The store was closed when I posted last night and does not open until 11 this morning The12thman and I don't live in Glasgow. When we were talking last night it was pointed out that it might not be as simple as turning up at the megastore and walking out with a new replica shirt so I decided to ask my friends on Rangers banter, the website was showing the old puma shirt as an example. SFA's Scottish Cup semi final preparations in disarray after latest lockdown restrictions.
The SFA's main reason for playing them this season was "to give fans a day out" and for them ( SFA ) to "make money".
Now that it looks unlikely fans will be allowed to attend, should they just scrap last year's competition and move on?

KJA9 If the league was played to a finish then the cup should have been too. The league wasn't so the cup shouldn't be either in my opinion. The Champs league and Europa are under Uefa decision makers and they wanted to play to a finish so that's fair enough. I just don't get how our FA chose to stop leagues and not cup🤷♂️
For the record I've already said that it doesn't bother me that the league was stopped because realistically we wouldn't have won it but all i'm saying is the full season either stops domestically or it doesn't. Either way is fine with me but be consistent.

Well, if it was to be scrapped then we would miss out on the chance of a Hibs or Aberdeen beating them at an empty Hampden which must be a possibility. Lennon's record there isn't great over the years and the lack of a crowd would be a leveller too.
Plus they would just moan on for years playing the victim card if the games weren't played, claiming they would definitely have won it.
Best to play it out.

Yes kri55 Scov Olsen played against England and would be a good addition. I think we could do with a cm also I’d like ljubicic, not sure about Ferguson as Barry says he’s getting better each season but if he does not play every week at rangers he could be held back in development. I’d also like maric if Morelos gets sold as I’m not sure Roofe is an out and out striker while itten is young and only had 1 really good season.

In all honesty I think we are struggling to find a buyer now. I hope i'm wrong and we get decent money for him but nobody is bidding. All these rumours about the Germans, Portuguese, English and French teams after him I think are a load of rubbish. It could be our press team leaking these stories about so called interested teams to try spark a bit of interest but nobody is biting yet. You'd think that teams would want a player at the prices quoted in before the season starts. Especially when the player wants away from his current team. I just hope that if we don't get a suitable buyer then he knuckles down and shows us the player he can be.
