For me zungu hasn't shown enough to be offered a permanent move, I'd rather we looked elsewhere for for a box to box midfielder ie lundstrum it may be a bit harsh on the lad as he's having to try and impress off the bench but he's not doing it for me lads thoughts?

Bluebear1872

1.) 10 Jan 2021 21:46:58
He's not trying to impress coming off the bench. He's trying to impress everyday in training and obviously not impressing very much or he would be getting started. Still time yet for him but it's running out fast. Judging him now from the games he's played then no I wouldn't think he's worth the fee but who knows in future he might come good but he better be quick if he wants a permanent move.

2.) 10 Jan 2021 22:00:22
Blue bear- did Zungus team not renew his contract just before he came on loan to us in the hope that we'd fork out around 2 million for him if all went well. Havent seen enough of him to judge but can't see Rangers forking out that amount for him.

3.) 10 Jan 2021 22:03:07
If zunga was seen good enough Davis, aribo or Kamara would be getting a break which isn't happening, that tells me what SG thinks of him.

4.) 10 Jan 2021 23:01:28
I thought he did well when he came om. Won headers and put himself about. Just my opinion.

5.) 10 Jan 2021 23:34:29
Feel sorry for zungu. He looked bloody good first game, won tackles and great passing. Maybe needs a season like most of our recent signings.

6.) 10 Jan 2021 23:59:08
Agreed. zungu ain't a ger in my eyes send him back and get a better player.

7.) 11 Jan 2021 08:23:26
Pretty sure if SG had written the boy off he would not be on the pitch - Bassey could have held the line in midfield.

He’ll be here next season so you better start supporting the guy.

8.) 11 Jan 2021 08:45:50
Do you think so DK? I'm not so sure he will be. If his recent performances are anything to go by then why would we fork out decent money for him.? 👍.

Was listening to super score board and Tony the tim from Grangemouth says they will still win the league and apparently we aren't even a good team😅 one of our own a Andy halliday put him in his place though. Now I'm not making comment on us winning the league as its one game at a time from our view but to say we aren't a good team they are losing the plot. Looking forward to another Sunday funday.

He's obviously related too or a close friend of leigh Griffiths.
I don't listen scoreboard but there's loads of clips on you tube and it's a wee bit addictive listening to them all moaning about everything celtic. Lots of them threatening to not renew their tickets, buy merchandise etc until there's a new board in place.
A club like no other 😄🤣🤡.

Just for kicks Who is everyone's favourite current player and why? I'll start- Scotty arfield is my choice due to his desire to win and keep the Jersey, he has been immense this season and is chipping in with goals you can see how much playing for rangers means to the wee guy.

Bluebear1872

1.) 06 Dec 2020 09:38:18
I agree, Scotty Arfield has shown he is a real threat in the opposition box this season, along with Ryan Jack, he is Mr Consistency.

2.) 06 Dec 2020 09:51:33
I've been waxing lyrical about Scotty Arfield since he got back into the team. The guy has been immense this season, and his desire and passion for the team should be the benchmark for all of our players!

3.) 06 Dec 2020 10:01:15
Hard to choose right now. Glen Kamara might shade it for me though. He is a fantastic player.

4.) 06 Dec 2020 10:05:38
Arfield has been great, I agree, but I choose Tavernier not just because he has scored 15 goals and is the captain but has come back from criticism in the past to be potentially our player of the season! He has really answered his critics.

5.) 06 Dec 2020 10:13:40
Jack or borna for me.

6.) 06 Dec 2020 10:36:05
Kamara and barasic for me.

Tho the person that has impressed me the most this season and I have been one of his biggest critics is tav.

7.) 06 Dec 2020 10:45:16
Tav all day long.

8.) 06 Dec 2020 10:55:18
Jack, Kamara and Arfield at the moment with a wee shout out for the duracell bunny!

9.) 06 Dec 2020 11:00:46
When everyone is at there best. Buff and Kent. At the minute Kamara.

10.) 06 Dec 2020 11:11:35
Conner gods son for me the big man has been brill like Tav.

11.) 06 Dec 2020 11:56:29
Said on here yesterday that arfield is my favourite player he’s got that hunger and desire and that wee bit swagger that I like.

12.) 06 Dec 2020 12:26:26
Tav by a distance amazing season so far.

13.) 06 Dec 2020 13:22:53
All our players have been superb this season and a mention without a doubt to steven gerrard and his terrific management team 👍The manager is the most important ingredient in any successful team and i firmly believe and have always stated he'll be a fantastic manager for rangers 👌Choosing one particular player is very difficult and agree with many above the scotty arfield has been outstanding for us this season like defoe, mcgregor and davo who are role models and the more senior players within our squad, which shouldn't be overlooked and is mightly important. But if i have to choose one player, its ryan kent for me guys! Even when not at his best his workrate off the ball and skills are detrimental to how gerrard wants our team to play. He'd be the hardest to replace if we sold him IMHO! He's the most skillful player rangers have and his numbers are superb this season 👌He drags players all over the place and out of their comfort zone, which of course allows space for his teammates! He's a special footballer of that i've no doubt 👌On his A game he's unplayable!

Bears its getting to that point of the day where all I can think about at work is getting home to watch the famous Glasgow rangers qualify with a beer in hand and a wry smile at the continued demise of Lurgan flopp and the rest of the tiny tims. 🔴⚪🔵.

That's what we are going to be up against all season lads teams happy to play for a point. I agree could have gone 3-5-2 hopefully learn from this today. Another tricky fixture for us with Kilmarnock surely roofe gets a start and fingers crossed balogun and aribo are back we missed they guys today massively.

Bluebear1872

1.) 16 Aug 2020 21:02:01
Roofe certainly looked more mobile than Morelos but that's not saying much as the more frustrated he gets during a game the more static he becomes.

Poor result today but there were always going to be slip-ups, we'll have them and Celtic will have them too. Insane that some so called fans seem to be throwing in the towel already.

2.) 16 Aug 2020 21:15:01
Geromimo

It’s not about throwing in the towel it’s about what is played in front of us

Can you tell me how he will learn from this?

Why hasn’t he learned from past 2 seasons?

Pressure on to put points on board put pressure on Celtic we fold as usual say it again as usual

Don’t know what else you want me to think we have seen it the last 2 seasons now
This season was supposed to be different 4 games in point lost already

We have spent millions - compared the rest of the teams in the league bar Celtic

Let’s just have the same financial constraints as the rest 5-800 k budget and we will accept today’s results

How about it?

My mates a sheep fan and says wright is injury prone but when fit he is the best footballer at Aberdeen, he doesn't rate hedges as someone has said here he a bit like barker rapid but runs out of ideas and ferguson by his own admission is nowhere near the player Ryan jack was when we signed him from them.

Paul86. They seemingly bid 5 mill for Toney but it’s been thrown out other bids are near 6.5m with add ins included they have also been thrown out apparently, I think Peterborough are holding out for around 8m which is way over valuation.

You know it just shows what most of out support is like 👏 well done guys morals and humanity amongst the last few posts I've read regarding the ramblings of neil lennon to the media today when it probably isn't deserved considering some of the comments that's come out his mouth about our club. I agree he's stressed but on the other hand this is a pig headed self-righteous individual who hates our club and would be laughing at us if we were in the same position so therefor i can't feel sorry for him.

Winning breeds winners so for me od be fielding out strongest possible 11. Players probably have more chance of picking up injuries domestically than in Europe with teams in the spl trying to kick us off the park.
