Personally on a humour wind up piss take thing I think we just need to sing

"Who ate all the pies" and "You Fat person, "You Fat person" every game until Dick Ashley. sorry. grrr I mean Mick Ashley gets all self aware and sees what an ugly fat person he is and leaves all us slimline handsome bears alone with our club. "You Fat person. You Fat person' hehehe

Evening troops far from convincing win today but I personally will take what we can get. Just wondering if any one else thinks IF we can beat hearts on Friday night cutting their lead to 10 points over us. They could possibly loose 2 and draw one with 16 games to go meaning the last game at Tynecastle could be the biggest game Rangers will ever play? As it would be winner takes all last game of the season. I still think hearts have to hit a sticky patch although I admit I'm probably clutching at straws : ( thoughts guys

Born blue

Believable0 Unbelievable0

That would mean going through the rest of the season undefeated. nae winning every game. just ask yourself. . can you see that happening with this bunch?

Agree0 Disagree0

Correct you are

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi Bornblue. i'm a half glass full type of guy who would die for Rangers and I want them to win every game, but even I now accept how bad our team is, earlier on in the season I thought the players were just going through a blip but they have got worse week after week, I lived in the hope, that it would all come together on the field but that hope is fading fast. At this moment in time I will just be glad to get a play off match never mind winning the league. Ps I didn't know whether to send this post to Rangers banter or the Samaritans, that's the trouble with being a Rangers fan at the moment.

Hearts would have to completely implode for us to catch them now and we would need a whole new management team(with tactics) and 1st team (with a bit of fight). I think we will still make the play offs but to get through it is where the problem lies personally I wouldn't mind if we were still in this division next season if it meant we can build the whole set up from the bottom up with a guy like Felix Mgath as technical director but I think just getting through this season should be our main priority then hopefully King and the 3 Bears can lead us to a better future

Agree0 Disagree0

Born blue I think it may be possible to catch them it all hinges on beating them friday they have had no injuries or suspensions to talk of they don't have a big squad if u bring it down to ten its only 3 and a bit games they have to go to easter rd and dumfries it is possible I think anyway

Agree0 Disagree0

Coplandroadfront3. I think we might have to settle for another season in championship, but like yourself mate, I think it would be for the better, unless some technicality befalls hearts lol, lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bigwull as much as I hate myself for remining anybody, we were further in front a few seasons ago, I don't think I need to finish this post eh.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bw Hats of to you mate for your believe but surely you cannot look at our team at the moment and think for one minute we can still win this league. Don't get me wrong i'd love it if we did, and it breaks my heart to say this, but we are simply not good enough, i'd go as far to say that if we did win the league I will gladly streak across the Ibrox pitch with nothing but my scarf on.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bigwull we also have to got to them same grounds.

Agree0 Disagree0

What we need to kick us off is a win on friday confidence and belief is a big part of our problem macdowall at least has some conviction leaving black and co on the bench although defence is still dodgy with foster still in team

Agree0 Disagree0

@BIGWULL. It's not right to say they have not had any injuries to speak of. They have been without first choice strikers for ages; including when they beat us 2-0. That's why they have brought in their new lad. Btw, he will run right through the defence at Ibrox on Friday

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers won't go through the whole season undefeated and even if we did manage to beat them on Friday we are just as likely to drop points next game. This team isn't capable of winning the league given our current position. Hearts will win the league comfortably and then it's the play offs for us. That will be a lottery and we are just as likely not to go up as go up. Honestly think it might be best to stay in championship and get rid of all the players out of contract. Get a new manager in and hopefully new owners and start to build

New coaching staff urgently needed.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

And a manager!!

New coaching staff most definitely required don't understand some of the negativity surrounding the likes of felix magath after that performance today I would take felix the cat on the touchline hanging on against part timers, bad enough worrying what that other mob may do to us in the cup we also now have next Friday to concern ourselves with. No skill, No width, No heart, No passion, No finishers, No clue.

