Fragility confidence! Clarke has been found out in five games. Three scored against 15.Dont like going off gers but that gash has to be discussed. The Scotland marking was worst I've ever seen and this has to be put down to Clarke. This is international standard football now buddy, not plastic pitch, long ba` rubbish. Finally, Mulgrew should never be near a Scotland strip again.

11 Oct 2019 06:28:28
We / Scotland should have appointed scott gemmill as the new scotland manager / head coach, when they were hellbent in replacing big Eck! He knows all the youths coming through the system and has done well managing the scotland under 21's. Its typical of these footballing dinosaurs, we call the SFA.

Gemmill would have been as good a choice as any and given time would have had a better chance i feel, of building something better over a few year period, as it will most definitely take time to sort this mess out. I said on here even if the SFA clowns pushed the boat out and went out of their way to bring in a guus hiddink or jurgen klinnsman as scotland manager, with gemmill assisting them short term,
with the view of taking over a few years down the line, would have shown ambition and meaning business.

11 Oct 2019 07:49:25
Darren Fletcher at half time saying that we can now see what Clarke is bringing defensive wise to the table. How did that work out? Lol.

11 Oct 2019 10:03:01
Loyal, I said that before, Gemmill was by far the best choice on offer. He would have brought up more youth. I don't mind scotland getting beat when we are trying to win a game not going into every game with a terrible defence trying to sit with 11 men behind a ball to scrape a draw. Clarkes tactics don't work in international football.
Bring in the youth McCrorie, Hornby and of course Gilmour, name a midfielder in that scotland team who could get anywhere near the chelsea squad. If clarke doesn't start some of the younger players in the next batch of qualifers then he shouldn't be anywhere near the international team.

11 Oct 2019 10:15:20
Am not surprised by last night's result to be honest. Boys like Snodgrass, who made themselves unavailable for big Eck. They can get to f*uck! Devlin can't even get a chance for the sheep. Lot of those boys nowhere near good enough for international football. Big Ecks time as Scotland manager doesn't look so bad.

11 Oct 2019 12:12:27
Glad they got pumped. The sooner the whole corrupt organisation of the SFA is taken to task, the better.

11 Oct 2019 14:21:20
Flinty mccrorie can’t get a game for Portsmouth.

11 Oct 2019 15:22:25
couldn't agree more how some teams got UEFA licences is beyond me.

11 Oct 2019 16:31:59
How's your local team doing glory hunter Dave? Looks like your glory hunting days will soon be over. What then, back to East End Park?

11 Oct 2019 20:52:31
Didn't realise this was a Scotland supporters club page? 🤔.

11 Oct 2019 21:34:37
I know, let's not mention the S word again!

11 Oct 2019 22:08:16
Thank our lucky stars none of our players involved. long may that continue.

10 Oct 2019 23:36:45
hi
I still think when Rangers took a chance with S. G as manager, this has been a great move for us.
Yes he has made mistakes, but overall he has improved not just Rangers but Scottish football.
His pulling power for a better class of player is huge and players want to play for him.
He has seen off B. R and could do the same thing to N. L, and D. M
Hope we can hold on him a few more years before he moves on.

11 Oct 2019 06:37:09
Certainly improved us and our football, but he hasn't improved the quality of Scottish football outside us, Aberdeen, hearts, hibs, celtic are worse than they were. He has put our game on the map because of who he is. 👍.

11 Oct 2019 10:04:52
I get what your saying but a manager/ team are rated on the trophies not how good the results are. Not saying SG was a bad move, I think it was a great move but he hasn't won anything yet and with the money he was given he needs to win something this season.

11 Oct 2019 10:17:14
Not often I agree with you coldo. SG does need to win something this season. he will win the league!

11 Oct 2019 14:41:55
Don’t thing gerrard needs to win anything to prove himself. He and king have brought this club back from the brink and people forget where we were just 3 years ago almost defunct and out of business so three cheers to gerrard who has improved the team on the park with limited funds and a massive thank you to king who saved the club from oblivion. If we win nothing it’s understandable but what a turnaround and I take my hat off to king.

11 Oct 2019 15:48:29
I understand what you’re saying Muppet but at the end of the day, a club as big as us will be judged on winning trophies. I will be forever grateful for DK and SG getting us back competing and know it’s a huge step in the right direction but until he gets the first trophy there will be question marks.

11 Oct 2019 16:37:34
Thats because you are always wrong mrgrumpy👍.

11 Oct 2019 16:56:42
Sorry muppet, but if gerrard doesn't win the league then he'll be a failure. He has to win the league👍.

