what is it about some of our supporters that they think its right to have a go at our past manager and his team WHAT THE F**K they took us to our league win we all dreamed of and left us to pastures new that's what happens in football gerrard and his team gave us what we dreamed of and lifted a huge weight off our sholders stopped terry monrow i don't post very much but for christ sake we r in a better place now just get over your selvs.

tbf it's a misnomer. He was signed to win 55, and stop 8IAR. It took 3 years and the Terry Munro thing happened because he'd taken so long. Easily forgotten they'd have not been in that position if he'd delivered quicker.

2.) 17 Dec 2021 22:45:51
Great post and 100% on the button, look forward to your next post omated.

3.) 17 Dec 2021 23:21:18
Exactly. I certainly am grateful for what they have given us back. Things are looking good under Gio but let's not forget what the previous management achieved.

4.) 18 Dec 2021 00:24:28
I was certainly happy with the 55th title and stopping 10iar.

Would some more trophies have been nice? Of course they would but considering the situation we were in and how he turned it around plus gave us a bit of Mojo in Europe. I’ll always be thankful.

Good luck for the future and all the best to Stevie G and crew.

WATP 🇬🇧.

5.) 18 Dec 2021 01:05:56
Stevie G and his crew gave our club back its dignity. Everything else is irrelevant.

6.) 18 Dec 2021 01:07:59
Wish them all the best. Gutted how it ended tbh, but that's life. End of the day Gerrard's family were miles away. Would like to have seen Mcalister and Beale stay on, but more than happy with those who have been appointed. Move on and improve 🔴⚪🔵.

7.) 18 Dec 2021 03:18:27
Wait your allowed to praise him all you want but we aren’t allowed to criticise him? How’s that fair? How about stop telling people what they can and can’t do, **** Gerrard and his whole team left us in the middle of the night right before the biggest game of the season rat.

8.) 18 Dec 2021 06:12:12
Kind of in the middle 😂 Gerrard was good for us but for me not qualify for champions league made him go down in my opinion cost us nearly 40 million people seem to forget that fact to soon he stopped 10 in a row and for that I thank him and the team but we need to constantly moving forward and getting better that stalled under Gerrard it was clear to see.

9.) 18 Dec 2021 06:57:20
Aye very good. We stuck with him and showed loyalty, then he wins a trophy and wants to leave. He should have left in the summer. Scott arfield has came out and said that he's glad he's gone because things weren't the same and the manager didn't have the desire anymore. We need full commitment. The worst part was he was on the train to meet purslow and was posting pictures to court the villa fans not caring that there are much more rangers fans out there watching. I'm glad he's gone. I remember Paul86 saying about a month before he thought it was over and wanting him gone, I said then it was like the last few days if advocaat where the team overplayed their football but this team weren't trying to be too technical they were rudderless as the management didn't care and it's proven in the work gio did within a week with the same players. If gio was in would we have been beaten by Malmö and if not then that is a sickner. WATP 🇬🇧.

10.) 18 Dec 2021 07:24:12
Hends I am with you on the praise and criticism.

John do you know what Mr Beale was meaning at the end of the tweet to the rangers fan or was that just mischievous?

11.) 18 Dec 2021 08:38:37
The only thing Gerrard did wrong was not call a press conference to thank everyone at the club for giving him the greatest privilege in football. What he and his team did for our club will always be remembered but he tarnished his relationship with our club by grabbing his bag and running down south. Most of us get it, away from a young family is tough going. I was gutted but looking at this team now with smiles and enjoying football again it was best thing to happen.

12.) 18 Dec 2021 08:44:30
Sutton Lennon debacle. Storm.

13.) 18 Dec 2021 08:45:57
Totally agree Omated, I, for one, have nothing but praise for SG in winning our title and assembling such a good squad.

14.) 18 Dec 2021 09:05:34
more worrying for me is the michael Beale comment - 'you don't know half of what went on'?

15.) 18 Dec 2021 10:59:43
Got plenty of praise moated, but he did the dirty on us the way he left, remember this was the guy who said he would never do a Brenda Rodgers and leave in middle of season. We should just stop talking about him all together tho, as he is in the past and totally irrelevant now.

16.) 18 Dec 2021 11:05:02
People pay there money into the club so are entitled to there opinion on SG leaving . For me it was just the way he did it via the back door . i'm actually glad he went as u could see there was something not right within the dressing room which i think would have cost us the title this year . i'm grateful and will never forget him stopping the ten but I've moved on and feel we're in a better place now with GIO .

17.) 18 Dec 2021 11:23:06
I'm the same as most others in that I like to reflect on the disaster that Steven inherited and the wonderful league title he won and brilliant squad he left. Also, don't forget the value of the squad then as against now and the net spend to assemble it. Tbh I thought this hatred would have died down by now, especially given the start Gio has made. I suppose at the end of the day we are no different from the other mob, though we say we are nothing like them. Go ahead and check the parallels - Brendan and Steven.

18.) 18 Dec 2021 17:48:43
Too many are ungrateful, never satisfied and living in the past on here. We were terrible before Gerard arrived. He stopped Celtic in 3 years with minimum spending considering what was being spent elsewhere. He’s gone and we are in a much better place. We sit top of the table with a quality squad. We have learned not everyone is sincere or keep their word. Is that really a surprise? Move on an enjoy GVB and our new adventure.

19.) 18 Dec 2021 18:08:50
At the end of the day that’s how football works as we used Gerrard and he used us! I was a little biter how it ended but that’s football and all the best to Steve ✌️🇬🇧.

