Can anyone confirm this at all?

Is it not the case that any potential buyers can wait on Rangers going into admin then they can negotiate with the player rather than the club so potentially saving a fortune.

Believable0 Unbelievable5

Might be wrong but aren't the players club assets and therefore come under the jurisdiction of main creditor or whyte, not 100% sure though.

Agree0 Disagree2

Hearts players could bcome free agents if salary wasn't paid after said period and SFA enacted. So if CW wanted say 7m for jelly then he would find a way to pay his salary, mind you others should worry.

Have to say love the disagree support but don't say why, maybe that's why we are in sh@te, no balls or sheep with no brains, ostriches come to mind. Head in the sand for the the thickos

just tried to go to the Gers website, seems we are getting a new website, interesting for a club with no money.

PS I also work for a company that is
in negotiations with Rangers for a
£1.4m stadium wifi project for matchday
betting, strange for a club with no
money eh

In line for his first derby start, Hearts' Australian left-back Ryan McGowan insists his side have the quality to heap the pressure on their struggling city rivals.

according to a certain popular radio phone in, there is an unwanted influence from the rangers board who is having too much of a say in terms of signing players etc which ally is not impressed by. there was talk that some of the players signed in the summer were not down to ally. if this is true then i feel for coisty who has a hard enough job on his hands. who this individual(s) is, is anybodys guess. this comes from a very reliable person- no bull shi*e!

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Anyone with me in thinking that Matt McKay must be good. I know he hasn't really done much here but i think we need to give him a run of games in his actual position.
If he is winning Australia's player of the year over some pretty decent players e.g. Cahill and Schwarzer, then he has to have a bit of quality about him.

With Davis playing s**te so far this season and Edu only coming good in the last few, then he could add something to this team.

Believable6 Unbelievable4

If he was any good do you not think he would be playing. It would look better for Ally if his signing was playing, but he can barely get on the bench. Why, cause he is useless

Agree1 Disagree1

He never won Australian player of the year he won the A-leauge player of the year big difference so just hold ur horses on that one! *ksd*

Was chatting in the pub about the best rfc game we have seen. I went for the 5-1 game against Celtic at ibrox when Wilkins scored a beauty. But the thing I remember most about that game was a chip from Mark Walters that hit the bar from about thirty yards.

My mate went for centenary cup final and tam Forsyth studs. Another was the 2-2 game at ibrox when we had 9 men and Roberts in goal and I think Goughie scored a lat minute equaliser.

All great games, any suggestions?

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Was at the 4-4 selic game at Ibrox super Ally scored a screamer and went mental - brilliant stuff

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh bertie, bertie game hampden was rocking thst night, and the 3-0 game at parkhead to win the league

Agree0 Disagree0

Two that spring to mind is the 3-3 game at Ibrox 1996. Best save I've seen ever by The Goalie. 1-0 game at parkhead Laudrup scored, Gazza missed a penalty, van Hooijdonk missed a penalty. Van vossen miss. That game had everything.
Followfollow81

Agree1 Disagree0

I agree, the 1 - 0 game at celtic park when Laudrup scored was an outstanding match. If you are looking at european nights the best match i have been to was prob Parma 2 - 0. The Munich game when Mols got injured was also a classic albeit we went out.

Agree0 Disagree0

The rangers v Aberdeen at ibrox when Gazza scored three. That was the best performance by a rangers player that I have seen. Also showing my age but there was a game at fir park when Motherwell were two or three up at half time and we won 5-3 I think big DJ scored four

Agree1 Disagree0

I agree with FF81, 1-0 game had my nerves Shredded. Two of the best teams ever in terms of flair, and personality battling it our. The 2-2 game with 9 men was my first ever old firm game, and still I remember Big Roberts conducting the Copeland Road. I also remember 4-2 Ne'er Day game with goals from Hatley, Miko and Kuznetzov, Celtic Fans trying to do us a favour by attacking Ally Maxwell on the pitch and being 3-0 up in 20 minutes, 19'000 bears at parkhead doing the bouncy.

Rikkisixx

Agree0 Disagree0

My best game was 2-0 Parma at Ibrox. Didnt get to many euro games then, always remember it for terrific atmosphere, and the 03 Man Utd game was good for a couple of minutes.

