Just after reading there that former spurs player gary mabbut saying that spurs should move to sign jermain defoe on loan 'till the end of the season, to cover the injury to harry kane. Can't see it happening myself and would really hope to god that it wouldn't happen. I don't think there's many bears out there, who don't want defoe to stay with rangers, on a permanent player/ coach contract, once his loan deal from bournemouth finishes, at the end of the season! Defoe is still a quality striker!

SGL, I'm not surprised Defoe has been mentioned or any other of our players. Gerrard has done wonders. However I believe Defoe is happy at Rangers and have heard he is going to sign for Rangers. Someone on here posted that Spurs are interested in Morelos also.

Advice requested,
Going to Dubai next Monday and meeting friends who are travelling there from NZ. Looking to see if anyone has some must see when we are there.
Are the Gers still there or are they back by then, would try and see a training session if they are still there. Will need to be careful not sure if the ball and chain would be up for that, but could pap her on the big red bus if there is one.

Go to burj khalifa. Also a walk around the mall is excellent, lovely and cool if you are melting oiutside.
Plenty great eateries well priced.
Do not worry re Iran as ucouldnot feel safer.

Mate it’s not cold. I left Glasgow at start of week -3.
Tee shirt and shorts.
Long trousers and top at night, not had a jacket on.
{Ed001's Note - I must be getting used to it here then as I have a coat on and it looks like it is about to hammer down here. Just heard thunder here in Deira. Might be nicer in the posh end where you are though John, the buildings often shelter and strip the rain before it gets Downtown.}
