with success, they will make money in the long run but money is not what drives them on, no, it is the love of our club

So I here if Rangers can offload Kris Boyd at an asking price of £350,000 then they are going in for Nathan Burns an attacking winger/striker I am sure he was an admirer of Walter Smith a few year back! He has become a very mature player at only 26 years!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed039's Note - If anybody will pay £3.50 for Boyd never mind £350k I will eat my own hat and Nathan Burns would not qualify for a work permit ........ we will not sign any players)

If any player comes in this window they will be loans and even at that we will have to get rid of a couple of the deadwood first to free up wages

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed039 we can only buy players if we can use lucky bags and balloons tae payr for them £350 k for boyd it wid be thruppence happeny in l s d and no the l s d that half the clowns are on

Agree0 Disagree0

Who is nathan burns

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - Australian player, used to play for AEK Athens)

Kilmarnock want us to pay them 350k to take Boyd? Seems a bit dear but we could make it Boyd and Black and see if they would accept 450k to take them.

Part of the bait is somers will go.
r. f

Agree0 Disagree0

Didn't think the deal was to freeze out King?

Merely Ashley's ego not want to sell to King but to the Bears. I don't believe he holds the authority to tell the Bears who to/not to deal with

Agree0 Disagree0

R. f. what paper.

Agree0 Disagree0

King is largest share holder. Ashley is a minor share holder about time the board accepts that.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - Approx 9% is not a minor shareholder)

The three bears need to be aware that this will be unacceptable to the majority of Rangers Fans we require a Cull within the boardroom we need to get rid of all Ashleys puppets, not only do I not want Ashley having any influence in the boardroom I don't want him having any idea as to what is going on in the boardroom of Rangers.

i will not put my trust in anyone who jumps into bed with Ashley to gain some power wither it be the three bears, King or Sarver.

WE NEED TO SANITISE OUR CLUB FROM THE TOP TO THE BOTTOM

If that's true no wonder we can't move forward there's far to many egos in that shambolic board you'd think by now Ashley and his cronies would have made enough money from us and cut their losses and walk away.I don't fully understand all this shareholder crap but how can Ashley dictate when he only holds 9% & King holds 14%

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Jan 2015 13:25:52
If the report is true it could be an attempt by them to split the three bears, king & the fans. As a word of caution remember UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL.

Even I know he can dictate because he has 2 men at least,on the board. It seems to me that even if we can shift this mob from the board,King and Park etc may have different agendas too.Are they going to be able to work together?

Agree0 Disagree0

Let's just hope they can get it sorted or will av nae. rangers ta follow.

Just a thought would it be worth while park & co taking up position/positions on the board whilst keeping king up to speed until the new share issue. Attack from inside so to speak.
r. f

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed.I agree 9% is not minor, but compared to the 3 bears and king is not alot. And should not have so much influence is what I was getting at.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - In theory you are right, however he is in the pockets of everyone, that may change now that he is not the only game in town right enough)

Reading the DR this morning and the report on the poor state of the pitch yesterday with black pellets added, is it not reasonable to demand every team which qualifies for the Championship to provide grass surfaces?

It's not an excuse but it is and our performances have been affected by these unfavourable conditions over the last two and a half years. Plastic pitches every other week and teams playing their Cup finals against us every week takes its toll.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

There's astro grass at Auchenhowie, the team can train on it whenever they like so no excuse at all.

Agree0 Disagree0

Op, b*ll*cks, what's your excuse for the utter garbage on display at Ibrox every second week for the last 2 and a half seasons then?

Agree0 Disagree0

If a professional footballer cannot play football on any surface they shouldn't be a professional footballer, it's not as if we even pass along the ground anyway

Agree0 Disagree0

@2, did you watch the goals of Dumbarton vs Hearts yesterday. Their second team pitches up against Hearts and their first against us. That's a fact and plastic pitches haven't helped. I wish these teams raised their game against the likes of Hibs or Hearts but they don't! They store everything they have for Rangers.

Agree0 Disagree0

@3

Spot on mate I'm fed up Rangers whinning about plastic pitches. They should just go out and play the game. We are a punt up the park team so the ball hardly gets played on the deck.

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 kfraser, I was referring to your comment about plastic pitches. As CeeXXX says, they are professional football players and should be able to play on whatever surface they are faced with.