Ed - Craig Whyte owns 100% of Liberty Capital (registered in the British Virgin Islands), which in turn owns 100% of The Rangers FC Group Ltd (not Rangers FC itself and formerly known as Wavetower Ltd) which in turn owns around 85% of Rangers FC. Effectively Craig Whyte holds no shares in Rangers FC as an individual, but three steps away, involving two companies.

When Craig Whyte took on the £18m debt from Rangers FC for which he holds a first ranking security over Rangers FC, do you know which of Craig Whyte's companies took on this debt and what the arrangement is between that company and Lloyds Banking Group, and did it involve any borrowing from another lender and what the structure of this borrowing is? {Ed014's Note - The directors of Rangers FC Group Ltd are Craig Whyte,Andrew Ellis and Phillip Betts. They did borrow the money but nobody knows from which source or the repayment plans.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

And therein lies the problem for lots of us,a real lack of transparency.this is an institution, one of the most famous clubs in football and its owners hide behind three comp reg in the bvi.it worries me we dont know how the financing for the buyout was gained, the repayment schedule or the interest rates involved.got a horrible feeling this guy is gonna drop a bomb on us. blueforyou.

How can Mr Whyte not know how we Gers fans are feeling we are so proud of rangers and our tradition and we will always support them, but while he claims to be a fan himself he just seems to treat us with distain. If he wants the fans on side firstly be honest and open, treat us with respect and show he is a fan.
Can anyone say if they heard radio clyde a couple of nights ago one of the pundits said there was a rumour that certain people at Ibrox were interfering with the footballing decisions although they are not part of the coaching staff I wonder who it could be MR G SMITH maybe.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

It is impossible for Craig whyte to share everything with fans he is running a business with inherited problems ,what did sdm or Martin Bain share with fans ,in business you must keep your business details close to your chest .do you want hmrc competitors and hostile media knowing your business .give Craig whyte until the end of this season before passing judgement.he didn't create rangers debt messrs Murray Bain mclelland greig Johnstone king etc were the previous guardians of the club which ended up in the hands of the bank and in serious debt 9pm a row cost money as did the wee genitals years in charge ,we are now operating at a dangerous level but we won't die keep believing

Agree1 Disagree2

Did Craig whyte not meet with supporters groups last week to share what he was able to share with them

Dear Timalloy nice 2 know you read our monthly mag although I guess you just read the headlines, but anyway you talk about the g51 area project I was not talking about this, but anyway our CHAIRMAN doesn't have 2 pennies 2 rub together ok then since you know so much about our club, as you should be aware people on here keep questioning why andrew ellis is a director on our board now every1 & your granny knows what his line of work is yes thats correct he is a property developer so maybe that is Mr ellis take on it, I have said this before as with the commonwealth games coming up 2014 & with all the work that is being done in the east end no surprise there stephen purcell any1 we all know what team he supports so thanks for bringing this up again although as I say this is not what I was talking about.

Agree3 Disagree2

NYTABOW, if you read my posts correctly, I also said Rangers/Whyte did not have the money for regenerating this area. But Rangers Head of Operations Ali Russell has come out with this story. Please Rangers fans instead of calling me names, do your own research and make up your own minds about Mr Whyte, only the rangers media or tame journalists like ones on evening times, would even run with this absurb story, so why are they? simple, to take heat of Mr whyte's business failures and lack of keeping his promises.
As to my season ticket story, I stand by this, wait until you all get your renewal letters in post with no instalments. Timalloy

Agree0 Disagree4

Timalloy what I heard about the season tickets was instead of paying it over 6 months ( what Rangers brought in this season ) Rangers want it paid in full OR back to the way it was ( paid over 3 months).
Followfollow81

You do not need capital to re-generate an area. The EU and Scottish Govt. provide grants fir that sot of thing. Banks also provide loans, doubt you knew that though Tim. Perhaps the editor of therangerstaxcase didn't mention that.

Agree1 Disagree0

Again, unamed bears if you want dialogue leave a name. How many times do we all have to tell you all, NO BANK WILL LEND TO WHYTE in the current situation, so why put out this obvious false story? And any Government money is going into areas in EAST end near Commonwealth games. Timalloy

Here's Ally's five top targets but the clubs are refusing to sell so Rangers will need to meet the buy out clause.

Xavi £70m buy out clause

Thiago Alcantara £81m buy out clause

Hulk £84m buy out clause

Lionel Messi £225m buy out clause

Cristiano Ronaldo £1 billion buy out clause

With any luck we might be able to get all 5 of them.

