Grezda away to Brest for 1.75m according to the rag that is the sun.

StevieG84

1.) 27 Jul 2019 13:39:02
Good bit of business to A) get rid of him and B) just about get the money back for him. Overall, I think we are nearly there as a team, but think we need to have a settled look going in to the league campaign. We have played some nice stuff, but have also been sloppy. Hopefully we will sharpen up and hit the ground running against Killie. No worries for next Thursday, but I think only having a 2 goal lead will mean we don't muck about with the starting 11 too much, which could potentially be a good thing.

2.) 27 Jul 2019 14:49:23
£1.75m for him! Surely nobody at Brest is that much of a tit?

3.) 27 Jul 2019 14:55:22
Happy to get rid of him
Just need to get rid of Dodoo, Dorrans, Holt etc now
I would still like to be greedy and get another quality player in.

4.) 27 Jul 2019 14:56:04
1.75 million excellent business plus three years salary circa 1.5 million saved.

5.) 27 Jul 2019 15:14:35
Great news👍.

6.) 27 Jul 2019 15:41:48
Yea hope this deal goes, through.

7.) 27 Jul 2019 15:51:42
Grezda? Is that £1.75m or £1.75.Either way good riddance.

8.) 27 Jul 2019 16:47:43
like it gooner

they must be drunk.

9.) 27 Jul 2019 17:01:05
Well when Grezda played against Scotland he was the best player on the park and the commentators said rangers got a bargain. Just do not think he liked ibrox. silly boy . annopertunity of a lifetime.

10.) 27 Jul 2019 18:25:47
Happy Coldo? Unusual.

11.) 27 Jul 2019 18:43:55
Good luck to the guy, whether injuries got the better of him or whether he wasn’t up for the fight I hope he goes on and has a good career.

12.) 27 Jul 2019 19:01:09
Agree zikos. There is player in there.

13.) 27 Jul 2019 20:09:34
We are getting rid of a player I said ages ago wasn't good enough and never would be. Some wanted to give him another chance😕. So yes ibrox I am happy because he isn't getting another chance and we are getting our money back. I take it by your daft post you wanted to give him another chance🤦‍♂️👍.

14.) 27 Jul 2019 21:07:08
He was not up for the Scottish game, good deal for us.

15.) 27 Jul 2019 21:18:29
I agree Coldo He was a player I didn't rate and could not see doing any better if given another chance!

Dont think he was able to hack the physicality of our game! There is a player there but certainly not at Rangers 👍 Now time for to get something for Dodoo and Holt and that's job done for for deadwood!

Hopefully get a striker in at ibrox with some aerial power as I think we lack that upfront That will certainly give us more dynamics and Kent would be the icing on the cake.

16.) 27 Jul 2019 21:49:57
Kaz Dorrans will go as well plus two or three on loan.

17.) 27 Jul 2019 21:50:29
I was thinking earlier kaz when I read that grezda was away, who else we still had to get rid of. Is that it then just holt and dodoo? I thought dorrans was for the exit aswell.

18.) 27 Jul 2019 22:05:09
Coldo. I wrote in June about a number of moves, some very predictable,
I reckon from my list still Holt, Dorrans and Dodoo.
Couple young boys out on loan.
Also said Murphy Hastie and Polster for game time, mb sell Halliday
This was to free wages for three marquee signings, I had no names apart from Kent 5.5m
I would say Helander one of the three, I was told we would sign a right sided player, not sure if this required with ojo there.

19.) 27 Jul 2019 23:45:10
Kent is must for me john, would be class if we got him again. Hope you're right. 👍.

20.) 27 Jul 2019 23:27:09
i hope we at least put a sell on fee in there. look at pepe he was terrible and 1 good year and 70 odd million football has gone crazy seriously look at pepes past record apart from last season he is never a 70 million player. if you look at all the best strikers they have a one goal in two no matter which team they played for.

