I can't for the life of me see why we would be going in for another defensive midfielder barton will have that Possition nailed down next season then in his absence crooks will do a job there then also Halliday can cover there and if we do get ball he could cover there so I really don't understand that one.

Out and out midfielder's we have.
Rossiter, Barton, Holt.
Players who can play midfield or defence.
Halliday, Crooks.
Players who don't actually play midfield but a more attacking role such as winger or second striker yet people seem to put them as midfielder.
Windass, Forrester.
In short, we only have 3 actual midfielder's to cover 2 or 3 positions in midfield depending on tactics so stop it with the too many midfielder's talk. We could easily sign 1 or 2 more midfielder's and that would be fine, as long as we still bring in players in other positions which I am quite sure we will be doing. The modern game is all about having depth of squad so we need the cover, especially in midfield.

Agree he is highly rated, just watched a few videos of the boy stands out in what looks like a very poor level of football but does seem to put himself about looks tidy from what I see.

I don't understand all the negative posts regarding the team right now, fair enough we are going through a bad spell but cmon, it's the same when I'm at the games and you've got guys absolutely slating wee Barrie McKay when he tries to beat a player and it doesn't work out, we should be supporting these players not giving them a abuse, it's disgusting. a lot of our fans are stuck in the dark ages, remember the absolute drose we have played for the last 3 seasons then ask yourself what you prefer. Warburton has built this team in 1 transfer window on a very modest budget. We will win the league this season and I think we will still win it comfortably. I trust Warburton 100%.

Fraser 91 at last a supporter that sees the bigger picture 100% agree with you we are a new team with a new manager. we have had a couple of below par performances lately but this is when the team needs our support more than ever. to be the 12th Man. i think that some fans have short memories the 2 defeats this season was more of individual errors than getting played of the park also we have beat the 2 teams in question this season so I don't believe that they are better than us. I also think we will win this league with a bit to spare. lookin forward to mon not dreading it. hibs are getting the rub of the green just now but over a season it balances its self out. They are not bayern Munich as some on here would have us believeing and will make it all the more sweeter to beat them on mon to hear there manager afterwords as I think he lacks some dignity and can't hide his loath of our club he can't even say the word Rangers. So let's give the team our full backin there's no need to panic. as our greatest manager said let the others come after us we welcome the chase.
{Ed001's Note - Stubbs doesn't loathe Rangers at all, it is just a way of getting the crowd and team behind him by doing that kind of thing. It works as well, which is the sad part.}

I shout from the club deck - do not think any player can here me. Anyway what I was shouting today was the tackles from the Livingston players - absolutely shocking so they were. Livingston turned uo not wanting to play football.

Honestly how many of the boys will actually make the break through to playing elite senior football, if your lucky maybe one or two. Don't put pressure on these kids, it doesn't work, just look at how many of our under 29s have made the jump, and we ran away with that league for years.

I would just like to congratulate Rangers Youth on another fantastic win this time 5-0 against a full strength Arbroath team. Now we have always had good youth teams but the problem has always been getting them to make the big step up to the first team. I hope that MW can be the man to finally acheive this and get the youth lads to their full potential. I remember listening to talksport a few months back and they had a guy on talking about Rangers, he was saying that he has watched youth sides from all over Britain but the Rangers 14s - 16s were the best he had ever seen. All is looking good, never been so excited for a new season to begin in a long time

I don't think either Wilson or Kiernan deserve the critisism they receive tbh. They system we play leaves them both badly exposed. I hope we stick with them as a partnership, RK was solid against Celtic and DW distribution from the back is class. Both at a great age for CBs with plenty of improvement left in them.

I don't think Warburton rates Murdoch which is a shame because I think he plays the DM role very well. Whenever he played last season he did a terrific job of covering the full back positions when they attacked, something which we could be doing with now.

Your ignorance is laughable.
Did you on any occasion watch Brentford last season? They played very attractive attacking football under Warburton and Weir and got within touching distance of the Premiership.
Warburton has gotten into football management via a very unorthodox route but he is very talented and is a great appointment for rangers