Everybody needs to accept the fact that Rangers are a selling club and we have been for some time. We need to buy cheap and sell for a profit to survive. if someone offers 10m for jelly i'm afraid he will be sold, we cannot turn that sort of money down. I just hope if it happens then it happens soon and gives us time to replace him before the window closes

JG

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Always a sensible post from jg. your right mate but i dnt see us getting that, maybie 6-7m i think, question is how much is ally getting for replacements? blueforyou.

Agree2 Disagree0

7 mil tops, no way any1 will pay over that coz he's simply not worth it.

Agree2 Disagree1

Dont forget, jelacic has a 40% sell on clause, thats also part of the reason whyte is over-valuing him

Agree4 Disagree4

Heresay n rumour mate! never heard of a player having that kinda deal. blueforyou.

Agree0 Disagree1

Dont think he is over valuing him at 10m

If he was moving from one english club to another that would be the minimum asking price, it's only because of our current situation that the english clubs will be looking to get him on the cheap

Look at big crouch 2 x 10m and one x 11M transfers since 2008

JG

Agree0 Disagree1

40% sell on clause dont think so who the hell would agree to that

Agree1 Disagree1

Ok, well, put it this way.....

say he's really worth £7m, 2.8m goes on the 40% sell on fee.
that leaves 4.2m.
Rapid are still due something like 1.5-2.5m from selling him, so that leaves say 2m.

so, you can see now why whyte is over-valuing him, add in the fact that ally will probably not see any of this, or the reported 10% (£200k)

makes sense to over value, but he's playing a risky game, cos everyone knows the position the club is in and i bet an offer will be made on the last day for a fraction of what whyte wants, and it will be accepted

Rangers supporter pal tells me that Whyte has met fans groups and informed them that from next season ALL season tickets must be paid upfront. Most fans buy 2 or 3 depending on their families, so who has £1500 to pay out. Whyte is taking advantage of all the genuine Rangers fans to help him with his serious cash flow problems.
Oh and nytabow, my nephews get rangers monthly, I enjoy reading the propaganda in it, latest is that area called G51 around Ibrox will be redeveloped, this is a multi, multi million pound plan. even if we cop a huge tax bill, what about if every Rangers fan around the world made a donation of say 50 quid. even if only 400,000 fans coughed up the cash, that would make 20 million. problem solved !!!

Believable2 Unbelievable1

What and give Craig whyte the club for 1 pound, no thank you, its ok saying this but not all fans are over 16 and under 65 some families have 5 or more gers fans in household that 250 pound or more.

Agree0 Disagree0

There is over 40,000 Rangers fans coughing up between £200 and £500 for season books every season. We shouldn't have to dig deeper into our pockets....

TTG

Agree3 Disagree0

I still support the idea of fan ownership, the Benfica model would work well for us I think. I think they have about 200,000 members. If we could match that and make it a subscription of £10 a month, that would we £24 million pounds of capital investment into the club every year. So if the club operated at an annual loss of £10 million we could cover the costs and still have £14 million left over.

GovanFR

Agree2 Disagree2

Any Rangers fan who wouldn't chip in 50 quid to help the team should be ashamed

Agree3 Disagree4

What about the chelsea model where the fans bought the pitch and some other rights, at least those who could afford to put money in would have something to show for it and there is no way the stadium could ever be sold off or taken by creditors as the land would be owned by the fans

JG

Agree1 Disagree0

'Any Rangers fan who wouldn't chip in 50 quid to help the team should be ashamed'

Why?? Are you at the wind up? I am currently not getting many work days due to the weather, will the club give me £50 quid to tide me over.

Agree3 Disagree1

The whyte shyte didn't 'chip in' with 50 quid, so why should your average punter be expected to bail him out, the guys supposed to be a billionaire ffs, and i dont know about you, but i'd take a wild guess that that the vast majority attending ibroc can barely afford to do so in this climate

Agree2 Disagree0

Why don't 50 Millionaire Rangers fans chip in with £1m each and get rid of the debt.

Us fans pay enough money toward the club. A Rangers top costs £40 odd and are sold all over world, why can't that money be used?

Are you serious? Papac has been our most consistent player for years, the guy is quality

Agree4 Disagree2

Sasa would be first name on team sheet. It would be a huge loss if he left.

