Reading that we're going to the London court on Thursday as Asley is trying to recover his £5 million what's he up to, he is a calculated fever business an with a very astute team of lawyers. I wonder if he's planning anything now he has stepped down from being a director at Newcastle only time will tell. Reports are saying King has had talks with McColl today so much promise and hope last month now its beginning to look like if the price is right you've got the job McColl failed Davis is a failure.

Surprised Dave King never mentioned the court case at his press conference or is this the meeting in London he alluded to, trying probably to imply he would be talking to potential investors.

Another example of why there is still little transparency at Ibrox.

I've got a feeling that the people who have been opening their mouth too much on Twitter, and has been spouting stuff against Ashley and Sports Direct that is maybe confidential information!

Doubt very much that its a ring-fencing action. Can't achieve that for a debt that is not due. If the loan is without formal repayment date then it is not in default or due and the board are entitled to consider any repayment request in the context of other funding and cashflow needs. Suspect the action is a gagging order to prevent the publication of the true retail contract agreement details.

It wasn't the 5 million from Jan its how DK& PM went about de- listing.MA has all the aces whilst DK & Co hold a Busted Flush. More money for court & wages for the 3 amigos.Tomorrow will be interesting A Billionaire V a convicted criminal who had been branded by a High Court Judge he is a Shameless Liar.

Gord, as well as a settlement date, all loans normally have a clause which allows the lender to recall the full outstanding balance of the loan at any time they choose to before the settlement date and MA's legal team are much too shrewd to miss that one out.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - it is very rare for a loan to have such a clause. Otherwise it could cause chaos when enforced. Usually they have a clause asking for a penalty payment in the event of early repayment.}

Naz if you read the detail of the ruling King or any other Board member could not talk about the case. Instead of all the anti Board sentiments as and demands for transparency even when it would land Rangers in Court why aren't we asking why Sports Direct want to keep everything a secret? Posters like you are asking for transparency, which I think the Board can't give because of SD and MASH having everything covered by confidentiality clauses. Why don't we demand transparency from SD in return for us spending our money with them? I think we are all chasing the wrong villain.

No no no, Stuart McCall should not get the managers job, he had a chance and blew it. let's move on, get a new face in, hopefully Warburton, fresh ideas, and a new culture at the club. If we don't we will go further backwards. Warburton has good ideas, gives young players belief, I think he should be signed up now.

Fulham are talking about £20m war chest for their new manager .
Rangers cannot put a finger on what they will have to give their new manager .
What exciting forward looking manager would want to become a manager of a club needing loans month after month to survive .
Everyone needs to become realistic .

Fellow Bears
Have a look at our squad profiles ie First team, Professional Youth & Backroom staff.
First team squad has got a very lot smaller ( too long to list those now departed )
Best fact is on Backroom staff Ian Durrant is no longer mentioned.
Is he that far down the pecking order or has he gone also?

Hang about, I thought Ian Durie was the new youth squad guru?? As I remember you banging on about how great it was he was in your youth team setup!
So why are you happy he isn't there any more?

Rangers have pared their squad and their football staff to the bare minimum , except for Mc Coist .
Yet they may find it difficult to find the money to rebuild .

Brilliant Matelot
Did you find out that IAN Durrant was job sharing with Gordon DURIE.
Or are you just another sturrer without checking your facts properly?
Again for Bears to check there is no mention of Stuart MaCall or Kenny Black within the profiles sections.

is see Warburton is going frustrated at the length of time rangers are taking to name there new manager and he is now also talking to Fulham if our club do not sign him as our new manager then they have seriously missed the boat and a lot fans will not be happy
that leaves it down to three candidates I would say would be left in the running McCall mcinnes both bout same as managers I would say so for me I would rather go for the 3 person and that would be ian cathro

As I said a couple of days ago I can’t see Warburton coming to Rangers now after hearing all Dave King’s contradictions. This is a very smart financial guy and I have a feeling that he will likely think that Rangers are still a financial basket case with no guaranteed plan for moving forward.

Not sure where you pulled this one from craig, most likely the backside of a donkey. Fulham have been in talks with Warburton for the past 2 weeks, he's being offered big money, and a VERY nice transfer budget. The board are trying to fight off that interest.

According to the press this morning the five candidates are Warburton, Cathro, Davies, McInnes and McCall. Warburton is the favoured choice but Fulham are lining up a bid to take him there
