I posted last week about Alfie and Kenty and got the usual " don't talk nonsense" that they both leave if we do not qualify for ECL. They both have contracts offered by us and will be signed if we qualify. If we do not they want to move on.
Alfie never got on against PSV as he keeps changing his mind with the offer we have on the table for him, Gio thinks him and agent are messing club about and pissing Gio off. Alfie wants to play in Spain and he has now made that clear. No bid has been received however his agent has done a deal blind side.

Kent needs to start showing his worth then, it works both ways imo. He only deserves a new contract IF he helps us get into the CL group stage. What I've been told is that Kent signing is a given and he's not seen as wanting to leave hence why he's not been offered around to leave so no rush in signing new deal
With Alfie there's a mutual agreement that if a suitable offer is made we will let him leave if a replacement is brought in as well if and If not he's happy to stay and will sign on with a new deal.
Kamara I'm told is wanting away and could be sold and replaced by the end of the window.

Interestingly enough, if you're that way inclined, players like Ronaldo have their image rights tied up to the point that the majority of the additional income they generate for clubs goes in to their own pockets.
That said, he'd certainly raise the profile of our club. so much so that I bet even the SPFL would happily renege on the Cinch deal to get back in bed with us. but maybe not enough for the other half of Glasgow to mention the Old Firm.