11 Oct 2019 21:44:52
How's the book going coldo? 😉.

11 Oct 2019 22:04:54
Mrgrumpy 👍.

11 Oct 2019 22:10:04
Great posts muppet and 89 agree totally.

10 Oct 2019 23:16:52
San Marino 50/ 1 on Sunday might stick a wee tenner on them to beat Scotland 😂😂.

10 Oct 2019 21:25:56
Another litre bottle getting tanned tonight! Joke. Wonder if jakey will get anything like the abuse big Eck got?

10 Oct 2019 21:37:00
Seems it was a big mistake going for him as Scotland manager just when you think things couldn't get any worse it certainly can.
half these players he picks should be no where near the Scotland squads time to move on and bring someone in that will bring the youngsters threw and build something for the future.

10 Oct 2019 21:42:36
how can you go from Kilmarnock and a plastic pitch to an international coach is way beyond me-.

10 Oct 2019 21:56:35
The messiah is getting found! out no way will be get the abuse Eck got shambles.

10 Oct 2019 22:08:28
In fairness to Clarke players r worst I remember in my lifetime. Sofa talk performance school, grass roots football not got a clue.
That’s why more than half teams left league to develop own players.

10 Oct 2019 22:31:46
Persuade sir Walter to come back and sort the Scotland team out maybe for a year and bring the kids through. Clarke is useless. Only player tonight who should have been on the pitch was Robertson. Where are all the Gers players who used to grace the national team? At least we mulled Russia at rugby!

10 Oct 2019 22:41:26
What youngsters though? The whole Scotland set up is rotten to the core. Out of date last it execs protecting their own interests ahead of actually wanting to try anything progressive.

10 Oct 2019 23:11:22
I'm only glad that Ryan Jack isn't part of that shambles.
He would have prob been blamed for the result.

11 Oct 2019 06:34:18
DOIGER, I agree with you regarding Walter Smith and he would have been the outstanding choice before big Eck got the job, but typical SFA made a total pickle of it, by dragging their heels on approaching the great one!

Sir Walter wouldn't go near or entertain the Scotland manager's job now. Walter deservedly so, is enjoying his retirement, but i do agree that he's most definitely the manager capable of sorting the national team out!

11 Oct 2019 07:50:20
I was thinking the exact same Stewarty.

11 Oct 2019 09:08:05
has shagger retired from international football?

we do have SOME good players robertson mcginn mcgregor armstrong.

seriously lacking a decent striker, decent wingers and defenders.

11 Oct 2019 12:18:26
Looking at the subs bench last night I don't think I recognised anybody! Is Fleck playing for Sheffield United these days and how did Shankland get in the squad? He's scored a few for Ayr United and the Arabs but big deal. McCrorie and Docherty have the potential to go on and play for their country as does McPake. The talent is there but the system doesn't give them a chance. As long as Rangers and Celtic are under pressure to win the league, their managers are not going to risk losing it by playing youngesters. Sad but true.

11 Oct 2019 16:18:48
Young players will never get a chance for Scotland. Its always been the same it’s harder to get out the Scotland team than it is to get in it.

10 Oct 2019 19:14:30
Some our academy boys showing up well for under 19 and under 21s.
Patterson mebube score.
Middleton excellent mom, also Kelly making debut, great pass to Middleton, Kelly should have scored.
Mccrorie stand out defender.

10 Oct 2019 18:51:25
change of subject - seen the Scotland line up? another gubbin on the cards?

10 Oct 2019 21:33:12
Pissing myself! Whose idea was it to give the job to Clarke? Wrong team selection. Wtong tactics. Red faces all round. They should all be ashamed of themselves tbh. I've seen more fight in a week old rice pudding.

10 Oct 2019 22:10:40
See, er what team would u have.

10 Oct 2019 23:14:52
I can guarantee it wouldn't include O'Donnell, Mulgrew, Devlin or Marshall for starters. Also Shankland should be nowhere near the squad at the moment. I'm not saying he hasn't got anything but he has done nothing of note so far save score a few goals against journeyman players. He is nowhere near ready.

11 Oct 2019 09:05:58
See, name one other Scottish player whos actually scoring close to how shankland is?

11 Oct 2019 11:34:53
McMorelos.

11 Oct 2019 12:26:55
Aye but Shankland is in a lower division. As I've said the boy just might be able to step up but right now he should be nowhere near. There are some good Scottish players but too many others are bang average who should be nowhere near the squad, never mind on the pitch. Putting Kilmarnock or Aberdeen players in the side will never work. Does he not know why they are in those sides? Devlin, O"Donnell, Brophy they are mid to low level PL players.

