Must admit I’m liking Aribo more and more with every game. Reminds me a lot of Albertz. Neat and tidy big guy and very difficult to dis-posess. Doesn’t seem to bother when he is hacked down and is calmingly aggressive. If he can be half as good as the hammer then we will have a star on our hands.

Well today showed me and rest of us bears Jack is more than capable and has upped his game. I hope he stays at that level and aribo looks a find. Really impressed today. Ibrox bouncing!

Have to say that Defoe looks like one of our best ever signings.
Other than his goals I think his complete professionalism has rubbed off on Morelos.
Alf can look at Defoe and think he can learn big things.

Why is he not paul? If it wasn't for defoe, morelos wouldn't have upped his game. Tell me the last time we had two prolific goal scorers of their calibre. Defoe is one of the best signings our club has made. It astounds me how many people can't see the woods for the trees. When you watch defoe its obvious that he has played at the top level his whole career 👍.

Defoe is a top pro, is attitude is rubbing off on Morelos and others.
Also note SG saying Defoe needs to be managed and difficult for him to start two in a row.
He has a goal every two games great stats.
Alfredo better with 101 goals in 180
We need both on top form and available.

Defoe is without doubt in the top 5 players to play for rangers, 35 i am and only gazza, laudrup, davis n mccoist are better imo in my time watching the famous, Cooper i never seen play apart from old videos but he was special aswell.

Ryan jack was superb today. 5-1 up and he is battling for the ball on the edge of their box. The cut throat mentality is there this season.

On the whole ryan jack has been absolutely superb for rangers since steven gerrard came as our manager.
I personally feel that jacko doesn't get nowhere near the credit he deserves at times, for his midfield displays for us. He does the ugly midfield work, extremely well! I think this goes unnoticed at times.

for me jones is the pick of the new signings crop ---direct-crosses are accurate and power---all that a great winger should have--Scotland will be calling and soon---jones over kent anytime---trickery only gets you so far.

Different class at times today. That's 2 top 6 sides from last season we've beat in our opening games.
How good was Ryan Jack?
Are Jack, Davis and Aribo now our midfield 3? Who would have thought Kamara would have had a fight on his hands for a place in the team?
And Defoe's going to keep Morelos on his toes. Even at 37, he's still class.

Great result but what is more important is the performance Couldve been six going on twelve if it wasnt for the Hibs keeper!
Got to say that's the best performance I've seen of Rangers this year in unravelling Hibs in good fashion
Still a long way to go so let's no get too carried away but I do like what I am seeing just now
Still think we are going to have to bring another striker in the door and a tall figure preferably as it gives us more versatility upfront!

Jones is a great pick up. That through ball to Ojo on Defoe's goal was a perfect touch. Old school winger, attacks the corners and gets decent balls across. Draws the other teams defenders out of the middle as they fear the crosses. Adds another dimension to the team.

Totally agree with you jaws. I turned to my mate at the game today, with still 10 minutes to go and said if defoe hadn't scored a hat-trick,
then ryan jack would have been the man of the match. He was absolutely class today and has been under gerrard in general. He covered EVERY blade of grass today and never wasted a pass. A midfield masterclass from jacko today again. Most definitely should be playing for scotland. He's without doubt, in my mind anyway, a future glasgow rangers captain.

Thought we were great. 10mins either side of half time we let them back in the game. Much better from ojo. Defoe and morelos could get 30 goals each. Morelos link up play has improved dramatically, passing the ball in areas where he'd normally try to go himself. Keep it up👍.

Agreed Coldo, I watch Ojo closely and although an improved performance today i'm still not convinced in comparison to the rest of the team, who were outstanding. Fred seems to have matured in his play and temper and I wonder if Dafoe has something to do with his improvement. If he keeps playing like that for the rest of the season and scores BIG goals he will be worth a serious amount of money along with the rest of our team.

I read some posts on here saying they want Morelos sold, I for one have posted the opposite and hoped he'd stay. This is why we should keep him his temperament has vastly improved and he's going to smash his 30 goals! Another great performance all round. PS. I got 9/ 4 for Rangers win the league.

Credit where it is due, ojo was much better TJBB but I agree that he still has to convince me. If morelos overall game continues to improve the way its going then I think you might be right and I'll have to rethink my opinion on his value👍.

What i've noticed about morelos this season already is he's finishing when one on one. Is this rubbing off on him working continually with defoe? He's like a few have said not being totally greedy all the time and picking the correct moments when to pass to his teammate, who is in a better position.

Just back on the bus. Blown away by some of the performances tbh. Defoe, Jones, Davis, Tav all superb but how good was Ryan Jack? He was everywhere and didn't put a foot wrong. Shades of Barry Ferguson at his best, an exceptional player at times. Surely a shoe in for CM for Scotland?

You could maybe pick a wee fault with us at their goal but i feel that's splitting hairs. Although i don't like the wee one, that threaded killer pass from scott allan for horgan's goal was something else. What a pass.

Strong performance today. Still need a better left back. Flanagan was the weak link. Everything looked good, Tav could have had three or four today but the weather was a factor. Fredo with two in 15 minutes!

Not sure he did anything to merit being called a weak link. He played guy on for their goal but Goldson/ katic were about 10 yards off him and flat footed. The two games he has been back in the team we have absolutely hammered the opposition - and he has had a significantly shorter pre season that most of the squad due to double hernia.

Pretty sure Katic covered up a couple of serious slack passes in the back by Flanagan today. I like his physicality but he lacks a touch with and without pressure on him. Passed up on the simple back passes to the keeper a number of times too. Goldson and Katic were caught flat footed because the guy should have been 3 yards off, if Flanagan is up with them. Again its not the end of the world, he just stood out because everyone else played so well.

Anyone unable to get to the game today, and with RTV not streaming live in the uk, I've found the match live on mobdro not on the sports channel but on the live now channel happy viewing fellow Bears 1-0😁.

For anybody not sure about what a vpn is or does it work.
1. Go onto internet and search for best VPN or top 10 VPNs
2. Pick one that's good value and unlimited download (I use tunnel bear at about 50 quid a year)
3. Download your choice of VPN
4. Match day
5. Click the VPN icon. On tunnel bear a map of the world comes up and gives you a choice of where to browse from. I normally just click Spain, a few seconds later and your browsing from spain.
6. Go onto to Rangers TV
7. Buy the game and watch live.
8. Buy a chromecast (30 quid) for you tv and cast from the lap top onto the big screen
9. Never missed a game and works flawlessly every time.
For this to work really well you need good internet. I have 50-60 meg connection and when from spain this goes down to 30 meg which is good enough to stream HD and cast no probs. Will work with lower speeds but bare in mind your speed may drop when on the VPN. Also there is nothing illegal or dodgy about vpns, your just paying a middle man for a space on a secure server which is not geographically locked.

Not eligible as the home nations have a dinferential rule. 5 years of education not just 5 years as a resident. Daily record reporting pish as usual, we would need to rewrite the whole agreeming, with the blessing of the other nations, plus get it signed off by fifa.

I'm going to make a prediction that Barker will be as influential as Kent was. I think Gerrard and Allen have been extremely clever with this one if you look at the similarities of the two players:
Both roughly same age
Both came through big clubs in England's youth systems and were standouts
Both play on left wing but mainly right footed
Both have similar playing styles
Both are brave and won't hide when things don't go their way
Both have had several loan stints with "unimpressive stats"
Both sound and talk exactly the same 😂.
