Lot's of negativity and doubt at the moment as we close our pre season but let's not forget these games are to get minutes in legs. Pretty sure we beat Real Madrid a few years ago but and yet Celtic still won the league and Real obviously didn't let their defeat to us get to them as they went on to win La Liga that year. Next weekend we begin and let's reserve judgement on the players until we have some competitive games behind us. Many didn't want Lawrence anywhere near our squad but he was one of the strongest players at the start of last season before his injury. Similarly the likes of coulibary, ojo and ejaria were all hero's before 1st of October but look how that panned out. let's see some competitive games and then praise/ scrutinise.
I'm excited for the year ahead and have trust in Beale.

Got away with that tonight but it was like playing with 10 men with Alfie on the park.
I've always been a big fan of his and know he divides opinions on here but if he wants to either remain part of our squad or find another team that will give him what rangers he needs to give more.
Better from Kent, thought Tillman, Sakala and Kamara were better tonight as well although see a few comments on Tillman and Kamara that might disagree.
Another good enough performance from Devine.
Lets see how the next few games go.

Tonight is a real low point. This is the lowest i've felt for a long time about football and the game isn't yet finished. Ryan Jack has held us together this second half so if there is any positive to take from this game it's that. 3 goals could have been many more without greegsy as well. We must respond against Hearts.

Missing Aribo massively, Lundstrum nowhere near as effective as Kamara in the sitting role, Hagi having a bit of a howler. Hopefully some changes 2nd half was expecting much more considering the mess of a week Dundee Utd have had.

If true we could be left with a very unhappy player if we don’t allow him to leave. A lose/ lose situation for us with such an important 6 months ahead. Agree with baxter replacement needed ASAP if he is to go.

Spot on Scotty, there is a player in this young lad and if he can come back for another season prepared now he knows what is required i would be all for it if it suited us financially. let's not forget this is a 19 year old lad that is trying to justify a c. £25m move to a club with the stature of Man Utd. After starting on such a high on his debut reality hit in the next match when he realised what it meant to play for Rangers and he was dreadful in such an intense atmosphere but he showed again towards the end of the season he was capable. I learned and progressed a tonne at that age, hopefully he can too if he returns ??.