11 Oct 2019 13:44:11
See, I agree with you these players are bang average, but Griffiths out, mcburnie out, Oli Burke a waste of time, Brophy a false 9 not even a striker. Who else can you put upfront other than a boy whos showing potential and banging in goals for fun, regardless of the league he plays in.

11 Oct 2019 14:23:04
HARDIE.

Isn't it just superb, that an absolute class striker jermain defoe wants to stay with rangers beyond this season and probably finish his career with us! He calls us a very special football club and reckons he can easily play into his 40's as he feels as fit as ever. He has got the physique of a man 10 years his junior. I think he will play with us for several more years and will more than likely become our striker coach. Wee defoe is a pure quality striker still and a class act all round! Really hope he stays with us until he retires. He's a massive rangers fan's favourite.

10 Oct 2019 17:56:17
He is a fantastic player mate.

10 Oct 2019 18:22:44
Yes extend his deal, I’d like to see him do his badges then mb if successful manage us. He has the class.

10 Oct 2019 18:22:58
Fantastic player and by all accounts an even better human being.

10 Oct 2019 18:29:32
Another sign of the progress we have made when he could potentially go into coaching and only a few years ago we said the same about Kenny miller.

10 Oct 2019 20:06:24
Defoe has a heart of gold and is also a class act with the way he has time for young fans in general. Just look at his terrific gesture he did after the hamilton game last sunday,
by giving that young girl his hat-trick match jersey and the hat-trick match ball. Who can ever forget the relationship and loving bond that he developed with that wee ill sunderland fan bradley lowery. That wee lad absolutely loved defoe and dotted on him and defoe loved that wee kid. Defoe actually has a tattoo of wee bradley lowery in memory of him. Absolute class by defoe and god rest wee bradley lowery.

10 Oct 2019 22:11:09
I first saw him as a 17 year old on loan at Bournemouth and he was special then. Never dreamed he would grace Ibrox, we are so lucky as he will last a while yet and have a positive effect on the team, dressing room and training pitch.

10 Oct 2019 22:11:52
SGL already told u he kept match ball.

12 Oct 2019 02:37:34
Hope he does go into coaching with us, could be a ready made replacement when SG eventually goes to Liverpool.

10 Oct 2019 13:19:17
Think it's time we set up a "Tam from Clydebank" tribute page! try and get him on his Clyde SSB. Rant It's the gift that keeps on giving Tam you're a star a timplosion live on radio.

10 Oct 2019 16:37:34
Clydebank - the only place you will see an imprint of a dog’s paw on a human sh! te - according to Kevin Bridges 😁.

10 Oct 2019 18:41:00
😂😂😂😂.

10 Oct 2019 19:23:56
Imagine how I feel. I am clydebank born and bred. I have to put up with the pish 24/ 7 😒😒.

10 Oct 2019 20:15:35
Sorry.

10 Oct 2019 20:23:52
In clydebank you can point at a tree and say that's the front when asked how do you know you say there's a turd at the back of it.

10 Oct 2019 12:54:54
Apparently leeds have our manager on their radar if it becomes available😑😑.

10 Oct 2019 13:37:57
SG will not leave rangers for Leeds .

10 Oct 2019 14:05:26
I wouldn’t worry about that rumour👍🇬🇧.

10 Oct 2019 11:07:57
These pages are awful quite these past few days. Is everyone on sabbatical? I keep looking to see if anybody has anything interesting to say but nowt.

10 Oct 2019 11:55:08
C of Ibrox agree I thought it was broken!
Anyway how did we end up with all those away games between now and ends of year if we can get through that unscathed we’re on our way.

10 Oct 2019 12:49:44
Have we not had more at home recently than the smellies after euro games? Sure I saw them moaning and trying to spell conspiracy.

10 Oct 2019 12:55:18
Agreed if we are still top on the first of January I will really start to believe this could be the one. Even if we had played more games you'd think even a Tim could work it out that it will eventually be evened out!

10 Oct 2019 14:14:26
C_of_Ibrox OMG nowt? ain't heard that for years My Gran was a Yorky came from near Doncaster I'll never forget her quote
^Hear all see all say nowt.
eat all sup all pay nowt
and if thee ever do owt for nowt do it for thee sen"
Not sure if that's the exact rhyme but its how I remember it.

Think most of the discussions on here are peeps disagreeing on either team selection or team orders. I'll be very appy when Kent is back and Ojo plays much less and Katic is a more regular starter. Things are going great :) roll on 55.

10 Oct 2019 17:02:43
Tims have played 5 away 3 at home in league so far. probably clears up all our up coming away games.