21.) 27 Jul 2019 23:58:11
I don't get the anomisity towards a player that played for Rangers, scored a few goals but didn't quite cut it.

He didn't take photos of his tadger, batter his missus, watch porn whilst in a public place whilst on club duty, give the entire nation the vicky whilst on international duty like some of the so called "Legends".

He just didn't cut it - I wish him the best of luck and hopefully he can go on use the experience he gained at the club and have a really good career. Personally think he is more technically gifted than a lot of the current squad, just didn't have the physicality and pace that SG wants.

22.) 28 Jul 2019 13:55:23
@zikos - 100% agree with you. Not every signing works out for a variety of reasons. And it should be a case of thanks and best wishes for the future.
The East Enders are already turning on one of their own ( Tierney ) because he wants to test himself at a higher level.
Let's not lower ourselves to their level when one of our players isn't good enough👍.

Reports in the Croatian media started circulating last week that we are interested in Amer Gojak from Dinamo Zagreb. We had scouts at the Croatian super cup game which he scored in, but not sure how much truth there is in the fact we were specifically watching him. From what I've read on the guy, could be the number 10 that we've been needing.

StevieG84

1.) 16 Jul 2019 08:42:52
Stats look pretty weak in a poorish league . Doubt he would be any better at number 10 than Aribo could be . And for the kind of money they’ll want definitely not worth it in my opinion. Need striking options especially if Morelos leaves. We’ve got midfielders coming out of our ears right now as is, need to move Dorrans and Holt on and then we will still have jack Arfield Kamara Davis Aribo and Docherty, fighting for 3 places at best.

2.) 17 Jul 2019 00:48:00
Stats don’t mean anything tho. Look at Kent his stats weren’t the greatest but could still be a match winner. Sevilla in for Gojak as well.

09 Jul 2019 11:51:12
Heard we are looking at central defender Simon Deli from slavia Prague. Ivory coast international, 27 year old. Other than that, don't know anything about the guy.

StevieG84

1.) 09 Jul 2019 12:05:16
Daily Record?

2.) 09 Jul 2019 12:17:58
Stevie g. In all the papers.

3.) 09 Jul 2019 12:34:10
£1.8 million release clause. i'd say go for it. Slavia prague done quite well last year in the europa league.

4.) 09 Jul 2019 13:47:15
Transfermarkt has him valued at €4.5M. If there’s any truth in the rumour then you’d have to assume he’s been properly scouted. Time will tell.

5.) 09 Jul 2019 22:01:31
Don't know if this is true but I read he was picked up at Brussels airport today so might me joining club brugges.

6.) 09 Jul 2019 22:49:24
Gerrard has said deal for defender is close. Not deli according to manager.

7.) 09 Jul 2019 22:58:54
Just seen that Gerrard has said there's no truth in this, but we're in talks to sign a defender and the gaffer is hoping it's done by the end of the week. Will be a permanent signing.

8.) 09 Jul 2019 23:00:21
Simon deli is signing for club brugge guys.

9.) 09 Jul 2019 23:29:41
Stevie g stated that it was not this guy that we are close to signing but that were are close to signing a defender. its got to be martin skrtel.

10.) 10 Jul 2019 00:07:31
Looks a cracking player.

11.) 10 Jul 2019 00:13:53
He’s got a 2.5 million release clause. Johnny August.

12.) 10 Jul 2019 00:18:44
Hodaintegra He’s not going to come out and say “we are signing this player”. It’s all kept quiet.

13.) 10 Jul 2019 07:56:35
Simon Deli would be a perfect fit for Rangers If the player hadn't had so many injuries he would've been at a bigger club than Slavia Prague and Rangers are that

On his day, he would be our best centre back Ideally, we need cover at the back and he can give that in abundance To play him in 20-30 games a Season would be best but if he's injury free there is a good chance he will steal that off of Katic or Goldson (whoever isn't as consistent) That's what its all about having competition for place and playing the best

Get him in for the 1.7m He will be on wages of between 7-10k a week!