Agree0 Disagree0

Soton bear yes mate Felix the Cat and the 3 Bears plus a Wise King. hoping we are going to have a fairy tale 2015 lolol

With killie reported to want boyd who thinks a swap deal for eremenko would be worth a shout?.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We got enough lazy over weight players as it is

10 Jan 2015 18:14:33
But he can sure make a pass ten times better than Law, Black or Hutton any day of the week and pretty good at dead ball situations.
r. f

Agree0 Disagree0

Inverbear I would say much the same mate, eremenco is a good player, but like you sat far far to much wieght has been put on, I've read elsewhere it's harder to put wieght on than lose it, but footballers make me wonder if that is true.

Not happy with the starting lineup but a fair start hopefully we can push on from here keep up the tempo and put the game to bed early p's. Well done bears who have made that journey today with the travelling conditions.

Considering the recent low attendances at Ibrox, does anyone think getting 50% ticket allocation for the celtic semi-final is fair. I know there is a boycott, but I assume that will be forgotten for this game.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed039's Note - both teams have muserable attendances just now)

Of course it's fair, how many times have you seen they're ground full this season.

For anyone interested and not travelling to the game today it is being streamed live on www.football streaming /fsi. Unfortunately wiz wigs closed live sport streaming but this is a good site to pick games up live and FREE.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Cheers mate.

If felex megath got 1% for 200. 000 grand then the club is worth 20 m we have been shafted we don't know who owns the club Murray park or who else owns the rest of our great club I hope king and the three bears can sort this out

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Damo - that's right, that's the market value of RIFC at 20p per share, as for owning the club, the company own it, as for owning the company, the shareholders own it, magath now owns 1%, king 15%, prior 1. 3%, etc etc,

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

My understanding is that RIFC value the club at ~ £50m on the balance sheet but the market value based upon a current share price of 25p is £20.5m. The recent Sarver valuation implied by his offer was ~ £33m. Similarly the King offer back in late October valued the club similarly to Sarveroffer.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mols - don't forget mate the current share price is only where it is because there is a takeover offer on the table, it will drop if that is withdrawn

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

JG

Understood. The true value of the current assets cannot be anymore than £15-20m in my view

Agree0 Disagree0

33 million dollars was the 2nd offer which evaluates to £20 million

I need to switch off for a bit from all these boardroom battles, anyone got any thoughts on the game today. I think we will get a decent result, looking at yesterdays poll result I'm in the minority, if I'm wrong then I will hold my hands up but I reckon we will win by a couple of clear goals today.

Royalblue I'm surprised the game is on mate.I awoke to find my back fence was gone!So I don't know what the weather is like in grouse country, but I'll go for 3-1 for the Gers.

Agree0 Disagree0

LOL. First time I've heard of Alloa described as 'grouse' country

Agree0 Disagree0

Gkk
With all that's going on with Rangers I think I will be on the grouse tonight. 😄

ED001/ED039 can one of you confirm that no judge would sanction a second administration with so many interested parties willing to put money into club.
My understanding of administration is that this is only possible if no hope of meeting debts or getting additional funding in. Am I correct in this line of thought?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - that is my understanding as well. Which is probably why they are screaming about being desperate for money so much to try and create it as an option.}

If a creditor applys to wind company up u have two choices pay up or get placed in admin or liquidation its not up to judge if board wanted to put rangers into admin judge can do nothing about it being put in admin preserves company to talk to possible buyers ta

Agree0 Disagree0

BIGWULL that is not correct the fact there are listed investors prepared to put huge amounts of money into Rangers the 'board' would NOT be permitted by law to put us in Admin. Fact.

redsox555

Agree0 Disagree0

Redsox555 that is how I would have imagined it to be, but as you could have guessed by my posts I was not sure, but after reading your post ime fairly confident that you are right, I don't think mr king and the three bears would have invested if it was as simple as ashley could put us into admin Ffs he is not anywhere near being a main shareholder, so ime glad of your post mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

The Other George :-)

Cheers mate I did a wee bit of law edin Uni enough to be reasonably confident that is the case but regardless anyone with a grain of sense will realise after taking all this time to 'manup' with ### King for one will not be throwing it down the drain and having bought a jeep of Mr Park I know he is professipnal to perfection level I see no reason any of the 3 Bears are into throwning their cash down an Admin bin.

