The silence of messers Hartson and Sutton speaks volumes.

Loving the spirit of this team and we only get better as confidence grows.

All the plaudits for Stevie G and Gary Mac are rightly deserved.

I’ll like to acknowledge the backers and all other bears, who have bought season tickets, fans who attend when they can and those buying strips and hospitality.

It’ll be harder tests ahead but we can move forward with pride.

well said.

2.) 26 Sep 2018 16:49:17
To be fair Sutton has the odd good thing to say about rangers hartson says nothing good about rangers and even said there was no improvement about rangers from last season after Celtic game I hope he eats his words in future he is pure anti rangers.

3.) 28 Sep 2018 01:56:05
That comment was based on the performance of the old firm game and it was accurate. They were all over us.

4.) 28 Sep 2018 16:18:42
If you can't take the views of certain pundits, don't listen to them. I actually think both those guys are two of the better pundits in this country just now, despite their allegiances they are quite fair. Certainly more knowledgeable and more interesting than those clowns on Sportscene.

Decent enough performance. Few errors in terms of wayward passes and positional sense.

Coulibaly looks a grafter, Morelos will take confidence and push on, still needs a dictator in the middle to pick his runs.

Windass was tosh when he came on, thought he would’ve took a chance at trying to shine.

Defence looks good big Connor could be our new Gough.

Feel great about shagger in between the sticks.

Onwards bears.

1.) 27 Jul 2018 02:28:32
Windass is looking to his move away. His heart is clearly set on it and it's obvious. £3M isn't bad for someone who's either great or gash and never in the middle.

2.) 27 Jul 2018 06:01:43
A win a win and away from home in Europe. Onwards and upwards.

3.) 27 Jul 2018 08:28:00
Yip, good win. Overall very happy. Hopefully morelos does push on, took his goal well and to be fair it was a well worked corner. We do miss john's runs, think john and middleton would tear it up down the left. Thought big goldson and katic were immense. How good is it to have mcgregor in goals. Last season we would have lost that game, our defence would have crumbled.

4.) 27 Jul 2018 09:27:36
First time NK Osijek haven’t scored in a home tie in Europe since year 2000- clean sheet for us, impressive and away goal! I’ll take that all day.

5.) 27 Jul 2018 12:39:51
We are the only Scottish club not to have conceded a goal in European competion this week. and all the rest of them played home ties.

6.) 27 Jul 2018 13:34:15
I can't wait to see this team after 5.6 games. when you think they have only played two or three games and some players still to come into the team.

7.) 27 Jul 2018 14:31:21
Sorry are you referring to gers or this lot Osijek after 5-6 games. Agree there is improvement in Gers but unfair to give them timescales. Let's wait and see.

8.) 27 Jul 2018 14:59:27
Millerbranbwilson I mean the GERS of coarse. I can't wait till the league starts. anyone heard when we can get our hands on the new strips.

9.) 27 Jul 2018 20:55:24
What a difference in the professional setup compared to this time last season under Pedro!

10.) 27 Jul 2018 23:03:07
l would let windass go for 3 million but if that is the case l would have a 30% sell on clause . and l don't what the doubters say l would also take big laff. back tomorrow he knows wit the club's about . don't time to settle in piss .

Young Docherty on loan is sensible. The young lad needs games and too start each week, that won’t happen with the midfield Gerrard is bringing together.

Important for his development and future role.

Good luck to him.

Jardine72

1.) 20 Jul 2018 07:44:23
I totally reiterate that, Jardine 72.
I wish our young midfielder greg docherty all the best of luck in his season long loan deal, no matter which english club he signs for! I'll tell you one thing, whoever gets doch on loan, will have a good, young midfielder on their books, with a tremendous professionalism and workrate, about him! Hope when he does come back to his beloved rangers, that there's a space in our midfield for him! Good luck young man!

2.) 20 Jul 2018 08:00:45
good shout jardine

the lad does need games to develop but won’t get them with us as things stand

countless top players have spent time out on loan so no shame in that

i’d rather he was playing every wk and learning than sitting on bench and getting 10mins here and there

he wld come back a better player and cld be an option
nxt season. the lad still has 4yrs left and has something to offer from what i saw last season.

3.) 20 Jul 2018 12:56:42
Good move loaning him south of the border, He will play and develop better than sitting on our bench and if he performs well his valuation will increase significantly.

Big week ahead for us and I’m loving it. Can almost taste Europe after Christmas and we can go top with a victory over hearts. Great strides forward

Big push needed by the lads. Goosebumps already and it’s only Monday.

Jardine72

1.) 26 Nov 2018 08:28:34
Huge week ahead, villareal hearts aberdeen👍.

2.) 26 Nov 2018 11:03:47
3 easy games ☺.

3.) 26 Nov 2018 11:25:25
Hearts biggest game for me always tough place to go don't think this one suits ejaria much rather see jack rossiter and arfield midfield 3.

4.) 26 Nov 2018 12:21:19
agree with you fergie however my guess is that gerrard will go with coulibaly ahead of wee rossiter.

5.) 26 Nov 2018 14:25:47
Great time to get Hearts imo lads. On the recieving end of a right thumping at the hands of a poor St Mirren side and injuries to key players. Aberdeen also, poor at the weekend and one eye on a cup final. I'd expect our result against Villareal will have a factor on our domestic performances, a win midweek and our tails will be up after securing European football after Xmas, the boys will be buzzing.

6.) 26 Nov 2018 17:46:08
J1985 how does a win secure European football after Xmas.