06 Jul 2019 15:08:16
According to 4lads had a dream, there is an option to buy on McCrories loan, but, there's no set price and it's all down to if rangers want to sell. Hopefully true.

StevieG84

1.) 06 Jul 2019 15:48:33
There's absolutely NO panic here regarding ross mccrorie going to be definitely sold to pompey, once his year long loan deal is up. It will only be if steven gerrard wants to sell him, that portsmouth will be given first option, to buy young mccrorie. Supporters are needlessly panicking and getting away ahead of themselves here. If he does the business down at fratton park, there's no way stevie G will sell him. I think its a cracking decision by gerrard by sending him out on loan. I can only see the positives and a big win win for everyone concerned. let's relax and wait and see how this pans out, before jumping to any conclusions.

2.) 06 Jul 2019 16:06:25
It’s true, the loan deal has a clause that if rangers want to sell at the end of the loan Portsmouth have first option to buy. Other clauses include that they have to be in Championship for first option to buy. But at a price rangers decide next summer is value. If Portsmouth stay in league 1 then they have the right to match any other offers. Other news is Dorrans might get another chance, he played today behind closed doors and begged for a chance to prove his worth. Murphy also played today in the view to give an extra day rest before the Europa league match.

3.) 06 Jul 2019 17:52:24
Coop, i think we all know there is no panic regarding McCrorie, we are all intelligent enough to realise the loan deal. In Gerrard we trust. We are the people.

4.) 06 Jul 2019 18:08:44
I for one am liking the excitement that the Pompey fans are showing over McCrorrie shows we are producing good player for the Hummel TC. This will bring him on so much.

5.) 06 Jul 2019 18:25:18
Much as I like McCrorrie as a player and hope he has a good year at Portsmouth and returns to us a better player, the development of young players at ours or any other club is always very difficult. Every year we hope that one of our becomes the next Ian Durant or Barry Ferguson. The truth is it takes players of that quality to get into a Rangers team with consistency. McCrorrie is not in that league but hope he can prove me wrong.

6.) 06 Jul 2019 18:42:35
the player would also have to agree any move

he’ll be back in sure with experience of playing every wk in
a tough league and will be better for it

and better for us.

7.) 06 Jul 2019 18:44:40
The stuck, no we're NOT all thinking there's no panic on mccrorie's loan deal. Have you actually read the comments on here regarding mccrorie?
I can assure you there's an element of panic amongst some, that think he's already away for good.

8.) 06 Jul 2019 19:01:34
Thankfully we've got you coop. Too be the voice of calm and reason.

9.) 06 Jul 2019 19:25:15
SG l everyone is entitled to have their view, u use the word panic others r concerned. We r entitled to be.
U believe only u r correct, , we are all wrong most off the time. That's why it's a rumour site.
In 2017 u said the boy would captain rangers, play hundreds of games and captain Scotland.

10.) 06 Jul 2019 20:12:13
That might still happen john25!

11.) 06 Jul 2019 21:36:09
Just go to the Rangers site and read.

12.) 06 Jul 2019 21:40:47
I ain’t panicking to be honest hope the boy proves me wrong but he ain’t a defender and as DM we have much better already don’t rate him highly at all but as I said hope he proves me wrong.

13.) 06 Jul 2019 22:51:43
Mcrorie was an absolute rock last season when our results started to waiver. Reckon we should have kept him as imo he'd be in or around first 11 every week.

14.) 07 Jul 2019 00:49:54
No panic, poor comment, we all know McCrorie needs 40plus games which he cannot get here this season but the fact remains that a slight majority or more feel that the lad is being both undervalued and underestimated by the management here, guys like McCrorie should be here far longer than the management team will be and if he goes down there and rips it up in a division where Aribo has just had a decent season at best then I expect the same red carpet rolled out upon his return. Obviously The challenge is his and I expect him to follow through however i stand by the comment that we should not be agreeing options to bury on any of our development prospects.