The thing everyone is forgetting is that the Big Tax Case was hanging over us last time here was an Admin this put off many big money Rangers men as they were s**ting it lose all their money if HMRC (RC being the important part of that) had got their desire

RTID redsox/george555

Agree0 Disagree0

Redsox555 believe it or not I was one of the people that agreed with you on this a couple of years ago, and I fully agree with your post above, especially the end part, the main part in my eyes.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Jan 2015 02:07:39
Ed and all bears, we know of people willing to invest in our club, we also know the beard are skint, living on loans, would the sfa allow these parasites to put us in administration, cause if we we're put in admin then we would never know how much these people have taken for free, as Ashley would give admin job to duff and phelps, I could be wrong but if admin happened nobody sees the books, is that right.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

But a thought Ashley was buying club through sarver? Why not admin just now? Why spend the money to put us in admin?

Agree0 Disagree0

Laylex Ashley has not spent any money on rangers, and if we went into admin he would be the main creditor, as we owe him 3million for his loans.

Agree0 Disagree0

As Ashley has 2 men in inside as we defo know llambias and the financial director, why doesn't Ashley just put a 6. 5 m loan against ibrox and Murray park?

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe rangers don't own ibrox and Murray park?

Agree0 Disagree0

Laylex. I think that could be his next move, unless him and the new shareholder work it out, and the get Ashley to feck, with an amended retail deal.

Agree0 Disagree0

So will someone tell me why it would be a bad thing if it was sarver or Ashley that got full control by spending over £40m

Agree0 Disagree0

Laylex. we no hehaw about sarver. as a bear I think we have been to trusting with our so called saviours. cw, cg, ms. sarver is a spanner in the works. king, 3 bears, fans v board/ashley. sarver just over complicated things. I would welcome sarver after the battle is done. ashley can't be trusted full stop. plus the ignorance and non communication with fans groups is a no no from me. dialouge with your fans is paramount.

Agree0 Disagree0

Your now clutching at straws now, Ashley's smarter than you an and me both, if that was his intention for rangers then that would already be the case, why ask ask sfa for permission to increase stake at rangers, what is it you have against Ashley? You say he would be happy to sit and take every penny from us like Newcastle, what is there to take from rangers if you pay £40m plus for control? Do you know much Newcastle have spent on transfers through Ashley? He would make more in TV money with Newcastle in a season than he would selling off everything to do with rangers

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - his money is made through free sponsorship of the stadium and kit sales etc. You don't make much money out of selling players, by the time you pay up their contracts, pay the agent fees and the percentage due to the players + previous clubs that developed them, you usually end up with very little.}

Laylex we talk about MP or Ibrox being secured against any loans that MA may give us. What's not to say he does a deal with the board were he gives the money against the next 3, 4 or 5 years season ticket money like the Ticketus deals previously?

Agree0 Disagree0

What the whole 10,000 season tickets for 5 year, he's won a watch there then beezer

Agree0 Disagree0

Laylex. I did not say I was smarter than ashley, in his line of work, I agree. as to why he went to s. f. a,. to keep the guys out who no there is dodgy dealings going on. ie. protect your intrests. your other question. ashley never offerd £40 mill. alarm bells rang when they payed off lower scaled workers at ibrox. chicken feed wages to hard workin ppl. but he puts in llambias an leach?protecting intrests.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers only own buildings at murray park they do no own ground they sit on its only leased there is also a soft loan secured on murray park unless charlie g paid it off

Agree0 Disagree0

Bigwull a thought magath was in talks with Ashley?

Agree0 Disagree0

Laudrup22. Ime with you on this one mate I think once mr king and the three bears win control, then they could ask this guy if he maybe wants in, but I also wonder why a lot of our support would be willing to give a complete unknown outside control of our club, it seems like some never learn right enough eh.

Agree0 Disagree0

George123. some bears will take any1 apart from present board. totaly understand this, but sarver has walked into middle of a war, where he won't get control. personaly I think he has just mudded the water at moment. by all means we would be grateful for his cash, only when those clowns who have a cheek to call themselves directors leave. which I think will be sooner rather than later.

Agree0 Disagree0

Laylex think about it if he was taling to king he would not need to buy shares they would buy them ashley can't directly buy anymore so who do u think he is talking to

Agree0 Disagree0

Laudrup22. Yes mate in complete agreement, spanner in the works, if you see any of my posts, you would see I've been saying the same, since the stranger threw his hat in the ring, it will be interesting to see if the stranger is still shown interest, once the three bears and mr king win the power to run our club eh.