7.) 26 Nov 2018 20:46:03
If we win Thursday and results go our way we're through. All we need to do is avoid defeat in Austria and given our performances away in Europe, out with the Moscow game, there's no reason to not be confident against Vienna in our final game.

11 Nov 2018 19:26:42
Brilliant today. Been saying for weeks someone was due a hammering. Good link up play between forwards, midfield close to strikers when needed, communication all over the park and individual battles one.

I couldn't care that it was ten men for a hefty part, this Well team have milked beating us and out musciling on too many occasions for my liking.

I hope now the team imbeds in and fights like that every game and smashes teams at home, it's our fortress and let's make it the most unhealth of places too visit. Keep this momentum going BEARS.

Onwards.

Far too many jumping on the negativity of the media and demanding players get dropped, it's a chance taking and mistake making sport simple.

Get behind them.

Get the same team out and let them right their wrongs.

Possibly after the start we have had to our euro campaign our expectations became a little too high. We can still quality and I think we will.

We still have a few young, naive at times players, who will find their ground and gain trust as the season unfolds.

With a few more editions come January and perhaps a stronger mature leader, someone in the middle of the park who can snap at those struggling.

I'm hopeful and can't fault effort. It's a big jigsaw and we're adding week by week.

Jardine72

1.) 09 Nov 2018 06:48:39
I think you are wrong, be lucky to get a point out last 2 games.

2.) 09 Nov 2018 07:08:05
Agreed jardine reality check time think back to last year progress niederkorn or even starting out against shkupi did any1 honestly think we would have it in our own hands to qualify with 2 games to go i very much doubt it, yes individual mistakes have been made by manager n players alike but feck me give me this compared to the last 6 years. 🔴⚪🔵.

3.) 09 Nov 2018 08:23:14
Did anybody really, honestly expect us to reach the Europa League group stages this season even after SG was appointed? I certainly didn't. To score 3 goals away from home in Moscow is no mean feat. We need to beat Villareal at Ibrox then go all out in Vienna in the last game. I agree some players are still maturing but surely Jack should be one of the first names on the team sheet? Also, Dorrans and Murphy are out long term and we missed Kent. I'd rather we pick up form in the league now and any further progress in Europe will be a bonus.

4.) 09 Nov 2018 08:34:00
We should have won that game, a fourth goal wrongly chopped off. 4-2 and its a different game. Our defending was comical as was theirs. They were lucky for their fourth goal. Strange game, 3 points dropped👍.

5.) 09 Nov 2018 08:43:41
Thought it was a great game last night and for all our poor attacking play domestically we looked sharp up top, just shows what an open game can look like. Defensive errors cost us anything from the game and I feel that if McAuley is now fit we need to see if he can shore up our leaky defence. Not one player has done enough in central defence to merit being a guaranteed starter so let’s see what an old pro can do against Motherwell. Personally I’d play Katic alongside him and see how they get on. I’d also like to see Rossiter come into midfield and Middleton keep his place.

6.) 09 Nov 2018 10:27:52
Wee bear you are wrong it was a poor game littered with mistakes.

7.) 09 Nov 2018 10:53:34
Sweep1

All depends how Villareal approach the game at Ibrox. If they fancy it then they will win comfortably as for Rapid think we will be doing well to get a point.

8.) 10 Nov 2018 16:17:40
Rossiter could be the difference . defence tired.

25 Oct 2018 23:56:07
Proved tonight why the loan players start.

It’s proven how far we have come, that we’re dissapointed we didn’t beat Spartak.

Onwards bears.

Jardine72

1.) 26 Oct 2018 06:30:46
Thought all our loan players played well, against spartak moscow. Yet again though, ryan kent was the pick of the bunch, for me! Once he drops that shoulder and works those extremely fast feet of his, he's away and skipping past at least 2 defenders, at a time. Kent is so direct and terrific to watch, with edge of your seat football at times! Really do hope, we can get him tied up, to a permanent deal! Thought morelos was good again. His hold up play is excellent and he's a terrific striker to have in the team, as the one loan striker, up top!
He holds off defenders with ease and is as strong as an ox! He's so important to Gerrard's team and what we do, with our style of play! He only had a couple of half chances against spartak though and didn't get what i'd call a right, proper,
striker's chance! We'll miss el buffalo on sunday, against them, but will still beat them, with ryan kent through the middle! Also thought joe worrall, was superb against spartak.

2.) 26 Oct 2018 06:50:56
Grezda got be given time to get up to speed when Kent first played he was ok now he’s outstanding Bristol city fans said he was rotten sure Grezda will come good in time.

3.) 26 Oct 2018 11:07:25
Not sure putting Kent through the middle is the right choice he is better coming in off the wing. It’s a really tough call for who is to play through the centre. Maybe Middleton?

We’re in the mess because of him.

I don’t want him back near the place.

If you think for one minute selling Rangers for £1 was him treating us with a modicum of respect you’re deluded.

It’s honesty, clarity, passion from now on we need. Not those with an ego bigger than his bank balance.

I loved and lived 9 in a row but he jumped ship just like the others that are called rats.

You pay a manager less than your players. You end up with Murty mark 2.

Regardless who it will be, we need to pay top money to get the best availible in our range.

If not, may as well chuck it.

Good post UJ.

Think Katie is just confidence. Tests will come again on the road and we have to maintain these levels over a run of games.

Comforting signs mind you.

Decent enough today, took a few tasty challenges too. Thought he provided an out ball and dropped in behind arfield as he pushed forward. He can be happy with that too.

Big Fod done great as well.