15.) 07 Jul 2019 01:17:30
It's not 4lads, it's Chris Jack! They even confirmed he's the source - a journo!

16.) 07 Jul 2019 15:29:35
Personally I don’t think we should be loaning squad players to the English third tier for development. If it’s purely for game time and fitness then fine but not to bring them on technically. I watched a few league 1 games last year and the standard is extremely poor with most teams bypassing midfield, I seriously doubt McCrorie will come back any better than he currently is.

I think it works well with boys like Rossiter than needs a run of games to build fitness but he won’t have come back any better than when he left.

I've seen the manager is saying they'll be looking to sign a bit of magic in the transfer window to help us push on and get to that next level. He even mentioned a "marquee" signing. So what I'm asking is, realistically, who do you think we could get in that would match the "magic" or "marquee" signing? Be realistic, no one wants to see people saying we'll be signing Neymar.

StevieG84

1.) 16 Mar 2019 11:50:47
A marquee signing IMHO is someone who has proven ability, free of injuries and is well regarded by his peers, with a value of around £10 million - so in saying that, that rules out anyone from the English Premiership, and most teams in the top end of the English Championship - unless he is going for an expensive (loan) marquee signing.

2.) 16 Mar 2019 11:58:44
Stevie g84, I think we will see four players at 3 to 5 million
A CH, maybe jake cooper
Guy from Portugal, name escapes me been linked couple of times he is Croatian I think, with Madeira!
A striker and top right winger
Also I want to see mccrorie. Houston, Kelly and rudden added to first team squad on a regular basis.

3.) 16 Mar 2019 12:04:13
The boy Paul Daniels is getting rave reviews and is available.

4.) 16 Mar 2019 12:45:18
Jboy21? - none of them you mentioned are marquee signings, by a country mile.

5.) 16 Mar 2019 12:55:27
Definition of the term, 'marquee signing'

A marquee player is an athlete who is considered exceptionally popular, skilled, or otherwise outstanding, especially in professional sports. Several sports leagues have specific definitions and rules regarding the designation and treatment of marquee players.

6.) 16 Mar 2019 13:43:10
Take it Paul Daniels will be available for 'not a lot'.

7.) 16 Mar 2019 14:11:18
Now that's magic.

8.) 16 Mar 2019 14:29:08
Tricky winger, wand of a left foot.

9.) 16 Mar 2019 15:00:42
paul daniels would be a right rabbit out the hat.

10.) 16 Mar 2019 18:50:47
Tend to agree true blue, but we can't afford true marquee signings.

17 Feb 2019 12:43:29
Looking for opinion rather than anything else. With us unlikely to sign Kent on a permanent, does anyone think we should maybe go for young Hastie from Motherwell? Jones would play on the left, and I think Hastie could be a long term replacement for the aging Candieas.

StevieG84

1.) 17 Feb 2019 12:57:25
Cracking young player, will only get better, there’s no point in bringing in young players if they won’t play though, I’d take a punt on him to become a top player!

2.) 17 Feb 2019 13:03:52
With the money we would have to pay i think this could be better spent elsewhere as Middleton and kent have the ruffly the same goals and assists this season plus Murphy and Jones can play there.
The young lad Hastie looks good and should be on our radar but we will need to act fast ask clubs already want him.

3.) 17 Feb 2019 13:44:54
Think he is out of contract in the summer.

4.) 17 Feb 2019 19:02:10
Instead of looking to sign other teams youngsters let's give our own a chance. Who knows we might have a player as good as Hastie in our youth teams but we won't know till they get a chance.

5.) 18 Feb 2019 07:35:15
Correct jaws. We have plenty coming through at all age groups.
Mark Allen said we would not buy if we had youth players who could come through
Guys like Dallas rudden Kelly and rob Mccrorie Houston.

@Alexander McCall, did my little bit of incorrect info give you a semi? I apologise for getting the boys nationality wrong, but I'm sticking with him being 15, he plays for the u17s, that doesn't mean he is 17.