20.) 19 Dec 2021 03:04:17
Anyone judging Steven Gerrard please look at where he started, they won the league by 20 points and he flipped that to making us invincibles last season. While they spent more than us every transfer window might I add. Stevie G is a club legend guided by Sir Walter.

21.) 19 Dec 2021 07:30:56
Correct Yately01 that's how football works pal and the timing will never please all🤔Gerrard done his job and is confined to our archives now and i'm very grateful for what he brought us, but let's all look forward, as it's all about gio now 👍.

22.) 19 Dec 2021 08:12:32
Yately did they spend more than us every transfer window SG was here Am not getting at you am asking because I really don’t know?

And what about Titan 😓 gutted.

23.) 19 Dec 2021 13:15:19
In hindsight, he picked the correct time to leave. His team were becoming stale and players didn't appear to be giving 100% for him. Sorry we lost Beale since I always felt that he was the guy that had the tactical nouce. Gerrard was the figurehead and that was massive for us. Delighted that McAllister didn't stay, I reckon that it has worked out better for us the ways things have gone.

this is just my opinion i for 1 don't want to see ross barkley join us he hasn't played for the last 2 seasons he has lost his mo joe and we canot afford another ramsey and could we really pay his wages me personally i think we should bleed some of our younger players b4 we look at someone who has lost his way.

omated

1.) 29 Aug 2022 22:42:53
He's far from being another ramsey. He's not injury prone for a start.

2.) 30 Aug 2022 05:02:35
Ross Barkley is a very talented attacking midfielder but has a poor attitude so that would be my concern ?.

3.) 30 Aug 2022 05:53:13
He would never have considered coming up here previously.
Another pension pot needing topped up?
Move on cheaper better younger players out there.

16 Aug 2022 22:20:33
what a game we rode our luck and were unlucky at the same time stand out players for me were lundstrum davis and laurence the rest all played well tilemans run outa steam butwill b a player 4 me mc laughlin stoped a cert upwards an onwards W A T P.

omated

1.) 16 Aug 2022 23:09:11
I thought Colak Lundstram Kent Tavernier Mclaughlin played good, Lawrence and Sands very good, but they will all have to be better next week though, Tillman was average tonight but i think he is a player, very evenly balanced game,6 or 7 play very good next Wednesday we will be in the cl, i will be at the game watched Rangers a fews times overseas and have never seen them lose hoping it remains the same.

2.) 16 Aug 2022 23:55:19
Gvb thot lunny was well below par myself.

3.) 17 Aug 2022 00:12:48
That's because he normally very good but I thought he was good tonight.

4.) 17 Aug 2022 08:58:31
Lundstram was terrible last night. I honestly think people watch games differently. He was one of a few players at fault for the goals.

5.) 17 Aug 2022 10:58:52
Dothebouncy you don't think he played good I do okay.

30 Jul 2022 08:55:22
we blues welcome the new season today. all we ask of our team is for 90 mins per match we give 100% and see where that takes us. hopefully better than last season in rangers we trust.

omated

1.) 30 Jul 2022 10:52:04
Onated I would take a European final every season over anything . so I would say as good as last season.

2.) 30 Jul 2022 11:21:44
To win it would be better tho Mols mate.

23 Jun 2022 00:21:35
sweep
billy gilmore could not wait too leave us so why would we be giving him the time of day be4 one of our own young players i just cannot fathom out your thoughts.

omated

1.) 23 Jun 2022 05:47:34
That’s a little strong omated’could wait to leave us’ you’d think he’d signed with Sunderland of somebody. He got the chance to move to a top 4 EPL team on more money than he’d be on at Rangers by the time he was 30. Good luck to the lad, he’s welcome back anytime. As is Wilson.

2.) 23 Jun 2022 08:12:45
Agreed dado, people need to remember it's a career. If any of us on here were offered a 10x your current salary payrise we would all be off as well let's not kid ourselves.

3.) 23 Jun 2022 08:34:25
To be fair to Billy he went for far bigger wage as we all would. To a much better academy and trained and played with much better players. Rangers sadly have a terrible record for youth development while Chelsea now in recent years have an excellent one if not for themselves at least for other prem and European clubs. Apart from being a fan why would he have stayed? This is the 1st season I've been hopeful of kids getting a chance but still don't know if they will.

4.) 23 Jun 2022 09:36:08
It’s the old “is £3000 a week not enough for him, I’d play all my days at Rangers for that! ”, because they’re not in the position to make that decision. Put them in that position then offer them 10 times that to play in a better league and their answer would be different. I’ll never slate any player leaving due to vastly increased wages and playing in a better league.

5.) 23 Jun 2022 10:07:58
He also has a champions league medal already I would have him back!

6.) 23 Jun 2022 10:48:01
Only thing that really matters is does he make us better? Imo he's better than what we have and would boss it up here. He's now at stage needs 1st team football.

7.) 23 Jun 2022 12:01:11
What's your thoughts on Stevie Davis and McGregor playing then? They left the club in worse circumstances than Gilmour. I think Billy Gilmour would run amok up here and would be one of the best players in the league.

8.) 23 Jun 2022 14:53:10
Think he would be the best mate, no doubt in my mind.

Tj i think that you are wrong that's my opinion getting 2 young players with potential are better than any loan signings. everyone thinks that they no better than the management M B is just in the door unbeaten so far let's just be glad that at last we have a backroom staff that wants to take us forward. too many posters on here that seem to no far better than than our management team.