Agree5 Disagree2

Wouldn't say he is quality. Solid and reliable.

Agree1 Disagree2

Papa Cee is an unsung hero always puts in a solid shift, definately deserves a new contract!

Agree2 Disagree1

Papac and Wallace are forming a great understanding partnership together and Wallace is superb going forward

Agree2 Disagree1

I think we have a bigger problem at right back, i know i will get pelters for this but Broadfoot performed much better in the OF game than whitty has performed all season, also young mcmillan has done well on the few occasions he has been played, Due to whittys injury ally has no option but to replace him now so lets see who can make a claim for that spot

2 Jas sorry I couldn't reply earlier m8 I work nightshift, 2 confirm yes the food outlets have been totally revamped in the govan & copland stands & as you say the big screens are working again and also the new pa system also the family section is really good for the kids going 2 the games, you have valid points about the last transfer window but as I have said on here before Mr Whyte has took on board he made errors & he will learn from it lets wait & see, but also the poster who was looking for reasons 2 back him, I said I have looked into the business ventures they are tapping into well I won't explain them on here as it would take all day but here's a suggestion buy the RANGERS monthly & read ali russell's article & you will see were I am coming from, listen I am not wet round the ears & think that Mr Whyte is the fairy princess whom is whiter than white, but show me a business man who is & lets not forget there is alot of people who would love 2 see Mr Whyte fail people who have not seen their team win the league for 3 season's, but I will leave you's with this thought our resindent stalker Timalloy has stopped quoting other sites, reason my guess is Mr Whyte has spoke 2 whoever & told them 2 stop leaking confidential items 2 do with the case or he will see them in court as he seems 2 like it in there.

2 Dunderheid the outcome of the tax case is next week so I assume you have already paid your season ticket in installments for this season & you never mentioned 12/13 season, but here is the strange thing I have seen this nowhere apart from you & the guys that were on the bus at the meeting with Mr Whtye, aye that old chestnut wis snowy the dug at the meeting aswell, now I am no rocket scientist but what I do know is if you pay by installments then you pay more for your season ticket, so why would someone ask for all the money up front when they know they can have a steady sum of money coming in throughout the season & also taking the chance that people like you will not take up their season ticket again because they can't afford 2 pay up front or they want 2 see what is happening with the tax case or they want 2 see what team is on the pitch because they are glory hunters so what I would do if I was you & thank f*** I am not is just support your team.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

The reason its cheaper to pay up front is that the bank charge for processing payments rangers have no say in this, dont receive any more money and if we werent charged they would. blue.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's the same price if you pay in 4 monthly installments. You only pay interest if it's 10 monthly installments

Just a side ways step from footballing matter to mention SNP and 2014 referendum for independence - does the small man with the big chins running the country think that any footballing fan would vote for independent rule under his stewardship. 2 years is a long time away - but I will never vote for him or that other Nicola "krankie" Sturgeon - not after the stupid bill that they forced through - he is the fattest cat of them all, he will get what he sowed, Rule Britannia if for no other reason that to see him humiliated.
He can GTF and take his 1 Billion pound Trams with him

Away u on to BBC parliament channel, who cares bout this post? Our club is on the brink and u want to talk about this crap, we come on here to get away from topics like this.

Agree1 Disagree1

You gotta take the long view Pete, fair enough you don't like who's on offer the now, but there will be others (better and worse). It's still the best move for Scotland and generations of Scots will thank us for having the courage to take charge of our own affairs.

Duccablue

Agree5 Disagree3

Pete, totally agree. Cant stand the man, a total weasel, he knows he can t get enough votes at the moment. He is a clown if he thinks Scotland will have a say in Europe.

Lol at the guy who tries to get away from these 'topics', good to get away from the usual crap on here about doom and gloom.xx

Agree0 Disagree2

I would tell the mystery man who wants me to go to the BBC Parliament channell that this is Banter page and the Bill that was put through by 10 chins was a matter for all footballing fans the country over, if you come on here to get away from this, you miss the point of my post.... The SNP instead of trying to help football in our country by maybe putting some much needed cash into youth systems, instead of spending it on Trams that no body wants and a building that cost 400 million pounds when there was a perfectly good one lying empty along the road. That's what I am talking about, They couldn't run a monage

I take what your saying Duccablue, and yes perhaps another figure would make the proposition more attractive.
