Martin Odegaard has been linked with Rangers, Derby County, Aston Villa and QPR.

His wages are reported to be 40K a week, I'm assuming Real pay a substantial part of that considering he was at Heerenveen last year.

Apparently he wants to work with either Lampard or Gerrard.

I see Kevin Thomson has criticised GVB for not intervening at half time in the semi-final.

My understanding was because his work visa hasn't been approved yet, he wouldn't be allowed to do anything seen as 'work related' or potentially face problems.

Any thoughts?

They have no shame the Celtic statement on ssn more or less says they are the best for a reason and they are worthy winners. Yet a lot of football was still to be played if rangers had won the old firm games and game in hand you never know. Celtic are a disgrace and the SPFL totally corrupt. We should pursue getting our 12 trophy wins during WW2 reinstated, after all Celtic's WWI league wins are counted. I think some people need to seriously calm down around the result. I wasn't at the game as I live down south now, however, I was home for the Europa League game and his tactics were spot on and the crowd were jubilant at the result.

Yes he got it wrong on the day, but jesus it's one game!

Learn, move on and let's not drop silly points like we did last season against the diddy teams. that's the sign of champions in the waiting, we need to go on a run of results until the next OF game.

In regards to people hammering Jordan Jones, yes that was a stupid tackle but am I the only one that's sort of glad he actually cares? Give me 11 players on that park that care about the club and the result any day, over some players I felt that didn't turn up (Aribo, Ojo) .

We need width to beat Celtic next time and Morelos up front from the start.

Saw Liam Burt has joined Celtic, does this make him the first player to have played for the first team and gone directly from one side to the other?

For instance I know youth players have done this, but to my knowledge never anyone that's played in the 1st XI.

I think from memory, Alfie Conn did similar, maybe he went to England from us and then to them. I feel Tav is suffering from Candeis departure, but that shouldn't be a problem as the training pitch should sort that out. Our problem at present is being too pernickety in the 6 yard box, we also need to start shooting from further out.

We need to play with a least one winger who is direct, Jones should start for me, and let's not be too quick to write off Hastie or Docherty, both good young players, a bit of patience needed here.

irvger, I agree with your comments regarding the 6 yard box/ penalty area, we see other teams shooting from distance and getting results from it, back of the net or tap ins from rebounds. I would love to see our midfielders having a crack from outside the box.

Rsfger, 5 of goals were outside box where they were given 5 yards space and more to turn and make speculative shot because Killie keeper so rotten a shot more than likely to create something whether drop, parry, corner or whatever. Killie played like they all had side bets on at bookies.

My only major concern here is would he get a work permit? Remember Manchester City previously tried to sign Iraqi playmaker Naskhat Akram, who was highly rated after destroying Real Madrid in a pre-season friendly. Couldn't get it through as Iraq weren't in the Top 100 FIFA Rankings I believe. Anyone know if they are now?

I would assume he will end up in the Saudi or UAE League, where any decent Middle Eastern player ends up as huge money to be made for them there.
