I've refreshed every paper every rumours page sky sports had sky sports news on a large portion of the day hoping for good news after good news ?? 25 minutes left will there be any more in?
I really hope so, of the ones we've been linked with today our starting team on paper would definetly be a lot better than what we've seen the last 2 years if the players have the right attituded it might actually be a season we can compete a lot more than i was thinking we would hats off to koppen if it all goes through. i see cantwell is blabbing on about how he's different and that's why he failed up here ?? nah mate your attitude is appaling.

If we make 1 signing today i could see clement walking away from his position. The window as a whole hasn't been the best but to be made to look like a lier might be a step to far for phil.
Said just a few days ago there will be more incoming than outgoing but so far its davies out Wright out Cantwell just about out and not one single player in as of yet ? if we even sign only the dutch boy the manager is going to be very angry and will have been let down massively.

If no one else is signed we are an injury or 2 away from playing kids all over the park ? he said more incoming than out going. If we start losing game after game and dropping points he will be hounded out regardless. I just feel he knows this and knows the squad isn't what it needs to be so may jump before being pushed. glad some people know how to debate on here others just instantly start being very rude for no particular reason.

This new europa and cl format is going to kill european football. Stupid set up with stupid fixtures. The tried and tested group stage was far better. Teams like us are going to suffer hugely from this set up. And of next season we will be in the confrence league tho so maybe it will get easier for us but i fear for where we are heading right now. we are a million miles away from where we should of been after 55 and the europa final.

Nice positive first post. If we qualify for the champions league it’s better for us if we’re in the europa it makes it tougher. We should be getting into the playoff no matter what the draw is.

Quite a negative view on it in my opinion, tough draw but big games to look forward to, what European football is all about, maybe we will prove some wrong and hold a good account of ourselves, a lot of players left but could be a lot of players heads were elsewhere and was having a bad effect on the squad, the new squad will be raring to go with a few fresh faces and new challenges ahead for some, seen progress at Ross county game so we may well be heading in the right direction, a wee bit of positivity and confidence can go a long way.

I agree about the format, any fair and sensible competition has teams playing each other home and away not some random fixtures . This was brought in to appease the CL clubs who wanted less games against the smaller teams in the groups and more against each other, to make even more money of course and widen the gap. There is no reason that the other two competitions have to be the same, in fact its a selling point if they are different. Can`t understand how we are seeded in Pot 1 and get harder games than the other mob got in the CL where they were seeded in Pot 3 or 4 . We can only see what it ends up like but is seems too complicated to me.

Wsl gers we don't have a harder draw than celtic. Leipzig and dortmund strong sides. Atalanta just won europa hammering leverkusen. And aston villa are also a good side. don't matter which pot your in now u still draw 2 teams fron every pot regardless.

Not too sure how the new set up will work in Europe but will be in a better position to judge at the end of the tournaments. Change is hard to accept sometimes but you need to give it time.

I can see us getting 5 or 6 points as a maximum from they games i genuinly hope i'm wrong but the signings we have made and lack up first 11 ones more to the point give me the fear for this season as a whole. Negative yes but a big win in the league isn't enough to convince me we've turned a corner just yet.

Was watching g a UEFA person explain the reasoning behind the new format, to have more glamour games at the group stages as previously the bigger clubs can have a fairly routine path to the next stage due to the seedings, and the hope is the big clubs from the bigger nations can have more glamour ties and to avoid any temptation of breakaways.
It also allows the lesser clubs to have more games, extra gate income and prize money.

Don't think it matters who we draw against it's going to be a tough campaign. Man utd and spurs are not average as someone said earlier they'll both be too strong for us at this stage we need to bring in as much money as we can the club certainly need it.

5 behind aberdeen aswell. we are going to finish 3rd this season. people said i was an idiot fhe other day for stating we were closer to aberdeen. turns out we aren't as good as aberdeen or celtic ? the rest of you will wake up eventually.
